Temporarily banned characters?

Is Ralts still banned? Ever since I saw the list of temporarily banned Pokemon, I was kinda disappointed, but then I noticed that the list wasn't edited until December 31st, 2015.

If it is still banned, I understand. I still don't understand why. Is it based on user input, or is it because of something else?

If not, why is it not being updated? Is it out of staff?

After I make a new character, where do I start out? A dungeon? A town? Do I have to meet other people?

Hi Walter! I'll do my best to answer your questions, but if you have any more afterwards let me know ^-^

1) The ban list hasn't been updated in a while so Ralts is technically still banned, but we may be able to work something out if you really do have your heart set on Ralts.

Character species are usually banned on here to prevent the site from being oversaturated with too many of one species. For example, Eevee is usually banned quite often due to the sheer number of them that people make.

It hasn't been updated for a while because the site is very understaffed at the moment. We currently have moderator applications open in an attempt to rectify this situation.


2) You may start out wherever you choose to, as long as your character has enough energy to get to the place in question. In order to RP, you need to be in a thread with another person though so you'll probably have to meet someone else, yes.


3) There isn't a way to recover deleted posts, but I will re-donate the 5k poke you lost so you can create a new character application.

It said on the character list (https://pmd-roleplay.forumotion.org/t5237-character-species-list) "Ralts: 7". Does that anything to do with the banned list?

That list is also severely outdated. The 7 on there means there were 7 Ralts present on the site at the time of writing. I guess it has something to do with the banned list because we ban pokemon that there are higher numbers of, but that's all.

So are there less? Or are there more?

I found 7 ralts in the approved characters list, and none in the archived characters. Guess there's still 7 ralts floating around, but I don't know what that means as far as them being banned or not.

Multiple of the Ralts on the site are currently inactive so ill make an exception and delete the one that belongs to a guest user in order to free the space to let you post a Ralts character since the banned lists are really outdated. You should probably be quick though in case someone else tries to snap up a Ralts in the meantime ^^'

If Lord EV denies the application in the meantime (on the grounds of ralts being on the banned list) just ask him to message me and I'll explain for you.
