The Evil Within.

Azeral walked into the large cave system, she looked around a bit trying to see something, the light from the entrance was enough so she could still see in front of herself but she knew the cave would be dark. "We should hurry up Joey, i want to find that Pokemon soon, it must be scared in the dark cave." Azeral said in a worried tone of voice, she wanted to know why this happened and how this outlaw was involved, she hoped she didn't see him, she might end up knocking him out just from the rage of him doing something like that.

Azeral checked her bag, she didn't have any blast seeds on her, the main reason was so she wouldn't blow the cave up if she tripped or something, that would be very bad if they ended up doing that, Az just grabbed a sitrus berry and ate it, she was feeling slightly tired from training lately, she ate it in secret so Joey wouldn't worry about her though.

16 (21-20+15)

"Yea, I can't believe pokemon would stoop this low..." Joey said in a neutral tone. However his emotions showed more anger then calmness. Despite this, he remained calm as he traveled with Azeral. The newly evolved pikachu, still had lingering happiness that came with his new form.

It was all thanks to Azeral. If she hadn't given him that bell. He would have never evolved. Although, he was a bit disappointed after finding out the bell gets destroyed as he evolves... He really liked it, it helped him feel a sense of calmness amidst all this chaos.

Azeral looked around in the cave she didn't like the dark, well more of she didn't like the things in the dark. "I just hope we don't run into that outlaw, we would have to let him go and, i don't know if i could do that." Azeral said looking at the ground, she wished she just attacked the Pokemon in the hills but she knew this was best, she had to believe this was for the best.

"Hows your new form anyway Joey?" Azeral asked, it hadn't been long since Joey evolved so she wanted to know what it felt like, she had no idea when she was going to evolve, she hoped soon.

Joey looked towards Azeral for a moment as she stated that she didn't know if she could hold back from the outlaw. "I know you can... As much as I want to get back at him also... I am sure we be given the task of capturing him." Joey stated with a smile.

The pikachu continued to walk along the path for a while until Azeral decided to ask him a question about his new form. Asking how it was. "Uhh, honestly... I don't feel too different... It is just a little odd to be your height." he responded after taking a moment to think.

"Don't worry, That'll be fixed once i become a Gardevoir, then I'll be way taller then you." Azeral said with a smile, she couldn't wait to be that tall. Mostly because she didn't like to be standing in a crowd of freakishly tall Pokemon, that was almost always bad. "Lets just focus on the mission at hand for now, best to think about evolution when it comes out way."

Azeral walked farther in the cave, she could see slightly but not much in the dim cave, all she had to do was sense some fear or something then she'd be able to find who they were looking for, whoever it was they must of been very afraid right now.

"Azeraaaal..." he said with a very subtle smile. The pichu continued to walk as he repeated her name once more. Waiting for her to ask what each time. He would continue this up to two more times before he would let out a giggle. This all depended on her reaction. The final one he would let out a slight spark of his cheek to cause her arm to tingle.

A bit further ahead of them the cave was getting darker. Joey's energy would be useful if he let it spark out every so often at that point. Something he had done before in a similar location to this. Except it wasn't underground.

"Huh, what is it Joey?" Azeral asked calmly as Joey didn't say anything after that, she thought it was her imagination and went back to looking for the passage. Joey soon called her name again the same way, this time she knew it wasn't in her head. "What's up Joey?" Azeral questioned again but still got nothing, shrugging she turned back around and kept going towards wherever.

"Jooooeeeey." Azeral repeated finally seeing what the Pikachu was doing, fool me once shame on you, fool me trice shame on me. Azeral felt the shock but ignored it, they have a mission to do.

Even after evolution, Joey was still the same old fun, and playful friend. Despite the odd calamity that is spreading around the world. The past days events had lightened his mood a bit. Evolution being on top of the highlights.

"Hey Azeral, I can use my electricity to produce some light when we need it!" he said in a cheerful tone. Perhaps this could help Azeral get over the fact it was dark in the cave. It was worth a shot at least... right?

Azeral smiled, some electricity would be good but she just needed to adjust to the darkness. "Thanks but i don't know if a light in a cave where the Pokemon are accustomed to darkness is a good idea, it might attract too much attention." Azeral said still looking for what they needed to find.

Azeral looked around the area, maybe it would be better to shed some light real quickly. "Actually Joey maybe a little bit of light here would be a good idea, just enough to see though." Az said not knowing how else they would find a secret passage way.

Joey thought for a moment at Azeral's comment. It was pretty obvious that this was common sense, however he had completely forgotten about it. "Oh... Yea your right." he said with a slight sigh as he looked around for a moment.

Joey was about to start moving ahead again when Azeral stated that it might actually be a good idea to get a little light. Enough to see when it got too dark. "Alright." he said as he slowly charged up his energy. He didn't want to charge too much, otherwise he would be letting out sparks too often and cause too much light to be produced.

Eventually a spark popped off his cheek emitting a very low amount of light. Having them pop off every couple of seconds, about a second after the previous fades away. This produced a steady, but very subtle light that gave just enough detail to show outlines of things. Once they became accustomed to that, they should see everything in full detail.

Coaster carried out 1 launched of one Serene Cave :

Azeral backed up to give Joey some room, also in case he accidentally did something stupid, she didn't think it would happen but better to be safe then sorry. As she backed up she tripped over something popping out of the ground, with a small yelp of surprise she tumbled backwards and, through a paper wall making a hole in it, Azeral shook her head and looked at the hole she made.

"Joey, i think i found the passage way." Azeral called out from where she was standing, behind the wall. From Joey's side it would appear that Az bashed through a stone wall, but from her side it was easy to see, mostly cause the back of it was white.

Joey looked towards Azeral's direction as he heard her yelp. "Az?" he looked towards her and then heard a voice coming from a nearby wall. It was Azeral's voice. Yet the only thing he saw was a stone wall. He then approached the wall and noticed a hole that is similar to his size punched cleanly through. He peeked inside the hole and saw Azeral in there. "What is this? How di--..." he looked around the corner of the hole and noticed the whole back side was white. "Huh?" he then poked the wall. This caused it to wave a little bit and a grin formed on his face.

He then took his tail and used the tip of it to poke a hole then he spun around tearing the whole paper down. "I am never going to overlook something like that again..." he said with a neutral expression. He was a bit confused as to how they got a paper that large to begin with. Considering they are looking for a lost pokemon that had been pokenapped... This had to be where the outlaw had hid the poor thing.

"Azurill has to be this way. Who else would put this up." he said as he lifted his tail. Small bits of paper was still hanging on it.

"As much as I'd like to not admit this, if i hadn't fallen we most likely would of never found this place." Azeral said wondering exactly how long this took to set up, buying it must of been awkward for most considering the only uses for it would be hiding something. "Ya lets go." Azeral said before noticing the bits of paper on his tail, she quickly walked over and took these off, there was no real reason she did this though, just to be nice she supposed.

"Right lets get going, poor Pokemon must be sacred to death by now." Azeral said wondering if the Pokemon was even awake, if it was it was most likely tied up, or running through the caves like a mad man, either or.

Joey made a slight frown at the comment. "Yea... Let's keep an eye out for more of those... Just in case." he said as he poked the wall. It was solid at that spot. He let out a slight sigh at this. "I hope there isn't any extra walls like that." he said as he approached Azeral. As they started to walk again, Azeral took the bits of paper off his tail. He let out a small chuckle as she did this. Still not fully used to his tail.

As they walked along the pathway, Azeral mentioned that the pokemon was probably scared to death by now... Joey couldn't help but to think the same thing. If that really was the only reason it was hidden.... It had to be it was trapped or something... If it had been traveling the cave, it would of gotten out on its own. "Do you think it's trapped?" he asked for a moment. Seeing if Azeral was thinking the same thing as him.

Azeral gave a small nod. "Yes i do, though we don't know how it's trapped, it could be knocked out, trapped or tied up. Each one is bad in its own right so lets get moving." Azeral said saying all the ways to trap someone she knew, she was sad she knew how to trap people but when learning survival that was just something you learned. "If there are any other walls I'll make sure to fall through them, maybe i can throw you and test every wall, that'd be fun." Azeral joked.

"I know we'll find em, after all we are White rank now, we should be good enough for this mission."
