| First topic message reminder :
Proteus found himself in a large forest. He blinked, looking around. The forest seemed rather serene, but at the same time it unsettled him. Even his instincts as a gyarados seemed to be cowering in fear rather than the usual desire to tear every living thing apart. He swallowed, looking to the ex-fluffy before lifting her to level with his eyes using his tail fin to carry the umbreon now. She didn't seem to be too hurt, but that still did not excuse the tactic the glaceon used.
The shiny gyarados placed the umbreon on a large flat stone that looked as if it had practically been made to be a bed of some sort or perhaps a pedestal [s]to worship the ex-fluffy[/s]. Proteus looked back to the cave, wondering if he should go help out, but the appearance of Sova somehow carrying Kira stopped him. The Lucario seemed to be passed out along with some burns that seemed to be fading quickly thankfully.
Proteus glared at Sova, once he had set Kira down, Proteus used his tail fin to scoop up the Lucario and place her near Dusk. Once he was finished, the tail suddenly and swiftly moved to slam into Sova, punishing him for such a stupid idea. Proteus normally was not one to do such a thing, but that was by far the stupidest idea he had ever seen as his life as a gyarados. He could have killed her! He could have broken something! They could have done that in a much more peaceful manner!

| As the glaceon glared at her Kira seemed to be unaffected. Her ability of Inner Focus assisting her in remaining unflinching, as she responded, "Wasn't talking about him," she spoke boldly.
Proteus looked between the two uneasily, what had gotten into Kira? Why was she suddenly acting so hostile towards Sova? He should really do something about this, "H-Hey, guys," he spoke, trying to distract the two away from each other, "Are you alright, not hurt right?" he asked again, "Once again i'm really sorry," he gave shot a quick glare at Kira asking for her to cease what she was doing. Her response was merely to cross her arms and look away with boilded his blood even more. He took a deep shaky breath trying to control his anger once more.
The flareon remained on the ground, awake, but pretending to have been knocked out cold. Truth was, he had been using Over Heat against the blasts of water, weakening them. He was much higher skilled than the gyarados, so the damage of the water did not do too much to him. He just wanted his knight to get a bit closer to him.

| Sova merely glared at the lucario as she responded, completely ignoring Proteus. At least his expression didn't seem like there was something seriously wrong with him this time, though. He just glared for a moment before finally speaking up, "Well, since everyone else here either will probably KILL him or just isn't strong enough, I guess I'LL carry that guy." With that, he pushed his head under the flareon's waist and lifted the Fire-type onto his back, not expecting anyone to even TRY to object. He'd known prior that this was going to hurt, considering he knew everything about every eeveelution, including the core body temperature of a flareon, but.... it certainly hurt more than he'd expected it to. It was like when the little Fire-type had been knocked into him, only extended. A lot. He flinched at the pain for just a moment before shrugging it off and putting on a dull expression to hide the fact that he wasn't invincible.
Dusk glared at Kira as well when she realized the lucario was talking about SOVA. While she could understand saying the rude flareon deserved a beating, Sova, at this current moment in time, was acting selflessly! However, her attention turned back to Sova as he decided to pick up the flareon himself. "W-wait, isn't that gonna h-," she began, but stopped as Sova just ignored her and did it anyways. She'd thought that given the flareon was a Fire-type, it would be very hot. Apparently she'd thought wrong? "Uh...., nevermind," she continued, feeling a little confused.

| Proteus flinched when the glaceon said that everyone was either too weak or going to kill him. He looked a bit down, hurt by the comment. He did not mean to do that, he was honestly trying to hold back the rage of the gyarados! Should he take some more anger management classes? No those only made it worse...maybe he should turn to medication? No, it might be dangerous to just self perscribe. Why did there seem to be nothing he could ever do? The frustration welled up from within, feeding the anger before he suppressed it again, changing his thoughts elsewhere, or at least trying to.
Kira didn't object to the glaceon carrying the flareon, she didn't care about them so why offer? She instead looked to the vaporeon, the one who had been weeping this entire time. The vaporeon seemed to have finally gotten over it a bit, and was looking up at the scene. She had stood up and reached a paw out as if she were going to say something but no words came out. She looked a bit concerned, obviously knowing of Flareon's core temperature and knowing of Glaceon's ice typing. Needless to say, she was worried that her ex was hurting him. She may have been enraged and frustrated, but she did not mean to harm anybody except slap the flareon around a bit until he learned to stop hurting her feelings.

| With everyone having fallen silent, Sova took a moment to think clearly about what they were even supposed to be doing, as he'd completely forgotten. It didn't take long to remember that there two things they had been doing before all of this commotion had started. Moreso, two things that only he had seemed interested in. Comforting the vaporeon and finding this "Guardian." He took a few steps in the direction of the vaporeon, making sure not to show any signs of pain to anyone in the area. "Hey, Avera, right? You haven't talked.... at all, so you're either really quiet or you don't have a choice. Guessing you're mute," he stated, pausing for a moment as he felt that his voice would potentially waver from the heat if he kept speaking without taking a moment to breathe. "Some guy, arguing with someone who can't argue back," he continued.
Dusk moved closer to Sova as he began moving, assuming the movement was probably a sign that it would be time to go soon. Of course, she was followed by the other umbreon, who was now at least being silent. Maybe it was because he realized the situation was a bit too serious to be mindlessly flirting. She didn't know or care about the reason, all that mattered was that she didn't have to listen to him for now. At the mention of the vaporeon being mute, she couldn't help but think how much sense it made.... After all, they hadn't seen this vaporeon speak, at all.... In fact, she hadn't even heard a voice from the Water-type when it seemed she was crying!

| The vaporeon nodded, but seemed to be pointing at the flareon on the glaceon's back with a concerned look.
Kira decided to keep quiet, standing up and looking around, her ear-dangling things rising as she used her Aura abilities to scout the area around them. A mild headache grew, causing her to flinch, but she spotted a nearby Vileplume, a few cottonee and petlil hanging around a tree but nothing of dire notice heading their way. That was, until a strange sensation filled her mind before it felt as if she was slapped across the face.
"OW!" she blinked, rubbing her cheek as if she had been physically slapped, "The hell?" she asked, looking to everyone in attempt to figure out who slapped her, though it seemed everyone was too busy doing other things to have done it.
Proteus looked down at the group, unsure of whether to talk and try to help or to simply sit down and shut up before he made things worse. Wait...he knew flamethrower, perhaps he could restore energy to the flareon with the flames?
"Erm," he spoke up, "Perhaps I could be of use to make up for what i've done?" he asked the glaceon since he was carrying the flareon, "Flareon are usually empowered by flames right? I know flamethrower, perhaps it...could help?"

| Sova tilted his head at the vaporeon as he tried to figure out what she was trying to say. "Uuuh.... I think he'll be okay, if that's what you mean," he stated, a little confused on what the vaporeon was trying to say. However, it had at least been pretty much confirmed that she was indeed mute, which seemed kind of important to know. However, before he could question if he'd gathered the correct question, the others began to speak up. Kira seemed to be hallucinating some kind of pain, or perhaps something had fallen on her. It made no difference to the glaceon, he didn't care. However, Proteus' words were ones he actually did care about.
He glanced up to Proteus before replying, "Well, that could work. It depends on whether or not he's got this thing called Flash Fire, because not all of them have it." He then looked back to Avera before continuing, "....Does he?" While he was well-aware of the vaporeon's inability to speak at this point, he figured that she could answer yes or no questions through gestures.
Considering the multiple potential conversation topics popping up, Dusk wasn't sure who to talk to. She certainly didn't want to talk to Kira or this other umbreon, so that narrowed it down a bit. Now her choices were trying to talk to the mute and debating whether or not to risk barbecuing the already-hurt flareon. She had nothing to add to the conversations at hand, plus, it seemed the group was functioning well without her input, so she decided to just not say anything for the time-being.

| The vaporeon shook her head when the glaceon said that the flareon would be fine, and pointed at Sova with her paw. When asked whether or not he had Flash Fire, she nodded. She remembered plenty of times her oh so lovable ex had jumped in the midst of flames to save her from the vicious outsiders and come out unharmed.
Kira was rather befuddled, what had caused that strange occurrence? She decided to dismiss it, though it had given her an uneasy feeling. She decided to pay a bit more attention to what was happening at hand, the glaceon was placing the flareon on the ground. She wasn't sure what was going on, and was rather startled when Proteus suddenly unleashed a jet of flames onto the fire type.
Proteus aimed carefully, trying to keep himself from pouring too much into the flames and spreading the flames across the entire forest. Luckily he managed to do so, but what caught his attention is that despite the red glow of the flareon naturally soaking in the flames, it didn't move except for breathing.
"Is it not instantaneous?" he questioned, wondering it there was some kind of delay. Was he not useful after all!?

| Sova watched as the flareon was covered in fire. He merely blinked as he waited for something to happen.... but there was nothing. He slowly began to put together an idea that he really hoped wasn't right, but he knew a surefire way to tell. As the gyarados ceased the flames and spoke up, he approached the flareon and responded. "Yes, yes it is.... Which means....," he replied, pausing to lift a paw in preparation to simply step on the flareon. "Get up or I'm gonna hit you. Harder than them. And I assure you, it will hurt," he stated rather bluntly. Honestly, he was completely serious, as his extensive knowledge on eeveelutions included their potential abilities. This flareon had Flash Fire, which meant that that amount of fire should have been more than enough to revitalize him.
Dusk watched from a safe distance as the fire shrouded the flareon. She couldn't help but wonder if he didn't actually have Flash Fire. When he didn't respond to the treatment, this thought seemed to become a more real possibility. When Sova proposed simply hurting the flareon, apparently assuming he was fine to get up or something, she turned back to see the other umbreon just idly watching. "Don't you wanna go try and stop him from hurting your friend?," she questioned.
The male umbreon simply shrugged at Dusk's question. "Eh, he's a jerk, kinda deserves it," he replied.

| The flareon was in a pickle now, but he remained still and 'knocked out' in hopes of the glaceon simply testing him. He figured that the glaceon would not actually do it after saving him so soon.
Proteus blinked and looked back to the flareon to find it lacking movement still. Useless again, of course. He had evolved, so why was he still as useless as he was when he was a Magikarp? He coiled himself up, getting a bit more comfortable he had grown rather uncomfortable with this situation. Had he made it worse for the flareon? Had he failed so horribly that he had damaged the flareon? No, impossible, it had flash fire. That couldn't possibly happen.
Kira remained silent, although vigilante over looking around and making sure nothing was trying to sneak up upon them. That strange slap bugged her. She decided not to voice it to the group, for all she knew she was simply going insane with having to hang around a GUILD MEMBER of all pokemon all day and she was trapped with him here to boot! Today just was not going well for her...

| Sova waited for a moment, holding his paw up, before seeing the flareon wasn't interested in cooperating. He simply shrugged at this and replied, "Your choice," before bringing his paw down as hard as he could. However, he paid close attention to the flareon the entire time, preparing to stop if there were any signs of movement. However, if the flareon didn't move, he had every intention of stomping on the Fire-type's side, not quite hard enough to cause any serious damage, but definitely hard enough to elicit a reaction from someone who was conscious. He knew enough about Flash Fire to know the flareon not waking up from that much fire was nearly impossible and he was out to prove it.
Dusk kind of wanted to wince as Sova brought his paw down to just stomp on the flareon, but she instead found herself simply staring. She wanted to see what was going to happen. Was the flareon going to spring to life just in time? Maybe try to play it off until it was too late? Or was he actually unconscious and Sova was making a huge mistake? Whatever it was, she wanted to see what the outcome would be. It seemed her leech wanted to see as well, as he was also staring and had been quietly chanting "Dooo it, dooo it," the whole time. It seemed kind of ironic that the espeon had complained about THEM being violent, considering the natives seemed to be just about as violent.

| The flareon moved quickly, not desiring the side pain, "Alright alright!" he huffed.
Kira was about to tell the flareon off, but something caught her attention, some pokemon who had been hiding out in the area seemed to reveal themselves and surround the group. A Torterra, Turtwig, Spewpa, gloom, pidgey, and butterfree seemed to be glaring at the foreigners now.
The strange mist around the area thickened, causing Proteus to become uneasy. The monstrous instincts within him suddenly silenced themselves, and screamed for him to run. Run as far as he could. Find water, and hide.
The pokemon stepped away, and the vaporeon seemed to flinch while the flareon looked around triumphantly, he was being saved! Hallelujah! The mist thickened before suddenly being sucked into a specific area, before a strange being that looked similar to Virizion the legendary pokemon appeared. It stood taller than any of the pokemon there, though it was still smaller than Proteus. It seemed to glare at them with extreme dissatisfaction, before the flareon cried, "O Great guardian! These foreigners! They assault me! Save me from their wicked ways!"
The flareon only earned a glare from the guardian, obviously not being fooled by the fire type's tricks.
"Intruders...why have you come here?" it spoke, its voice echoing from all around as if it had completely surrounded them.

| Both Sova and Dusk froze up as the area suddenly turned extremely hostile. It was beginning to remind both of them of the situation with the eeveelutions, only this time it was more.... flashy, with a twist ending. A.... big white thing! Dusk just assumed that this was the Guardian and it was just some species she didn't know of, but Sova, he had a different opinion. It was most DEFINITELY the Guardian and it was more than some species he'd never heard of. He liked to think that he knew a LOT of different kinds of pokemon and this was not one he'd EVER seen, read about or even heard of!
Seeing that no one else seemed particularly interested in answering, at least not eagerly, he decided to take it upon himself to engage the beast in conversation. "We have absolutely no clue. Hope you weren't expecting something better, because we don't even know HOW we got here," he replied, facing directly at it and showing no signs of fear. This was easy, considering he wasn't afraid. Maybe it was bravery or maybe it was just stupidity. Either way, he wasn't going to let this thing intimidate him with some flashy entrance. "Now, my turn.... I like to think I know pretty much everything that exists and you don't seem to fall under the category of "everything," so what the hell are you? And please, don't just say "The Guardian" if there's any other answer at all you could give," he asked, being so bold as to start questioning back at the Guardian.
"Sova, shut up!," Dusk whispered to the glaceon as he tried to just engage in conversation with the clearly very powerful creature known as the Guardian. This thing didn't seem like something that was going to tolerate Sova's general disrespectful attitude and she really didn't want to get punished for his bad behavior! That just didn't seem fair. However, her words seemed to just be completely ignored by Sova as he continued staring down the Guardian, awaiting his answer.

| The guardian looked to the glaceon, a look of absolute disgust crossed its face, "I am the being that protects this forest that exists to get rid of outsiders such as you. You have all invaded my forest, therefore I shall banish you all."
Kira was absolutely amazed, she was speechless about this. UNsure of what to say. This thing was going to banish them?! "Er, to where exactly? If i may ask," Kira spoke.
"Hell," the guardian replied, head held high as they looked down on the disgusting maggots that had infested this pure forest of innocence.
Proteus was too terrified to move let alone say anything. He was frozen to the spot, unable to move and unable to respond to anything.

| Instead of cowering or pleading, Sova simply continued staring at the beat before him. In fact, his expression merely changed to show he was more bored than anything else, his eyelids fell a bit to give a look that kind of said "Really?" What a disappointment this thing was turning out to be, with such.... uncreative lines. "Riiiight, well, as fun as Hell sounds, I'd much prefer to stay here for a while instead. I kind of like this place, sooo it'd be nice if you let me stay and let my friends leave," he stated, looking for approval of the Guardian since it seemed like one needed this thing's approval to do anything around here. Even if he could fight it, he doubted anything here would accept him if he did.
Dusk's ears flattened and she subconsciously backed away and lowered herself to the ground as the creature seemed to threaten to kill them all. There was something about THIS ENTIRE SITUATION that made her feel like it could do such a thing with ease and thus, she was extremely worried. "Sova, stop....," she muttered, too scared to speak up and risk catching the Guardian's attention.

| "I cannot allow you to stay. You must leave at once, the presence within you. I cannot allow to reside within this forest!" the guardian's voice rose to a shout of rage, throwing their head up before giving a stomp. The ground rumbled beneath them and a powerful blast of wind struck Kira sending her flying into the deep forest due to her inability to resist it and the sheer forceful power of the wind.
Proteus was blasted back quite a few feet, but his body was too large and heavy, it was simply caught by some large trees. There was a cracking sound as the tree strained to stay upright while the beast was pushed back against them. Proteus roared in surprise, before the wind against him suddenly strengthened and seemed to be trying to lift him into the air.
The vaporeon and the flareon seemed to somehow be unaffected as if there was no wind at all. The guardian glared at the new comers, continuing the attack and seeming to be attempting to lift them into the air with the powerful move, though was having trouble with Proteus due to his sheer size and weight.
