| At first, Adamantine had no idea of the feeling of teleportation. The sensation was almost as if it was whisked away at a moment's notice and halted to a stop gently yet forcefully. Its "head" stopped spinning and regained its steady, levitating position. "Oh dear, that was not pleasant..." the Beldum said with a hint of dizziness. Clyde meant well with his offer to teleport them both to the Grassveil Guild, but the robot-like Pokémon felt the backlash of the plan as the room slowly stopped spinning. "That was very foreign, please excuse me... I must adjust to the feeling of teleportation..." it said with a queasy expression in its eye.
After a few more seconds to regain its bearings, Adam was ready. Ready to apply for the guild, ready to take on missions, and ready to help tons of Pokémon. Sure, there were strange events occurring, what with the so-called "holy war" some spoke of, but the Beldum knew nothing of the details. A call had reached three "prophets", each with their own vision from legends. One from Arceus seeking peace, one from Zygarde seeking restoration, and one from Giratina seeking freedom. Currently, Adamantine thought of Arceus to be the best option, but the fact that it knew nothing of the god's task threw the Steel type off. How could it aid the theoretical creator of the universe if it knew nothing of its requirements?
...Perhaps the Guildmaster knows something about this. I should ask her once I have the chance. it thought with a light nod. The first order of business would be to apply for the guild; questions about this "holy war" would come after, if the opportunity presented itself. The Beldum turned to its Abra companion and motioned towards the door. "I believe that we should knock, no?"

| "I thought that might happen. Guess I should have warned you." Clyde scratched his head awkwardly with a nervous smile on his face. Teleportation is a strange sensation to those not accustomed to it. Luckily, the side effects didn't last long. Before continuing on their errand, the psychic type made sure to give Adam some time to recover from the new sensation.
"Knocking is a good way to start." Clyde reached his hand out to the door and tapped hard enough for an audible group of knocks. He remembers back to his first day at the guild. The young Abra had been escorted by someone from his former home and then shortly after met with Faye, the Guildmaster of Grassviel. He was nervous, excited, and slightly unprepared. Now, he feels the same thing, except more prepared. Today, Clyde is nervous but excited for the future with his new team member.
"This shouldn't take long. Before you know it, we will be saving the world from Giritina and those with him!" He said following with a reassuring smile. Clyde wasn't up to date with the three legendary Pokemon, but he wished he knew how he could help the good. |

| Faye was humming quietly to herself, busy brewing up another pot of herbal tea and administering just the right amount of various dried herbs to create her blend in the boiling water. For her, it was a time for a short break. Her neck was aching a bit after such a long time of being craned over a book, a tall stack of various old and large tomes teetering on her table, pushed aside. They were what she had been studying, trying to figure out more answers. Unfortunately, the key that would unlock the mysteries was still hidden.
A knocking sound caused the Meganium to raise her head and look towards the door – that of course did not open. It rarely did, unless it was an emergency that required her immediate attention. One of her dextrous vines lowered the lid of the teapot in its right place, letting the liquid sit there and absorb the flavors. Then, she started to walk her way towards the door before opening it.
She was greeted by a familiar face and a not so familiar one. One Pokémon already was a member of Grassveil Guild, but the other, the Beldum… Well, Faye just smiled gently, knowing where this was going. "It is good to see you, Clyde," she greeted the Abra with a slight nod before turning her gaze towards the still unnamed Pokémon, "Did you bring a friend with you today?"

| "Greetings, I am Adamantine. I am a friend of Clyde, and today I wish to apply for the guild under his team." the metal entity began, wasting no time. It wasn't that it was uninterested in Faye, no, quite the opposite. Her somewhat calming demeanor took hold and halted any stuttering, stammering, or warning sign of anxiousness. ...This truly is an odd sensation. Perhaps this is why recruits claim that it is easy to apply. My own frightened conscience was silenced by this feeling. Fascinating... it thought with a curious look in its eye. The only thing left to worry Adamantine was the Guildmaster's tolerance of its constant, monotone, and robotic voice.
There was always the issue of the recent events with the three legends, and getting at least a little bit of information would help. "...Oh, and one more thing before we begin. If you have time, after registration, could we perhaps discuss recent events? I realize that this must be an odd request, but I was wondering if you would be able to aid me in understanding." it asked politely. Though it was still a critical topic to comprehend, Adam wanted to get this done before anything else.

| "Hello, Faye! This is A-" Clyde started, but was cut short by the Beldum. Slightly annoyed, but he got over it. The Abra instead just stood there quietly and waited for them to finish. He thought back to his first day, and wondered if this is what he looked like registering for the guild. Except with arms, legs, yellow, etc.
When Adam brought something up, he was slightly confused as to what he was talking about. Recent events? Clyde thought for a moment and thought maybe it was about the strange activities going on in the world. That's what made the most sense to him. Looking past the Grass type, Clyde could see clutter on the Guildmaster's desk, assuming that she was trying to figure something out. This problem must be more serious than I thought. Clyde tried not to delve to deep into these sorts of things. He felt at this point in time he would just get in the way. But his partner, Adam, seemed very interested I it. |

| Faye smiled as the robotic Pokémon decided to introduce itself instead of letting Clyde do it, nodding in response. "That sounds like a wonderful idea, sweetie. I am Faye, the Guildmaster. It is very nice to meet you, Adamantine," she replied, using her vine to push the door further open. Indeed, this newcomer was here to join Clyde's team. It was what the Meganium had suspected, so it didn't come as a surprise. She motioned at the two to actually enter her room, taking a few steps away to give the Pokémon some space to do so. "Please, come inside."
The Guildmaster was already about to turn around and walk back to her desk to retrieve the book where she kept the information about the various teams, but she was stopped by Adamantine's words. Recent events… Everyone was wondering about those. It was only normal. Unfortunately, Faye did not have all the answers she wanted to be able to give to everyone.
"Of course. These are troubling times, and there are still many questions I have about it myself. But I will try my best, dearie," the Meganium's smile had faltered for a while as her gaze flicked aside, but when she looked back, her eyes were as reassuring as they could be, her smile gentle. With a soft chuckle, she started to walk once more, the door closing behind the three. "Oh, I will say right away that you don't have to get involved in anything you don't want to. The most dangerous jobs go for the more experienced teams."
Stopping in front of the various shelves on the back wall behind her desk, her eyes searched for the right book. Then, almost by accident, they managed to gaze down enough to find the small pot of tea between all the potted plants. "Would you two maybe like some tea?" Faye asked, though… She wasn't entirely sure if the Beldum could drink tea…

| The Beldum nodded and allowed Clyde to enter the room first before itself. This seems easier than my previous assumptions. I may have overestimated this situation. it thought with its version of a shrug. Seeing as it had no shoulders... or any sort of limb, it appeared to be little more than a blink. After a few seconds of settling in, Faye explained her agreement to inform them on the situation happening around town. "I see, thank you." it said with a nod. It was apparent that the Meganium, like Clyde and himself, didn't know much about this "holy war". However, Adamantine could tell that the three of them had somewhat similar beliefs in it.
Then, an odd thought popped into its head at Faye's next offer. Could Beldum even drink tea? Sure, Adam felt refreshment from having water touch its metallic body, but it never tried to drink anything; it wasn't like it knew where to put it. "...I suppose so. I am unaware of how I would drink it, but there is always the option of providing my cup to Clyde if I am unable." There was always a small hole to the bottom left of his eye... The Steel type wondered if that was the area he should try first. If anything, I'm sure this would be a moment to remember if I am incorrect.

| Clyde followed behind Faye and looked around the room. "This brings back memories." he spoke before stopping near her desk. The room was filled with several plants, maybe a few new additions since he had last stepped into her office. He remembered coming in this room and receiving a bag with a map, badge, and the ribbon he tied around his arm. The place he also named his team.
When Faye agreed to Adam's request, Clyde could see the expression in the Meganium's face change. But it didn't change for long as she brought back her usual smile. Even the Guildmaster was nervous about it, but that was to be expected. Dark clouds, Pokemon becoming feral, it was a huge mess that was troubling. Hopefully the issue would be resolved soon and things would return to normalcy, or some form of it.
"Yes, please." Clyde was surprised that the Beldum accepted her offer as well. He didn't have arms, and Clyde wasn't sure if he even had a mouth. He admired his determination to try though. "Let me know if you need help." It was times like these that Clyde appreciated his arms and hands. But maybe Adam had a way to pick things up. The psychic type figured he would learn more and more about his partner as time went on. |

| Faye had to admit that she was a bit amused how the robotic Pokémon seemed to be wondering the same exact thing about whether or not it could actually drink the tea. Still, Adamantine seemed to be interested in trying – and who was she to say no? She had offered, after all, so the Beldum should be allowed to at least try. With a nod, the Meganium lowered her head to take a look at the tea brewing in her pot, finding it to be fit for drinking right about now. She didn't waste any further time getting a few cups for her visitors and pouring tea in them.
"Here you go, dearies," she said, placing the cups on her desk while she busied herself with the bookshelf. She had been doing a little bit of redecorating, what with having gotten more books… But Faye managed to soon find the book she was looking for. Her eyes brightened up as she pulled out the large tome, keeping on its pages the information about the various teams in Grassveil's Guild.
"Now, I'll just need to write your name in this book, Adamantine," the Guildmaster explained as she placed the book on the desk and started to flip through the pages, stopping when she saw the right name, "Here, Team Rumble..."

| Here I go... it thought, lightly dipping its spherical head into the cup. The brewed drink actually had an unfamiliar sense about it, almost like a slightly bitter yet refreshing feel to it. My hypothesis was accurate! My, this is- Adamantine thought, only to realize that its head was too big to reach the bottom. No matter how hard it attempted to force its head down lower, it would not budge. Lifting its head up again, there was a bit of an issue; the cup was stuck! "Oh dear, perhaps it did not work to its fullest extent..." the Beldum noted, the cup causing its voice to echo. "Clyde, I may require a bit of assistance." Luckily, the metal entity kept its head pointed downward for fear of shifting the tea onto its face.
It was when the Guildmaster mentioned the team name did Adam nudge Clyde. They had to change the team name somehow, and having the Abra been the "leader" when it was created, it was only natural for him to speak up about it. "Go on, I believe that now is the time to bring up the topic." it whispered to its companion.

| Clyde couldn't help but laugh at Adam when he got his head stuck in the cup. When his laughter ended, the Abra grabbed the body of the Beldum with one hand and held the tea cup in place with one hand. After a few pulls and applying some psychic energy, the Beldum was free from the clutches of the evil tea cup. Clyde thought jokingly that he had saved the Beldum's life.
"About Team Rumble, we were wondering if we could change the name to Team Radiance." He didn't see any complications with changing the name of the team, but they couldn't just change it without informing the Guildmaster. After the request, the Abra took a small sip of his tea. He wasn't sure if he liked it, but he definitely didn't hate it. He could see himself getting used to the flavor of the drink. |

| Faye raised her head when she heard the muffled, robotic sounds, looking rather concerned as the Beldum appeared to have gotten stuck. The Pokémon couldn't seem to be able to release itself, what with not having any arms… But luckily, Adamantine had a friend right by his side. A future team member, even. A warm smile appeared on the Meganium's lips, happy that things were working out for the two young Pokémon.
The Guildmaster opened up a small bottle of ink and fetched one of her writing quills from a desk drawer. When Clyde spoke up about maybe changing the team's name, the Meganium just nodded with a smile. "Of course, dearie. You can change the name at any time you want, just remember to tell me," she chuckled, looking at both of the Pokémon before she started making any changes, "You would both like that?"
The team name was changed, becoming Radiance instead of Rumble. Faye's vine worked the quill gracefully, occasionally dipping the tip in more ink as she wrote. "Now, your name. Adamantine," the Grass-type Pokémon narrated what she was doing before looking up at the Beldum and smiling, "And there we have it. You are now officially a part of Team Radiance."

| "My thanks for liberating my trapped body part from the clutches of the tea cup, Clyde." it said, trying to add a bit of humor to the moment. It was unaware if this was true, but if Beldum could blush, Adamantine would be red in the face by now. I may need assistance whilst drinking, if the issue prevents itself once more... Maybe there are specialized cups for Pokémon in my case. The idea of having a cup specifically for Pokémon with a disadvantage such as itself could be implemented, but Adam sincerely doubted that it would be taken seriously. It shrugged off its foolish thought with a comical look in its eye.
The moment that Faye announced that he had successfully joined Team Radiance almost made the robot-like Pokémon burst out in celebration... or at least a celebration as far as its speech pattern would allow. "Thank you, Guildmaster Faye. If you are not busy, perhaps we may discuss the matters in town now? Of course, I understand if you do not have the time to analyze the situation with me. However, if you are currently available, I would appreciate it if you would share your knowledge of the events." At this point, Adamantine was struggling not to tangle up his words at this point. The thought of exploring a topic so foreign almost made the Beldum giddy in its own way.

| With Adam now a member of the team, Clyde was excited for what they could do together now. And it was always nice to have someone to explore with. The psychic daydreamed for a split second about going on missions for the guild, fighting outlaws, and getting stronger. But he then quickly snapped back into reality.
Clyde sat back and let the Beldum ask his questions about the situation going on in town. He seemed very interested in this subject, but it was a good idea to be updated on the current situation. The Abra had to admit though, he was also wondering what was going on. Hopefully the Guildmaster could answer the questions the young team had, and if not, perhaps they could find some answers on their own. |

| Faye smiled and nodded at Adamantine's thanks, the smaller Pokémon being happy that he had joined the Guild. However, this was not the only reason the Pokémon had come to see her today. No, there was another question, the question of the state of the world. A difficult one, and a much heavier subject. But they both knew this was coming, as it was something the Beldum had asked about right away – and Faye had agreed. It was only the right thing to do, talk about it, share their knowledge.
"Yes, of course, sweetie," she replied, her smile still on her lips but there definitely was more concern reflected in her eyes when she had to think of these more serious matters, "We could start with how much you happen to know right now, so I don't talk about things you already know – or perhaps I know something that might clear up any misinformation," the Meganium suggested, looking at Adamantine while she let the ink dry before closing the book.
