The Legend of the Village of Dragons - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: The Legend of the Village of Dragons   The Legend of the Village of Dragons - Page 2 EmptyTue Jan 01, 2013 6:11 am

First topic message reminder :

In a faraway land, deep within the Dreken forest lies Ryujin Village - the Village of Dragons. For centuries, its human inhabitants have worked in peace with the many dragons that roamed the land, treating each other as equals.
Long ago the villagers made shrines dedicated to the Dragon Guardians. The Guardians aren't Gods but they watch over the land, protecting the people and Pokemon living within it. Each Guardian represents an element or a state of mind.

Giratina the Guardian of Shadows watches over those who have darkness in their hearts and tries to guide them back to the light.

Palkia, the Guardian of Water, influences change whilst keeping the world's water pure enough to drink. Palkia also helps humans and Pokemon reflect upon themselves and realise their flaws. *

Dialga is the Guardian of Steel, though while this pokemon represents purity and clarity of mind, Dialga's image also stands for strength as metals can withstand wear and tear, surviving for many a thousand years.

*Dialga when seen alongside Palkia, is seen as the symbol of Reflection.

Rayquaza the Guardian of the Wind, Carefree. He represents and protects freedom. Rayquaza is used as a symbol of hope when accompanied by Latias and Latios.

Reshiram the Guardian of Warmth, protecting people and pokemon from winter's harsh grip as well as giving them a long awaited spring and summer.

Zekrom is the Guardian of Storms. Whilst also creating stormy weather, this guardian represents the rage in people's hearts. It is part of his job to keep that rage under control, even if it is unleashed as 'stormy' emotions instead of pure hatred.

Kyurem the Guardian of Ice, although he seems to have a cold heart, he brings the icy winters and frosty mornings.By doing so he is preparing the world for spring's new growth.

Latias and Latios are the guardians of Peace and Tranquility. They try their best to prevent major conflict. But sometimes it's hard for even them to quell the anger and hatred in people's hearts. Their presence is believed to have a calming and peaceful influence.

Now after many years of peace a dark shadow threatens. A group known as Team Zetsubou(Despair) threatens the life and peace in the Village of dragons with the power of the Kami's: Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus. Against their will the Kami's have no choice but to obey the Zetsubou. A group of chosen heroes that possess the abilities of the Guardians shall rise and defend their home.

My Bio:

Name: Naru Kage

Gender:Female

Age:18

Appearance:
Spoiler:
(Minus the fans)

Personality: Naru has always been an odd person. Ever since she came back home from exploring the cave she seemed different. She became more quiet and more observant with others. If she "sees" a person she doesn't trust she will simply stay away from that person. She often sticks to the shadows and only talks when she feels she needs to, the only one she really seems to talk to is her Deino, Roxas. She trains with him day and night to help him to get stronger.

History: Naru is what other people would think of as slightly odd. As a small child she loved taking nightly walks and still does till this day. She is rather shy but opens up a little one she gets to know someone. Naru was about 6 or 7 years old when she got lost one while going into a cave exploring, however she came to an amazing surprise to find a Deino. Bursting with excitement she followed the Pokemon trying to catch it. But while following him she realized that she was lost and alone. She stood where she was crying for several minutes until she felt a sudden chill in the air. She knew there was a shadowy presence watching her but she couldn't tell what it was. Without thinking she followed it to where it seemed to be taking her and after an hour or so she found herself in an underground cavern, a cavern that had a few rays of light shining through the roof. The figure that brought her there soon showed itself as the Guardian of Shadows: Giratina. Like the other Guardians he spoke to her through Telepathy, only those that could sense or feel his pr essence could "follow" him to his shrine.

Over the years Naru has trained with Giratina to harness her abilities. Naru also managed to capture a Deino(The same one that got her lost) after coming home from the cave.
Other: Naru wears dark clothes and wears a Topaz stone in her hair.(Like those feather clips you see in a persons hair.)

Pokemon Partner: Deino

Nickname: Roxas

Level: 20

Move set: Dragon Rage, Bite, Headbutt, and Dragon Breath

Personality: Even though he is blind he is carefree and loves to play with the other dragon types. Almost the complete opposite of his trainer, Roxas only wants to prove that he can be strong enough to protect his friends.
Ability: Hustle

Guardian: Giratina

Special ability(s): Being able to sense the darkness in people her eyes start to glow red. The only problem is if there is a lot of people she can't tell who's heart is full of darkness. Also being able to blend in with the shadows allows her to sneak up on people. She can manipulate her own shadow.(Like Pitch from Rise of the Guardians) Naru also has the ability to see in the dark better than a normal human.

Character Bio:

Name: Toby Moise
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Appearance:The Legend of the Village of Dragons - Page 2 TobyMoise_zpsda244608

Personality: Don't be fooled by his child-like face, Toby acts nearly nothing like a child. Quite cynical, this boy is prone to assumptions and harsh judgement. He enjoys citing flaws and finding out meanings and is not afraid to speak his mind, causing him to sound like an insensitive jerk at times. Although, he really doesn't mean it. He just likes being 'brutally honest' as he puts it.

Although, this 16-year old isn't always such a judgemental jerk, and enjoys the peace and serenity of swimming and water in general. He prefers pokemon more than people, but won't mind having to converse with them at times. After all, it just means more opportunities to cite the flaws of humans, right?

History: Toby was forced to live with his uncle Akio in Ryujin Village a year ago. He used to live by the coast, but was moved because of family issues. He had trouble (And still does) with getting used to and learning about the odd culture of the villagers. What had puzzled him the most was the fact they seemed to worship pokemon. 'Dragon Gaurdians' as they were called. Toby didn't believe them.

One fateful day, he spotted a Bagon drowning in a lake nearby the village. He immediately came to its rescue, swimming with impressive speed towards the small dragon. Once he'd got it safely on his shoulders, he began to swim back to shore. He set the small pokemon on the ground, relieved to see it was still alive.

A voice. He'd heard a voice. Toby didn't believe it at first, but the odd, echo-like voice pursued. The boy gave up resisting, and began to follow it. Down, down he went, deeper and deeper into the lake. It hurt his lungs greatly, but he persevered. Soon, he was floating mere inches above the seaweed and underwater plant life. A large, dark silhouette loomed over him, its eyes glowing. There were two large gems embedded on its arms. Using telepathy, it used the same, but clearer, voice to explain why Toby was here. It told him about the Gaurdians, the Shrines, and how he was chosen by the Gaurdian of Water.

Once it was done, the odd, large figure disappeared into the darkness of the water. Toby swam back to the surface, his lungs no longer in pain. The same Bagon stood there, grinning as it walked over to Toby. The dragon followed him to his home, and soon became the boy's partner. Toby refused to believe the mysterious figure, and avoided the lake like a plague. But of course, he couldn't resist forever and soon swam back to the depths where he met the figure again. Palkia was its name, and Toby would often visit it during his swimming sessions at the lake.

Other: He almost never removes the goggles. They were a present from his parents when they found out about his fondness for the water. (He sleeps with them still hanging from his neck, for pete's sake!)

Pokemon Partner: Bagon
Nickname: Gill
Level: 20
Personality: Gill is probably the most friendliest and jolliest of all Bagons. He enjoys befriending humans as much as pokemon, and will not hesitate to hug any friends he comes across! He's very obedient and loyal to his trainer, and would go through lengths to make him proud. Unlike other Bagons, Gill wants to learn how to swim instead of flying, but he's quite satisfied with holding onto his trainer's shoulder and being dragged around in the water during their swims.
Ability: Rock Head, Does not receive recoil damage from recoil-causing damages.
Move-set:
-Dragon Rush (Egg Move)
-Bite
-Headbutt
-Focus Energy

Guardian: Palkia, Gaurdian of Water.
Special ability(s): He can breathe underwater, and is able to manipulate it such as create whirlpools and small tsunamis.

Considering the amount of side threads we have been doing Tenshi, I am going to let you use the colour Orange to mark all of this rp's threads.
