With the upcoming new games, I was wondering if we could use the new starter pokemon, Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie, as characters. It would be okay if we wait for more details on Gen 6, but I just wanna know beforehand.

I will not be allowing gen 6 Pokemon to be characters until after the release of X and Y. It is likely that even then I will postpone the allowance of gen 6 characters until about November or maybe even 2014. Please note that January 2014 will be the latest. They will at least be allowe by then.
