Timid nature, Slightly vain.

Roswell is a moderately huffy Elgyem with high standards, but somehow views himself as pathetic. His confidence is somewhat unusual because it fluctuates. He can be incredibly smug at one point, but can quickly start feeling miserable on the account of his many inadequacies. Roswell's main problem is that he's unsure what to do with his life and plays it safely, even though he clearly longs for something more exciting.

Ross can be critical and sometimes emotionally immature, but he has a kind heart. He always thinks of others first in negative situations. He is also loyal to those that treat him well and can stomach the occasional loving taunt. He's also a very paranoid individual and is often worried that something bad will happen to him in the strangest of times. They're often completely out of left field, such as a legendary pokemon becoming angry at him for something innocuous. He’s a cautious pokemon and is good with details, usually remembering them for his own safety.

Roswell is no hero but as a friend, but he will follow you to the ends of the earth.

» Likes:

-History: Roswell is an admirer of culture and society through and through. History has been a topic he's been fascinated by ever since he was a hatchling. He enjoys learning about Pokemon's various feats but also their failures. Most of the literature he has at home is historical study books or period pieces.

-Cooking/Food: Ross' main hobby. He finds cooking as a way to ease his mind. His meals are usually passable in quality however. He always looks forward to trying something new or a restaurant he just learned of.

-Alien theories, UFO sightings: The concept of intelligent life on other planets has always fascinated Roswell. He especially loves UFO/alien incidents that have been mysteriously left unsolved. Worried that others would consider him a mentally unwell theorist, he mostly keeps this interest to himself. However he does completely believe in it and is something of a nerd when it comes to this subject.

» Dislikes:

-Rumors: A pet peeve of his. He doesn’t understand the enjoyment that someone would get by spreading false claims and the idea of it generally 'irks' him.

-Disappointment or to disappoint: With his father and his forefathers being explorers, failing at that occupation has given him an internal guilt. He strongly dislikes letting someone down, because he often feels that he also let himself down also. Disappointment is something that regularly bothers him mentally.

-Lack of morals/virtues: Roswell dislikes outlaws, even the petty ones that steal a jewel for bragging rights. Similar to his feelings towards rumors, he doesn't understand why someone would take that route in life. A part of him sympathizes with them, but his uptightness usually makes him view criminals as nothing more than uncouth fools.

» History:

Admiring his family's heritage, a young Roswell desired to become an explorer like his retired father and his father before him. His first escapade was his last, after part of a cavern collapsed and left him trapped for several days. Emotionally scarred by the situation, he quickly became a faint hearted and danger fearing individual. The Elgyem convinced himself that he wasn't cut out for that line of work.

Years passed and the Cerebal took a more restful occupation being a translator in Grassveil town. He claims he is content with his small home, job and average wealth, but he longs for something. He doesn't know what exactly, but he has been finding himself staring at the outskirts of the village, where it ends and Pecha Forest begins. It's a secret desire for travel, which internally scares him, but he has felt it too many times to ignore it and go with his fears. Adventure is calling him.

» Other:

Ross is notably taller and lankier than the average male of his species. He also knows various languages, both verbally and the written word.
