Team Andromeda: Becoming Official

[I cannot freakin' believe I posted this in the WRONG FORUM. Feel free to kill me.]

"Aislinn, I don't think it'd be polite to just barge in since it's the Guildmaster and for all we know they might be a short-tempered pokemon and just- Oh bleh, whatever. Let's go in." The Scraggy followed the Vulpix in the room, though with a bit of hesitation at the thought of intruding. Nonetheless, he let his impatience take over the years of discipline he'd been taught.

Inside, they were greeted with a strong scent of flowers and herbs. Or at least, for Mordred. The sweet scents in the room nearly caused him to flip, causing a quick assumption that they had entered a Watmel storage of some sort, only for him to remove said assumption once he took a good look in the room.

It didn't seem too out of the ordinary, save for the flowers and other decorations that adorned most of the room. There were a few treasures littered here and there, but in a way that it looked quite organized. 'Hey, not bad...' The Scraggy thought quietly, observing the room for a brief moment.

Mordred looked around, "Uh, anyone here?" He asked.

((But if I kill you, we won't be able to role-play! D=))

Aislinn gasped in awe of the room, taking in it's beauty. So many books, so much knowledge to be gained! Oh, the fox could nearly feel them calling to her, begging her to read them! Never mind the fact that they probably only contained records of guild-members and masters over time, the room was positively dripping with valuable information.

"It's so beautiful..." Whispered the vixen to the lizard.

"Uh, anyone here?""

His words brought her back to reality; right, they were there to sign up to the guild, not to read. They could do that later, maybe, if the guild had a library. 'Ooh, ooh! A librar- focus, Aislinn.'

"Um, yeah." Barked the Vulpix, awkwardly. "Yeah, um, do you recon the guild-master is out or...?"

Just then a Meganium appeared in the doorway. She blinked, having not expected it to be open and looked inside.
"Oh.. uhm.. Hello?" she blinked, her yellow antennae at odd angles because of her confusion. No one had actually let themselves into her room before... she found it to be quite disconcerting. She would have to remember to lock the door next time.

"Can I help you?"

"Oh!" Aislinn jumped, and span around at the question. Her rusty fur began to tremble, and her ears flattened against her back as she pressed against the ground. Yup. There was that anxiety.

"Um, s-sorry to just walk in. We were, um, l-looking for the guild-master. I-is that y-you?" The fox squeaked at a barely audible level. Well, now what? They probably weren't going to be allowed to join the guild now, and then what? Oh, what if this Meganium called for security or something? 'No no no no, please, please,please don't hurt us!'

Mordred's eyes widened before turning around. He relaxed a bit, seeing that whoever had just entered the room along with them wasn't at his or his partner's disadvantage. 'Meganium. Grass type. Aislinn is a fire type. I have Ice punch as a fail-safe. But still, a MEGANIUM.'

The Scraggy felt a bit awkward. 'But then again, this is probably the Guildmaster... who caught us... in their room....' He took a quick glance at his partner, who seemed very much afraid. He hadn't heard her squeak since they met a few hours ago.

"Uh,Yeah, we're really sorry for intruding. We're kinda... just looking for the Guildmaster. We want to form a team in this guild. Do you know where we could sign up or...?" He asked.

"Yes. I'm Grassveil's Guildmaster..." she blinked, glancing around her room as if checking that everything was in it's rightful place. It was, so she assumed that these two were telling the truth. To be honest they looked quite terrified anyhow. She paused for a long few seconds before walking into the room and towards the desk.

"Alright then. You said you wanted to sign up?" she said, taking a book down off of the shelf with what looked to be a nicely used Vine Whip move. She placed the book on her desk and opened it to an empty page. Using her vines, she then picked up a quill and dipped it in a bottle of ink that lay on the desk.

"Oh. I'm Faye by the way," she blinked, turning her head to look back at the Vulpix and Scraggy, "What are your names?"

Mordred snapped out of his little trance once the Meganium had asked for their names "I'm Mordred." he said, motioning what could have been his thumb at his chest. He pointing at his partner. "That over there is my partner, Aislinn. Our team's supposed to be Team Andromeda." 'I still have to get used to that.'

Mordred scratched the back of his neck sheepishly, still feeling embarrassed about the whole 'sudden intrusion' thing. It wasn't really how he pictured his first encounter with an official Guildmaster to be.

Aislinn nodded quickly, to affirm her partner's words, with a slight whimper. "Y-yeah, that's right."

Mordred stopped, sudden realization slapping him across the face like when he first came to Grassveil. "...No. Wait. Don't write down the team." He interrupted. The Scraggy turned to Aislinn, a look of realization and worry on his face.

"Ai, I'm really sorry, but I don't think I can make a team with you. Really sorry. But... I can't handle being in a team. If I go with a team, there's a chance you'll be endangered. There's been a bit of a screw up in my life, and now I have a pokemon, maybe even a group, coming after me. I don't want them to end up hurting you. You're a good pokemon. But I'm afraid you might not be strong enough to protect yourself from my enemies." (Remember Roger? There's a possibility he and the rest of Mordy's siblings will come after him to avenge Valora.)

The Scraggy turned back to the Meganium. "I'll... come back soon. Once I've found the right partners. Sorry for wasting your time." He said, walking out of the room and proceeding out of the building without giving a second thought.
