Zorre looked around the deep gulch menacingly as he approached the edge. There was a narrow path leading down into the depths of the ravine, a thick purple fog settling thicker and thicker as the crack in the earth disappeared under its heavy blanket.

The cracked mind of the scyther saw the gulch as an opportunity to fulfill his thirst for blood and hunger for flesh while blaming the death on a slip into the depths, or the weak succumbing to the heady poison in the air. It settled around the black scyther's collar like chains, but he ignored the harsh breathing he was acquiring from it and the heaviness it added to his limbs.

Only the weak would allow such barriers to stop them from their goal, and Zorre was no weakling. His insane red gaze trailed over the boulders that edged the gulch, and he let out a sinister laugh as he imagined his scythes slicing through muscles and tendons with the ease of a thorn through berries. This was his world, and all others were mere playthings for him to mess with.

No wit this time?  No responses?  S.S. willingly stood motionless, not bothering to attack or put his guard up.  He waited to see how the scyther would respond, and he wasn't disappointed.  The initial response seemed like fear, or perhaps shock.  What, from this!?  This was barely even a portion of his power!  He was trying oh-so-hard to hold back in the hopes of making this fun.  He was pleased to see the creature keep trying to attack instead of running, as fighting was more fun than playing tag.  He could tell from the motions that this swing of the blade-like arms had a bit more force in it than the last one, but he wasn't worried.

The glaceon calmly lifted his leg corresponding to where the slash was coming from to block it, his motions appearing unnatural, like some sort of puppet.  He pushed his paw outward as the scythe came toward it, slamming into it and stopping.  Of course, he could have just let his armor take the hit, but he wanted to feel what this unnaturally colored creature had to offer.  He was willingly offering his bare paw-pad to the sharp blade.  Sure enough, it managed to cut into the bottom of his paw before being stopped by his body's natural durability as well as the surrounding frozen fur.  It stung a bit, but it wasn't a pain worth suppressing.  If anything, he was kind of enjoying the.... tickling.... sensation.

"My turn," he simply stated, before bolting around toward the back of the scyther at his same near-teleportation speed, once more leaving an afterimage of himself behind.
He was pretty sure he would be able to attack unhindered from here, but it wasn't good enough.  "Can you keep up?" he questioned, waiting for the scyther to begin turning before running back to his original position, leaving yet another afterimage.
He then spun and lifted himself onto his front paws and into the air, preparing to bring his quill-covered tail down on the scyther's head.

Zorre was completely shocked as the glaceon simply lifted up a paw, and LET him strike against it with all of his strength. He was even more shocked when his scythe only sliced maybe an inch -if that- through the pokemon's skin before stopping. He had seen his scythes slice straight through bone before! What was this pokemon, that could stop him with mere flesh and fur?!?!

Zorre staggered backwards, the information spinning in his head. He was so dazed by this revelation that he didn't even register the incoming attack. He was slammed to the ground by the tail strike to his head. His head bounced off of the ground thickly. He was already dazed by mental incomprehension, and now he was dazed physically. He was vulnerable for any attack the glaceon wished to make.

The attempt at throwing the scyther off-guard had been a failure, as the guy had already been too shocked by his endurance to respond to his taunting. Oh well, it was a shame, but that just meant a free hit. His tail came down on the bug and knocked it down to the ground and he landed in his signature puppet-like fashion a moment later. He began giggling maniacally as he swayed back and forth, appearing as if he were dizzy. The black bug.... wasn't getting back up. Disappointing.... No, disrespectful! Infuriating!

"Come on, get up! You're not really done already.... No.... that simply won't do!"

He bit onto one of the scyther's arms and lifted the creature off the ground as much as he could with his rather small body, a sudden jolt of wind suddenly whipping up under the scyther to blow it up off the ground as he did so. He released the arm and spun around, slamming his tail into the creature's belly as hard as he could. Perhaps it was a bit counter-productive to encourage his playmate to get up by hitting even harder, and in a place that was known to take one's breath away and effectively stun them, but that didn't really matter.

Zorre was left helpless in the glaceon's paws as he went limp and the pokemon shook him around like a chew toy, tossing him to the ground and slamming into his abdomen with all the strength of a golem.

He heard the taunts as if from a great distance, and all he could do in response was groan. Why had he gotten himself into this situation in the first place? Between the beatings and the haziness of his mind, a part of Zorre came back to himself from beyond the place of insanity he had been in.

He was horrified with himself and his actions, but he couldn't move his body the way he wanted to, nor could he make himself respond in any way. The dark haze over his mind had cleared for a moment, but was once again descending upon him like a rushing tidal wave of black ire.

Zorre giggled breathlessly, his insanity once more intact. He pushed himself to his feet, staggering a little as he eyed the other pokemon with ill-disguised hunger. He spat blood on the ground and then smiled, his teeth full of his own gore but not caring. "Well, Darling? Is that the best you can do?" he giggled and lunged at the glaceon once more.

A single groan.... then silence. This source of entertainment seemed to be through. Right now would probably be the time S.S. would normally.... switch, whether he wanted to or not, but it wasn't happening this time. It seemed he had free reign; what a pleasant surprise. Then another of those pleasant surprises came his way in the form of a giggle.... from the scyther.... who was getting up. Alive still, and not only that, but still able to fight as well? He wasn't deserving of such luxuries.... but he would most certainly accept them.

The enemy lunged for him in yet another attempt to harm him, still trying to taunt him. This time, he decided to give a demonstration of just what he could truly do and see just how far he could push Double Team. Sova would probably be flailing around helplessly trying to learn how to use this new ability, but he wasn't Sova! He bolted around and behind the scyther at the near-teleportation speed of Double Team, leaving behind another afterimage as he did so. He then rammed into the bug's back at the same speed, once more leaving behind an afterimage. He used the bug as a springboard, jumping off it and up into the air, forcing the creature down toward the ground at the same time.

While in the air, he took in a deep breath and blew, creating a thick, burning-cold mist. He'd keep blowing until either he reached the ground or the scyther moved out of the way. Mr. Black and Edgy could take it, though, right?

Zorre snarled deeply as his enemy blurred around him, leaving after-image upon after-image of himself as he spun around the black bug before kicking him away again, sending the scyther sprawling on the ground once more. Zorre was getting his butt kicked, but his insanity prevented him from feeling the pain for more than a minute or so, and he kept getting up despite the punishment that his body was going through.

The air was getting colder and colder around him, the sub-zero temperatures slowing the bug down even more. He wasn't made for this type of weather -his kind stayed in the tropics, or bogged down for winter months under the warm earth. He wasn't made to stand up to this kind of cold, but he kept fighting.

"Darling, this playing hard to get doesn't suit you," he purred, teeth chattering against the cold. "Surely you'd rather join me with dinner than play this game of yours? It's getting tiresome, dear."

He lunged for the glaceon again, but this time tripped over his own feet and the cold, and fell over. THis time he didn't get up, ice creeping up around the bug's carapace and freezing the scyther solidly to the ground. He was out for the count, at least until the glaceon decided to let up a bit on the temperatures.

The deranged glaceon landed on his paws and stumbled back a bit as if he were or clumsy. In reality, this was just how he moved while fighting.... It was kind of like dancing; he let his movements flow rather than forcing them. He cut his breath moments later as he'd planned to and waited for the mist to clear. When it did so.... he was a bit disappointed at what he saw. The scyther-cicle was on the ground, looking relatively chilly to say the least. No signs of getting up, let alone fighting anymore.... Well then, that meant the fun was over, eh?

S.S. was a bit impressed that the creature managed to continue talking in such a cocky manner right up until the end. Honestly, he doubted he would want to end the life of someone so.... entertaining even if Sova hadn't said not to. While he did like bloodshed and death and all that good stuff, he mostly just liked fighting. Actual DESIRE to kill rather than just to fight or harm was something reserved for only those of true annoyance. This scyther was a bit of a pest, but a fun pest.

"Get up before I decide to keep hitting you," he said in a nonchalant manner, making it sound as if he thought this should be an easy task.
He chuckled at himself, finding his tormenting "joke" to be rather funny. Honestly, he wasn't even sure if the scyther was conscious, but he didn't really care too much about that. All he really cared about was that he was still free.... and he needed something to entertain him. Maybe he could go find something else to maim? Or perhaps he could do something really fun with his own body for Sova to have to deal with later, like get his fur dyed some really edgy color.... Black, maybe! The bug certainly made it look edgy, so maybe it'd look equally edgy on him!

Zorre could hear muffled talking from beneath the sheet of ice that he was trapped. He was unable to make out what the voice was saying, though. It was all muffled and cold under the ice. He let out a small groan, trying to move, but unable to muster up the energy. Everything was so... cold... freezing...

Zorre was still trapped and unable to move away from the taunting glaceon. He was open to any attack it would want to unleash upon him at any moment in time. If he were to be attacked, he might be able to break through the ice, but it was unlikely.

S.S. approached and began circling around his ice sculpture, surveying the damage proudly. It wasn't quite the greatest piece he'd ever created, but it was good enough. Perhaps he could use Blizzard to fine-tune it.... but no, he was supposed to not kill anything, and that would probably do the opposite. He supposed he needed to ruin his own work now to see if the scyther was still alive, which he wasn't particularly looking forward to. As he circled around the ice-encased bug, he allowed his bristled tail to scrape along the icy coating, deciding the best course of action for this situation.

Maybe he could just wait for the ice to melt naturally.... or simply leave to go find something more challenging to take down. He knew there were considerable dangers in this area, at least from his shared knowledge with Sova. But then what if the bug died of hypothermia or something? Sova was willingly giving him control, so it was only fair that he abide by the one rule given to him. Normally, he didn't like following rules, but this one was somewhat of a special occasion, so he was willing to let it slide. Besides.... the scyther was somewhat entertaining, so he wanted to have a bit more.... fun with this one.

The glaceon chuckled to himself, smirking at the ice sculpture as he decided on the best way to go about doing this. He stepped back and a red orb of energy began to form in front of him; a Shadow Ball. It then shot forward toward the scyther with the aim of.... warming the guy up a little. By exploding. That would probably break the ice.... or at least, he thought so, though he wasn't entirely sure. He figured it couldn't be too sturdy, since he hadn't even used Blizzard.

Zorre was still frozen under the ice, barely conscious at this point. Then there was a dark glow, and an explosion. The ice shattered around him, and Zorre fell to the ground, coughing and hissing unpleasantly as the cold rushed in and around him, along with dark, ominous clouds of... something.

He glanced up weakly at the glaceon, who was staring at him with an evil smirk on his face. Growling, Zorre attempted to push himself to his feet. No one taunted him thusly and got away with it! But he was too weak from being frozen and then shattered apart and tossed around. He collapsed, coughing again. The poison was beginning to make itself known as well.

Zorre was in a difficult spot at the moment. If he couldn't get up and continue the fight, he might as well be dead. So he did the only thing he could think of while he took deep breaths and tried to force some energy back into his dead limbs: he spoke, and rambled on.

"So this is how it's going to be, is it, Darling? I'm so sorry you feel this way. We could have had so much fun together, you see? Don't you understand, I'm only trying to make you beautiful... ohhh, and what a beauty you would be... *hisss* Ah, and what wonders we could make together, don't you realize? *click-click* If only you would just cooperate, Darling... we could do so much together."

The glaceon giggled as he watched the explosion, with bits of ice flying everywhere. At least he could entertain himself, since the scyther was proving to be less.... alive than he would have preferred. Probably not dead, but not exactly fighting fit anymore. His giggles stopped when he heard the breaths of the bug, signaling life and, judging by how the breaths seemed to be of the conscious variety, his new playmate was awake! ....And beginning to speak nonsense about.... from what he could gather, it was about killing him. Was the scyther really still hung up on the urge to kill him? He wasn't planning on dying today, regardless of Sova's.... condition for him being here. Though he doubted the scyther would be able to threaten him even at full strength, let alone this pathetic display.

"You seem to think fighting.... killing.... is an art. I consider it a sport," he responded, lifting a paw and looking at it with a bored expression as he did so.
He was already bored, having an attention span far shorter than Sova's. Sitting around doing nothing didn't quite suit him. He decided he would entertain himself - at least for now - by gloating. He looked back toward the scyther and placed his paw back on the ground, giving a triumphant smirk. He then spoke once more: "Regardless of what you call it, there's no denying I'm better at it than you. So maybe you should stop pleading for my life.... and start pleading for your own."

S.S' giggles had stopped; he was now silent. There were no eerie noises on his part to fill the void of sound. He eagerly awaited the response of his former "enemy," curious to see where this would go. He certainly didn't mind someone pleading to him for their own life, though beating the pleads out of the scyther didn't sound too bad either. Or maybe he could see if there was anything that could make the deranged mind of the creature.... tick. It was generally easy to agitate an unstable mind, though the methods through which to accomplish this could be.... odd. Either way, he didn't really have anything better to do.

Zorre cocked his head to the side, listening to the glaceon's words. He was confused. Why did the poor creature believe he wanted to... fight... even kill it? He just wanted to have a little fun with it. Why was everyone he met these days so hung up on the idea of him killing them or fighting them? He just wanted to make the world beautiful.

It didn't occur to the deranged scyther that in making the pokemon around him 'beautiful' he was actually maiming them for life, if not outright murdering them by leaving their entrails strewn about. To his crazed mind state, there was nothing more beautiful than the blood of creatures poured out like a red paint for him to draw the most vivid designs with.

"Ah, but Darling you don't understand," he spoke in return of the glaceon's taunting. "You are deluded... Why would I ever want to kill you? That is so... vulgar, dear. I leave the fighting to the uneducated masses. Now, I understand that I might have frightened you, Darling. It's not often a female meets such an intimidating male, I know, but honestly, Darling. I mean you no harm... I just want to fix your defects and make you beautiful again..."

S.S. stared in silence at the ramblings of the creature before him. He was quite certain what he was qualified as "insane," but this.... At least he held his own lucidity. He knew the concept of right and wrong, he knew of morals, he knew what he did and every reason others viewed it as "wrong." He just didn't care. But this guy.... just made excuses. Perhaps the scyther couldn't stop himself from feeling guilty for his actions without deluding himself into thinking he was somehow helping others.

S.S. didn't care. What he did care about was the insinuation that he was intimidated.... and how he'd just been called a girl. But that was alright, as he had this scyther at his mercy and could deliver whatever punishment he saw fit for such accusations.... Even an unhinged mind would learn discipline eventually if it did not want to perish. He slowly approached the creature once more, speaking as he began to encircle it: "I can assure you, I'm a guy. And more importantly, you do not intimidate me...." he trailed off as he stopped next to the scyther's arm.

The glaceon gave a void stare, his joy suddenly gone and replaced with the thought of punishing the creature who'd dared to imply he could feel intimidated by anything, let alone something so.... underwhelming. "....Especially not when I can do this," he added on, before abruptly slamming his paw down as hard as he could on the scyther's arm, aiming for the elbow.
He needed no help from someone barely clinging to reality; he needed no help from anyone. He cared not how the warped mind of an insect viewed the act of killing, nor its opinions of him, and he was done listening. The scyther'd had enough fun.... and now.... it was his turn to play a bit.

Zorre let out a howl of distress as his arm was broken by the heavy paw of the glaceon. This was not how he was planning this situation to go!

"Darling!" he gasped out, still lost to his delusion; the deepest depths of insanity could not be broken by simple pain. "I've tried, and I've tried, and you still continue to do these things. Why do you deny yourself? Why do you deny me?!" He broke off into wails of pain as he tried to move his arm away from the icy pokemon.

"I don't understand, Darling?! Why have you done this to me?!" It wasn't the begging that the glaceon was looking for, but it might suffice. Or not.

Oh, the sweet, sweet sounds of pain.  Oh, how the music rang out was such a wonderful change of pace!  S.S. stared down at the pained scyther, holding his paw right where it was.  He began to giggle from the sounds and his body loosened up a bit, causing him to let up just a bit of pressure on the scyther's arm.  This creature truly did not see the world correctly, so to speak....  Then again, he wasn't quite sure he was any different.  How would he even be able to tell if his perception of reality were in some way warped?  That didn't really matter to him, but it was an interesting thought nonetheless.  What was important now was his only source of entertainment.

"To prove a point.  I'm not frightened by you, I'm not intimidated.... I'm disappointed.  You are physically incapable of "fixing" me.  You cannot change me.  You can't even touch me unless I want you to....  But I, on the other hand, could.... "fix" you," he responded, then paused, lifting his paw off the arm he'd toyed with.
He began circling the bug once more, chuckling and smirking in a pleased fashion as he did so.  If he could not teach the scyther who he was, he would teach a different lesson.  He would teach a lesson of superiority, through the universal language of pain.

"How do you fancy becoming your own art?  I could do that for you....  I could show you what it is you do to others.... enlighten you....  I could make you "beautiful," as you call it."
