A Firefly Is Born

Arashi walked into the guild with high spirits and an eager attitude. After having met Arie in the Fallen Leaf Copse, they decided that they wanted to form a team together. Brian, the Chimchar who was with them at the time, didn't desire the guild life at the time, and later separated from the two. With the Fletchling by her side, the Flash Pokemon grinned widely as she entered through the large doors. She couldn't wait until they started the team and go on adventures all around the world.

The Meganium lead them out of her room and towards a corridor that lead off in multiple directions and was lined with a number of rooms that likely housed all of their Guild's apprentices. Soon enough, Faye had lead them to a room she knew was empty. Taking the spare sign from the door, she opened it and lead them inside.

The room was a nice size, large enough for more than the two individuals that currently made up Team Firefly. The room almost seemed to be split into three sections; an area where bags and items could be hung near the doorway, an area for relaxing and chatter just to the left of the doorway, and an area that contained two nests to the right of the doorway, and looked almost to serve like a small bedroom area.

"This room is actually designed for up to four individuals, so if you ever decide to add members to your team, they can also live here with you whilst you are apprentices at the Guild," Faye explained. Arietta listened and nodded, before immediately making herself at home and picking a hook to hang her new treasure bag on with a grin. It was the one closest to the living room area, on the left side of the door.

"It's awesome!" she grinned, "And a lot bigger than I thought it'd be."

Faye nodded with a warm smile on her face, and then laid the sign she'd brought in with her down on the small tree-stump-esque table in the area to the left of the doorway.
"That sign there is for you to write on however you'd like. You could put your own names on it, or your team name. And once you're done, you can hang it on your door so your fellow apprentices know which team resides in this room," she explained.

Following the Meganium into the room, Arashi grinned.  Not only did it give her room to stretch and do other such activities, but it reminded her a bit of her home.  It wouldn't be as hard to adjust to this new life as she had originally thought.  The Shinx thanked Faye as she hung her own newly acquired treasure bag upon a hook directly to the right of Arietta's.

"This is awesome!  I can't wait to start doing missions and exploring and other stuff!"  The electric type ran around the room quickly, looking at one object, perhaps a table or the beds, for a few seconds, then moving onto another, continuing this pattern for a minute or two.

"Arie, what do you want to put on the sign?"  Arashi stopped rushing through the room as Faye began to speak.  "Our names, or our team name?  Do you want anything else on it, as well?"

Faye nodded to the Shinx's thanks and at Arashi's talk of exploring and missions she spoke up, "I'll leave you two to get settled today, but we'll begin assigning you tasks starting tomorrow," she smiled, dipping her head to the two before heading back towards the door as the Shinx began to talk about what they wanted to put on the sign.

"I'll see you two tomorrow," she chuckled warmly, before leaving the two to their own devices and closing the door behind her.

"Bye Faye!" Arietta called after her, before she excitedly replied to Arashi, "I think we should just put our team name big? Once we get to know the other Guild members they'll know we're the members of Team Firefly so it won't be as big a deal to have our names there?" she suggested, "It won't take as much modification either if we end up adding more team members~"

"See ya, Faye!"  Arashi called out, waving  to the Meganium.  She couldn't wait until tomorrow.  She was ready for anything they could send her way.  The Shinx looked over to the sign once more, as Arietta acknowledged it.

"I suppose so.  No need to get too fancy."  The electric type happily grinned, swiftly strolling towards the sign.  In large, orange-yellow letters, she spelled out 'Team Firefly.'  She held up the piece of wood for the Fletchling to see.  "How's this, Arie?  I decided on making it this color since it's sort of a mixture between some of the colors we are.  Just like how we chose our team name, only with color, instead of features."

Arashi walked over to the door, and waited for her partner's response.  She wanted to be sure that it was alright before hanging it on the entrance.  It would feel more final if it was set upon the door, in her opinion.

The young Fletchling grinned, spreading her wings and flapping them eagerly as she launched herself into the area, "I think it's perfect!" she trilled joyfully. The bird then fluttered over to the door hovering above where the sign would be so that she could help lift it into place where Arashi may not quite be tall enough to put it into place. Wings were certainly handy like that before.

Once the wooden sign bearing their team name was placed upon the door, Arie fluttered backwards, tilting her head to each side as if to test whether it was straight. When she nodded that she was satisfied, she turned to Arashi, landing back on the ground.

"Hehee! We're a team now! It's actually official!~" she grinned.
