Chateau of darkness

Dark clouds have been gathering, seemingly all over the world from a many point of views. These clouds, are not natural... Jak had been wondering in town that same day the clouds started forming.

Pokemon had been starting to act strange. They go missing, and then when they return... They have gone completely insane. Attacking others for no apparent reason and losing their memories!

Jak had approached Xatu as he was delivering a message. Xatu had came into town that day to bring news. His usual cryptic message was completely straight forward. This illness... was it possibly affecting him also?

The only thing that he did not get a direct answer was the location of this chamber... His best guess though was this one location that is said to have many ghosts. He started to make his way towards this land, where a lonely house sat atop of.

Jak had traveled towards the Ruined Chateau in search of the cause of this issue, and possibly the fix. Upon arriving, the sky was still just as dark as it was back at town. "hmmm... I hope this is the place." he said to his partner for this mission he set out on.

Once Noel heard Jak yell out trap Noel Leaped backwards, she ended up dropping something from her unstrapped backpack, a reviver seed, one of her last. Noel stopped herself after going through a door, as she did the Shuppet followed her through and made another attempt to strike her with a Shadow ball.

Noel was more prepared this time and threw her Bone rush attack at the Pokemon causing the ball to be blown up mid attack right in the Shuppets face, Noel then ran forward and caught the bone, spinning on her heel she applied the momentum from her spin and power right into the Shuppets face, this caused it to sail backwards and go through one of the far walls.

Noel looked up to see the Sableye, she stood straight with her Bone facing the ground standing in a ready stance.

Jak still being encased in rocks struggled to break free from them. The rocks just kept getting tighter as they squeezed him. "Raaaggghh!!" he started to release as much fire as possible. Attempting to heat up the rocks as quickly as he can so he could break through. If they got hot enough, they should get soft enough for him to escape.

Slowly the rocks started to glow red, but Jak was on the losing end of this battle. It is taking more energy from him to do such a thing then he had realized.

The sableye had a grin on its face at its successful ambush. Looking towards the Lucario with its teeth showing slightly as it smiled. The ghost that had broke through the wall for the sableye remaining right behind it. It quickly vanished, quite literally! ^{Phantom Force}

"wehehehe" The sableye it let out its claws and started scraping them against each other as if they were knives. It waited for the Lucario to make its move. ^Detecting It would follow up with fury swipes after it avoids any attack the Lucairo had in mind. It would even use Noel's own force against her if it had to. Definitely going to be some foul play there...

Noel saw the other Pokemon had vanished, Noel didn't know the move but she didn't like it. Noel reached into her bag and pulled out a small seed, she held it not showing it to the other Pokemon. Noel then quickly ate it making it seem like a reviver seed instead of what it was, a blast seed. Noel then rushed ahead right at the Pokemon using a basic attack just so the Sableye would dodge her, spinning around she then bit into the blast seed and opened her mouth shooting at the Sableye that was trying to hit her with claws.

Without checking to see if the flames hit or not Noel leaped up towards the roof, only the room above vanished and became a large wall, Noel switched around her feet where her head was and hit the new ceiling. Noel slammed the Bone into the roof making a hole and twisted the bone so she'd remain up in the air, best to have a height advantage.

Jak still being stuck within the rock stopped briefly as he was losing too much energy. The rock was glowing red. He then made a desperate attempt to break free. First attempting to move a bit to make some space within the rock. He then started pushing with all his remaining strength to break out. At first it didn't show any signs of budging. Then it suddenly shifted, giving him room inside the tomb. "Heh..." He then began kicking the rock until it finally shattered. He burst through panting.

He looked quite beat up from the attack as he glanced around the room. "Where are ya you little shit..." he mumbled.

The sableye flinched as the fire engulfed it. It attempted to shield its face from the flames. Not doing much it then attempted to jump out of the way. The flames then ended and the pokemon looked around for a moment. It failed to see the Lucario jump up to the ceiling.

The sableye then noticed the rock tomb he had previously made shatter. The pokemon seemed a bit shocked as it turned around towards the now freed Charmeleon. "wehe... he..." the sableye was losing confidence in their attack now.

"There you are you little." he said in rather angry tone. A flame growing in the back of his throat. Turning a wicked bluish white color.

Jak fired the wisp directly towards the sableye and started charging towards it with a normal attack. The sableye was a bit startled but then got into a defensive position. It then hit the ground with it's paws once more. Rocks starting to rise around Jak once more. "NO YOU DON'T!" Jak shouted as a white beam of fiery energy formed and fired straight at the pokemon.

All of Jak's pent up rage was utilized as an attack of pure energy. Striking the sableye, the rocks quickly fell back down. The balloon like ghost then suddenly reappeared next to Noel as its attack was immanent.

Noel had crossed her legs and held on to the bone with them, Noel surveyed the battlefield a bit looking for the Pokemon that had vanished before, as she did this the wall above her vanished out from under her, this caused the Pokemons attack to miss but Noel had no way to land safely. "Crud." Noel said as she spun in the air and landed on her feet, though she did take damage in her lower legs from the fall, her legs started hurting a bit and she wished she had gotten attacked by that move instead.

Noel looked up to see her bag falling also, Noel ran out and caught the bag before anything in it could break, Noel then looked up at the Pokemon and held her paw in front of her, she then pulled it back her eyes glowing with a purple sort of energy, she then shot the psychic energy at the Pokemon, she was using Psychic on a Ghost?

The box Balloon ghost remained up at the spot where Noel previously was. If only for a few seconds. A bright light started to form where the ghost was. Eventually the light enveloped the entire room they were in. A blinding white light.

Jak couldn't see where he was going at all. The sableye this this moment to use Jak's power against him. Jak fell down as the attack hit him. The sableye seeming to be amused by the sight. Jak punched the ground with his paws as he forced himself up. He gave the dark ghost type a look that showed that if he didn't leave them alone... It was going to get burnt to a crisp and its ashes melted.

The pokemon seemed to freeze up as it saw him get back up. That look, showed pure anger towards the ghost type. The sableye looked around for a moment. As Noel had used her psychic powers, the drifblim seemed to glow with its own purplish color as it used its own against Noel's. Who would win in this power of psychic energy?

Instead of applying more force to her attack Noel pulled her other paw back giving it more power then the one she threw, while the attacks clashed Noel shot the new Psychic ball right at the Pokemon adding to her own power and breaking through the Psychic energy the other Pokemon threw at her, this shot the Pokemon right through the wall that had just formed and through another one.

Noel then smirked and stood up, she walked over to where the Pokemon was and picked something up, it looked like a bell, she rang it once and a soothing sound came from it. Noel placed it in her bag and looked at Jaks fight, she didn't want to interfere.

Jak stopped for a moment as he heard a crashing sound as something was launched through a wall next to the previous hole. The sableye seemed a bit more shocked by this than him however. Jak somehow expected this though. Jak then returned his gaze upon the sableye. A look of intense anger within his eyes. "You choose... Ashes?.... or-" the pokemon decided real quick what to do before he had to finish. The pokemon quickly went after its fallen ally.

Jak let out a small grunt as he didn't get to punish the pokemon further for the amount of pain he was put through. "Smart choice...." he said as he closed his eyes. Taking a deep breath for a moment. He needed to get rid of his anger somehow... So, he figured he would try the breathing thing again.

Noel gave a sigh and looked at the two items she had, it looked like they were missing a few pieces. "Come on Jak, lets get a move on." Noel said, she was weirdly calm despite the area they were in. "You need to calm down, just think of something that makes you happy." Noel said while looking for more items, she rang the bell once and moved on wanting to find where they were going, she hoped there wasn't more Pokemon.

"I think the Box is in more then one piece, though i don't know if more pieces are here." Noel said putting the items she had back in her bag.

Jak looked towards Noel. "Yea, lets get going." he said as he started to walk towards the new doorway that had formed during the battle. The moment Noel stated that he needed to calm down, he simply grunted slight. "Sorry... Just be happy to know I was calm enough to think. Some of it is from that one move... Uses up my anger to form a beam of energy... Some call it dragon rage I believe." he said in a much calmer tone.

Although Jak still had a lingering anger, he was relatively calm. Noel then rang a bell before moving on. Jak then quickly looked towards the table that had the bell previous, noticing it is gone. Ag good.. She found it. he thought. As the bell rang, Jak felt an odd calmness envelope him. He felt calm originally, but this just felt... Much deeper sense of it.

Noel shrugged and put the small bell in a more secure part of her bag, couldn't have it ringing every time she jumped after all, Noel looked up to see a small candle Pokemon waving at them, at first Noel thought it just wanted to show them the way then she remembered what Pokemon that was. "Jak, don't go near that Pokemon, its candle absorbs the life energy you have, just to make the candle burn brighter." Noel said walking the opposite direction.

Noel looked up, the stairs were back to where they were supposed to be. "Lets stay on the ground floor, if that changed while we were up there we'd get trapped." Noel reasoned and walked through another door, Noel had no idea where she was going but they already found the pieces, now to just go to the throne, right?

As Jak followed alongside Noel, he noticed a small flickering light up ahead. It was an odd looking candle that moved. Wait is that a pokemon? he thought to himself. Noel then quickly informed him not to go near the pokemon. She stated that it would absorb his energy to make the flame burn brighter. This caused him to flinch slightly as he backed up a little. Noel then started walking in the opposite direction, which Jak was happy to follow.

He didn't feel like having his energy sucked away for a silly candle. "So, any idea where we should go? The staircase is probably best to be avoided... I rather not get trapped up there." he said as he look towards the top of the stairs.

As Noel walked she almost stepped on the Reviver seed she dropped, bending down for a moment she picked it up and looked at it. "Can never have to many of these." Noel said with a smirk as she placed it back in her bag. "Well if you were gonna hide a throne I'd put it underground, so maybe just look for a passage that leads to the underground." Noel said her reasoning slightly sound, they had no other leads but that so best to follow it.

As Noel walked she heard something, sounded like some Pokemon. Noel glanced into a room and saw two ghost Pokemon, flying in the air not moving and staring out of something like looked like a window. "Best not bother them." Noel said walking past the door and on to wherever they were going.

Just before they started walking to the next room. Noel had stopped just before stepping on the reviver seed she dropped. Jak never knew it was their himself honestly. She then made a comment stating that you can never have too many of them seeds. "Yea, sadly though I only have about 3 in my bag." Jak said in a plain tone of voice. However, little did he know, Out of the three seeds he believed were reviver seeds that he brought. Two of them are actually a faux... They look practically the same as the real thing... However if consumed, you will have the normal affects of the reviver seed. However, shortly afterwords... You will be knocked back out by odd affects. The most common being uncontrollable laughter.

"I only have two right now, one saved my life while i was falling off a mountain, almost died." Noel said walking around the area, as she did something weird was slightly happening to the area around them, the walls seemed to be fading and leading them somewhere that didn't look like the house at all, it was instead a long hallway with nothing noticeable about it, sorta like a hall but there was no alternate path for as far as she could see. "Jak, i don't think we're in the Chateau anymore." Noel said crossing her arms and staring at the area, she didn't like this at all.
