"Roku? Rooookuuuuuu!" Sekita's voice rang out as loudly as she could muster without a care for who or what might hear her. Each step was made with caution as her blank stare focused onward at nothing in particular. Her ears twisted and twirled around at each and every sound, the massive size of them helping her in picking up on every little detail around her. She could hear the soft ocean roar, the whispers of the trees as the wind blew through them, and that was about it. She could feel the sand in her paws...and in her fur, in between her toes, and ugh-everywhere! After a brief pause, she took in a breath and called out once more, "ROKU!"
Nothing. Time to switch tactics. "DAAAAAAADDDYYYYYYYYYYY!" as if that was going to be any more effective than the last few shouts. Little Sekita was supposed to have come here on a little vacation with her brother and father, a little father and children bonding moment, but she'd been separated. Her lip puffed out in a pout as her ears drooped. She should have figured this would happen. Whenever Roku wanted to show her something away from everything, it was basically fate for him to bolt off in some direction and forget to bring her with him. She was never truly angry at him for it, however, since he was still much younger than her...and the sad puppy-dog tears he shed whenever he apologized were too heart-breaking to resist.
"HELLLOOOOOOO? IS THERE LITERALLY ANYBODY AROUND HERE?" she continued to shout, "I DEMAND CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK TO YOUR MANAGER!" The little ball of jet black fur sighed dramatically as she sat herself down. Some "beach resort" this turned out to be. This was the last time she was going to let her dad trust any "brochure" Roku came across...

| Oh how good it felt to dream! Melvin chuckled in his lulling world, imaging the great joy of burning Karen at the stake, charing his old tainted business ,and building a new everlasting empire atop its ashes! oh he couldn't wait to awaken, to reach out and- "AHHHHH!!!" Melvin bursted angerily from his slumber, his thoughts interrupted yet again. That insensitive, landless, turkey-legged Karen just clamped his maw straight onto Melvin's holy tail
"Eat pocket sand, you snake-eyed harlot!" Melvin fired a kickful of sand straight into that monster's eyes, cursing him with the joyful gift of sand. "Yeah you like that, you birdbrain? that burning in your eyes? THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN CURSED TO ON THE GODLESS ISLAND! JOIN ME IN AGONY, BABY!" Melvin began manically laughing in hysteria.

| Sosio: {15}- Items:
✓Joy Ribbon (Since Lvl 7) - Worn on back of the head.
Grimy Food Soothe Bell Trawl Orb (x5) House Orb (x5) Brown Gummi
While tussling with the feisty beast, Sosio suddenly felt a rush of strength reach her. Utilizing this boost, the bird managed to shove the Crabrawler aside and act according to her situation. Flooded with adrenaline, she began furiously attacking in an attempt of self-defense. Once she realized this was ineffective, she took to the skies, a shiver running through her spine from the stress of the situation. It didn't help that the Pokemon next targeted the sleeping sheep, and to her great misfortune, only then did she notice that the Mareep was actively being attacked by the fossil bird, too. Hurriedly, the Fletchinder swooped down on the scene, trying to reach it in time to assist the stranger. Even with her fire-fueled speed, she only managed to make it over just after the fluffy 'mon had thrown sand at the Archeops, rendering it nearly blind. His reaction just after the opponent had stumbled back had Sosio clenching her beak in discomfort and slight fear. Just what on earth did she get herself into? Shaking off the encounter, the two Pokemon seemed to go back to fighting each other again, the crab using the fossil's newest handicap to its cruel advantage. Sosio thought to let them be and hopefully steer them out of the way should they return, but for the moment, the bird flew over to the Pokemon who had presumably used an assist in battle. "Thanks for that... Are you okay?" The fire-type asked cautiously, somewhat out of breath, but not from exertion—Sosio could run, fly, and battle just fine, but when it came to stressful situations, the wind was almost always knocked right out of her. The quickening of her heartbeat demanded much more oxygen than she could manage at a regular pace of respiration, thus forcing her to huff as if she just ran out of energy. In reality, she was more than ready to hop back into battle should anything threaten these two very high-maintenance Pokemon. "The name's Sosio, by the way. I'll help you find your family."

| . . .
Well, it was now very clear to her that this Mareep was in need of a mental institution. Daddy always said to stay away from the crazies-as intriguing as they may be. Fortunately, this one didn't interest her as much on account to being rude as all holy hell. She would make it a point not to help him with anything at all and simply ignore his...odd behaviors.
The eevee glanced in the fletchinder's direction, "oh? Yeah, I'm fine." Sekita mused flippantly, without missing a beat, a wide friendly smile returned to her expression, "Thanks though! It's a kind of difficult for me to get around places I haven't been to. I can get by fine, but when something like that happens it's a little tough. Mind explaining what just happened?"

| "YEAH THAT'S RIGHT! PISS OFF BIRD BRAIN!" Melvin spat, hurling another storm of sand towards the turkey-neck one last time before grumbling something under his breath.
"insensitive little shit..." Melvin curled back up in his sand pit, angerly shifting back and forth until he dug himself a makeshift bed. Reluctantly, he forced his eyes shut, trying to rest comfortably. His body though protested, twitching from the irritation. Melvin snapped his lids shut harder, trying to force to sleep as he tuned out the bird and the incredibly annoying, manipulative, and demanding fox that almost rivaled chicken legs, putting no further thought into them.

Choosing to ignore the sheep's loud battle cries, Sosio looked to the Eevee, grateful that her young companion was all right. However, her next request had greatly confused the ditsy bird. "Explain what happened? You were right in the middle of all of it though?" Unable to grasp the concept of any form of perception beyond her own, the Fletchinder decided to stop thinking and just let the yet-to-be-named fox explain for herself what the deal was. Sosio didn't mind so much that she never disclosed her name, but curiosity was eating away at her insides, not to mention the itch to explore and help her little vulpine friend find her family. Truly, the fire-type was just eager to continue regardless of what lay ahead. Musing about what to do in the meantime, Sosio pulled out one of the several orbs she had with her. She didn't recall which was which 100%, but whether Trawl or Monster, it would at least give her something to do. Although preferably, items would be better given the disaster that had only just occurred in front of everyone mere moments ago. She held the orb in her claw and just desperately hoped it was the right one. Trawl Orb:- aMEWzing carried out 10 launched of one Ancient Island :

| Sekita put just about as much thought into the sheep as he did to her. She too ignored his cries in favor of paying attention to the bird who seemed confused by her question. Her ears twitched, a tad annoyed that she had to explain. Surely the bird must have pieced it together by now! Well...it did kind of seem like the only truly "nice" people around in the world were also total idiots.
She held back an exasperated sigh as she opted to respond quickly with a smile on her face, "I'm blind." The vixen's ears twitched yet again when she head something fall around them. Several things actually. They were small, she could tell, and the lack of concern from anyone around her notified her that no threat was around...
...
Did this bird just use an item in the middle of their conversation? She may have been blind, but even if she could see, that was just rude! Despite her displeasure with the action, she held her tongue. She needed this bird.

| "God this is unbearable..." Melvin shook in the sand before finally reaching his limit.
"Oi, Lassie!" He called out, obliviously cutting off the bird and... the other one's conversation. "Bird girlie, you seem like someone who'd have a good scope of things. Any chance you know where a town is nearby? I've been lost here for days with nothing in sight, and i'm afraid the ol' body's starting to give out on me now." Melvin reached out desperately with a shooken smile, as he stared hungerly at the bird as she casted her orb. How jealous Melvin was to see treasure, oh the thing he so desperately wanted. Surely if she could find treasure, she was some also glorious. But of course, Melvin had to make sure to moan and grunt as much as he could, trying to win the bird's sympathy over that whinny, annoying child. She wouldn't leave a poor defenseless old man... who looks exceptionally good for his age and has an unrivaled fervor that would easily let him make it out oi here regardless of her aid and do it with style now would she? Right? Please god... she wouldn't dare...
Melvin broke out into a cold sweat as his smile cracked in fear. "god, please don't let the yapper win her sympathy." he continued to frantically pray to himself.

| Sosio: {15 - 0 (Trawl Orb) = 15}- Items:
✓Joy Ribbon (Since Lvl 7) - Worn on back of the head.
Grimy Food Soothe Bell Trawl Orb (x4) House Orb (x5) Brown Gummi Grass Gummi Sleep Seed (x2) Deluxe Box Escape Orb Banana
Sosio simply stared in shock at the Eevee's blunt statement. Not only had it ever occurred to her that that could be the reason, but it had completely slipped her mind that blindness was something that existed. When it came to the bird, she had both literal and psychological tunnel vision, leading to forgetfulness and lack of attention. "O-oh," she managed to utter. "I didn't know." A tsunami of guilt washed over her as she finished her sentence. The Eevee may have been literally blind, but the Fletchinder had an unwanted tendency to be socially blind. Either the cogs in her brain weren't working quite right, or she just struggled immensely with picking up on social cues. This led to a more recent caution with what she says and does, but she was still far from perfect; she still failed to acknowledge what could be considered rude, and that flaw lay prevalent before the unfairly treated fox before her. Before she could open her beak to speak another word, the dozing sheep had cut them off, intervening with a need of his own. The request she understood, but everything else he blathered on about only confused the overwhelmed Sosio even further. Well, I do know my way back to Rainfront and Grassveil, but..." She trailed off, passing a glance to the other beach-goer. "I have others to help before I can leave." She didn't so much state this dejectedly as much as she did with a weight of responsibility. It wasn't heroism, nor loyalty: it was pure guilt. Not only had she promised to help the Evolution Pokemon, but now her misunderstanding her couldn't possibly be excused by her sorry verbal apology. Which reminded her, if she didn't work on this quickly, things might become more desperate, especially if the entire day were to pass. Shuffling through her assortment of items, she offered the only ones that wouldn't spark any more problems. "Take one of these to eat for now," she offered, holding out her two gummis and banana to the Mareep. She didn't mind letting him decide, especially since she really had no interest in any of these. As she was about to go back to her bag for an item check, she realized the Escape Orb could also be utilized. Should she offer it now, and get one more Pokemon out of her hair? Or was that not fair? She was trapped in her thoughts of options, staring mindlessly into her bag before another small detail came to her mind. She probably should have offered something to her other companion, should the Pokemon accept it, anyway. "Do you need anything to eat, er, um..." Sosio couldn't recall if she heard the Eevee's name and just forgot, or if they had never introduced themselves, so she sat there in silence as she now blanked on 2 answers. - OOC//:
Either of you feel free to take whatever you want of those three options. Also Kat, you can choose to have Sekita hear the soothe bell in sosio's pack if you'd like, considering you'd need it for evolution. It could be a parting gift or something too if you'd like. Also "whinny" lmao. Horse eevee.

| ooc: That's alright, i've got the stuff I need for her to evolve! I just don't want her to do so just yet. She needs to earn it ;)
Ooooh that sorrowful pitiful voice. She was all too familiar with it. That bird had the guilties. It was a sort of term that her father used to describe being eaten up with guilt...at least to her. She knew he that he refuse to use such terminology around his more adult friends. She didn't mind it though, it made her feel special in a way.
She couldn't help but find it adorable that the bird felt bad for their idiocy. It was the most positive reaction they could have done in her book. Her smile became a little more authentic and warm as the bird spoke. Her ear gave another twitch as the blaaaathering of the lamb made her wish it would just pass out of heat exhaustion already. A terrible thing to wish upon someone, but she was also a terrible child.
"Don't beat yourself up over it, it's not a big deal," the eevee was certain to clarify, "I'm pretty good at hiding it sometimes...theeeeen you get the times where I just crack straight into a pole!" It rarely happened, but in times like these self-depreciating jokes often worked over sour patches.
But that didn't mean she wasn't going to abuse the opportunity for food. "I'd love to have something to eat if you don't mind! My father could certainly repay you once we find him. I'm sure he'd be very grateful!"

| "FOOD!" Melvin stomach screamed as he ripped all three pieces of food with his mouth, gorging with delight. "Ah divine," he sung to himself, chewing and squishing the food back and forth in his mouth until he looked up and saw the bird and fox, and then suddenly the realization of what he had just done came to him.
Sitting there awkwardly, he just glanced with at them with banana oozing from his mouth before trying to atone for his mistake by slowly mama-birding his dinner back to the ground. Embarrassed, he sat in pure silence as he gulped down only a third of what he put in.
"So... this Grasstown... you say it's not far now, right? Good Good." He nodded with a guilty face. "If you could just be a dear and point me in the right direction i'll go ahead and be out of your way so you can tend to more... demanding matters." He coughed, avoiding all eye contact as he tried to dig his way out of this tense situation.
