» Personality:To others, Rook is silent and hateful, coming off as cruel and serious at times. He can come off as cruel in conversation, and is rather fond of the phrase "actions speak louder than words." In battle, he prefers to hit fast and hard, wanting to end the battle as quickly as possible. He can brag sometimes when he wins, but hates losing. His personality never got him any friends, so friendship isn't something he knows much of. Although as bad as he seems, he's not that much of a jerk. Behind his emotional barrier, he's pretty relaxed, as much as he hates to admit it. Even though his past has told him that all pokemon aren't nice, he has a hard time comprehending the fact that not all of them are bad.
» Likes: Silence: Rook lived in a house in the woods, so he grew up liking the silence around him. When he's not having a good day or is just frustrated, he usually heads off to somewhere silent and peaceful to calm himself.
Battling: He loves to battle. in fact, it's his favorite hobby. battling also helps him take his mind off of things that had been bothering him. He practices his moves when he has the time and space to do it.
Adventures: Surprisingly, Rook likes going on small adventures. Traveling to different places helps take his mind off of things, not to mention the fact that there's also the chance of finding rare things to keep and sell.
Family: Rook has a small soft spot for family. If he comes across a family that, for example, had their child kidnapped, he will end up helping out the family with their deed. These kinds of things remind him of his own family, which is why he helps out others: because he doesn't want the same thing that happened to him to happen to other families
» Dislikes: Crowds: Growing up in the woods caused him to dislike being around large crowds. He usually avoids being in any city, town, or shop when theres a lot of people around. because of this, he usually does all of his store business in the evening, when there's less people.
Friends: Even though not all pokemon are bad, he still refuses to believe that. Because of this, he tries as much as he can not to make any sort of friends during his travels. Any that he does make, he tries to ignore the memory of, although it doesn't really work well
Criminals: In a sense, he can also act like a sort of freelance cop. he does not like the act of somebody going around doing what they please and getting away with it, and will willingly hunt down a criminal if needed.
Leaders: Rook doesn't like having, or being with a leader. He doesn't like the prospect of being told what to do, and would much rather be doing the telling, if he isn't doing things by himself.
» History: Rook wasn't always cruel and hateful. When he was younger, he was rather playful and happy. He lived with his mother, a cacturne, and his father, a bisharp. One day, he got lost in the woods around his home, and came across a gengar that went by shade. Shade had seemed really nice when he met him, and had helped him find his way back home. However, not two days later, after heading back home after taking a small walk, he found his house in shambles and his parents dead, with the same gengar, along with a few other pokemon, walking away from the destruction, a sly grin on his face. He had ran towards him in hopes to get after him, but he had disappeared, seemingly from the move teleport. filled with hatred, he ran off, vowing to find the genger that had killed his parents. After a few months, his journey had landed him in the town of Grassveil.....
