| First topic message reminder :
Varda was quite exhausted! The trip through the odd house had been very taxing already, but when he had to make a quick trip back to the little town with a Glaceon on his back... Well, it certainly had been something, alright! Luckily he didn't have to carry his friend back, as they had been lucky and there was a Pokémon who could deal with their injuries for a small compensation, so they could just rush to the spooky weird house as soon as their legs – and wings – allowed them to! They had lost some valuable time doing this, but the bird believed he had done the right decision on his own, without Sova's help...
The house felt strange this time. They had been through such strange rooms on their first visit, but now the door they took sent them to an odd, extremely long hallway. It was rather narrow compared to many rooms they had seen before, but the hallway was wide enough to let a couple of Pokémon to walk side by side. There were no doors the bird could see, there hadn't been any doors for a while since the last one they took. As usual, there were various candles on the walls lighting up the gloomy house, some dark spots left behind by the dim lighting. The floorboards creaked under the pair of Pokémon and the old wallpaper was ripped in many places, revealing old wooden panels.

| Varda offered the little bits and pieces for the lizard to see, waiting until Jak had taken a look before doing or saying anything else. And indeed, with the way the Pokémon's eyes grew larger as he noticed them, it was as if they were familiar after all! Words weren't even needed to explain it, but the bird was glad that Jak did end up saying something, so he wouldn't be left wondering if he had guessed wrong! He couldn't help but smile, looking happy that he had done something good... But there was a good question this new friend brought up. If they had found pieces of the music box, while Jak had also had one... How many boxes were there, actually? "Oh... Hm. I don't know, I have just seen these pieces. They don't really... Well, some seem to go together, but the whole thing doesn't really stay in one piece," the Altaria mused, mostly thinking out loud. They didn't have any repeating parts, as far as he could tell, so hopefully he wasn't mixing up one box with another... But then again, what if the music box did need multiple of the same part? He had no idea, this was the first music box he had seen in pieces! "No one said there would be two, though," the bird tilted his head and closed his eyes, seeming to be in deep thought. This certainly was starting to become a real dilemma, much more difficult than he had originally thought. Fixing a music box seemed difficult, but now having to worry about extra pieces too... Varda opened his eyes as Jak called out to Sova, rushing to his side. And indeed, it did seem like his friend was exhausted! And it was no surprise. Previously, Sova had gotten injured quite badly... The bird shared the lizard-like Pokémon's concern, quickly – but carefully – putting the pieces back into his bag and hopped over to the Glaceon. What was said didn't matter that much, as the Altaria had no problems with getting and even bigger group to explore with! More was always better, right? But... They had Sova to worry about now, too. "Rest sounds good!" The bird Pokémon chirped, nodding as he agreed with Jak's idea. Sova was the kind of a Pokémon who might have forced himself to go further if everyone else did, but if he managed to interject and agree with the idea... Well, maybe Sova would be willing too! Varda was so busy nodding that he was very confused when the lizard-like Pokémon suddenly stopped in front of him, offering... A berry? The Altaria blinked before smiling. "Oh, that's okay! I brought lunch," he replied cheerily, digging into his bag and pulling out a little seed. While it might have looked like a rather pitiful meal compared to a juicy fruit... These seeds really did their job! "Berries are good, but seeds are even better," Varda told his bird wisdom to others before throwing his seed in his mouth. ((Go ahead and keep your berry, no need to use it yet! We'll... Probably be here for a while if our luck keeps up, hah. Add at least one Haunter to your Pokémon counter, and maybe that Golett too? We haven't used those yet. Feel free to use them.)) Current Energy: 57 (Thanks Reviver Seed)- Bird carried out 5 launched of one Ruined Passageway :

| Sova prepared to get moving again and act like nothing had happened, but it seemed the rest of the group had other ideas. Rest was suggested, and while he didn't want to suggest it himself, well.... rest sounded nice right now. Actually, rest seemed a bit more than nice, it may have actually been necessary for him to keep going! He couldn't stand being a burden to others, but if they wanted to rest.... well, he'd be a burden for not complying, right? In all honesty, though, he really didn't want to keep going if he didn't have to, and while what classified as "having" to may have been a bit warped for him, everyone else wanting to take a break was a good enough reason not to. He sat down as it seemed he was going to be here a while and allowed himself to relax a bit. However, he couldn't relax too much, as a bit of focus was actually a requirement for him to not risk passing out. Still, despite being relieved to have a much-needed break, he pretended to be indifferent to the idea as he rested. He still wanted to appear fine in an attempt to convince the others that he was indeed fine, and getting a break was no reason to go back on that. For this same reason, when he was offered a berry, he wanted nothing more than to decline it. But.... the glaceon couldn't help but wonder if maybe accepting it would look better for him, even if if would show he was worn out. Sensibly, anyone would be worn out in this type of situation, but that alone didn't necessarily mean he was.... well, in the state that he was actually in. Plus, he figured he'd have to make a fuss about not accepting the berry if he decided to take that route, which would probably end in some big confrontation where he'd end up admitting he was exhausted or something like that. He much preferred just accepting it now and getting that out of the way without any commotion. Besides, he already had an idea of how to accept the offer without actually accepting it, in a way. He accepted the berry with his injured paw, though holding it was difficult enough with a paw, let alone one wrapped in bandages. He found that holding it against his chest was the best way to go about it without eating the berry or simply dropping it into his bag. He wasn't planning on keeping this thing with him for too long, so what happened to it didn't really matter to him, but he at least wanted to keep it from being damaged until he gave it back to Jak. When the group started moving again, he'd toss the berry back to the charmeleon and start moving so that it couldn't be given back to him again, that way he wouldn't have to actually accept pity supplies from someone else in the end! As Sova sat doing his best to catch his breath and regain some of his energy, he listened to the rest of the conversation. The talk between Jak and Nevi was a bit entertaining, and Varda was.... Varda, as usual. No one seemed to be focusing too much on him, which was good. This meant he was likely to get away with not immediately eating the berry he'd been given and, hopefully, he would be able to avoid being questioned much on his current physical state. He was surprised everyone was acting so relaxed though, considering the other, more malevolent froslass was technically still nearby and could even hear them. Oh well. If the paralysis wore off and it decided it wanted to do something, he was confident he had at least one more Shadow Ball left in him. Nevi nodded in agreement with the other two about resting, though she neglected to verbally reply. Now that the group was getting larger and there were two who she'd gotten off to bad starts with, she didn't feel particularly comfortable speaking as much as she had been willing to previously. Still, she very much wanted to take a break, and she figured the others probably felt the same since they were the ones to suggest it. Well.... the glaceon didn't really jump to agree with the idea of resting, but he was surely worn out too. He clearly liked to look tough, but he was mortal just like everyone else and surely had limits. She paid little attention to Sova's odd behavior until the charmeleon seemed to start thinking he needed a Sirtus berry, at which point she began realizing that perhaps having to stop a looming wall of snow hadn't been as easy as it'd looked. The conversation topic quickly shifted over to her, though, in the form of an apology. "Oh, it's...." she began, hesitating for a moment. She couldn't help but think there was another short-tempered individual who could probably relate to the charmeleon, so that would be her reply. "It's fine. I see now why you two are friends, though," she continued, referencing Sova somehow knowing Jak's name previously. | Jak 16 Inventory Changes -1 Sitrus Berries
Items Persim Band x 1
Others Pokemon 1 x Haunter 1 x Golett 2 x Sableye 1 x Litwick
Items 2 x Slumber Orb 1 x Warp Seed
After Jak had offered the berry to Varda and was politely turned down for seeds. Jak had then offered a berry to Nevi, who seemed to accept it at the time. After handing the berry to the nicer of the ghost types he had seen here so far, he began to eat his berry after putting the others back. Just as he began to eat his berry, the ghost type started to respond to his previous apology, stating that it was fine and she could see why he and Sova were friends. This caught Jak off guard slightly, although it is true they sort of were friends. Their relationship isn’t something that is solid, more like they had some understanding of each other. ”Friends? Well, I… ” he started but couldn’t quite find the words. He then turned towards Sova for a brief moment to see if he was listening in on this, mainly because he was looking for help about the response to the question. He didn’t want to say that they weren’t friends, but he couldn’t say they were either. Friendship has to involve both parties, and he wasn’t sure if Sova would consider him a friend. The ghost type that had previously been paralyzed had no choice but to remain where it was, listening to the group discuss things. Eventually, it started to get annoyed by the group’s presence. ”Shouldn’t you all be looking for those parts.” the ghost type said in a rather low tone. Its previous beguiling voice was now gone. Jak ignored the Pokémon’s comment on what they should be doing, as he was done with it. He didn’t want to risk getting fed into another rage on this Pokémon. ”Just going to ignore me…” it questioned, ”Pretty much…” Jak mumbled just loud enough for it to hear him, and with that it made an agitated sigh. Jak looked around for a moment to take in the current surroundings as they rested. It was obvious that the group had originally come from the opposite direction of where the snow blocked. So, how would they get through it? It would take some time to melt… Perhaps his flamethrower can lend a hand at this if needed? The other thing he noted was the fact that Sova had not eaten the berry yet. However, he wasn’t going to rush the ice type into eating it for now… He hoped he didn’t have to confront the ice type about helping themselves. | |

| Varda gobbled up the seed happily, already feeling energized by it. It was strange how such a small thing could make such a big, strong bird as him to feel as if he had taken a great nap and eaten a big, delicious meal, full of power and ready for everything! He was ready already, his earlier exhaustion gone... But he decided to savor the moment and the lingering taste in his mouth for a moment while they let the Glaceon rest. If he started moving, he was sure that Sova would hop right into action again, and it wasn't what they wanted. At least when it came to this, he was on the same page with Jak!
The Altaria licked his beak while he listened to the rest, Nevi bringing up the relationship between Jak and Sova. Varda had never heard of this Jak Pokémon before, he was quite sure... But they rarely talked about others with the Glaceon while they were on a mission. Was this another Guild Pokémon, maybe? He had never seen Jak in the Guild, or at least he couldn't remember. That might have been because he was too busy thinking of other things, as it was quite difficult to think of more than two things at the same time....
And indeed, Varda's head became blank with one poof as the ghost-like Pokémon that had picked a fight with them earlier spoke up, sounding a bit different now. It took him a while to even realize who the speaker was, but only one Pokémon was currently on the floor! Right, the music box pieces. It was so nice of her to remind them of it, the bird might have forgotten about that! He couldn't help but smile, nodding at the Pokémon happily. He missed her intention and how Jak was ignoring her for a good reason, instead assuming that she was only thinking of their task and wanted to help.
"Oh, we will, don't worry! Thanks!" The Altaria chirped cheerily before looking back at his friend – and Sova in particular. Varda certainly seemed to be in a good mood, constantly smiling and his eyes large and bright. "Was the berry good, Sova?"

| Sova mostly just sat and listened as the others talked, not interested in joining in on the socialization. He was keeping a close eye on everyone else, mostly to tell when they would all likely decide to start moving again. However, he was beginning to get confused.... no one other than himself really seemed tired. Okay, maybe Nevi, but she wasn't particularly relevant here since she hadn't actually suggested resting. Why had Jak and Varda decided to rest if neither of them actually needed to? Was it because of him? Was he really making it that obvious what condition he was in? Either way, trying to rush to move along didn't seem like a good idea either way, since even if it was him the others were worried about, trying to go on would likely just cause more worry.
The glaceon turned his attention to the the conversation as he noticed Jak looking at him, getting the message that he was supposed to say something. The topic.... was something he was rather uncomfortable talking about, "friendship." Well, he didn't dislike the charmeleon, but he wasn't sure if the same was true vice versa. Maybe Jak felt the same way though, that would explain the attempt at getting him to answer instead. "Uh.... I...." he began, but couldn't quite figure out a good way of saying what he was thinking. What he wanted to do was question why anyone would want to be friends with him and say Jak would be better off without him, but he knew that likely wouldn't go over well, with Varda if not anyone else.
Before Sova could think of an appropriate way to describe his relationship with Jak, the annoying froslass on the ground began speaking again. However, it was dealt with quite nicely by the charmeleon, and he couldn't deny he found the little exchange entertaining. Perhaps Nevi was onto something by implying Jak was his "friend" because they had similar attitudes.... Then again, the similar tempers had gotten them into a bit of a fight before, though it hadn't exactly gone anywhere. Varda's response to the froslass was less entertaining and more awkward, as it seemed the bird completely missed all forms of context to the situation and gave a very.... Varda-y response. Still, he couldn't help but feel a bit happy to have the fluffy bird around for that type of thing.
Then Varda's almighty awareness did what had been previously thought to be impossible. Sova sighed as he was asked if he liked the berry.... the one he hadn't eaten, that he still had in plain view. He was holding it against his chest and making no attempt to hide that fact, so it was a bit confusing how someone could miss the fact that he hadn't eaten it so easily. "I dunno, I'll let you know when I actually eat it," he responded, trying to oh-so-subtly hint that he hadn't even eaten it yet. It was then that the glaceon realized, just a moment too late, that perhaps so openly acknowledging he hadn't yet eaten the berry was going to bring about the topic he'd been trying to avoid.
Nevi awaited a response, but it seemed neither of the two quite knew how to react to the thought of being friends, as if it was some foreign concept. They didn't seem against it, just.... confused, which was odd to say the least. Either way, the two clearly knew each other and didn't seem to hate one another, but were they not friends? Nevi got to eating her berry when the other froslass whom she had been confused for started speaking, apparently not being beaten senseless enough to shut up. Despite Varda having a much kinder response, she couldn't help but feel it was a bit.... odd to be nice in this situation, though she figured it would likely bother the fiend either way.

After Sova began to say something, Jak couldn’t help but notice how difficult the question was to the ice type. I wonder what is going on in the glaceon’s head… Jak thought to himself. Just before Sova was able to continue though, the other ghost type interrupted the two. After his response to the ghost type’s question about being ignored, Varda had thanked it for reminding them about their task. The ghost type quickly being annoyed by the bird’s response. It continued to remain there helplessly as it was forced to listen to their conversation. Eventually, the ghost type decided to get a curiosity answered. ”hmph… You… Why do you aid these outsiders?” it asked, directing the question towards Nevi. Jak looked towards Sova when Varda asked if the berry was good, noticing the berry was still being held against his chest. Is this bird blind? How could it not see that Sova hasn’t eaten it yet…? On another note, why was it always so happy? A frown grew on his face as he started to think that the glaceon wasn’t going to eat it. ”Sooo, when you gonna eat it?” he asked Sova in response to his comment to Varda. ”Even if you don’t need it, it is still an energy boost for the road ahead right? No harm in it…” he said in a calm tone. In Jak’s mind, he was sorta trapping sova into actually eating the berry, however would it work? | |

| Varda eventually decided to sit down, figuring that if they were resting, it'd be really weird for him to be bouncing all over the place! Honestly... He felt like his body was already ready to do that, thanks to the amazing seed he had just eaten, but it would make no sense to waste all his energy on that! They still had a long way to go... Probably. The bird honestly had no idea, and maybe no one did, considering how the house was shifting its shape. The hallway seemed to stretch on forever, though, and he couldn't see any doors... For a moment Varda went quiet as he inspected their surroundings, snapped back to reality by the ghost-like Pokémon's voice.
The Altaria tilted his head and looked at Nevi who had been asked a question. But just so she wouldn't be alone in answering, he decided to chime in. "Oh, no, I think we're insiders now! Because we're inside. So it's fine," he chirped, wanting Nevi to know that it was totally fine to help them even if the other Pokémon didn't think so.
But there was still the problem with the berry. Varda blinked slowly, looking confused but smiling as he usually did, looking as oblivious as ever. Sova would let him know how it tasted once he actually... Tasted it... The bird's little beady eyes fell down, looking at the yellow berry held against his friend's chest. That was right, it seemed like not a single bite of it had been taken. It was completely pristine, as if it had just been picked from a berry bush...
"Ah!" The Altaria came to a realization, his expression changing into something much more alert. He hadn't even noticed that Sova hadn't eaten! But Jak had a great point, as the berry looked juicy. "Yes, yes, you should eat it! It looks good."
((Thanks, now you too can be as organized as I am with the help of that list.))

| Nevi turned her attention to the other froslass as it began to question her. If she had anything at all better to do, she would have ignored it, but she was't getting an answer to her own question so she really didn't have much to do. Why was she helping the "outsiders?" Well, in truth, outsiders were just more nice on average than residents. She had a witty remark involving "insiders" planned, but Varda beat her to using the word, making it so that if she were to try and make her own joke now, it would be boring and probably make her look like a copycat. She sighed at the adorable fluff-ball as she thought up something else to say.
"They're a lot nicer than most of the residents. Example; you," Nevi responded, pointing at the other froslass as she did so. Really, though, most of this group had been just as hostile to her. But they had actually stopped and even started being pretty nice. This was something she just never got from most of those who lived here. Sure, they didn't really attack her, but they just weren't.... friendly. Never wanting to chat or have any fun.... actually, maybe that wasn't quite true, as many of those living here absolutely loved messing with outsiders. She wouldn't even have been against such a thing if not for the fact that this usually included doing physical harm for no reason, which was just wrong.
Sova listened as the two froslass seemed to take over talking with each other, though it wasn't really a friendly conversation. It was always surprising to him when denizens of such an area quarreled. He knew it was a thing that happened, but seeing two clearly non-feral froslass who'd been living in the same house - granted a giant space-warped house - not liking each other was weird. He was surprised to hear that he was apparently nicer than the residents of the house, considering previous events, but perhaps this meant he'd been forgiven? Or maybe it was just Varda being referenced and not him.
The glaceon didn't get much time to think about this before having to continue his own conversation, and sure enough, he was instantly being pestered to eat the berry. Not just by Jak, but Varda was trying to get him to eat it as well! Great, how was he going to turn both of them down without causing any problems? "I appreciate the offer, but I'm not really hungry. Besies, you'll probably need it before me," he stated, carefully balancing the berry on his paw. He then tossed it back over to the charmeleon to further iterate his point that he probably wouldn't need it. Sure, that was a lie, but it was one he intended to stick to, at least until he needed to do otherwise.
It made the glaceon feel kind of guilty to know that he was, in a way, putting the safety of the others at risk. He was ignoring offers to improve his own health and risking being incapable of helping if anyone ended up needing the help, all for his own ego. But, it was important to him, it.... Surely he could have both! As long as he was careful about any fights and made sure not to burn too much energy, it'd all be fine....

Jak looked towards the ice type with a slight frown. He was pretty damn sure that Sova was just trying to be tough. However, there wasn’t anything more he can do at the time being as there is really no point in fighting with the fox about it. ”Very well.” Jak responded in a very plain tone as he caught the berry. Jak looked at the berry for a second then changing his view back towards the glaceon. It was very clear that Jak would disapprove of Sova’s actions. As Nevi had responded to the ghost type’s question, It only seemed to be agitated by the response. The ghost type glared at Nevi for a bit before responding back with its own retort. ”So you betray us. I don’t think there is anything meaner than that.” it said in a darker tone. As Jak had heard these words, he quickly turned towards the paralyzed ghost type. ”Betray? Let me tell you something…” Jak started as he approached the ghost type. ”The world is covered in darkness right now. Those music box pieces are the only clue to resolving the issue right now… You and that little stunt of yours back in the chamber. That doesn’t fly, and you are preventing us from helping others.” Jak continued in a very annoyed tone. The charmeleon continued to its path towards the ghost type as it remained there perfectly still, still having not responded back to what was said. ”So what do you have to say about that?!” he asked in a raised tone as he stopped about a foot away from the Pokémon.

| Varda was looking at Sova, tilting his head. No bite was being taken out of the berry, the Glaceon didn't even look like he was considering it. Concern flashed in the bird's eyes when his friend claimed to not be hungry – after all, they had been through a lot by now and they hadn't really been eating much. This little stop was excellent for a little snack, but Sova wasn't taking it. He couldn't really say anything about the Glaceon returning the berry to Jak, as the Altaria had done the same. But still, he had at least eaten something to keep his strength up. ...But maybe Sova would just eat a little bit later! That would be fine, right?
His attention was brought back to the two ghost-like Pokémon, the actual inhabitants of this strange house. Or at least he assumed they both lived here considering what they had said! It didn't seem like the two really knew each other, or liked each other… Which was sad. Varda looked sad, thinking of the sadness of not even being buddies with someone you pretty much lived with! When Jak decided to step up and talk to the Pokémon, the Altaria just nodded approvingly. He was sure that in the end, everything would be fine and understood.
Except then Jak started pretty much yelling, which wasn't really good! The bird Pokémon took a few steps closer. "Um, that's right! Things aren't very good outside and um, it's not nice to take things," Varda shared his wisdom with the ghost, of course assuming that as long as they told what was going on, everything would be different! Maybe she just didn't know that stealing was wrong or something? That was possible! "So it would be nice if you didn't, so we can see if we can fix what's going on..." | |

| Relief washed over Sova as the debate about the berry was quickly dropped. What a relief, that he didn't have to deal with convincing the others he was okay. Well, he wasn't really "okay" per se, but regardless, he didn't want to have to accept pity from others. He didn't want to have to upset anyone either, so it was nice that both wishes had been fulfilled. As if to be insurance that the topic of the berry and his health didn't come back up, the malevolent froslass kept on talking away. It was really asking for more of a beating at this point, but he didn't personally find it worth the energy required to inflict pain upon, and he figured none of the others would be particularly interested.
Everyone but him was talking to the fiend, so if he wanted to look all fine and dandy, perhaps it would be a good idea for him to do so as well? At the very least, with his general hostile nature, it'd probably seem out of place for him not to say anything at all. Plus the topic was of interest to him so it didn't really make any sense for him not to, no matter what way he looked at it. "It-" he began, only be interrupted by Nevi.
Well, it wasn't like he particularly cared whether he got to speak or not, and just trying was certainly enough to quell any worries over his health.... hopefully. All he had planned to say was that the froslass likely didn't care about anything they were saying, nor about the outside world.
Nevi glared at the other froslass as it accused her of betrayal, when in fact she hadn't actually attacked any of the other residents herself and only aimed to resolve conflicts. However, she waited a bit on speaking up as it seemed the others had some things to say. Most of it wasn't particularly nice, and some a bit ill-informed, but she wasn't quite sure what to say. Having an insider's point of view on this, she felt maybe she could quell the argument, as she didn't necessarily hate the other froslass and wasn't a fan of conflict. Sure, it wasn't exactly being nice to her and technically, she was being defended by the outsider group, but she felt Jak was being a bit inconsiderate.
"This is her home, and it's not exactly the most.... friendly place to live. Almost everyone who lives here is hostile for territorial reasons, you'd understand if you lived in a place like this. Maybe you wouldn't agree - I don't - but you'd understand. I don't agree with attacking outsiders but.... Jak, was it? You don't know her point of view and she's already down, lay off," Nevi spoke up, cutting Sova off in the process out of fear the glaceon would just contribute to the negativity if allowed to speak. It was a relief that he didn't try to say anything, as well as unexpected, so maybe that meant he agreed to some extent? | |

| Jak 16 Items Persim Band x 1
Others Pokemon 1 x Haunter 1 x Golett 2 x Sableye 1 x Litwick
Items 2 x Slumber Orb 1 x Warp Seed
Jak remained silent for a moment as he stood in front of the ghost type. He waited for a response from it. However, it just remained silent. Jak remained in his place for a bit longer, eventualling letting out a small sigh before the silence was broken by another. Nevi had started to speak, directing her statements at Jak as she defended the other ghost type. Jak Listened to her words as he turned towards her. When she was done speaking, Jak turned back towards the ghost type and stared for a moment. Nevi seemed to be extremely defensive about the other ghost type’s actions. Jak knew that wild Pokémon were usually very territorial. However, this was territorial aggression was it? The thoughts ran though his head once or twice, but it didn’t add up at the time. “I understand… but you wouldn’t.” the ghost type finally mumbled and turned her head. It would seem the paralysis was starting to wear off on certain parts of its limbs. However, it seemed it wasn’t willing to move. The ghost type seemed to have lost the will to fight after hearing Jak’s words. The only thing was, it wasn’t going to give back the parts regardless. It couldn’t give back what it didn’t have. ”What wouldn’t I understand?” Jak decided to ask the ghost type. Jak’s voice was much calmer now, and not filled with blind anger. The ghost type looked towards Jak for a brief moment, then towards Nevi. Was there something this Pokémon was hiding that it felt it couldn’t share? Jak remained silent for an extra minute before letting out a heavy sigh. He then began to turn away from the Pokémon to head back to the group. The ghost type would remain there as it looks back towards the fire type when it walks away as it thought to itself You would never understand. It would show absolutely no sign of aggression. If anyone were to pick up on the feelings of this Pokémon, it would be sadness and some hints of worry. Was this Pokémon evil or not? ((After a quick idea from kat, I found out the character isn’t supposed to be evil… So I am turning their attitude around a bit after that discussion)) | |

| Varda tilted his head as he looked at Nevi. Things were just going right over his head, and he didn't really understand as everyone was sounding and looking awfully serious… However, one thing was certain! No one was indeed attacking anyone anymore, the tension in the air was gone – even after Jak's rather aggressive approach, but the lizard-like Pokémon seemed to be calmed down too. Indeed, everything could be solved by talking and figuring out what was making a Pokémon do the things they were doing! Well, unless they were feral and couldn't talk, or something. That would have been an issue.
The bird's gaze shifted from one Pokémon in the room to another, Sova being the quietest in the situation, but he supposed the Glaceon wasn't really involved in it just like him. It was between that one ghost and Jak, for the most part, with Nevi bridging the cap of an insider and an outsider – or a new-insider, as he would have liked to put it.
And then, he smiled. Everything was just fine! Everyone was friends again. Or well, probably for the first time, as it didn't seem like some Pokémon were friends earlier. It was a happy moment, though it seemed like the ghost-like Pokémon that had attacked before was rather quiet and odd, but she was probably still aching after everything that was done. Fights never were fun. "All that's left is to just apologize, right?" The Altaria chirped, finally opening his beak to speak something, looking as clueless as he always did. | |

| Sova merely sat and listened to the conversation more after being cut off just as he'd begun speaking. He didn't care about being cut off, nor did he have anything important to say at the moment, so it wasn't a big deal. However, when the attitudes of.... everyone whose name wasn't Varda changed, well, then he became interested. Specifically, he held interest in what the other froslass had said. He knew what Nevi meant, and it seemed pretty reasonable; he also knew what was up with Jak's sudden change in attitude. Varda.... was still Varda, no change there. However, what really caught his attention was what the other froslass had said.
At a glance, maybe it would have seemed it were just adding onto Nevi's statement, that it would be difficult for an outsider to understand life inside a place such as this. However, its attitude.... the dramatic change, it was oddly calm now, especially if it was really agreeing that its hostility was territorial. However, the biggest thing was that it seemed.... maybe he'd imagined it, but the froslass' voice seemed a bit fearful. They had all made it clear they weren't interested in fighting more than necessary, so why would this ghost be worried if its motivation was as it seemed and it had clearly given up?
The only answer was that the motivation wasn't right. The glaceon's mind was a bit.... rusty, for lack of a better word, as he rarely used it properly compared to when he were younger, but this seemed to be a special occasion where he was actually going to make an active effort to think. The froslass had stolen Jak's music box pieces, right? Now it knew it had failed to stop Jak entirely, and on top of that, the charmeleon had found a new group who were already on their way to completing this so-called music box themselves. This meant playing the box was probably going to cause something that the ghost didn't want to happen. Well, considering its dramatic change in attitude and how non-hostile it sounded now, he doubted the froslass wanted the world to stay in darkness. What was currently known about the music box?
....
Melody of.... Awakening. Xatu.... really had sent them here to wake something up. And not just that, but clearly something dangerous. Where most would probably be at least a little bit worried here, Sova was merely excited. The others could leave if they wanted to, but if he was right, then this chateau was EXACTLY where he wanted to be! However, if his current theory was right, he knew this meant he'd probably be in trouble if he went to go fight some dangerous.... thing in his current condition. So, he decided to finally give in and eat something, though he wasn't going to dare accept anything from anyone else. The glaceon reached his injured paw into his bag and gently pulled out a seed, before tossing it into his mouth and biting down. Almost instantly, he began to feel revitalized.
--------
Nevi was relieved to see she'd managed to calm down not one, but apparently both sides of the argument! What a relief; she didn't have to take a side if both sides just quit! Then the big fluffy altaria chimed in, suggesting for everyone to apologize, which she liked. However, she figured the others probably wouldn't be too fond of apologizing, especially if they had to be the "bigger 'mon" and do it first, so she decided she'd be the first to speak up. "You're right, I'm-" she began, but Sova started speaking and kind of cut her off. Well, she supposed she couldn't complain, since she'd done the same thing to him moments ago.
--------
Nevi was beginning to speak, but Sova figured it was his turn to cut someone off now, so he did. Besides, he had something rather important to say. "I hope you don't think no one understands.... Who are we waking up? I hope they're fun," he spoke up, finally talking to the previously antagonistic froslass for the first time in a while. He had a confident smirk on his face, though in truth, he felt more hyped than confident right now. It was odd; just moments ago he'd been fearing the worst if the group kept getting into fights, but now.... now that there was the thought of a dangerous enemy in his mind, he was just excited.

Jak looked towards the Altaria for a moment as it stated that they should all apologize to each other. He wondered why the bird would think something like this was an accident or something to apologize to. There was an issue, and they had to figure out what that issue was. Why did this ghost type steal the music box pieces from his group, and why did it attack everyone here. ”You think you understand? You apparently don’t!” the ghost type exclaimed in a somewhat snippy tone. The ghost looked towards the ice type for a moment only to see how serious the Pokémon was. ”I, I can’t let you. No no no! You mustn’t.” the froslass began in a more panicked tone of voice. ”I… I refuse to tell you who.” the ghost type stated as it shook its head. It was quite clear that this Pokémon wasn’t going to say who it was. It was not even the slightest bit cheerful about “waking whoever up” at all. Jak stared at Sova and the ghost type for a moment as they spoke. He saw how the ghost type panicked as Sova asked who they were waking up. [i]This… can’t be good. he thought to himself silently. However, when he heard Sova state that he hoped they were fun. This made Jak rethink some thoughts about the ice type. He wondered what exactly he meant by fun… ”I have one question. This uh… person you don’t want us to wake up. Can they even fix the issue that is going on outside?” Jak questioned. The ghost type remained silent as Jak had asked his question. It seemed as though it wanted to answer the question, but for some reason wasn’t. It was either, it didn’t know, or couldn’t. Either way, there was no way they would get information about this thing from her. | |
