A first encounter

Niracamda had left her home not too long ago. She kind of missed her family already. As she passed a town she somehow reached what could only be what people would call a beach. The shiny houndour was impressed by the view. The sea was stretching endlessly, it was as if there was no end to the water. Niracamda sat down in the sand and stared at the distance. The breeze felt nice and she liked the smell that seemed to be coming from the sea.

It didn't take long before the sun started to set, coloring the sky in all kinds of colors. "It's so beautiful.... I never imagined it would look like this. It's much better than that Wartortle told me." The Houndour kept sitting there, mesmerized by the scene before her. She was feeling a bit lonely though. She wished there was someone to enjoy the scene with her.

Niracamda looked a bit surprised at the Absol as he spoke up. Is he implying something? I didn't even think about asking him, yet he mentioned that I should not think about not asking someone because they are wounded. Am I overthinking things? Maybe....Should I ask him to come along with me? Hmm....I'm not sure... Niracamda bowed her head and was thinking very deeply about it. She kind of wanted to ask him but at the same time she didn't want to cause him trouble. No....I should just ask. It can't hurt, right? Although he will probably say no...

Taking into account that they actually had just met the small Houndour hesitated and looked at the Absol before speaking up. "Well, I guess you are right. Say Deimos, do you maybe want to come with me some time?" She asked. "It's ok if you don't want to. I don't really want to burden you." Niracamda glanced at Deimos his wound. Would he actually come with her? Nah, probably not.

Deimos remained patient as he waited for a response, hoping she'd understand his specific meaning with what he said. He probably could have just outright said it without dancing around it, but he wanted to see how she'd react. When she finally asked, Deimos bowed his head respectfully. "I'm a traveler first and foremost, however I do know how to hold my own" Deimos began to speak, his head bowed.

"However... At the moment I lack a destination, so I'd be happy to lend a hand... I am physically capable as a fighter, even with what little injury I have left" The Absol spoke, not dancing around the matter and getting straight to the point.

Niracamda listened carefully to what Deimos was saying. She was expecting to get turned down on her offer. She was not prepared for that answer. "Would you really come with me?" The small Houndour asked. She was actually happy with the idea of exploring with Deimos. He was pretty interesting and she enjoyed talking to him. "I actually didn't think you would come along. I'm glad you actually want to explore with me."

Deimos was not the most social as far as she could tell. Still, there was something about him that she liked. The Houndour could not really put her finger on it though. It was probably that he seemed to treat her with respect. She actually never met any Pokemon like him before. He seemed kind of mysterious to her.

Deimos just bowed his head in a respectful manner, honestly having no reason not to help. She seemed unique from what he could tell. She was the first Shiny apart from the one who'd passed that he'd met... She seemed nice enough for the time considering that she didn't want to cause any trouble. She seemed to understand useful topics and so on, she'd be useful to keep around.

The Absol nodded when she asked if he truly would come along and help. When she then stated that she was glad to have him along, he bowed his head once again. "You never know if you don't ask and there is rarely any reason not to, as long as you know they're safe" Deimos spoke, trying to explain what exactly his responses meant. "Regardless... I'm happy to help" He added.

Niracamda smiled at the Absol. "You are right. Asking never hurts. I'm glad you want to come along. You seem pretty nice and strong too." Her smile wavered a bit. "I don't have to worry about you getting hurt, do I? I can treat your wounds but I don't want anything bad to happen to you because of me." She said with a bit of an unsure voice.

Niracamda shook her head a bit. She should not be asking such things. The Houndour tried to change the topic. "So uh...When do you think we could go explore somewhere? I heard there is this beautiful forest on an island in a lake. I believe it was called Fallen Leaf Copse. I really want to go there." Curiosity and excitement were glimmering in her eyes. She tried imagining how it would look like but she tried doing the same for this thing called the sea, and it turned out to be so much prettier than she thought it would be.

Deimos simply let what she said about him be, not getting much meaning out of her presumed compliment. As she asked if she would have to worry about him coming to harm, he shook his head. He had a very safe Moveset considering his Sucker Punch and Stone edge, both of which could be useful for more than just attacking.

Deimos bowed his head when she asked when he would be willing to go with her to travel. "Whenever you feel is most appropriate to be honest. For Fallen Leaf Copse, I've been there about twice before, so I know the area somewhat" Deimos spoke, being completely honest about all of this

Niracamda jumped up. She was so excited about seeing this forest and she was also happy to have someone who would like to go with her. It did help that Deimos had been there before. He also seemed to be oke with leaving whenever she wanted.

"Well, how about we leave tomorrow then? It's getting dark now so we should probably rest for the night." The Houndour looked in the distance. The sun was sinking in the sea and the first stars started appearing in the sky. Niracamda stretched a bit. She had gotten a bit stiff from sitting there the whole time. She glanced at the wound on Deimos' side, wondering if it really was a good idea to bring him along. The Houndour was also wondering how far Fallen Leaf Copse was from here. Still, she knew she would be safe with Deimos around. That was the impression she had from him.

Deimos noted how excited the small Houndour had become, evident by it's sudden increase in movement. She was an interesting one for certain it seemed. When she asked about leaving tomorrow, Deimos nodded, viewing it as an acceptable compromise. "That is fine, i have no qualms with leaving sometime tomorrow" The Absol spoke. Who knows, his wound might have fully healed by the next day.

Noting how the scene infront of him was changing, Deimos turned his focus to the stars... He remembered watching them so long ago, back when he was merely a child. It was a good memory, one he'd not had the time to revisit in a long time. Regardless, Deimos prepared to head off to find somewhere to rest, wanting to be ready for his trip to fallen leaf tomorrow.

Niracamda watched more stars appear in the sky. It was probably a good idea to leave and find a place to rest. She was glad Deimos agreed on going to Fallen Leaf Copse with her. Niracamda was actually getting tired. She yawned a bit. "We should get some sleep then. Don't want to go exploring when you are too tired to think."

Niracamda actually did have days were she was up for nights on end. Mostly when they were short on staff for some reason. Sometimes it was just really busy in the hospital. She actually was able to handle a lack of sleep. That didn't mean it was a good idea to not get any rest.

The shiny Houndour noticed Deimos was getting ready to leave. She probably should leave too. "Well, I guess I will see you tomorrow then. Good night, Deimos." Niracamda said before she walked away, of to find a place to rest.
