» Personality:
Since she was a baby, she's always had a low opinion of herself. She doesn't view herself as particularly smart or talented, and will often compare herself to others. Despite this, she'll still attempt to be kind to other Pokemon, just not herself. If they really need it, she'll do her best to make them feel better, but for the most part, will try to remain silent and in the background.
It's hard to get her to open up to anyone, but in reality, she's very dependent on other Pokemon. She'll act aloof and independent, but in reality desperately wants the approval of others. She won't show it, but any sort of rejection deeply hurts her. She'll do anything just for a sign that someone cares about her.
If you can get through to her, she'll care about you deeply. She's never had a true friend in her life, but if she makes one, she will follow them loyally. She'll be incredibly loyal to anyone who proves themselves to her, and any sort of betrayal, large or small, is unthinkable to her.
Even though she'll never admit it to herself, she's a very clever Pokemon. She can design a strategy for almost any situation she comes across. Even so, she's still very cautious, perhaps excessively. Because of this, some Pokemon might view her as a coward or a wimp, and she accepts these insults as fact.
» Likes:
She likes Music, not just singing but any sort of music, Instrumental, Vocal or otherwise. Very seldomly will she not be humming a tune, or playing an instrument, or singing.
Drawing is something she enjoys doing, despite thinking she's not very good.
Time to herself. She's not a particularly social Pokemon, and will often forego talking with others if she can just have time to herself.
She enjoys snowy weather, the muffling of sound the snow makes, and the sight of the cold, peaceful blanket it produces always manages to calm her down.
» Dislikes:
Being told what to do. She doesn't at all enjoy being ordered around, especially by people she considers her friends. She doesn't take kindly to orders and will often rebel against them.
Being forced to talk is always something that she doesn't enjoy. She isn't very social and doesn't know what to say when someone wants to talk with her, and will try to get away from the conversation as soon as she can.
She very strongly dislikes Wigglytuffs and Blissey, due to previous experiences with them, despite Wigglytuff being her final evolution, she very strongly dislikes them.
Bodies of Water such as Lakes, Rivers, or oceans. She has a deep fear of the water, and as such can't swim. She's terrified of drowning, and will try to avoid bodies of water as much as possible.
» History:
Alki didn't have a pleasant childhood. It was neglectful. Her Father was a Blissey and her mother a Wigglytuff.
For a lot of her childhood, she was mostly ignored in her family; she was never the strongest or smartest, and she never impressed. Her older brother was always a great artist, Alki's foray into art was cut short by harsh disapproval from her mother and constant taunting by her brother. Her older sister was a talented fighter, her Father taught her well, and was sent to the guild, a prodigy in the family. Alki never got much attention, when she learned Defense Curl, her sister, recently evolved, had already learned Hyper Voice. She never let her parents show how much it got to her, but it did.
Constant questions on why she couldn't be more like her brother or more like her sister always followed her around. These didn't help matters, soon she started asking herself that, and unable to come up with an answer, she concluded she wasn't as good as them. She was always in the background, avoiding fights and letting herself get pushed around. Why start fights she knew she'd lose? There was no point, she took the insults and let them hurt her, instead of fighting back.
The moves she learnt, she managed to teach herself, but she never learned how to properly fight. They lived in Pecha Forest, and one day, fed up with the constant questions and the feelings of inferiority, she decided to run away. She ran to a popular pond, with no idea where else to go. She expected her parents to look for her, but they never did. She thought that this was because they didn't care about her. She hasn't seen her parents since. Alki eventually decided to try and make something of herself, and headed into Grassveil town looking for something, anything, to do.
