» Why do you want to adopt them?: Someone said there were three Pokemon up for adoption that he wanted to be rivals for one of his characters so I decided to look at them. I was not expecting to actually like any of them. I did end up liking Kimori though.
She acts friendly and polite but deep down she has a hard time trusting others. She still tries to make friends even with this. She gets grumpy when tired or hungry. She is polite.(None of my charries has that) She loves to fight yet she is not good and tends to lose a lot. So she has a good fighting spirit. She does seem to see herself as weak. Since she hates betrayal, I'm guessing she is pretty loyal towards her friends. She doesn't like cold places so it could get interesting if she went to one. Her distrust of Shuckle can also be interesting (especially when I ask brook to rp with Giles the Shuckle). From what I can tell from the threads she is social and talkactive. Exploring really excites her. She has heard a lot of things about exploring from her mother. Her history is interesting. Her mother didn't want her to explore at first because her dad died exploring. When she finally agreed, she learned Kimoni a few things. But when Kimori was starting to explore, other Pokemon betrayed her and stole from her. I feel like I could polish her personality out more.

» Sample of roleplay: Kimori was wondering where she would ever find a partner to join the guild with. As she was doing so, she was aimlessly walking around Grassveil. She also had to get some training done. She still had to get stronger. The Treecko wasn't paying much attention to were she was walking and bumbed into a Pokemon. The Treecko staggered back and saw she had bumbed into a Combusken. "Oh my, I'm so sorry. I wasn't looking were I was going."

The Combusken looked at her. He didn't seem angry. "Oh, it's fine. Just watch out next time. Why are you walking around like this though? Are you looking for someone?" Kimori hesitated a bit before answering. She was not sure if she could trust this Pokemon. "Well, I want to join the guild and explore a lot of new places. I am not that strong though and I am wondering where to train or were to find a partner. I really want to join an exploration team. That is my dream." Her voice gave away her excitement. The Combusken smiled at that. "Well, how about we spar for a bit? I want to see how strong you are." Kimori was surprised by that but it also made her more excited. "That sounds great. I would love that."

The Combusken was content with her answer. He took Kimori a little outside the village. There seemed to be a small pond a bit further. "Right, lets get started then. You can make the first move." The Combusken said as he readied himself. Kimori didn't let him say that a second time. She ran over to the Combuskin and tried to pound him with her tail. The Combusken dodged it with ease. Kimori tried to pound the Combusken with her tail again. This time the Combusken countered with a double kick. He easily overpowered the Treecko. Kimori got send a bit further away. She was not planning to give up yet. The Treecko was impressed by how strong this Pokemon was. She was hoping she could be strong like him one day. Before Kimori could attack again, the Combusken got to her this time and hit her hard on her head with a Peck attack. The Treecko fell down and grabbed her head in pain.

The Combusken stepped back. "You still seem to have a lot to learn. You should not just rush into fights blindly. The best thing to do is wait for the right moment to attack. You should remember that well, young one." Kimori looked up at the Combusken. After hearing what he said she wondered how old he was. Still, she did learn something from this fight. He was right. Kimori got up and bowed a bit. "Thank you, sir. I feel like I learned something from our fight. I will try my best to get better." Even though she lost, Kimori seemed pretty happy.

The Combusken was happy to see that the girl would listen to his advice. "As long as you remember that, you will do well. Now, I have to go home. I hope to see you again somewhere in the future. I would love to see how much stronger you would have become." Kimori had wanted to learn more from the fire type but it could not be helped. She also hoped they would meet again. The fight might have been a bit one sided but next time she might be stronger and have a better chance. The idea made her a bit excited. She would keep trying to get stronger and improve.
