Do Gummis have any benefit other than taste for different pokemon in this rp? Like how it used to raise IQ

No. Unfortunately Gummi's are mostly for taste, at least until someone can come up with a better use for them as IQ isn't something that's measured on this site :/

Maybe if they eat the correct type they get a power boost? A temporary one ofcourse

That sounds like a cool idea actually! I won't settle anything for now but i'll keep that in mind ^^

Either that, or it could boost their happiness, which would be useful for some evolution.

I'm just going to bump this thread to the top. There is an actual system as to when an who can learn what IQ skills. Couldn't we just drag that into the forums?

Thing is this is an RP setting, the IQ system is just AI enhancements and things that normally wouldn't be explainable in RP setting.

How does getting smarter allow you to walk on a cloud? How does it explain walking on water? Lava?

House Avoider? What houses? You control when they occur.

Super Mobile? What's the point when you can use your surroundings?

Map surveyor? What map?

As of right now Gummis are used to evolve Eevee into Sylveon and in the shop known as To-Goat shop to raise your energy. I'm sure they'll probably get more use later on, but to drag the IQ system from the actual games would make things that don't make sense occur and would probably limit the roleplaying ability if we enforced it.

For example, you can't smash your way through a cave wall using another pokemon, because you haven't eaten enough gummis. You can't dodge attacks because you don't have quick dodger. You HAVE to walk into lava because you don't have Lava evader, even if that Lava would probably kill your character instantly.

When you put it that way, I guess you're right. ^^'

It should be note that Gummis do naturally affect energy. Gummis of a different type to your character replenish 1 energy in a thread and 3 energy if they are of the same type. You can find it and many other items/moves that affect energy. (As a side note, Big, Huge, and Golden Apples have no affect to energy. Apples replenish 5, Oran berries replenish 10, and Sitrus berries replenish 15.)
