| First topic message reminder :
Varda was quite exhausted! The trip through the odd house had been very taxing already, but when he had to make a quick trip back to the little town with a Glaceon on his back... Well, it certainly had been something, alright! Luckily he didn't have to carry his friend back, as they had been lucky and there was a Pokémon who could deal with their injuries for a small compensation, so they could just rush to the spooky weird house as soon as their legs – and wings – allowed them to! They had lost some valuable time doing this, but the bird believed he had done the right decision on his own, without Sova's help...
The house felt strange this time. They had been through such strange rooms on their first visit, but now the door they took sent them to an odd, extremely long hallway. It was rather narrow compared to many rooms they had seen before, but the hallway was wide enough to let a couple of Pokémon to walk side by side. There were no doors the bird could see, there hadn't been any doors for a while since the last one they took. As usual, there were various candles on the walls lighting up the gloomy house, some dark spots left behind by the dim lighting. The floorboards creaked under the pair of Pokémon and the old wallpaper was ripped in many places, revealing old wooden panels.

| Varda glanced from Sova to the lizard-like Pokémon as his friend started to approach the hot-headed person- Was he supposed to do that too? He had no idea. He did take a couple of careful steps forward, still rather unsure as he kept eyeing the two. The Glaceon's words caused the bird to direct his gaze at him however, blinking. That had been a name, hadn't it? Jak? Was that what the other Pokémon was called – and did that mean Sova knew him? What was going on here!
Whatever it was, it was enough to make the lizard stop – well, at least accusing them, that was. The Pokémon did end up hitting something in the end, but it was the wall. The Altaria hoped the wall wasn't hurt, sympathy in his eyes as he glanced towards it. Finally, the missing puzzle pieces were being found to create a proper image. The talk of music box pieces made Varda's eyes light up as he looked at this Pokémon called "Jak", his excitement overriding any worry. "Oh, we have some t–"
Once again, the bird's speech was interrupted. A strange, unfamiliar voice echoed in the hallway, its position quite impossible to pin down. Varda still tried, his head swiveling from side to side as he tried to find the source. All of this... Was really confusing, the bird's eyes full of questions as he looked at Sova, searching for answers. Whatever it was, it didn't sound too good. The voice in the air did not feel very nice!
Despite being clear just a moment ago, the hall soon started to grow hazier, even making the Altaria worry if something had caught on fire! But it wasn't smoke. It didn't make one's eyes water or breathing get difficult, it wasn't black... But it was thick, making it quite difficult to see very far! Varda took a step backwards so he could stay close to Sova, not wanting to be separated in the fog. Despite the difficulty in seeing, some things did manage to make their way through the hazy blanket. Odd glowing lights started to approach, and... The closest glowing light was probably the lizard Pokémon, Jak!
They had been told to freeze, but Varda wasn't feeling cold at all! Besides, he didn't even want to freeze. Spreading his wings, he took off into the air to flap his wings properly, trying to push the fog away with the wind he generated. The fog was odd and always seemed to roll back, but he kept at it, trying to even keep a little bit of the ground visible...

| Sova stopped when the charmeleon's brain finally seemed to start working. Good, potential hostile situation resolved, that meant less work. Normally, he would have been all for a fight, but right now, there were more serious matters at hand. He was here for a very important reason that took priority over his own petty desires, and more importantly, he had to make sure he stayed in good shape in case he needed to help Varda with anything. Though this relief was short lived as a voice started up, one Jak decided to respond to with even more aggression. Had blind rage ever done this hot-head any good before? The situation only deteriorated further as a fog of sorts rolled in from seemingly nowhere and more light sources appeared. The lights had a purplish hue to them in contrast to normal candlelight and Jak's tail flame, so this meant they were probably from a pokemon other than the charmeleon. The glaceon already knew all three of the Litwick evolution line tended to live here, so it wasn't hard to gather that these lights were one of those three. Hopefully, they weren't all chandelure. If they were just mere litwick, he probably wouldn't even have to help fighting them. However, the fog was making it difficult to see despite a certain altaria's attempts at blowing it away, so he couldn't really tell what the lights were. Instead of darting toward one of the lights to fight, he merely sat down and patiently waited for something to happen, looking back and forth between the two ends of the hallway. He did not want to fight given the current situation if he didn't have to, and even if these things were enemies, he wanted to just let the others handle it if they could. He'd picked up on the voice seemingly hinting at planning on using an Ice-typed attack, but he didn't really care, since ice didn't do much to him. However, Varda probably wouldn't like an Ice attack, so he figured he'd better at least try to solve things diplomatically. "Whoever you are, any chance you'd be interested in leaving without fighting?" he questioned the fog in a bored tone, making it clear he wasn't intimidated, nor was he interested in fighting. Nevi was relieved to have the situation resolved without any violence, as she really wasn't a fan of fighting, though she still disliked that she'd been confused for someone entirely different and approached with hostility for the false accusation. From the sounds of it, this charmeleon.... Jak, was it? Jak seemed to be here for the same as reason the group she was currently traveling with. She didn't get much time to think about this, though, before a different problem arose. Someone with a very malevolent tone to their voice began speaking and lights appeared, which made her worried and confused once more. Varda was trying to clear a sudden fog, the newcomer was.... senselessly raging at the voice, and Sova was just sitting there. The last one was a bit odd to Nevi as she would have taken the glaceon to be one who would respond aggressively to this situation, but she definitely didn't have a problem with a more calm approach. (Enjoy your stay. Also I hope I didn't make any major errors in my post because I'm drugged on sleeping meds right now since I need to get to sleep early and I'm rolling so I won't be able to fix it.) - Lord E V carried out 2 launched of one Ruined Passageway :

Notes: Eff, RNGJak growled as it mocked him. He was still a bit upset at the ghost types for the theft. “Where’s the fun in that?” the ghost type said in a rather disturbingly cheerful tone. The wind began to get stronger and the temperature suddenly dropped further to near freezing levels. Jak immediately unleashed a torrent of flame towards the source of the wind, quickly heating it back up before things got too cold. “Aww, why don’t you like the cold?” The ghost type responded in a disappointed tone. With this, it started to appear from spot to spot, originating from the same direction as the wind. Jak prepared for this Pokémon to make contact in some way, only to notice that there was a wall of snow following closely behind the Pokémon! As Jak built up a second flame, he suddenly started coughing as the fire quickly was put out. “Ah ah ah, you shouldn’t play with fire.” as the ghost disabled his flamethrower ability. This only solicited a growl from Jak at the time.

| It didn't seem like Varda's wings could push the fog away. Every time he tried, every time he flapped his wings with all his might, enough to keep his body suspended in the air... Nothing. Some was pushed around, of course, but it soon rolled back in as if the fog insisted on being in this one particular spot – and nothing could move it. That wasn't good...
And even worse – the fog was quickly becoming much colder! There even was wind, yet somehow the foggy blanket stayed there, like it was always replaced by a new batch as it moved past them! The air started to twinkle with icy particles, the bird's breath turned visible. Once more, the hallway was starting to freeze and turn uncomfortable... But at least it hadn't turned into a horrible raging blizzard yet! Despite that, Varda couldn't help but shudder from the cold.
"I don't think I can remove it," the bird cooed, his flaps slowing down as he started to slowly fall closer to the floor, landing softly. It didn't seem like the situation would be resolved peacefully, causing the Altaria to frown as he glanced down at his toes. But! Then he got it, his eyes growing bright as he straightened his posture. Maybe he couldn't do anything about the cold or the hazy fog... But maybe he could help settle this without anyone getting hurt!
With one more quick shudder, Varda warmed himself up and opened his beak, singing a few notes to get his voice ready. When he felt like he was ready, he started to sing properly. The tone was soft and relaxing, but his voice strong so the lullaby could be heard properly.

| Sova sighed as the voice responded to him, declining his offer of peace. Well, at least he'd tried, but now what? The "attack" wasn't really bothering him, in fact it felt quite good to him being in a gradually cooling environment, but he knew this probably wasn't so for some of the others, specifically Varda. The bird seemed to be doing okay for now, though, and it seemed Jak was trying to warm the area back up.... or maybe just conveniently warming it in blind rage. Well, if a fight was about to start up, he supposed he would have to assist in ending it.
The glaceon remained seated for just a moment more as he began to hear a familiar singing, which he recognized as Varda's sleep-inducing melody. He flattened his ears to block out some of the sound, just to be safe, and decided to wait for just a bit longer and see if this would work. He got up and calmly walked over to the charmeleon as the singing rang out, speaking up as he did so, "May wanna block out the sound if you fall asleep easy."
While the bird continued to sing, Sova kept an eye on the enemies to the best of his ability in case any of them tried to attack. He wasn't particularly worried about himself, but there were three others he had to look out for at the moment. Not only that, but.... it seemed the one pulling the strings here was a froslass from the quick looks he was getting at it. Unlike the one currently in his group, this one was clearly hostile, which meant he could and would hurt it if it came to that. Now.... with this in mind.... he was kind of hoping the singing didn't work.
Nevi looked around at the environment and listened to the best of her ability as she tried to keep up with what was happening. How could everyone else seemingly handle so much happening at once? Well.... maybe Varda wasn't even paying attention, as that didn't seem too odd for the fluffy bird. Still! She wasn't sure what she would be best off doing in this situation. As she thought, she wrapped her arms over her head to block out the oncoming sounds of melodic singing to avoid falling asleep yet again.
Finally, Nevi decided on doing something she'd already done once today; guarding Varda. It seemed the altaria could potentially end this conflict quickly, but an attack from one of the hostiles could likely end the singing. She flew over to the bird and prepared to block any attacks she could if they showed up, though she hoped she wouldn't need to.

Jak stared at the wall of snow that was coming towards the group. A voice then grabbed Jak’s attention, Sova stated that he should block out the sound if he had trouble staying awake. Jak then listened for a second, realizing that a song was being sung. Jak quickly looked back towards the bird that had started singing at some earlier point in time, realizing that the song was probably something that would put everyone to sleep, he quickly grabbed his head to avoid any possible effects of the song that was taking place. It would be a bad idea to fall asleep in this situation. As the wall of snow continued along its path, the ghost type vanished as it giggled ”Enjoy your snow Teehee~” The situation would be dire for Jak if he got buried. Although the move isn’t something that would be effective on him, he still has the problem with being buried! Jak shook his head as the snow came closer, quickly attempting to use his flame thrower. The attempts being in vain as the move was still disabled. Each attempt he made was with very little success, he just couldn’t get the flame to come forth! ”Bah!”Jak eventually got an idea, taking all the things that had been upsetting him, including the raw anger he still had built up from the situation. Jak eventually focused it into a single point as he prepared his Dragon Rage ability. ”This better work!” he started as a light started to form. Jak was using his rage and focusing it into a beam of energy, his previous anger had fed it even further. However, he wasn’t entirely sure if this would stop the impending snowy mass. Just before he could fire off the beam of energy. The icy ghost type reappeared behind him with a fist covered in a glowing mass of ice. There is practically no time to react to stop the attack, and the second that it lands, Jak would lose his focus and his attack will fail. ((I Omitted my last paragraph about the 3 candles that surrounded the group :3 I felt I was taking too much control, please do as you wish hehe, just make it fun /shot))

| Varda's eyes had closed, as he was concentrating on his singing, but the sounds around him did force him to open them slightly to see what was going on. He didn't stop the singing, unsure if his voice was having much of an effect on the Pokémon closing in on them, as the visibility was quite poor and the couldn't even see them properly. Were they moving? Were they awake? He couldn't tell. But if he kept at it, maybe he would see, eventually. Nevi had moved closer to him, but the bird didn't think much about that, just continuing his song and getting lost in it once again. Their surroundings seemed like they were getting cooler, the cold air trying its best to penetrate the fluffy feathers keeping him warm... Hopefully it didn't happen and he could continue singing for a bit longer!
The group of Lampent that had blocked the four Pokémon in was still there, their purple flames glowing behind the icy fog. The cold didn't make it easy for them either, but they did stay a bit further back to avoid the worst of it, letting the Froslass to handle the situation inside the little area for the most part. But they could help, oh yes. They did have many tricks up their metaphorical sleeves, the flame inside them growing larger as they prepared to provide some backup...
...Though the melody from the bird caused them to hesitate, forcing them to listen. It caused their movements to become sluggish, their minds to become hazy... But they attempted to resist, one of the floating lamp-like Pokémon shaking slightly as its diminishing flame grew brighter once more, sending out a stream of fire in the middle of the icy cloud. It could see the Charmeleon easily, not bothering to target it with its flame attack, but the other three shadowy Pokémon... Well, they honestly were blending together and it had no idea which one it would be hitting, but it picked one of the targets with its Fire Spin, attempting to trap them in the fiery vortex.

| Nevi stayed near her new friend and kept a lookout for any attacks, ready to block them if need be. She paid no attention to the other two, figuring since both of them were so aggressive, they could surely take care of themselves in a fight. The lights that could faintly be seen seemed to be slowly dimming, which implied Varda's singing was working, but one suddenly brightened up, catching her off guard. It took her a moment to realize it was sending a fire attack in her direction.... oh, no, it was actually aimed at Varda! She darted in front of it and put both of her arms in front of her in an "X" formation, which created a green barrier around her and blocked the fire from reaching her and the bird behind her.
Sova paid close attention to the environment, keeping the best track of the malevolent froslass he could. It seemed the singing was working on the other enemies, but this one seemed relatively unaffected. There was the worry of the environment, the danger of which was continually growing, then there were the attacks. The enemies would surely start attacking eventually, unless of course they could be dealt with fast enough. More importantly, though, the environment was the most immediate issue. He wasn't particularly worried about himself being harmed, as it meant nothing to him, but the others.... well, Varda at the very least would surely not have a fun time being buried in freezing snow.
He noticed Jak preparing an attack, one that didn't seem to be aimed for the enemies, so it was easy to gather this was meant to stop the looming wall of snow. However, the malevolent froslass suddenly appeared behind the charmeleon, preparing an attack of its own that didn't seem like it was going to be avoided. He glanced back at Varda to see an attack being set off over there as well, but the bird had Nevi as a guard and she seemed to be ready, so he paid that no mind.
The glaceon bolted to the side to get a better aim at the froslass. Knowing he couldn't reach it in time, especially in his current state, he wasn't even going to bother trying to stop its attack from going through. Instead, he was going to use its moment of immobility to strike it down. A dark purple orb of energy formed in front of him and was sent flying toward the froslass, though if it were to successfully hit, the impact explosion would likely hurt Jak as well. Oh well, the lizard was in the way.

As the icy fist struck Jak, the light that was forming had quickly faded as Jak was knocked forward towards the approaching snow. As Jak fell forward, a dark orb of energy shot towards the froslass like a bat out of hell. Not having the time to react to the sudden attack, the froslass had been caught off guard. Upon impact, the blast was just large enough to knock Jak a little further. The froslass was now on the ground, with marks all over its body. It had taken a very rough hit. However, it seemed it still had some fight left as it made its way off the ground. ”Hee~… Th-that hurt…” the ghost type managed to get out. Despite the ghost type being considerably weaker, the snow still continued to make its way towards the group. Was there nothing that could stop it now? Jak groaned as he got up from the ground. He was in some pain, but not enough to keep him down. Having only taken a critically direct hit from an icy fist, and an explosion from a shadow ball. Jak looked back towards the ghost and growled softly as he started to run towards the Pokémon. ”Where are the pieces!” he shouted as fire started to erupt from his mouth, quickly enveloping his teeth as he clamped down on the ghost type. The ghost type didn’t have time to react when Jak jumped it. The jaws of fire quickly clamped down on it as the fire type pinned it to the ground. Jak’s jaws wrapped on its one arm and the other being held down by the fire type. ”Le-let go!!” it shouted out in pain as the fire type bit down harder when the ghost type struggled to get free. Jak wasn’t going to let go any time soon, not without information or a good reason to do so. The approaching snow wasn’t going to stop him though. He spoke through his biting, demanding the location of the pieces of the music box. ”I DON’T HAVE THEM! TH-THE OTHERS HAVE EM!” it exclaimed in pain. The answer wasn’t want he wanted, but his senses started to kick in once more as he let go. He figured, maybe the ghost type will just leave. It had been shown who is boss hasn’t it? Jak didn’t let his guard down, in case the Pokémon decided to attack once more. It would be pretty dumb of it if it did. The rumble of the snow now getting louder as it approached. Jak looked towards the direction of the snow, he had nothing left to deal with it… It would soon be upon the group if nothing is done. ((You both decide whether or not the froslass gives up, stops the avalanche or whatever... Whatever you wish is fine for it.))

| Varda sang, put he was momentarily interrupted by the feeling of warmth and a sudden flash of light that he could see even with his eyes closed. When he opened his eyes and took a look, he was greeted by fire, the flaming whips licking the air and some of them getting dangerously close, snaking up to the sides... But the front was completely blocked and protected. Nevi had stepped in front of him, forcing the fire to stay behind with her force field. It was... Effective! The attack had been stopped there, it didn't seem like there was any danger! In fact, the warmth from the fire was quite nice...
The bird closed his eyes so he could finish his song, figuring that it might be doing something when so many of the Pokémon had stayed back! Probably. He hadn't been able to see them well, thanks to the thick blanket of snow. The warmth and light ended up disappearing soon, however, the attack most likely ending and the Pokémon that had caused it running out of, uh, whatever it was a Pokémon needed to create fire. It was a bit sad, but it surely had to be easier for Nevi!
His song finished, Varda could once more return to this world. He wasn't sure what had happened to the Pokémon staying further away, but the other ghost-like Pokémon similar to Nevi was still around... Though quickly taken out by a blast from Sova, the Altaria shielding himself from the little puff of dark smoke that managed to reach even him. He... Didn't like it, though. Even if the Pokémon was mean, she seemed to be rather scared now that she was being overpowered and bitten! But, there was another thing he had noticed. A deep rumble, and... Approaching whiteness? The bird blinked.
"Um," the Altaria started and interrupted whatever it was that Jak and the icy Pokémon were doing as he took a few steps closer to the group, looking at all of the Pokémon one after another, his eyes confused, "How do we... Should we do something about that? It might bury us but I don't really know what can be done," he cooed, his wing waving at their surroundings to point out the snow that others had surely noticed as well, but by now it was starting to get so close that it would be a real issue if they just let it bury them alive...

| Nevi held her shield up as long as she could, though it began to exhaust her very quickly. Luckily, the fire didn't last too long and faded just as she began to feel she could no longer hold the shield up. The green barrier faded away and the froslass floated downward a bit toward the ground, panting. Varda almost immediately began wandering off toward the rest of the group, so she followed along despite wanting to have a moment to rest. She needed to make sure the fluff ball didn't get hurt, after all.
As Varda pointed out that perhaps something should be done about the imminent wall of snow, Nevi prepared to use Protect once more. She put her arms up in an "X" formation once more and waited for it to approach, but it seemed the glaceon had other ideas.
Sova watched idly with a rather bored expression as the hostile froslass was reduced to a pathetic state. He cared not for the unnecessary pain it was being put though, and in fact he probably would have been tempted to do the same himself if he were alone. However, what he did care about was the looming wall of snow. He glanced toward Varda and nodded in agreement, before turning toward the froslass who was still on the ground, now holding its injured arm in pain. "You're the cause of that, I'm assuming. Stop," he ordered.
The malevolent froslass merely smirled through its pain at the demand to stop the attack. "Too-.... too late," it responded. Sova shrugged and turned away from the creature, toward the approaching snow. He didn't hesitate for even a moment, as if he knew exactly what to do already and wasn't at all worried. That was because both of these things were in fact true. He seemed to just be staring at the oncoming snow, but as it neared them, it all suddenly stopped as if hitting some kind of invisible wall. Some of the snow managed to blow a bit closer before drifting down to the ground, but most of it just suddenly stopped and drifted downward.
"That takes care of-," the glaceon began speaking, but paused as something suddenly hit him in the face. The froslass had managed to get up and bolt at him with the last of its strength, forming ice around its hand before punching him in the left side of his face. He barely even moved from the impact, standing there with the frozen fist against his ice-armored fur. After a moment, rather than his armor giving in, the ice around the froslass' hand began to crack and fall apart. He lifted his injured paw, placed it against the ice-ghost's face, and pushed it away, knocking the weakened creature to the ground.
The glaceon didn't bother with an actual counterattack, as it didn't feel worth it to waste energy on this. "If you were a bit more intimidating, maybe I'd waste time hurting you, but you're really not worth it to me. Jak, she's all yours, do whatever you want," he stated with his still-bored tone, looking over to the charmeleon.
(Since you scrublords won't do it, I will. Fight to the finish!)

| Jak 1 Pokemon Lampent x 3-?
Items Persim Band x 1
Jak watched as the snow continued to approach, unsure if there was a way to stop it at this point. The only thing that came to mind was the one who started the attack. He was too tired to at that moment from overusing his abilities at the time. He had put a lot of power to them and was already tired from his previous travelling through the dungeon. Jak noticed the bird that Sova was traveling with was also a bit concerned over the issue. However, when he looked towards Sova, it looked as though he had a plan. Good… I don’t have much left in me to deal with that… he thought with a sigh of minor relief. Jak watched as Sova approached the ghost that he had just bitten earlier. The glaceon ordered it to stop the attack, it only responded with a smirk through its pain stating that they were too late. Jak watched as Sova turned away and faced the approaching snow. As the snow had gotten merely a yard or two away, it seemed to suddenly stop as if it hit an invisible wall. Jak just sat there staring at the snow when it wrapped around the wall slightly. Once the snow had stopped all of its motion, it slowly drifted downward and settled into its final position, blocking the path the group had originally been traveling before Jak had arrived. Jak turned around to see what the Altaria and other ghost was doing. However, just as he turned around, he heard a sound of something cracking after a blunt hit. Jak quickly turned back towards the sound to see the ice cracking on the ghost type’s fist after hitting Sova in the face. Jak wasn’t too surprised by the lack of effect it had on the ice fox. Sova then pushed the weakened foe off to the ground with his one paw and told Jak that it was all his. Jak huffed with a small puff of fire as he approached the ghost type. It seemed a bit fearful about another bite as it held onto its arm. That bite never came and instead, Jak took out a seed from his bag and brought it up to the Pokémon. The seed had markings on it showing that it was something that could paralyze you. ”On the house for your wonderful attempt…” he said sarcastically as he shoved the seed into the Pokémon’s mouth. The ghost type immediately hacked it up as it quickly became paralyzed. ”y-you won’t… see those parts again.” it said with a smirk on its face as it remained motionless on the ground. ”Ain’t that a shame…” he said as he glared at the Pokémon. A bluish flame forming in his mouth. The ghost type only sat there with a look of fear from its own mistake. What was the problem with this ghost type!? It just can’t stop making miserable attempts at attack them, and trying to agitate Jak, which it really was making him upset. However, he was done with it, and wasn’t having any more of it. He shot the wisp right at the burned arm of the Pokémon, causing it even more pain for its mistake. [color:6823=ffcc00]”I would have just left ya there, but ya know… Gotta open that smart mouth of yours…” he said as he started walking away from the injured ghost type. Jak started to approach the others slowly, wondering what his next move was… He had accidentally left Noel behind. What was he going to do now? He knew she could handle herself fairly well, no worry there. However, would Noel be worried about him? Well, that was to be seen. Either way, Jak now had a new objective. He was to get back those pieces by almost any means from the ones that stole them. That was unless the group he ran into had some of their own, then maybe he could join up and help them find more pieces. ”Um… Sorry for the trouble. I didn’t mean to mistake you for that crazed ghost over there…” Jak said sincerely as he waited a response from the other ghost type in the area. What didn’t cross his mind though, was the lack of other ghost types. Weren’t there three others also that wanted to harm them? He didn’t see their lights anywhere.

| Making eye contact with Nevi and Sova, Varda nodded as well. It seemed like everyone knew they had to stop the weird snow wall from coming much closer... But how? The bird was lost when it came to that part of the plan. He wasn't sure if Nevi could block it all, but the Glaceon tried some diplomacy! He was so proud at that, his little birdie face beaming with joy as Sova talked to the long lost sister of Nevi – who hopefully wasn't her real sister, as that would be awkward – that had probably caused the whole thing. However... According to the Pokémon... There was no way of stopping it now. The joy disappeared and Varda looked much concerned now, gasping. "Oh noo..."
That was bad! Could they stop it with force? It looked... Difficult. Some Pokémon had the ability to control weather, but not him! The air already felt very cold, the Altaria's breathing visible. He didn't want to know how cold it would be to get buried in the snow, he might turn into a bird popsicle...
But Sova didn't seem to be as lost. The Glaceon strutted off nonchalantly, catching Varda's attention. The bird blinked and followed his friend with his gaze, eyes full of questions that didn't get answers. It took him a while to realize what was happening, but when it hit him... He was amazed! The snow wall stopped just like that! It even started to lose its intimidating form, breaking apart and slowly receding as snow started to spill over to the sides. Everything went better than expected! Except when the Altaria managed to catch a glimpse of the non-Nevi ghost dashing at Sova, clearly up to no good!
"Ah–!" He managed to call out, trying to warn Sova... But it was too late even before he had opened his beak. This Pokémon was way too fast! Varda didn't just stand there, quickly running up to the Glaceon to see if he was alright, but again, he did not seem very fazed by it. The ghost was pushed to the ground, and the stage given to... Jak. The lizard-like Pokémon the bird had almost managed to forget, his neck slowly twisting to take a look at the approaching Pokémon. Even though it might have been deserved, he didn't really feel like anyone should be hurt...
And speaking of hurt, he remembered that they weren't alone in the hallway! But as he took a look around them, he couldn't see the glowing lights even though the snow had started to disperse. Where were they? Were they... Still around somewhere, hiding? Or had they left...? Or... Something else entirely? He had no idea, and that worried him – until he forgot all about his worries, hearing the Pokémon on the floor coughing and hacking.
"Oh, um, be careful!" Varda chirped, his warning probably to every single Pokémon in this room, their enemies included. Instead of being careful however, the ghost was burned, clearly in pain. The bird couldn't just look while something like that was being done, mean or not! Jak did leave her alone, but the Altaria did hop closer to take a look, even though he knew there was nothing he could really do to help her feel any better... At least she was resting and staying still, that clearly meant she had had enough and was willing to quit it, right?
Most of his focus went to the ghost, but he did catch parts of the conversation going on with the rest. For one, Jak apologized to Nevi, which made him happy inside as that meant everyone was friends! What was it that had even started all this? Remembering back... Ah! "Um, Mr. Jak," Varda cooed, raising his neck and inserting one of his feet into his belly bag, pulling out a few mechanical parts they had found in the mansion this far, "You were looking for... Some parts? Kind of like these maybe?"

| Nevi watched idly as the impending wall of snow was stopped, dropping her guard and going back to resting. She was certainly relieved to have someone else handle that problem, as she had doubts she had enough energy left to even protect herself from it. The sound of ice on ice caught her attention and she turned toward the glaceon to see he'd been hit, but rather than appearing at all injured, he seemed perfectly fine. Actually, it seemed the other froslass had been hurt from its own attack if anything.
She remained quiet as the others talked, though she was silently questioning Sova's recent change in attitude as it seemed odd. She looked at the charmeleon as she received an apology from him, crossing her arms and rolling her eyes in response. Of course she wasn't the right froslass, it wasn't like they were all the same! Apparently her utter cluelessness toward the accusations earlier hadn't been enough of a hint that she wasn't the culprit. The revelation that this was all over stupid pieces of junk made the earlier accusations just annoy her more.
Sova watched in an entirely unsympathetic manner as the froslass was dealt with, actually feeling the treatment was rather light. If not for being around others and currently already feeling quite self-conscious, he would have done far worse. The minor, laughable punishment it received for its actions was rather boring to watch, but he did like the touch with leaving it awake and paralyzed, forcing it to just sit there in full consciousness. Still, he would have been more entertained by something more.... painful.
Regardless, the situation was resolved and he no longer needed to worry about it. So instead, he focused on keeping up with the changing topic, something about parts.... Oh, right, the parts Jak had mentioned earlier when trying to be threatening and whatnot. He glanced at Varda and realized the bird was probably onto something in showing their pieces of a supposed "music box." Right, maybe that was what all this fuss was over! If so, they could just let the charmeleon tag along with them, since help was definitely not a bad thing in a situation like this. He was exhausted and tattered, so his confidence in his ability to face further dangers was.... a bit lower than normal, to say the least. He was more than happy to have some extra help around.
"Oh yeah, if you want, you-" he started, but was forced to pause as lightheadedness suddenly hit him. He stumbled a bit before catching his footing, but the lightheaded feeling persisted. In fact, it was only getting worse, and on top of that, he was beginning to feel weak, like just standing was suddenly becoming a huge task. Whatever he had been about to say was wiped from his mind along with his focus, all he could do now was try to stand. He didn't want to worry anyone, though, as this would surely pass.... but what was the reason behind it?
It took him a moment to manage to figure out what was wrong, but when it finally hit him, he felt terrible about it. He'd been suppressing his exhaustion for a while now, and he'd just done something that would have drained him even under normal conditions. He was on the verge of passing out from carelessly pushing himself. This meant he had limits and he'd reached them, but what was even worse, this meant he was now going to be a burden to the others. This felt awful, it was everything he'd wanted to avoid for as long as he could remember. But even worse, it meant he was not only risking his own safety, but everyone else's. He was not only a burden, but a danger as well!
What happened to the glaceon whenever he was pushed too far.... well, he really wasn't too sure about the details, but it was very bad. It was like there was another being inside him that came out when he couldn't handle something. Worse, this "other being" was not nice, even comparison to him, and while he didn't know the details, he knew he didn't want that around anyone he cared about. So he had to prevent himself from passing out by any means necessary while avoiding burdening everyone else with his problems. This seemed like a lose-lose situation, but he would just have to force himself to act like everything was fine.
Sova made himself stand up straight mere moments after suddenly stopping mid-sentence and stumbling, and did his best to look fine. "....If those are what you lost.... feel free to tag along with us," he stated, trying to pretend he hadn't just suddenly stopped speaking. He figured Varda would have absolutely no problems with enlarging their group, due to the bird's insatiable craving for socializing and whatnot. Then there was Nevi, who had gotten off to a bumpy start with Jak, but he suspected the froslass would go with it if Varda agreed.

| Jak 1+(15?) Inventory Changes -1 Sitrus Berries
(Optional Changes) -1 Sitrus Berry -1 Sitrus Berry -1 Sitrus Berry
Items Persim Band x 1
After Jak’s apology, the bird in Sova’s group called for him. ”Yes?” he responded as the flying type started to pull out a few mechanical parts of some sort. His eyes quickly widened as he saw the pieces. Varda asked Jak if the parts he lost looked like the ones the group had. ”Actually, they do! There is more than one set?” he exclaimed in a rather shocked tone, not expecting to be multiple sets of these things. Jak had a sudden realization, he wondered why there would be multiple… if there is more than one set, then how is it supposed to fix the problem we have? Is it just the song it plays perhaps? he wondered, however that question in itself led to problems as he had already heard the song once. No… then why wouldn’t the song work the first time?... The mystery just kept getting bigger as he thought about it more. The problem is far too complex for him to understand at the moment so he just brushed the thought aside for now. He would rather deal with the immediate problems for now. Jak looked towards Sova as he started to speak, however something worried him. He sudden stopped talking as he had stumbled. ”Yo! You alright?” he asked as he rushed over to aid the ice type. However, before he had reached Sova, it would seem that he regained his footing. Jak was about to question what was wrong but before he could do so, Sova continued his offer to Jak on staying with the group. ”That would be fine, but I think we need to rest for a moment… Here.” Jak stated as he accepted the offer, quickly going into his bag for a something. It took a moment of looking before Jak found what he was looking for, pulling out four yellow berries from the bag. The berries known as Sitrus berries, gave you energy and helped heal injuries. ”Eat this, and don’t complain.” Jak said with a slight grin on his face. He figured the tough ice type would try and say he was fine, but he wasn’t going to take it. It was very obvious that there was something wrong, which he assumed was lack of energy. He took out four berries because he felt it would be rude to not include the others as he knew he needed one himself. After Jak offered the berry to Sova, he would walk over to Varda and the froslass to offer them a berry. Once he reached the froslass’s turn for their berry, he would add one comment. ”I truly am sorry about my mistake… I… can have problems with anger sometimes.” he said softly to the ghost type, as he truly feels bad for the trouble he had caused. He absolutely hated himself when he loses control of his temper on things. Once everyone had their berry, Jak would begin to eat his berry. ((-1 Sitrus Berries and -1 for Varda’s berry and -1 for NPC for the hell of it… If accepted that is.))
