Shiny things?

Rouge watched the aquatic Pokemon run off. Why did it come up to him in the first place? and why did it want these shiny stones so bad? Rouge had pulled another coin from a small hollow area of his skull helmet. Were they really worth something to these Pokemon? and were they worth enough for Pokemon to be mean enough to push others and take them? This was a curious object indeed if it caused so behavior in some but no reaction in others. Rouge sighed and put it back before sitting at the ponds edge. The pond was nice to drink from, cool like the mountain water he had enjoyed so much. Civilized Pokemon are weird, Rouge thought to himself, wanting something so insignificant. Perhaps the next Pokemon he met would be a little nicer? or perhaps all the nice Pokemon he met were the same way, just hiding it? Rouge sighed again and looked across the pond. Maybe the village teacher was right... the world is kill or be killed. Consume or be consumed. Survival wasn't hard in this area, plenty to eat and drink, but what of happiness? This was deeply confusing the young cubone. at least he got some experience talking.

Niracamda watched the Cubone repeat her nickname. She figured her full name would have been to difficult for him. She was wondering where he came from. Did he live in a dungeon maybe? Maybe he spoke a different language? It was hard to tell, but considering he didn't know what poke was, it seemed more likely he lived away from civilization.

The Houndour glanced at Rougebone confused when he started asking her questions. She had no clue how to answer the questions. She didn't know what he wanted to learn. Did he want to learn about Grassveil? Did he want to learn how to speak? "What do you want to learn?" She asked in a slower and friendly tone.

Well she understood he said learn at least, though those questions may have been too difficult to convey for the time being. Learning to speak better is always a good option, though learning more about grassvale isn't a bad idea either. Rouge pondered for a moment maybe just asking to learn would be a bad idea, she was friendly but more than likely had questions of her own. Perhaps a trade of information would be best, so they both could have a chance to get questions answered.

"L-le-ea-ar-n s-pe-ea-k b-et-te-er. w-wi-ll a-an-nsw-er q-qu-es-sti-io-ns y-yo-u-rs." Rouge spoke, once again hoping to convey his message properly. He still wasn't quite sure about their grammar as they seemed to have a slightly different sentence structure to what he was used too.

There were a few things Niracamda was wondering about, but she didn't want to ask the Cubone her questions. She had a bit of difficulty understanding the Pokemon, and had to think about his words at times. She understood what he was trying to tell her. "It will take some time to learn, but I would not mind helping you." She spoke in a slow tone. "There are some things I am curious about. You are not from around here, are you?" She asked. She hoped it wasn't rude to ask such things. She did want to help Rougebone.

Rouge shook his head no, he was not from around here. Taking a moment to think to himself, rouge tried to formulate the best possible way to convey his weird journey. He thought about several ways before deciding on one, it would be simple and relatively easy for him to say, but should convey the message as clearly as possible. Rouge took a small breath before speaking.

"F-fa-ar a-awa-ay. s-sma-a-all t-tr-ri-ib-e.... e-ex-xil-le-d, a-a-lo-ne. l-lo-s-st s-spe-ea-ak. l-lur-r-rn a-ag-ai-n." he stated as best he could, his voice was starting to feel a little horse, but not bad enough it would prevent him from speaking for the time being. Though he would need to be careful about his word choice should he need to explain the exiled part.
