Friend or Foe [Mei, Lillian & Cana]

The Dratini rummaged through the forest, her violet eyes wider than usual and her tail twitching nervously. The eerie silence of the forest seemed to be mocking the Dratini and her fear of being alone which maddened her immensely.

The reason why Katsumi had come to Pecha Forest was so that she could find Pokemon to befriend and Pokemon to battle. The only thing she wanted was just to see some other Pokemon. If she could simply do that, then she wouldn’t feel so horribly alone.

But of course, luck hadn’t been on her side and she still hadn’t been able to find a single Pokemon. Taking deep breaths, Katsumi stood still, attempting to calm herself. With her slightly calmer mind, Katsumi let her violet eyes scan the terrain in detail, desperately hoping that she would find any other Pokemon.

Mei wasn't in a good mood at the moment. From the moment she had been dodged around with a constant sign of bad luck. She had nearly stumbled into a pile of Pokemon dung covered in a path full of leaves and had almost fallen into a ditch covered up with brambles. She did manage to leave unscathed, although it left her emotions in ruins. She was way more then pissed. She was positively fuming. Stupid, stupid, STUPID forest. The Eevee growled angrily as she walked through the bushes, dodging out a tree branch which was sticking out from its bark. She was expecting something... better in this forest. She did made several trips in and out, but none of them ended up like this. The Eevee tossed her head angrily. In her temper, she didn't exactly see the vine sticking out from the bush in front of her, and tripped--causing a large crash. Wonderful. She HAD to attract attention, did she? Mei quickly scrambled up to her feet, and looked around--her guard up. She could attract in some ferals she didn't want.

Cana had been walking for a while. She didn't come across any trouble so far. She was getting a bit tired and decided to rest under a tree. In the few times she came here she came to like this forest. Of course there were a lot of ferals around. She had to be careful. Still, it seemed pretty peaceful now. There was a soft breeze going through her fur. It sure was a nice day today. Cana wished it would stay like that for a long time. Sadly for her, that moment didn't last.

Cana jumped up when she suddenly heard a loud sound. "What was that?" It seemed to come from pretty close. She hoped it wasn't a feral. Would she go to look? She wasn't sure. She has been able to avoid trouble so far and rather kept it that way. Still....She could go see what happened. The Fennekin made up her mind and sneaked to were the sound came from.

Katsumi’s eyes widened with relief when she heard the large noise break through the silence of the forest. Relief echoed through her as she immediately started sliding through the undergrowth in attempt to find the source of the noise. The Dratini’s heart was beating excitedly as she drew closer and closer. Katsumi was almost there…

As she turned the corner, Katsumi saw a Pokemon! Joy rushed through her as she ran straight in front of the Pokemon but then she stopped. She knew this Pokemon looked very familiar but she couldn't recognise who it was because the Pokemon was covered in the leaves of the forest floor. Katsumi felt a grin tug at her face. "Did you trip or something?"

"Katsumi!" Mei exclaimed in surprise, shaking off the leaves which was plastered around her fur. She remembered the Dratini, of course she did! She would be an idiot if she didn't remember getting dunked by an overexcited Pokemon. It was either pure bad luck or good luck that she stumbled across the Dratini in the middle of the forest. Its nothing like she had ill wishes to the Pokemon, she just wished that the Pokemon could control her energy. "Um.. so what are you up to here?" Mei asked.

Ooc: I'm sorry to say this but both your rolls are invalid. I had to look it up though.

Dice rules:

Cana could hear voices when she moved closer. One of them seemed familiar. She decided to hide behind a tree and looked at who was there. She didn't seem too happy to see a certain pokemon. Just my luck. It's that Dratini again. But who is she talking to? There isn't anyone else here, is there?

The Fennekin looked a bit closer and tried to concentrate. Did that pile of leaves just move? What kind of pokemon is there? It didn't take long before she saw an Eevee shaking the leaves from her fur. The two pokemon seemed to know eachother. Cana wasn't really sure what to do now. Would she show herself or not?

As the Pokemon shook off the leaves that were attached to its body, Katsumi’s grin widened. It was Mei! It was awesome that she had found another Pokemon but it was even more awesome that it was a Pokemon she knew. The Dratini felt overjoyed.

“Well, ya know… I wanted to find some other Pokemon so I could say hi to them! Because saying hi to other Pokemon is actually one of my hobbies because saying hi is EPPPIIIICCC! So what happened was that I was in the forest when I heard a big crash so I raced over here and I found you! IT MUST BE DESTINY!” The Dratini practically yelled those last words as she randomly burst into laughter.

Lillian was wandering Pecha Forest when she suddenly heard a loud series of yelling noises. Lillian winced. Was this deja vu? She was sure that she had experienced a very similar moment before, in this same forest. She had pursued the strange noise she had heard last time, and had ended up meeting some other explorers. Considering that, she figured that she should probably avoid it this time. However, ears pricked, she realised that the voice sounded vaguely familiar. Katsumi? Lillian thought. It would definitely explain the peculiar noises she had just heard. After all, Katsumi was capable of making the strangest noises.

Flicking her tail from side to side, Lillian headed in the direction of Katsumi's voice. Eventually, a figure came into view - but it wasn't Katsumi. It was another Fennekin, with her back facing towards Lillian. She appeared to be... hiding behind a tree!? Slightly confused, Lillian approached her, treading lightly. "...Cana? Is that you? What are you doing?!"

[OOC: Okay so Panda is going to be away for some time but we should be able to keep this roleplay going until she comes back :P ]

After Katsumi had finished laughing she looked around to hear the voice of another Pokemon. Hmmmm, I know this voice! I think I know who it must be… Katsumi grinned at Mei before racing off to find the source of the voice when she saw two Fennekins.

One Fennekin was hiding behind a tree but the shadow of the tree was covering it's face so Katsumi couldn't see who it was however the other Fennekin was the Pokemon Katsumi knew as Lillian. Excitedly bouncing up and down, the Dratini raced up to Lillian. “LILLIAN! IS THAT YOU? Well I’m pretty sure it’s you, unless it’s actually your twin or something. BUT HIIIIII!” Katsumi’s eyes were beaming excitedly from all these unexpected encounters.

Mei's ears flattened at the sudden voices. There suddenly seemed to be Pokemon everywhere. She wasn't surprised that Katsumi knew all of the Pokemon around. "I'm guessing you know them." Mei said, trying to make her voice sound light and cheerful and failing miserably in it. She was trying to sound friendly for the sake of herself, and Katsumi. Her fur was still damp and soggy thanks to the fall, and there were still stray leaves tangled here and there. it annoyed her a lot.

Cana almost jumped up when she heard a voice behind her. She turned around to see another Fennekin. She recognized her. "Oh, hey Lillian. You scared me. I heard some loud crash and came to look." She glanced back to notice Katsumi quickly going towards them. She hid a bit behind the tree again from the surprise.

No matter how she looked at it, the Dratini was still as energetic as always. She hesitated and stepped from behind the tree after Katsumi yelled at Lillian. "Eh...Hey Katsumi. How are you?" Cana was a bit nervous. She didn't know Lillian and Katsumi that well and she didn't know the Eevee at all. She didn't seem so friendly, but maybe that was just because she was in a bad mood? She decided it was best to introduce herself. "Oh...Eh....Hello, my name is Cana." Her voice was pretty quiet and she hid half behind the tree. She also seemed to be avoiding the Eevee her gaze.

Evana carried out 1 launched of one Pecha Forest :

Lillian tilted her head to one side, alert. She lowered her voice, preparing a battle stance. "Why are you hiding, though? Are there ferals out there?" she inquired, on guard for what may be lying beyond. Thoughts ran through her mind - battle strategies. However, before Cana could reply, a Pokemon rushed through the bushes, heading directly for the two of them. Lillian was prepared to send an Ember attack directly at the "feral", but stopped herself just in time. It was Katsumi. The strange sounds she had heard earlier had been Katsumi, after all.

"Katsumi. Lillian acknowledged the Dratini. "I could hear you halfway across the forest. Lower your voice, she said, coolly.

Another voice rang out from where Katsumi had come from. Peering across, Lillian spotted a bedraggled, leaf-covered Pokemon. The voice sounded familiar, but Lillian couldn't quite place it. Looking closer, she realised that it was an Eevee. There was only one Eevee that she knew...
"If I'm not mistaken, that's... Mei?" Lillian asked. "I didn't know you two knew each other." Clearly, Mei had either gotten in a fight or fallen over. She didn't exactly look her best, with her damp fur and the leaves plastered across her body.

“Wow! I think I know everyone here!” Katsumi exclaimed in a loud voice to no one in particular. “Well, I know Lillian and Mei the most but I don’t know Cana that well.” The Dratini faced Cana. “CAAANNNNNNAAAA! HIIII! Do you remember me? Well that’s a silly question! Of COURSE you remember me! I’m the most amazing Pokemon in the entire universe!”

When Cana asked Katsumi how she was, she said it in such a quiet voice that the Dratini pouted. “Caaannnaaaa! You’re way too quiet. We need to have a screaming practice session where we force you to scream to everyone!” The Dratini started laughing once more at her ingenious idea.

"Lillian." Mei nodded politely towards the direction of the Fennekin. She did remember meeting the Fennekin, on a disastrous journey to Pricklemist Hill. They were more towards neutral ground then friendship, the zone Mei is most comfortable with. The Eevee noted that everyone here knew each other, which was pretty typical for Katsumi. It was obvious for the Dratini to know at almost everybody around. She wouldn't be surprised if Katsumi knew or is friends with the next feral Pokemon that pops up.

Mei could spot another Fennekin hiding by the tree, and judging by its actions... its probably shy. Mei glanced a little at the Dratini, who was laughing hysterically. As a character who loves peace, quiet and tranquility, Mei herself didn't exactly like being bugged to speak and she could guess what the Fennekin was feeling right now. The attention was probably killing her. Mei chose to look away.

Cana flattened her ears as Katsumi shouted and stepped back a bit. "I think I will pass..." She sure didn't like all that shouting. This dratini was louder than her siblings have ever been. If Katsumi kept yelling like that she might end up attracting some ferals. Cana looked around a bit. Things did seem quiet for now, although it did seem like something was moving in one of the trees a bit further.

Cana shook her head and looked at the tree again, but she couldn't see anything. Did she imagine it? She doubted it. She looked at the others to see if they noticed anything.
