Plot

Everything that lives must one day die. When a human dies, their soul is either reborn as another human, as a pokemon, or rests in the realm of heaven should they have earned their place. When a Pokemon dies, it becomes a ghost until it can be reborn again. But what happens when a Legendary dies?

Under normal circumstances, Legendaries reincarnate themselves, retaining their memories, powers, everything. But all that changed when Cyrus and Team Galactic attempted to remake the world. While they failed to destroy the old world, a new universe was created and enclosed. In this act, all of the legendaries were tied to this new world, and when they die, this dimension would lose the Legendaries forever. Should that happen, the universe would go into a state of destructive chaos until all becomes nothing. And that tie to the new universe is quickly sapping the life energies of the Legendaries away.

To prevent this, the Legendaries must apply a new tactic. New legendaries must take their place. However, the imbalance caused by Cyrus has left Arceus powerless to simply create new entities. Instead, these new beings would have to be made by altering a select few of the living beings of the world. Primarily humans.

In order to ensure that those chosen would be suitable to become the next legendary Pokemon, each Legendary would personally choose their successor. Those chosen would start to develop powers related to their companion legendary. Over the next few months, their bodies would begin to change. The process itself would normally take a full year before the human became a permanent Legendary Pokemon, but if the human uses their powers often enough, then this process would be certainly sped up.

But some Johto scientists have caught glimpses of this occurring. Eager to capture the would-be Legendaries and bring them under his command, the president of Johto has set his military and secret service at high alert. Their orders: to capture these humans and have them brought into his custody where they can be subjected to experiments and brainwashing in order to bring the world under his command.

Your Role

You are one of the humans that a particular legendary Pokemon has chosen to become their successor. As such, you bare a mysterious tattoo somewhere on your body. You must learn how to do the things you would normally command your Pokemon to do. You must learn how to live a completely different way of life and how to cope with leaving behind those you care about.

You must also defend yourselves and each other the Johto government's attacks and traps. Unite together and take them down, try to take Johto's military on by yourself, or try to live a life on the run, the choice is yours.

Another road you might take: you can play as a normal human who has found out about these going-ons and you want to help protect the legend-humans from the Johto military. Perhaps you're a childhood friend of one of these legend humans, or a travel companion, or even a rival.

About Your Powers

As a legend-human, You will be able to transform into your counterpart legendary a total of seven times before the change is permanent. While changing into a legendary form is as easy as simply willing it, changing back into a human becomes more difficult with each time. After the fourth transformation, your body will keep certain features. Your skin may become a different color or grow fur/grass/feathers/etc., you may develop a tail. Only when you are in your legendary form can you use that Pokemon's attack moves. However, you may have powers while in your human form that are attributed to your legendary companion. (ex., The ability to hover/fly, being able to read the surface thoughts of others are fine )

Personality: Sully is a very laid-back person. Because of this, he's quite an optimist and tends to laugh off nearly any offense done against him, always finding a way to smile and continue to act like the mellow person he is. Having such a naive and happy outlook on life, this guy wouldn't mind if you burned off his hair!

At first glance, you could probably tell that he has Narcolepsy from how he's constantly drifting off to sleep during the day and having rather 'fascinating' hallucinations before he falls asleep and after he awakens. It doesn't help that he's difficult to wake up, needing the assistance of his beloved Whismur to interrupt his slumber with its loud screams. This disorder has also caused him to be quite an airhead, affecting his past tutoring sessions and causing him to lack some necessary information about the world around him. (He's not THAT stupid though)

Because of his past life of living in a rich family, he's also a bit spoiled and picky. Don't expect him to grow comfortable with changes too soon!

Bio: Sullivan Jacques was born into a prestigious family. His father's business had close ties to the government, allowing their family to live an easy, luxurious life. His parents were very protective, always keeping an eye out for their son.

All was well for the Jacques family until Sully had begun to show signs of Narcolepsy at the age of 10. This had affected his performance at school, and had caused many of the children to tease and bully him during his time. Soon enough, he was pulled out and was left to study at home with a private tutor. And all was well.

But of course, yet another event disrupted the peace in the Jacques household. A mysterious mark had appeared on Sully's neck. Mr. Jacques became immediately alarmed, knowing full well the significance of the odd mark due to his connections to the government. Sully was then forbidden from leaving their family's manor, and was forced to always wear covering on his neck. Sully was thoroughly confused by this, but was told not to go against it because the mark was apparently jeopardizing him and the family. Not wanting to anger or endanger his family, Sully complied.

Even with the greatest of efforts to hide Sully's mark, a government agent found out and all hell broke loose as scientists and government workers burst into the Jacques manor. Mr. and Mrs. Jacques tried one last ditch effort to save their son by hurriedly preparing him for the start of his sudden journey, letting him escape from the manor with some of the family pokemon before the couple was captured and taken away by the government workers.

Sully was then left to travel on his own, with little knowledge of where to go and how to save his parents. His pokemon are usually the ones to guide him, bringing him to temporary hideouts and places to stay.

Abilities: Sully has the ability to grant 'wishes'. Or in other words, can manipulate the world around him. Using 'wishes', he can cause items to teleport or can cause a chain reaction. This ability is limited by the completexity. e.g. If Sully wishes for an item, it must be within range and he must know what it looks like. The item will then teleport to him, but can appear anywhere within the area. If he wishes for something complex, like changing a living being, he will need to rest for several hours to grant another wish, and the change to the living being will only last a day. He can do a maximum of 3 wishes per day in his state, any more and he'll be knocked out for the rest of the day (And maybe even the night!).

Squeak is Sully's partner and first ever pokemon (That he caught himself, that is). Like any other Whismur, Squeak prefers to stay with who she knows and is a very shy pokemon. This Whismur has been trained, and knows her duty to take care of her sleepy trainer. In times she knows Sully has to be awake, she won't hesitate to unleash a scream that could awaken a city.

Buster the Growlithe [Male][Intimidate]

Buster is one of the family's gaurd dogs. He's the youngest, and was given to Sully when he was 8 as a birthday present. Having been trained as much as any gaurd dog, Buster is overprotective and dislikes having Sully interact with people who seem threatening. Once you get to know him, he acts like any normal pup and has a weakness for belly rubs.

Sort of. Things that constitute 1337 5P33K include: LOL (Laugh out loud), ROFL (Rolling on floor laughing), other similar forms of chatspeak, smilies (:D =< |:<), numbers replacing words or parts of words (2 *looks accusingly at bangbronze*, b4) numbers replacing individual LETTERS (B3 H4PPY) and incredibly and/or intentionally atrocious spelling mistakes. Trust me when I say that I've seen smilies and chatspeak here, and I DETEST IT.
Though this does beg the question of whether I can use 'LOL' in dialogue, considering that I do so in real life. XD

He also wears a navy blue bandanna on his forehead due to the fact that his tattoo is located there.
Personality: Nathan is a typically calm person, but also doesn't have too much patience when it comes to dealing with certain types of people. He can crack a couple jokes at some times, which may also come across as a bit mean or cruel, and also will be serious when it's required. Spending his time travelling around with his pokemon, he hasn't made many human friends and tends to stay away from them, especially since he was chosen.
Bio: Nothing is written in stone yet, but after travelling on his own for a bit he met up with Serena Rosenthal, and the two started to travel together for a week and a half before the start of recent events.
Pokemon Team:

Ferro the Pawniard-Male
Ferro was Nate's first pokemon, partnering with him before anything involving the legendaries choosing humans took place. He is incredibly loyal to Nate, and can be slightly protective at times due to their current situation. He is determined to help his partner stay out of the hands of scientists and the like, and isn't opposed to him having a legendary dark type as a sort of companion.

Senka the Absol-Female
Nate didn't meet Senka until shortly after he set off on his own, accompanied by Ferro. Reluctant to join up with the duo, Senka started to see that they both happened to be generally on their own due to slightly similar reasons, and joined them. She is generally calm, but can be mischievous and sarcastic at times.
