| "Aaron isn't going to save you this time!" Camroth grunt in pain as the Machop kicked the Deino's gut, causing him to collapse from the pain.. "It's time that you learn your place, meat!" The Deino received another kick in his gut, causing more damage due to the Lairon's steel legs. "We won't tolerate any more disrespect from you anymore." A Banette floats to Camroth's ear, whispering his sinister voice to it. "And the best part about all of this? You won't do anything about it. You wouldn't dare try to defend yourself against us. You're too much of a girl to hurt us."
Camroth could only cower in fear, panting heavily as his underbelly starts to flare due to all the kicking he had to endure. In truth, he didn't know what do to in this situation. Usually what will happen is that he'll try to escape, or let his brother handle the bullies. He felt powerless here. Unable to do anything other than just accept the beating. However, he refuse to get down their level. He refuses to attack them. It wouldn't be right, and it proves that he's the bigger Pokemon than those Bullies. Still, He wants help. He wants it to stop. He has to get someone's attention. "H-HEL-GAH!" Camroth cried out as the Machop kicked the Deino again to interrupt his cry for help. "No one is going to help, You pathetic excuse for a Pokemon! Now take a beating like a REAL Pokemon would." Camroth continued to lay there, allowing the Machop and the Lairon to beat the Deino down further. The Banette just watches onward, smiling malevolently.

| Jaden Lacroix the SnivyEnergy: 21 | Color: #00cc33 | Level: 07 Hmm, the effects of the joy ribbon were certainly taking a lot longer to kick in than he expected. He had wrapped the ribbon around his neck in attempt to become stronger, but maybe he was just not training enough? Did he have to do more than train his mind? Ah well, not, it was not really that big of a deal. He was confident that so long as he had his wits about him, he would make it through any situation.
Today was a beautiful day, though the sky be clouded with darkness. He had grown used to the lack of a sun by now, though he found that he had to eat significantly more often due to the inability to photosynthesize without the sun. In fact, he was just munching on a snack as he entered Rainfront. It was nothing too major, just a small fruit to satiate the growing hunger.
His tail waved behind him as he found his mind wandering back to the day he went into the depths of Waterfall Cave. The battle had been a harsh one, but he had managed to make it out alive. He stopped himself as he gazed up at the clouds above as it seemed to fully register what he had done...or at least helped with. That strange group of pokemon certainly had something a lot worse in store for their captives than just detaining them. Who knew how many more pokemon would have fell victim to them if he and the rest of the group had not done anything to stop them?
A cocky smirk reached his lips. Huh, he had quite the story to tell Garnet and Jade whenever he found them again! He wondered what kind of adventures they were on? Just how much was he missing, or were they the ones missing out? His attention was pulled away from his little world towards a cry of what seemed to be for help. He blinked, what in the blue blazes was going on?
Feeling quite brave, after his new found confidence boost, he decided to check it out. He made haste in following the sound to find a three strange pokemon. A banette, a lairon and a machop seemed to be-oh dear! They were beating up a poor little deino! Immediate sympathy for the deino rose within him, but the desire to take action came like a tidal wave. He HAD to do something!
While he felt as if he should do something, what could he possibly do? Banettes and lairon were relatively strong and that machop did not look like he was messing around to Jaden. One arm curled under the other that reached up rub his chin in thought. He needed an idea. A distraction perhaps? They looked to be pretty intent on beating the deino. He could not exactly charge in there all high and mighty and scream for them to stop at the top of his lungs. That would just end up in him getting hurt. Besides, when was the last time politely asking someone to stop bullying worked?
Never.
Finally, an idea surfaced. It was a blatant lie, but perhaps the three bullies were not too familiar with the force if they decided to act like this. He took a deep breath to calm his nerves. He had helped disband a cult, surely he could do this too! He approached, head held high with confidence and a look of utter disgust upon his expression.
"What is this nonsense?!" he demanded with a glare in the banette and the machop's direction. His arms crossed stubbornly as one foot gently tapped the ground as if he were impatient. "Surely you two must be lacking of a brain, if my father were to hear about this! You would surely be Thunder Waved into the next century and put in jail. Stop this right now, or else I will call upon him to bring justice to you twisted oppressors!" he gave a slight pause to let them process the threat.
"Unless you are too nit-witted to recognize the child of the sheriff when you see him?" his nose tilted up as his eyes narrowed. He meant serious business it seemed, but it was all a lie. He had no father, but the bullies did not know that.

| How long has it been since the beating? Three minutes? Six? He couldn't tell. All he could do is lay there and get pummeled. "You had this coming for a long time, Camroth. You shouldn't been an thorn in our side!" The banette Chuckle, summoning a nail to place Camroth under a curse. "Hopefully this lesson will teach you not to be a bothersome Pest." The Nail suddenly floats towards the Ghost type's head. The moment it was about to pierce the Banette's skull, a voice suddenly shouted behind them.
"What is this nonsense?!"
The three Bullies stopped what they were doing and looks over at the Source of the voice, only to see a Snivy... Wait, was it a girl or a boy? It was hard to tell just by looking at the grass type, and the voice isn't helping them figuring it out either. How did it find them anyway, The Banette thought that they had the area they're in secured. Even Camroth, despite struggling to cry in pain. is struggling to figure out if the voice was feminine or not. He wishes he wasn't naturally blind, otherwise he would see what this Mysterious Pokemon would look like.
What this Snivy Said Pokemon said next made the Banette glare it, and the other two Pokemon look at each other with worry.
"Surely you two must be lacking of a brain, if my father were to hear about this! You would surely be Thunder Waved into the next century and put in jail. Stop this right now, or else I will call upon him to bring justice to you twisted oppressors!
There was a small silent. No one responded to the Grass type, not even Camroth who worries that the Pokemon who's helping the Deino would get hurt. After the Snivy said its peace, it was the Banette turn to speak. "Tch. I waited this long for this, I'm not about to have it ruined by a... Uh..." What gender is this Pokemon? It was agitating that he can't figure it out. It's a girl right? She has to be a girl. Girl, or not, That's how he'll refer to this Snivy. "Uh... By a girl! Yeah, that's it! By a girl who doesn't even look that strong!
A girl? Camroth didn't expect this Pokemon to be a girl. Or maybe they just taking guesses? Nonetheless, he prays to Arceus that this Snivy had a plan that get the bullies off his back."

| Jaden Lacroix the SnivyEnergy: 21 | Color: #00cc33 | Level: 07 Ooooh dear...they weren't intimidated. This was certainly unfortunate. There was no way he would be able to take these bullies on by himself and the deino certainly did not look to be in the shape to defend himself. He kept up the condescending appearance as he snorted as the bully's words. His empty threat had just bounced off of them, perhaps he could use something with a bit more truth to back himself up?
"Do I really need to place an outlaw notice upon you two? You are obviously disrupting the peace around here. Do you know who would come after you if you were to continue your ways? My father is a wealthy mon, it would be a shame if Sova of Team Sentima himself came chasing after your sorry tails. I hear that he lacks the ability to show mercy as well..." More name dropping, at least he was more familiar with Sova. He had been with the glaceon when he had deconstructed that dastardly cult just to find that he was actually a pretty high ranked explorer. He had no idea how Sova performed his missions against outlaws really, but the rescue of the unfortunate little skiddo had turned out...less than fortunate for those who supported the cult.
"Lay even a finger upon me or that deino and you will most certainly regret it." He narrowed his eyes as he tightened his crossed arms. He meant business. He had no idea if Sova would even take that mission or do it because Jaden asked him to, but he needed an emergency eject button. He was normally not the type to just drop names, but as of right now he just needed to intimidate these bullies enough to get them to leave.
As he waited for their response, he was already brewing up a Plan B. If this fails, there would be but one option left, goad the bullies into following him. If he could avoid them for long enough, then the deino might be able to get away and seek medical attention. He did not know just how long he would be able to run or if he would even out speed these powerful pokemon, but he could not just sit by and watch a pokemon be kicked around like this!

| The two bullies pales at the Snivy's words, while the Banette growled in annoyance. "H-hey... we didn't ask to be Outlaws, Alaric. You just said we needed to teach the Dragon type a lesson." The Machop pointed out to the Banette, whose name is revealed to be Alaric. "H-he's right, Alaric. I think we're overdoing it." They were right, as much as Alaric hated to admit it. They were probably going too far with beating Camroth. The last he needed is branded an outlaw. "Tch... Alright, you win stupid Grass type. This isn't worth being an Outlaw over." He look over at the other two Bullies and motion them to come with him. The all went past Jaden to leave the area, with Alaric giving him a glare before he left.
Camroth sighed in relief. While the pain haven't stopped, at the very least he could let it settle down by laying on his sides. He was in pain for so long. Each kick he experienced was like a sharp rock breaking any bones in his body. He wouldn't be surprised if they did break his bones. All of this stopped, all because of this Snivy girl. Gratitude isn't enough to express how grateful he was to this Stranger. He wanted to do more. "T-thank... You..." The Deino Murmur. his voice cracking as he is on the verge of tears. Despite this, he held the tears back, trying his best to look like he was a strong Pokemon. That is what his brother would have wanted, right? To look confident and strong, even though he's a pacifist, even though he had to endure all the pain. Yet, he wants to cry. He wants to let out all the emotion onto the snivy and tell him how scared he was, how he plead to Arceus that he wanted the pain to stop. "...I...I'm fine now..." He said, his voice betraying his words.

| Jaden Lacroix the SnivyEnergy: 21 | Color: #00cc33 | Level: 07 He withheld a smirk of success as the color seemed to drain from two of the horrid pokemon's faces. The machop spoke up, obviously backing out of the deal. Alaric had the right idea in Jaden's mind, though Jaden would have never taken up the offer to begin with unless it was someone truly deserving. As far as he knew, the deino was innocent. Innocent until proven guilty. The snivy crossed his arms tightly as he tapped a foot, his condescending and cocky glare staring the bullies down as they spoke among each other. The apparent friend of Alaric seemed to agree. The banette did not seem to be too happy as it threw an insult in his direction. Stupid? Quite the contrary, he was the one fooling them.
His smirk grew as an eye brow raised. The trio left. He held himself in position, careful that the bullies would not turn around and simply attack from behind in a false departure. He resisted the urge to giggle to himself. His plan had worked! It actually worked! He knew it would work, but that did not make it any less thrilling!
His tail gave a happy wave as his leafy hands curled into a double fist pump. His silent moment of celebration was interrupted, however, as the deino that had been bullied spoke up. He was thanked! While he normally would have been over joyed to hear such words, now was not the time to simply brush it off and fish for a bigger catch.
The deino said that he was fine, but it was quite obvious that he was not. The joyful mood the snivy had felt before quickly faded, as his arms relaxed to his sides once more. A more down trodden expression dominating his face. The deino could not see his expression, he knew that, there was no need to hide it.
"I'm fine now." The dragon type had said. Jaden had spoken those words before. They were lies, dark brambles that desperately tried to parade themselves as scarlet roses. He had uttered those words to Garnet and Namataki before, but each time they had called him out. There was no way anyone could just be "fine" after something like that.
The deino's voice was not the only one to betray it. The beaten and battered body of the dark type exposed the bruises for what they were. The snivy crossed his arms once more as the tale his body told lacked the language of confidence it had once given earlier. The snivy approached the deino with a shake of his head. Should he humor him? He himself had always insisted that he was fine, even when Garnet knew for a fact that he was not fine. The charmander would even slap him upside the head after the fourth or fifth time for the lie.
...No, he would not go through that mess with a stranger. He would not tell the deino what he was and was not. If the deino felt he needed to insist upon being fine, then he would allow the bramble to convince itself that it was a flower of beauty. After a small silence, the snivy spoke, "Can you stand?" he asked.
The snivy thought for a brief moment before he asked another question for the strange dragon type that insisted itself upon being healthy, "Is there anyone you personally know and trust that resides in Rainfront? Preferably nearby."

| When asked that he could stand, Camroth Nods his head. "Y-yes.... I-I need time to rest..." Then Jaden asked another question regarding anyone he knows and trust personally. He should tell the grass type abouthis parents, but his mind quickly focused on his brother. The one who always protected him. The one who always there for Camroth when he needed him most. Yet, his brother, Aaron, isn't in rainfront town anymore. He's in the Grassveil guild, doing whatever he's doing to get himself stronger. Camroth was alone... scared, hurt. Without Aaron, he feels like he has no chance to defend himself... he was screwed. His tears quickly overwhelm the Deino the more he thought about Aaron. "A-aaron..." At that point, he couldn't contain himself anymore and burst into tears.
"Thank you! Thank you so much! It was awful, They wouldn't stop, and It feels like they broke every single bone in my body! I felt so sick to my stomach... I was in so much in pain, I was so scared... Y-you stopped it... You made them go away..." Camroth continue to cry, praising the Snivy for his heroic effort to save him. The Deino has to reward the Snivy something. Anything as long as it's reasonable. Praising the grass type isn't enough.
Camroth eventually started to take some deep breaths, collecting and stopping himself from crying too much. His voice was cracked, but he doesn't " I'm sorry for crying like that... I look like a big baby huh? Just like Alaric said..." Camroth looks down... "Just like he said I can't do anything to protect myself... Cause I'm a pacifst... and I either run, or endure them beating me.... There's nothing I can do beyond that."

| Jaden Lacroix the SnivyEnergy: 21 | Color: #00cc33 | Level: 07 The dark type assured the snivy that standing was a feasible option after some time to gather his energy. To the snivy's fortune, it seemed as if the Deino did know somebody that might be of assistance. The snivy's tail gave a wave as he quickly inspected the wounds from afar. The deino was certainly hurt, while he doubted it was anything life threatening, Arceus forbid any internal damage, it still needed some sort of treatment.
Suddenly, the dragon burst into tears, odd considering it seemed as if the deino species had no visible eyes. He found himself being praised and paraded as if he were a hero, a warm feeling within spread throughout his body. He stood a little taller, as if he had someone to impress though the deino was not capable of seeing him. The deino began to take deep breaths, struggling to breathe with the raw emotion that he expressed it seemed.
The deino apologized and began to degrade himself suddenly. The snivy then learned an interesting little tidbit of information about the deino. A pacifist? He had never heard of a Deino being a pacifist. He could recall many tales of Deinos and their evolutions being savage in combat, while brave and valiant, all who came into their path were torn into two or even three. While Jaden could respect the ideology of a pacifist, he could not find himself agreeing with it. There was always going to be a time and a place for a fight, unavoidable even in plenty of situations. Sure there was probably some magical word out there that could make any situation's problems go away, but the matter and odds of finding them were a completely different story.
Jaden shook his head, "Don't worry about that. Where is this Aron? Do you know? What is their name or is that their name?" he asked. If he could find and deliver the deino to an aron of some sort. He had confused the words of the deino to be a specific species of pokemon. He knew some pokemon often preferred to be called by their species name rather than their real name. Some pokemon didn't even have names. He allowed the deino to take his time in making any move to rise, as he would not be forcing the deino to do anything it was not comfortable with.

| Camroth shook his head at Jaden's question. It was true that "Aaron" sounds somewhat similar to "Anon", and there has been Pokemon confusing his brother's name with the species. Aaron however, doesn't mind it. He actually have a good chuckles about it. "Aaron... is my brother. A... Deino like me." The Deino corrected. "H...He said he... visiting town today..." Camroth sigh, thinking back on how to Reward the Grass type for her heroic effort. In truth, he doesn't have a slightest clue on how to show how much he appreciates the girl for saving him, despite his praises from earlier. He thought about being Snivy's personal assistant, but does she truly needed one? for all he knew, this Grass type had settled down in town and isn't really doing anything extraordinary.
In fact, he knows little about this Pokemon. Who was she? What is it that she do? "W...Who are you, If... you don't mind me asking? Are you... An explorer?" he asked, Slowly, but surely getting to his feet. He was stable enough to stand on all of his paws, but might need a clutch to get him back home. He couldn't wait to go home, go to his bed and just collapse. Maybe Eats some left over Pecha berry pie while he's at it.

| Jaden Lacroix the SnivyEnergy: 21 | Color: #00cc33 | Level: 07 The dinosaur-like Pokemon attempted to stand, weak but it was an improvement as well as a sign that things were going to be alright. The sign may have been a false hope, but Jaden was one to fall for false hopes again and again. The serpent listened to the dragon type as he was corrected upon the identity of Aaron. The name was not of another species of Pokemon, but the title of the brother their mother had given them.
He moved in to support the deino, as it looked like the walk would be quite a difficult one for his state. Jaden certainly hoped nothing had been broken or damaged too much. There was no avoidance of the fact that he was hurt, but the hope that he could recover was certainly high.
The deino requested his identity. He had entirely forgotten to introduce himself! That was certainly a priority in case things happened to go wrong. He spoke with eloquence as he began to introduce himself, "I am not of the Exploration Team variety, although I have certainly considered that option. My name is Jade Lacroix. I am a wandering snivy currently. Ask what you please, I don't mind it at all!" he gave a smile despite the inability for the deino to see it. He hoped the deino could hear the friendliness in his tone enough to make up for it.
"Which way is he? We should probably get there fast...What's your name?"He asked. It was probably a good idea to encourage speech. It would not be good if the deino passed out right then and there. There was no way Jaden would have been able to continue if he flat passed out. He would have to go and get help from a bigger and stronger pokemon, which would involve having to leave the deino's side.
That plan was just not optimal.

| "Jade? That's a beautiful name." Camroth commented. Fitting for a grass type like her. If Camroth was honest? He wanted to spend more time with this Pokemon, to learn more about her. She's a very interesting Pokemon, and the Deino struggles to make friends anyway. While all of that goes though his mind, Camroth and Jade work together to get him moving, slowly taking their time to leave the place where Camroth was brutally beaten.
"M-my brother... s-should be at my house. East of here. A lot of Pokemon told me that it has sign saying... uh.... "Vetere resident?" I think it was? Sorry I couldn't be much help." Camroth looks down. He wasn't in a huge hurry to evolve, but at the same time, he wish he did so he could be able to see better. He especially wanted to see what this grass type looked like.
"So uh... my name is Camroth." Camroth replied back. It's a strange name, no doubt. But a very unique one at that. "Umm.... are you settling here? A-at least for now?" Camroth asked. "Because I wanna... repay you for helping me" Camroth gulp, a bit nervous asking what he want. "I know it's gonna be a while to get healed... but I... feel awful not giving you at least something in return."

| Jaden Lacroix the SnivyEnergy: 21 | Color: #00cc33 | Level: 07 Camroth? That was a relatively powerful name in Jaden's opinion. The snivy allowed the deino to speak as he led on. Hm, Vetere Resident? What was a Vetere? He supposed he would find out soon enough, but for now, he would have to just find wherever it was they needed to go.
"Thank you," he responded to the compliment towards his name, "No I am not planning on staying. There is no need to reward me, I just know how it feels to be uh, the butt of abuse to say the least." Should he elaborate? He was not sure. It's not that he was nervous about sharing more intimate details about himself, it was just a matter of whether or not the situation had called for it.
Despite his hesitation, he decided to let his heart speak, "I've known plenty like those three. My mothers were not really accepted as a true union by the locals, so me coming around was not accepted by the others. I know what it's like to be the victim and it is especially worse when you know nobody is going to come to your rescue."

| Camroth listened to the Snivy, expressing her thanks, as well as telling him that she isn't interested in a reward. Surely she was just being modest, be he isn't going to push her to be rewarded, It's her choice after all. It's a shame that the snivy isn't staying, however. Cam would love to hang out with this Pokemon more. The best he can do in order to hang out with her is to be an adventurer himself. Yet, how can Camroth be an adventurer if he won't even defend himself? And even if he does, he can't just neglect Jade's feelings on him traveling with her. Even if she said yes, that would mean she's fighting all of their battles on her own. He would only be a nuisance. Camroth mentally sighed, he was thinking too fast and too hard. He barely even know this Pokemon, nor does she know the Deino. He would have to spend a lot of time with Jade to consider traveling with her.
Jade suddenly pulled Camroth out of his deep thoughts, explaining to the Deino that her mother, nor jade herself was accepted by the locals. As a result, they seemed to be victims of many abuses, and were never rescued. "That's... awful..." Camroth said gloomily. "Why? Why wouldn't they accept you guys? What reason do they have to treat you the way they do?" Camroth ask in a genuinely curious tone.

| It seemed that either the Deino had missed his plural, assumed it to be a mistake, or just genuinely thought that it was not the cause of the problems he had encountered. Either way, Jaden was willing to elaborate, "I have two mothers rather than one. The area we lived in wasn't at all tolerant of their union and decision to bear a child with the assistance of a ditto. The children I'd imagine had picked up on their parents' disapproval for mine and decided to treat me with the same amount of respect as my mothers."
His hands crossed over one another behind his back as Camroth did not seem as if he were about to fall anytime soon. He would gladly keep the conversation along, however, as he knew that the silence could have been just as deadly as words when it was not desired.
The snivy would continue to perpetuate the conversation so long as Camroth had expressed interest, "It's a silly reason really, but again, we were all hatchlings at the time. It was likely that they were still in that phase where their parents were all-knowing and always right. It did not help that their parents did not establish proper techniques to teach them that what they did was not at all acceptable though."

| Camroth seemed surprised when the Snivy mentioned she had two mothers. It would explain why she never mentioned a father in her story. Nonetheless, it isn't uncommon to see two Pokemon of the same gender to fall in love with each other, but it isn't something to look down on. Heck, He himself is a bisexual, so saying otherwise is like preaching water while drinking wine. "It isn't right! Why should they look down on you, or your mothers like that? What's wrong with love like that?" Camroth snapped back, causing the pain to flare back for a moment and making him to wobbly. He stop his outcry for a moment to calm, and steady himself. "That's what I hate about this world... once you're the odd one out of the bunch, if you're unskilled in anything, Those Bigots look down on you, and kick you while your down over, and over, and over. Who cares if two Female love each other? Why should you suffer because they hate that idea in the first place?"
Camroth shake his head, sighing. "I'm... Sorry. hearing stuff like that makes me so enraged..." Camroth Hesitated for a moment, but he eventually wrap his head around the Snivy for a few second before letting go for a small quick hug.
