| First topic message reminder :[energy: 22 - 5 = 17] Seems like a normal forest after all, but there are indeed quite a few Pecha Berries around. A lone Kecleon thought while sitting somewhere in Pecha Forest. She sighed and looked around a bit before picking up her bag. It was empty, she didnt think she'd need anything for such a place as this. She wandered over to the forest in search of some kind of entertainment, but so far it's nothing but natural forest. mhrr... Guess the explorers were right. These dungeons, they do indeed seem like normal places, but then why is it so draining when you enter them and why is it, items just happen to be lying around. as she was thinking that she heard a noise just off in the distance. Finally! Something... Hopefully... Probably should hide though. she went over to a nearby tree and shifted her color as best she could. She hasnt mastered it still. If she moved she would be seen, and she usually never takes into account her belly pattern not changing, but this time she did, she crouched to hide the pattern abit better. (( - :
anyone wanna play a game of text-based charades? lol jk

| When the Kecleon mentioned the rumors about the skull Cub imidiately felt ashamed about it. Is it really that strange for a Pokemon to want to protect themselves? He thought. The Kecleon continued and introduced herself as Yooka. Cub smiled and imidiately tried to commit the name to memory. As he did this the Piplup suddenly began to accuse him. Cub was at a loss of words from what he had said. Afraid, Cub could barely speak. I-I uhhhhh my h-helmet is from... Where was it from again? The bottom of the canyon if he rembered correctly. It was there when he woke up. But this Pokemon was asking who it came from.
A-a-a canyon I woke up in but who it came from was... Was... Suddenly his head started to burn. Cub fell on the ground and started to moan. The pain increased and he started to scream. The noise echoed in his skull a bit causing the cry to sound like a continuous discorded note. Then as quickly as it had started it ended. The pain was gone and his mind was blank but Cub continued to sob. He felt afraid but of what he couldn't remember. In the back of his mind he thought about a Pokemon but couldn't think of the name or even what it looked like.
Cub was left unaware that his scream had gotten the whole party some unwanted attention.

Getting a massive migraine trying to remember a painful memory is actually a real thing. x-x
((somwhat important ooc: Sense my character is going to be asleep for probably most of this encounter I'll control the feral Tangela for a bit, If you think you can do it better then I, which I wouldnt be surprised, lol, just say you'll do it. Feral pkmn dont actually think, they do. no thinking, only instincts. you get the idea. Go ahead and godmode, or whatever the correct term is, the tangela to fit your post, it's not my character anyway. You can try to wake Yooka or if the encounter ends quickly, I'll just 'make' her wake up. I tend to use a damage calculator for my posts but if you just wanna yolo it I can go with that.)) -Yooka the Kecleon- The cubone didn't take the Piplups question all-to-well. It started to answer but It apperently got a migraine. Yooka tuned out the cubone as it started to make rather loud noises. grr, That's sure to attract anything around us. As she got up to look around, she was near instantly covered in a cloud of... "Sleeping Pow...der." She started to warn the others but she fell to the ground, unconscious and asleep. -Feral Tangela- Hearing a noise just off a distance away, a tangela got distracted and went towards the noise. It spotted three pokemon. It shook its blue vines to spread a rather greenish cloud of powder in their general direction. It didnt get far and only covered one of the three pokemon. The tangela quickly followed it up by grabbing the sleeping pokemon and holding it in the air. It looked at the two other pokemon while it started to constrict the pokemon it was holding. (( - another long ooc:
Im only doing this aslong as Yooka is asleep. if she wakes up Im putting it all back in her perspective. Cant rp dream scenes... can I? x3)) ((ooc edits: I made a mistake describing vertually everything about it... >-> Thank god it wasnt pointed out. lol... Also, I should probably mention this, but I know everyone here couldnt know this. except yooka to some degree, she would know about them being seen at grassy plains, thats pretty much it... nothing else... - Some knowledge god, giving a hint:
Tangela can ensnare and entangle anything that moves too close to it with its vines. The vines constantly jiggle and sway, unnerving enemies and deterring herbivores that might mistake Tangela for a shrub. Tangela's vines will snap off easily and painlessly if the target pulls on them, suggesting that the ensnaring is intended to scare off potential predators. Tangela can usually be found in grassy plains.
Yooka can apparently easily beat a tangela in a 1v1 situation with the moves given on both of them, actually all the characters could easily 1v1 the tangela... constrict is uber weak for a tangela, lol. however yooka's asleep, so she cant really do anything about taking damage. She's gonna feel all this when she wakes, heheh... ^-^;; Fix'd my errors btw. hopefully it doesnt exactly change anything, which it shouldnt. Clovis couldn't help but feel a sense of self-satisfaction at the impressive way in which he had just verbally beaten down the cubone. He puffed out his chest a bit, and looked down as the cubone fell on the ground and began making groaning noises. Goodness, I'd make a good detective. Only three seconds worth of words, and he's already bawling his eyes out! Clovis' satisfaction was short-lived, however, as the fallen mon began to let out a shrill cry, prompting the piplup to cringe up and develop a slight headache himself, perhaps a form of karma for being so insensitive.
Thankfully, the cubone's screams quickly quieted down, and were replaced with quiet sobbing, and some unintelligible mumbling coming from Yooka. He hadn't the slightest clue as to just what she had said, and thus turned to face her. But before he could get a chance to ask for clarification, the kecleon was suddenly swooped up by a massive collection of vines, leading to a feral tangela at least twice his size!
The danger of the situation was immediately apparent to Clovis, and he began awkwardly backpedaling away from the tangela with his little feet. A part of him wanted to see if he could defeat the tangela with his words, like he had with the cubone, but he wasn't nearly foolish enough to try and talk down forest ferals. He was going to have to give the savage mon a good thrashing if he hoped to defend himself, and free Yooka from its vines.
While Clovis was aware that he would have a better chance if he were to convince the cubone to come to his aid, he was far too suspicious and frankly, too proud to ask him for help. Instead, the piplup continued to back up, loosen the muscles in his throat, and produce a number of short, growling chirps, which sounded far less intimidating than he thought they did.

| Cub continued to sob on the ground but as he noticed a presence looming above him. Cub stifled his sobs and flipped around to see the tangela standing next to him but still far away enough that he didn't even notice the sleeping powder. He quickly got up and scampered into a bush trying to hide from the feral Pokemon. Then he saw above where she was lying before. Yooka was wrapped in the tangela's vines. He couldn't just hide and let her die. He had to do something but what?
He heard a strange sound. Like a little bird chirping and trying to sound menacing. It might've been the mean Piplup from before trying to growl at the enemy. Dispite how cute it sounded the tangela seemed to be affected by the half growls, half chirps. Suddenly Cub heard a familiar voice speak to him from a memory long forgotten. "Look for an opening Cub! If you don't you won't get an attack in edgewise!" Cub closed his eyes and tried to rembered who said it but to no avail. Dispite not kowing who said it the Cubone clearly knew what they wanted him to do. Cub saw the opening he needed and rushed at the tangela he lowered his skull preparing an iron head attack, he jumped up, and hurtled himself tword the feral Pokemon.

I have no idea how I can add to this lol. Yooka being asleep limits vertually alot of stuff, so D&D give me some idea to add more words... oh right, could just do a DM moment, probably. I know I said I probably can't do a dream post, but I didn't get flagged by an admin or moderator about it yet. So I guess, I did something right... just waiting for a warning pm to arrive now. •w•))
-Feral Tangela- The Blue pokemon started chirping at the Tangela. It blinked for a second, and in that second the brown pokemon lunged at it with a powerful force capable of cracking a boulder. The tangela didn't expect that, dropping the green pokemon next to the brown pokemon and staggering backwards. It shot a look at the brown pokemon and planted it's feet in the ground, literally. all the while sending out vines to try and grab hold of the brown pokemon. -Yooka the Kecleon- Oddly Yooka's dream wasn't about tight spaces, but about floating through a giant rose bush. It was abruptly ended when gravity kicked in. Yet, when she opened her eyes she was now in a ruins corridor. Yooka didn't hit the ground hard, she was only about eye level with the cubone, just a soft thud as the tangela lost grip and some of its vines aswell. She could clearly be seen breathing but she's still unconscious. A few bruises could be seen here and there but nothing serious.

| To Clovis' surprise, the feral pokémon didn’t seem to be attacking or even following him, just standing still, blinking its disproportionately large eyes at him. It was too perplexed to take any sort of action, but Clovis liked to think that it was frozen with fear. He scanned his enemy, hoping to find some sort of opening or opportunity to attack, and sure enough, his wish was granted when the cubone, for whatever reason, jumped at the wild tangela and slammed into its side.
Clovis didn't know when exactly it was that the cubone had gotten up, but paid this question little mind as the cubone's own attack had given him enough of a window to perform one himself. He squinted his eyes and focused entirely on the tangela, not noticing the kecleon flying off from its vines. With his opponent facing away from him and towards the cubone, Clovis saw a huge opportunity to deliver a finishing blow from behind.
The piplup ran forward as quickly and quietly as he could, while balling up the tip of his right flipper to resemble a fist. When he was about half a meter away from the wild pokémon, he moved his right 'fist' backwards, twisting his body to create more leverage, then rapidly moved it forwards, pivoting on his left foot, to deliver a pounding right hook.

| After bashing into the Tangela Cub fell at it’s feet. The Tanglea stumbled backwards a bit before digging it’s feet into the ground. Cub stood up and held his bone club up in a defensive position. The Tangela sent vines out at Cub. The Cubone was tangled up in the middle of them and lifted up into the air and constricted just like Yooka.
The Piplup pounded the Tangela and Cub fell to the ground again. Cub ran from the Tangela leaving it to the Piplup for now. Cub saw Yooka lying on the ground nearby. So Cub ran up to her assuming the worse, but when he got close he could tell she was just sleeping. Nervous and unsure what to do. He lifted her as best he could and began shaking her to try and wake the Kecleon up.

| Yooka got up and looked around the ruins corridor. Coming across the exit she noticed she was on a mountain, Before she had time to take in the view, the ground started to shake. earthquake? She went to grab the edge of the entrance, but the sky got dark and the ground started cracking. "NO!" She yelled jolting awake being shaken by the cubone. As she yelled the word, she gave the cubone a rather hard jab to it's shoulder. Then jumped back in a fighting stance adrenaline spiking. Realizing it wasn't the tangela, she lowered her guard and yelled "where is it?" It didnt take long for her to find it.
She started to run up to it, but slowed and stopped just infront of the tangela. huh? it's out cold. just as she thought, the tangela was indeed out. Rather, it was slumped but it was still up. Hows it still standing? Oh, it ingrained itself during the fight. GAH, THE FIGHT!? How long was it!? argh.. ignoring the sudden pain, she instantly turned towards the cubone then the piplup. stunned by their accomplishment, but disappointed that she couldnt be a part of it. She turned back to the Tangela and started to search it for anything How long was I out and why do I feel so terrible... hmm, "I dont know who you two are still, but... thanks..." as she was saying all that she found a strange orb off the tangela and two green gummis... This is the second time I found these strange orbs on Ferals... I need to ask that automaton about this...
She turned towards the two others again and tossed one of the gummis to the piplup and walked over to the cubone and handed the other one to the cubone. "Sorry about the surprise attack cubone... Well you two, I found these on the tangela, take them. I dont really need them. I heard they do things other than being just candy. strange that this tangela hasnt had them itself. We should probably move before it itself wakes up." After talking and giving the gummi's she tuned out the two pokemon to get a closer look at the orb... she sighs gah, I have no idea what this is... it looks just like that other orb. shrugging, she put it in her bag. She then sat down next to a tree and sighed. Closing her eyes and leaning against it. That sucks... I was really looking forward to doing something. That dream though, I did here a rumour of some pokemon seeing things about a good, neutral, and bad future, but... no. The dream just had to be lucid. I know the color difference between sleep, poison, and paralyzing powder but, I never really been effected by them before... How could I sleep in the middle of such noise and action. I never even realized that could actually happen.

| Clovis continued pounding on the tangela for several seconds before he realized that he had beaten it out of consciousness. For whatever reason, the wild mon didn't fall down when knocked out, but rather stood, firmly planted in the ground, something which Clovis couldn't explain. Even if most of the tangela's wounds were caused by the cubone's headbutt, Clovis was still a tiny bit surprised at the fact that he had just hit another pokémon hard enough to make it faint. This was his first time actually knocking another pokémon out, even a feral, at least as far as he could remember. Regardless, Clovis puffed his chest out and backed away from his unconscious opponent, basking in the glory of his accomplishment. I have to admit, getting into fights and rescuing pokémon sure does feel good. Wait, rescuing pokémon... where is that kecleon? Clovis looked around the still-standing tangela and saw the cubone doing something with his hands to the sleeping kecleon. Because of the cubone's apparent bone affinity, Clovis immediately assumed the worst and ran over to the two of them. This fear only worsened when Yooka shouted "NO!" and punched the cubone's shoulder. But before he could arrive, intervene or think of something to shout, the cubone and kecleon seemed to have settled their differences. So Clovis stopped running towards the two of them, hoping that neither of them had seen him getting all panicky.
Clovis watched as Yooka examined the unconscious tangela, and listened as she thanked him and the cubone. Just as he was about to accept her thanks and introduce himself, he was met with a green gummi flying towards him. With less than a second to react, the piplup frantically reached out to catch it, barely making contact with it and having it bounce out of his flippers several times before he could get any substantial grip on it. He didn't say anything after that, or really pay much attention to anything at all, for fear of drawing too much attention to himself after his clumsy near-fumble.

| Cub was surprised when Yooka got up so suddenly. The jab to the shoulder didn't help. The pain was so bad that Cub though she might have bruised it. He held his jabbed shoulder as Yooka rushed off to the Tangela. Cub slowly followed behind her and when he heard Yooka's thanks he quietly mumbled. (You're welcome.) Of course he was so quiet the Cubone could barely hear himself talk much less anyone else. Then Yooka searched the Tangela and tossed the Piplup something strange and green. Then walked up to Cub and handed him one as well. When she explained what they were Cub smiled. I've never heard of gummis before. I wonder what they taste like? He decided to store the green candy like object for later.
At this point he didn't care too much about what the mean Piplup was doing but Yooka seemed distracted with something. Cub didn't know what to say to the kecleon. So when he walked up to her he simply said. My name's Cub... As the pokemon looked asleep sitting under the tree like that. He didn't know if the kecleon heard him but he thought it was best she knew his name since she already knew his.

Yooka, still sitting with her eyes closed, decided it was best to question this stuff when she got back to the guild. I cant be distracted when I'm out in a Feral infested place like this. She found out the hard way why most rookie's tend to end up fainting while coming here. She hasnt even done anything and it's drained alot out of her. The cubone walked up to her, well, she knew what it was once he told his name. Cub? Pretty bland... wait, he's still a kid, Well, at least I got one thing off my mind. Those helmets are real bone, wait... now I wonder if its someone or something elses, like is it some sort of exoskeleton? Well, cubones evolve into Marrowaks. Marrow, no, too coincidency. She opened her eyes to look at the cubone again. Perhaps his parents--... wait, now that I look at it, his skull helmet is in the shape of a marrowaks boney head. when he was trying to remember... something... he fell in pain. "Hey cub... what was your mother like?" Depending on his reaction to this question, if it ends up the same as last time or he doesnt remember, it's confirmed, but if he knows, then it's justs me being creeped and it's some sort of exoskeleton...((ooc: 7 energy, please no more -8 tangela's x-x)) - Ravio carried out 1 launched of one Pecha Forest :

| (OOC: And here I thought everyone was going to get along :p) Thankfully, no one seemed to have noticed Clovis fumbling with the gummi, so after a few seconds of awkwardly standing still, Clovis looked at the gummi. Green wasn't his favorite flavor, but he nonetheless put it in the sack he had brought for pecha berries, all the while hoping it wouldn't make his bag sticky. Yooka and the cubone seemed to be focused on each other. He overheard the cubone say its name, 'Cub'. He supposed that the name was accurate, if nothing else. Then Yooka asked about Cub's mother. That was a question Clovis also wanted an answer to. The piplup opened his ears; looking around the forest and whistling softly to make sure his eavesdropping wasn't obvious. - vonSteakhand carried out 4 launched of one Pecha Forest :

| Cub listened to Yooka and when he heard her ask about his mom he gave the Kecleon a blank stare. What was she like? He had no memories of her. Nothing that she may have owned. Do I even have a mother? Is that possible? No matter how he tried to think of that as a possibility he just couldn't think of that as the truth. He had one but just didn't remember what she looked like. No I don't. I don't even remember what she looked like. Cub said that in an almost painfully causal voice. He looked behind him and saw the mean Piplup not so casually whistling then remembered something. I think I remembered her for a moment back before the Tangela attack but... If it wasn't obvious already to the others he no longer knew what Pokemon he had seen. He didn't even know if it had been his mom. When he stopped talking he suddenly felt more self-conscious about it and started to shy away from the subject. A-anyway you said we need to keep moving right? Not waiting for a response Cub moved to leave the clearing. - Leon Blaze carried out 1 launched of one Pecha Forest :

I'll need to look into that again. and for future rolls you can condense it to just 1 roll, put a number in-between the first part and the [/roll] similar to {first="second"}3{/fourth} ))
Yooka nodded to the cubone, she sighed "Yea... we should get moving" as she got up she thought He doesnt remember his-- cut short by a Pecha berry falling on her head. huh... She looked up just to notice the tree she leaned on was a Pecha tree. About one and a half meters above her, was an aipom. It was chuckling, but then it suddenly frowned and pointed towards the piplup. She watched the Aipom dash off, before wiping off the dirt from the Pecha Berry and storing it in her bag for a later time. She looked at the piplup. He was just whistling a tune. She shook her head and looked at the cubone who was already leaving. The piplup looks fine. hm... but I dont know much of piplups, I cant doubt he can handle the forest since he got this far. The Cubone however, has a case of amnesia. I wonder why... She heard the tangela start to stir, and also heard a hoothoot nearby. Argh. It's nearing night, and the tangela is waking, and who knows what else is nearby... "Hey! Piplup, we're leaving, it's gonna get dark soon. I need to get that cubone, you coming?" as she was saying that to the piplup. She noticed a Nidorino and a Nidorina in the distance. From this distance it looked like they were just a couple enjoying the forest. Yooka saw the tangela un-ingrain itself, but Yooka was already on top of it and gave it a nice jab to its face. "Nope" then started walking off, towards the cubone, who was now just barely out of view. (( - ooc:
If astonish, critical hits, its a 2hko, but I just wanted to put a TF2 engineer reference in here, so I yoloed it. :3 The Nido roll's poison still effects the piplup, and sense the rule add 10 to the energy cost, and if that number is so-in-so higher then your character's level it gets that effect. for poison, 10 levels higher is normal poison but if its 20 its the deadly kind. I can't believe I rolled a Pecha Berry, Divine Luck if I say so myself. Who better to give the Pecha Berry than that Wild Aipom roll. I need to thank that aipom at some point, If it gets rolled again sometime in the future. lol))

For whatever reason, the headache that Clovis had felt earlier seemed to have returned. Except that this time, it was twice as strong, and accompanied by a sweat-inducing sensation of burning. He could still hear Yooka and Cub's brief conversation, but it took a backseat to the sudden, splitting pain in his forehead. He kept whistling, hoping to alleviate his headache, but it didn't seem to be working.
The kecleon looked at Clovis, and told him, in a number of words, to get moving. He almost snapped back with a retort, but he felt, strangely, too tired to be snide. He just nodded his head and trudged on along with the kecleon, starting to breathe with progressively more difficulty with every step. He blinked his eyelids. They felt unusually heavy. So heavy, in fact, that his first blink lasted for at least three seconds before he could get used to their sudden weight. In those three seconds, if Yooka had done something interesting, such as beating up a tangela, he would have missed it.
As Clovis followed Yooka, the condition of his body only seemed to get worse. Every single part of him seemed to be aching at this point, particularly his stomach. Oh his poor stomach! Perhaps it was something in his lunch, but for whatever reason the piplup felt as though his very intestines were in the process of being digested! But just as soon as his stomach began to burn, his legs felt as though they were failing him. Merely following Yooka started to feel less like a simple task and more like an accomplishment. With a weary feeling sweeping him, and legs about to give way, Clovis could only do one thing: call out to one of the strangers. He shouted, "Yooka!" and then panted for a second, exausted merely from calling out her name. "Slowww..." he slurred the last part of the word unintentionally, and repeated himself. "Ssslow down, please." His voice sounded unusually desperate and pleading, and he had to take a quick breath in between each word. This pained him both physically and mentally- it wasn't often that he begged.
