Everspring Vale: Round 2.
Last time Osiris had stomped through these grounds, he'd met a very good friend and had a very bad day. The dratini had been woefully underprepared, weak, unimaginative, and a burden to the people that he wanted to take care of. Today, he wasn't much different. The most prominent difference was that he was aware of it and actively looking to flip the script, thanks to some much-needed advice he'd gotten.
It was time to really, honestly challenge himself for the first time. Fully, fairly, and most importantly safely. The dragon worm slithered through the tall-grass of the Vale's many forestlike areas, ducking through bushes and between trees as he searched for good match-ups. He'd brought his satchel with him this time around, packed full of supplies and useful items in case he found himself hurt, needing an edge in a fight, or a way out of a sticky situation.
It was time to do this right.

| A big thing? An interesting thing. Something she wanted to meat-I mean meet. An odd rumble echoed from the beast below...it almost sounded akin to a purr, but it clearly was not. Whatever that noise she made aside, the tyrantrum was interested in what the dratini saw.
"Well, if they're running from it then odds are it's of interest to us," She declared without any real reason as to why. She just wanted to go say hello to the "really big thing" this dratini spoke of. It'd been a while since she met something or someone as big if not bigger than her, so this would prove to be interesting...especially if they wanted to fight.
She kind of hoped they wanted to fight.
She could totally show off her strength in front of this dratini in a fight.
She wanted to fight. | |

| Osiris squinted from his high perch, stealing what glimpses of the weird thing he could see. It wasn't difficult at all to discern that this creature was bigger than Victoria, even from this distance. But Osiris knew better than most that size wasn't always the determining factor of a fight. And this tyrantrum just oozed confidence and strength; he would be lying if he said he didn't want to see her in action.
So down the tree he went, jumping from branch to branch neatly until it was time to make the jump all the way down. "Sounds good to me!" he said as he descended, landing on the ground with a soft whump. "Are you gonna battle it if it's the reason for the tremors?" the dratini asked bluntly and curiously, a noticeable amount of excitement trickling into his voice.
He'd come here originally to test himself, but this wasn't a bad alternative. There was a lot to learn just by watching.

| Oooh she wished she could little noodle. The tyrantrum didn't have a second thought to her response, "If it's hostile, yes. Diplomacy always comes first, but if they decide they don't want to then..." She looked down at the dratini with a knowing grin. She decided to allow his imagination to piece together what she implied with the comment.
Instead, she started forward in the direction the dratini spotted the creature off in, presumably with his guidance...otherwise she would end up going in the wrong direction. She just wanted to get on the move already. "Feel free to hop on for a ride," she added on casually, "It's easier that way and it doesn't bother me none." It was also relatively safer in case something decided to attack Osiris, but that wasn't what she focused on. What she really wanted to do...was fulfill the role of a lovable badass dragon to the tiny noodle. | |

| Ahh, yes. It was relieving to see that he'd pegged her type correctly. She wanted to fight this big thing - maybe not as much as she wanted to clear up the whole tremor thing, but no doubt Victoria was thinking about it. The dratini's own grin widened when he spotted hers, a childlike excitement bubbling up in him that he didn't think he had time for anymore.
But well, when life gives you lemonade for once, you take it gratefully because it could've been liquid dirt. "Don't mind if I do!!" Osiris practically sang, speeding around the tyrantrum's side, jumping up onto her tail, and slithering up to a stopping point right behind the crest on her forehead. It made for a nice sort of guard rail, something to—carefully—wrap his tail around to ensure he didn't fall off once the going got rough.
He let his head and neck hang down a bit so that he'd be visible in the peripheral of her vision. "I saw 'em southwest of here, maybe uh... half a mile? Three-quarters? Not that far of a walk." he informed dutifully, radiating glee and excitement. He was going to ride a tryantrum! | |

| With a little dratini on board, she was ready to be on her way. Once she got her instructions, she was off. Her pace was hurried, more of a light run than the cautious walk she held earlier. Each step rumbled the earth, but it wasn't long before the thunder of her footsteps were overwritten by the booming rumbles and quakes of something much bigger. She did not once hesitate or slow down, ready to charge right into the scene even as they passed a pineco that cried out for her to turn back as she ran towards the danger. Zygarde's recruit has appeared!R E G I G I G A S Crack! Snap! Trees were reduced to twigs with little effort. Pokemon fled as the massive creature uprooted and tore decades of the environment's hard work. It crashed, it banged, and it held no mercy for the inhabitants that fled. The regigigas had just finished its work with a particularly large tree before a grumble sounded from behind it.
The colossal pokemon ever so slowly turned around to face the source. A tyrantrum approached, with what appeared to be a little dratini for some sort of hat. Without hesitation, the creature reached over for one of the trees it uprooted and gave it a toss in the Tyrantrum's direction."GIGIGIGIGIGIGAAAAAAAAAASSSSS" it cried.

| The only reason the novelty of the ride wore off for Osiris was the rumbling signal of a behemoth nearby. Up 'til that point, he'd been enjoying the sensation, but the familiarity of being in this dungeon and knowing that a powerful, huge pokemon was nearby without knowing when it was coming at you... it gnawed at him. Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, Osiris wasn't kept in suspense for too long. The dratini bore witness to a massive tree falling to the ground, and behind it stood a living giant. Bigger than Victoria in every way by a significant margin, all of its movements conveyed strength and weight behind them. Of course, the sight of it reaching down to pluck up a tree and bodily toss it at them helped to sell that image. "Watch out!!" Osiris shouted instinctively. It was really more-so advice than a genuine warning because he was out of there. The dratini bodily sprung off of the tyrantrum's head, leaping to the side with extremespeed. In the heat of the moment, he seriously doubted that the large and lumbering dragon-type avoided the blow, as he was on top of her head and it was close enough for him. Of the two of them, though, Victoria was definitely more suited to power through that sort of surprise attack to deliver one of her own. The dratini hit the ground in a rough tumble, grinding his teeth together in agitation and pain at his rough landing. The small wyrm immediately ducked for cover behind another fallen tree, poking his eyes out slightly to observe the ensuing commotion. He hoped the giant beast hadn't noticed him, because he had a feeling he'd really need the element of surprise to make a difference in case Victoria needed a hand... if she'd even want one. - the sunset hero carried out 1 launched of one Everspring Vale :

| She could hear the dratini's cries and warnings, but she decidedly ignored it. This was the first time she'd come across a powerhouse as big as her, she wanted to know just how good she was now that she was finally evolved. The tyrantrum planted her feet firmly into the ground to meet the attack head on. To her surprise, the attack hurt. The tree smashed into her snout and crown, the force of the attack pushed her back a fair distance even as her large talons dug into the ground. The log dropped in front of her, but she did not wait to survey the situation or think about what she was doing. She bellowed as loud as her voice could go as each stomp of her feet caused massive jagged spires to erupt from the ground. As she got closer to the regigigas, she jumped. It wasn't a very long or large jump, but it was enough to get some air and land in front of the regigigas. The moment she landed, a circle of stone spires sprouted out from the ground around her, with a particularly long and large focus in the direction of the regigigas's body. R E G I G I G A S The giant pokemon prepared itself to take the tyrantrum's charge head on, ready to catch her and wrestle with her. To it's surprise, however, the rock type ceased their charge and finished it with a jump that caused stones to erupt from the ground and slam into the normal type's gut. "REEEGIIGIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGAS" It cried as it stumbled back. Despite the powerful force of the attack, it seemed to barely leave a scratch on it.
If anything, it was just angered.
With a great swing of its arm, the regigias's hand slammed into the tyrantrum and swept her off of her feet. An angered roar echoed throughout the valley followed by the loud crushing sound of her collapse. Dust and dirt clouded the area as the legendary pokemon pinned Victoria to the ground, completely unaware or uncaring of Osiris' existence.

| That... was not good. Osiris had honestly expected the exact opposite to go down. He thought the mysterious giant would be the one to put up a valiant effort before getting squashed. But here they were, with Victoria on the ground and the behemoth taking a vicious upper hand, holding the regal dragon down as if she were no more than an unruly child lashing out at an adult.
He wanted to intervene. The dratini knew that a lot of pokemon—himself included—had their pride, and by interrupting the fight he may cause Victoria to feel shame and thus earn her scorn. To his eyes, though, the victor of that fight had been determined pretty quickly, no matter what kind of struggle the rock-type put up going forward. The only question left in his mind was how? If the stronger dragon-type couldn't put a dent in the freaky colossus, what chance did he stand?
Precisely none, he realized immediately. What he could do was make it easier for her to do her job, though. Don't notice me, don't notice me, don't notice me, he chanted in his mind, his tail streaming with electricity. The serpentine pokemon spun in a tight circle, flicking his tail out briefly to launch a thunder-wave in an arc aimed high, where it would hopefully strike the giant standing over Victoria.
Iris immediately slithered deeper behind his fallen tree, clenching his eyes shut and waiting for the tell-tale sound of thunderous footsteps before he was inevitably plucked up by an irritated giant. | |

| The arch of electricity shot through the air and connected with the intended target. Victoria only saw the slightest bit of energy just behind the giant as it pressed down on her rib cage. She struggled and snapped, but the Regi's other hand smashed down on her jaws, holding them onto the ground. Her legs kicked and struggled, flurries of dirt and stone being pushed around. Shock and anger erupted through her at how easily his thing had taken her down and effectively rendered her useless. Her head thrashed as she once again attempted to brute force her way through the problem. Fortunately, that little wave of energy rippled through the giant and weakened its hold against her. The regi's hand on her jaws faltered and froze just long enough for her to force her to turn her head just enough to latch onto the giant's fingers. A sickening crunch followed by the sharp and quick crackle of ice formations started up and around the Regigias's fingers. R E G I G I G A S "ST-ST-ST-STOOOOOOOOW" the normal type's voice boomed over the outraged growls and bellows of the tyrantrum it pinned. While the tyrantrum gnawed away at its fingers with one hand, it released the dinosaur and pointed in the direction the arc of electricity shot from. A small yellow orb formed in the center of what was presumably his palm before electrical waves of its own shot forward. The arcs spread out in each and every direction, touching and feeling the ground like a spider, before it eventually located the little dratini with its Shock Wave.

| After a second of waiting for his fate, Osiris realized maybe he hadn't been sleuthed out. The dratini spun on a dime to observe the giant once more and bore witness to Victoria thrashing around in its hold. His thunder wave had no visible effect that he could discern, so he'd have to resort to other means. The dratini turned on a dime and viciously tore his satchel flap open, knowing time was of an essence. He'd prepared a number of safety measures in case he ran into trouble, and he had a feeling he was going to have to exhaust all of them just to get out of this safely. The only thought in his mind was that he and Victoria couldn't do this alone, so they needed help. He fished out an orb that he thought would summon precisely that, smashing it onto the ground in a fit of wild panic. He had precisely enough time to pull out another orb before flashes of light caught his attention, crawling towards him at frightening speed before his world lit up in an explosion of thunder, pain, and shock. The dratini slumped over onto the ground, completely slack and still, his scales smoking heavily. The orb in his mouth clattered against the ground uselessly, rolling to a stop once it nudged the fallen tree he'd been hiding behind. | The other hand of the regigigas whipped back after its attack towards Osiris and latched onto the opening of her jaw. She clenched shut, but slowly and steadily the Regigigas forcefully opened her mouth despite her rows of teeth and ice that dug into the monster. Unable to do much else, she focused all of her strength and concentration on trying to clamp down while her hind legs steadily got herself back up onto her feet. The two wrestled with the strength, but Victoria was clearly fighting a losing battle. Just as her jaws were opened half a foot wide, she suddenly rushed forward and slammed her head into the creature when she figured it least expected it. R E G I G I G A S The light of Osiris' orb shined, but the regigigas could not pay much attention to it due to the fact that Barney the Dinosaur was trying to bit off what few digits it had on its hand. A slew of pokemon appeared around Osiris, specifically a Sentret, Vulpix, Forretress, Ursaring, Skiddo, and his worst enemy-a mightyena. All six pokemon seemed highly agitated, but seeing as Osiris was already down for the count, their sights were set on the next best thing: The kaiju fight right across the way.
A barrage of attacks assaulted the massive pokemon, ranging from weak to the forretress literally attempting to explode in the Regigigas's face. The blast of the explosion knocked the tyrantrum off of the Regigigas, as well as some of the others off of the regi's downed body. Residual damage was done to his ally given her close proximity, but that wasn't what was to be worried about. Despite the barrage of attacks from the hostile and fearless "Allies", the Regigigas hardly seemed to have a scratch on him. If anything he was just slightly dirty.
The regigigas forced itself back up from the ground, with a mighty bellow "D-D-D-DESSSSSTRRRRR-" It cried as it lifted both of its arms up, electricity crackled around it as it strained to move any small amount. Far quicker than its movements before, both of the arms slammed into the ground. The earth shattered and rippled as the ground was upturned and large stone spires rippled out around him. The tyrantrum accompanied by the other summoned pokemon cried out in a mix of terror and pain as they were thrown off their feat and subjected to being slammed and tossed about in the wrath of the earthquake, the only safe zone being the crater that developed around the normal type.

| There were a few minute shivers and jerkings in Osiris' body, remnants of the electricity still running through him before he fell slack, barely coming in and out of consciousness and regretting the inhumanly stupid decision of coming back to this godawful dungeon... with what little cognitive awareness he had left in this state, at least. The dratini was dimly aware of the presences spawning around him, jumping into the conflict with no second thoughts.
His eyelids were nearly too heavy to lift, but he could make out the sight of the orb in front of him - he knew what he wanted to do with it, but he didn't have the strength to use it anymore. Regrettably, he closed his eyes and simply waited for the conflict to end - there was nothing he could do. Life then flipped him one more bird as a powerful shockwave spread throughout the ground, crushing and disfiguring the earth underneath them to an absurd degree. The dratini was thrown about with abandon, lurching into the air and slamming back down repeatedly as the move ran its course.
By the end of it all, it went unsaid that he was absolutely out of it, unconscious and absolutely defenseless. | |

| She was heaved and tossed into the air by the land around her as if it were nothing. She could feel herself be tossed about as jagged stones and rocks from her earlier attack jabbed into her. The tyrantrum roared and bellowed as long gashes were inflicted on her. When the attack settled, the ground around them was a mess. The once smooth grassy surface was now torn apart by jagged lines of rocky teeth that jutted out in every which direction. Walking on it pained her, but the Regigigas had no issue with this. The thought of looking for the tiny dratini that brought her here crossed her mind only briefly, but it was quickly forgotten. This thing was beating her. She couldn't accept that. Whether the kid was safe or not, she had a status to uphold. A crackle echoed in her throat before it built up into a roar. The bellow was weak, but it didn't stop her from charging towards the giant. Each of her steps disrupted the ground around them even further, but each step also carried the pain of walking on what felt like glass to her. She moved to slam her feet into the ground once again in another ferocious Stone Edge, but before she could, her body hit the ground. R E G I G I G A S It almost looked like the tyrant pokemon had tripped, but Regigigas knew what truly happened. The gravity around it intensified greatly, causing the pokemon's top-heavy body to topple over with an inability to fight against it. It could hear the snarls of the tyrantrum as it slowly appoached with its near-paralyzed body.
The regigigas winded back its fist, before the icy coating from the tyrantrum's fangs seemed to solidify and cover the arm completely. The fist suddenly swung back with as much force as it could muster and slammed into the Tyrantrum's side. Despite the intensive gravity, the heavy rock type was sent off to the side with a hazardous roll before she barrelled into the trees, just barely over Osiris's unconcious body. Her body slumped in defeat, failing to rise even as the gravity lightened up. The regigigas stepped forward, one by one, seemingly unfinished with the two that attacked it out of nowhere.
? ? ? From the dark clouds above, two beams of purple energy suddenly shot forward. One struck the Regigigas, while the other drew a line between it and the dratini. A duo of red and blue burst from the clouds and were upon the Regigigas in the blink of an eye.
They swirled around the creature, launching attack after attack before a close swing nearly struck the red form. Immediately after wards, each one bolted off in the direction of the injured participants. The little dratini's body disappeared in an instant, the speed of the pokemon that picked him up practically untracable. Each of the fainted pokemon seemed to disappear one by one until all of the unconcious bodies in the area seemed to have been whisked away.
Victoria's body, on the other hand, well, the blue one seemed to have a bit of difficulty. The pokemon was forced to slow down at least a little with a struggle to pick up the big pokemon. After only a second, the Tyrantrum's body was cloaked in a faint purple light...before she began to float. The red pokemon zipped back towards the blue and assisted as they struggled off with their haul away from the rampaging pokemon.
---
After an unknown period of time, the duo would awaken to the warm feeling of a healing pulse. | |

| Osiris' eyes fluttered open, the dratini blissfully unaware of where he was or what was happening only moments prior. He blinked a few times, staring up at the cloudy sky, wondering why he woke up on the ground and not in his bed. The serpentine dragon flipped over, raising his head to look around him at the devastated forest... and then reality hit.
The noodle went ramrod straight, panic and fear filling his heart as he did a full one-eighty. His frantic eyes flickered side-to-side, searching for the nameless, giant monster that had so effortlessly dominated him and the tyrantrum he was with. He didn't immediately spot it, but he found the tyrantrum. At least Victoria was around.
What'd happened? The last thing he saw was a flash of light... and then the world exploded. Almost literally - it got bumpy there for a minute. He looked around properly now, scanning every direction from horizon to horizon... and spotted a strange-looking red-and-blue duo a little too close for comfort. "U-uh," he said eloquently. "He-... hello?" he asked more than greeted, confusion strong in his voice. The dratini appeared pretty lost. | |

| The last thing she felt was a blast of chill and a hard impact against her side. She didn't know how long she was out or, but it was a warmer wake-up than she would have anticipated. She still felt dizzy while her ribs ached. She didn't dare to move beyond shifting her head ever so slightly to check where the source of warmth came from. She spotted the red and blue figures, as well as Osiris. The blue one seemed more focused on her than the other two, but she could still hear some banter between the levitating duo and the little worm. She said nothing, the only sound to escape her being a discontent grumble. LATIAS & LATIOS "Ha! I told you it was still alive!" the red one piped up with an excited squeal. A quick loop-de-loop was performed before she looked over to the blue one smugly.
"I never said he was dead, I just said it was unlikely he would wake up soon," the blue creature retorted with an exhausted yet amused roll of the eyes.
"Hello!" The latias turned back to Osiris, floating very close to the dratini's face with an eager and wide grin, "How ya feelin? Anything broken? Well-if you have anything to break-er Latios do Dratini have bones?" She looked over to the blue creature, now dubbed Latios.
"Yes?"
"Okay cool!" She fwipped back to Osiris, "Are any of your bones broken? Concussion? Oh-Oh! How many claws am I holding up?" She asked as she held up the tiny nub of her hand with two talons held high and the other ever so slightly lowered. | |
