» Natural Feats:
- Information Link: Due to the nature of a Porygon, they can form a link with others of their kind to share information faster than it would be possible verbally. This however only works when both Porygon stay in eye contact with each other.
- Minor Levitation: Porygons generally float as a means of travelling, this does not however grant immunity to ground type attacks
» Personality: Tec was always one of the more curious Porygon, analyzing his surroundings as well as other Pokemon. Whenever another Pokemon approaches him, he starts scanning the species for any kind of understanding on strengths and weaknesses. In battle, the same is true as he starts a battle mainly by dodging and preparing, looking for weakspots and type advantages before using his first attack. He sometimes seems to have a flat personality as he doesn't make jokes or understand them (the same is true for irony and sarcasm as well, although he can learn it). He is serious on his objective(s) as well as when it comes to battling. If he is not tasked with anything, he just tends to sit around, doing nothing.
In short, Porygon is exactly what he was born for, a guardian who doesn't question and who does what he is told. But with time past, he will start to live, start to flesh out in character as he will learn that there is more to life than just doing what he is told.
» Likes:
Knowing things - As it fits his curious nature, Tec wishes to learn more about the other Pokemon and the (new) world around him.
Food - While a Porygon doesn't require food, it made him always feel more like a part of the tribe, sitting together with the rest and eating, though he was careful not to eat too much.
» Dislikes:
Secrets - As a Pokemon that aims for knowledge, others might get the impression of Tec becoming a bit sour when he learns that there is information he can't obtain
Chaos - A chaotic state, either in mind or around him, doesn't suit his character (at least what little he has). He is always dead serious and doesn't like situations that are out of order
Laziness - This is more aimed at himself. While he doesn't judge other on their behavior, he can't stand having nothing to do. He was born to always be on the lookout and that kept him always busy.
» History: In a place far away, somewhere only myths and stories tell of, there was a group of islands. These islands were inhabited by tribes, each island hosting a different one. These tribes seperated from each other by their type and while some could live with others, there were tribes who would butt heads with each other.
In order to keep balance around the tribes, the Normal tribe, called the Equalizers, assigned a specific kind of Pokemon as Sentries. These Sentries were none other than the Porygon. The Porygon, as they were known for their ability to change type at will, would defend all tribes while at the same time providing means of transport between the isles for those who needed it.
Tec was one in the last line of Porygon, actually he was still an egg at that time, as a storm came along. While usually a storm wouldn't be trouble, this one was different. It destroyed all the tribes had built, many Pokemon were lost to the infinite waters of the ocean.
Those who survived the storm decided to leave the islands, building ships and setting sail towards the continent. Tec, however, went a different way. As the storm raged across the islands, a log with a hole drifted off across the waters, said hole being occupied by an egg.
Two years ago, said life-saving piece of wood landed at a coast, a few days afterwards Tec hatched from the egg. While a Porygon upon birth would recieve the information given by the parental Porygon, Tec had no one, he was alone without knowledge of the world.
Now, two years later, Tec is on a journey. A journey to find a new purpose in his life.
