| The people of the Astare Imperium have become bored. A vast and technologically advanced empire, spanning far over the reaches of space, these people desire entertainment.
Thus, an edict has been issued. Gladiatorial battles shall be held and using the Astare's impressive technology, the greatest champions throughout time and space shall participate. With their consent, or otherwise.
So, choose your heros, and prepare for the games!
(Just make a bio and post it, people. I'm pretty casual on this one. Up to two characters per person are allowed, and I'll explain the death system once we begin.
Now get at it!)
If you are making a new character, just use the following format. Otherwise, just copy/paste.

| Character 1 (I'll introduce 2 later in the RP.)
Species/Race:Human
Universe: Star Wars
Name: Verd'ala Prudii'aliit
Gender: Male
Age: 33
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 198
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Hazel
Appearance: Verd'ala's body is that of a trained warrior. Not as large as a bodybuilders’, but not slim either. His armor is colored black with decorative tribal markings painted all over the armour in red. On the left side of his helmet, in gold, is the same symbol he has tattooed onto his face. These colors are marred in some places though, due to countless close calls with blaster fire, lightsabers, and the like.
Though rare, when Verd'ala chooses to remove his helmet he is not ugly. It would be better to call him rugged. His face is marked by a few small scars, He has heavy, hazel eyes, brown, straight hair, and is usually sporting light stubble. Running from his left temple to his chin is a large jet black tattoo that seems to twist and turns all the way down. This tattoo is meant to show that he is a member of Prudii'aliit or "Shadow Clan," in Basic.
Personality: Verd'ala can be a friendly, personable, father like figures at sometimes, a cold as ice, relentless predator at others. These two depend on the situation. Usually he will be friendly, but if he is on a mission, or if someone has betrayed him, he turns into a cold calculating, killer. He will never stop thinking, never stop hunting, and never give up.
Home Planet: Mandalore
Allegiance: Verd'ala, like all Mandalorians, says he is loyal to the Mandalore, and this is mostly true, but inside he does sometimes doubt his decisions.
Profession: Bounty Hunter/ Merc
Primary Weapon(s): Verd'ala is proficient in most forms of weapons. He carries with him a modified heavy blaster pistol with a longer barrel so the beam would have a longer range and better accuracy, a blaster carbine modified with an extra large power cell for increasing stopping power, an attachable grip, and a gas release chamber to avoid over-heating. On his belt is a traditional Mandalorian saber modified with a Cortosis-weave.
While Verd'ala considers long-range fighting to more efficient, he loves the thrill of close combat and believes it is the more honorable of the two.
Miscellaneous Item(s): He carries various gadgets such as a grapple hook and a Stokhli Spray Stick.
Biography: Born on Mandalore, Verd'ala was brought up as all Mandalorian children are. He began learning the art of war at the tender age of eight, along with rudimentary education in a public teaching system. The training was intense and Verd'ala was constantly pushed to his limits, sometimes dangerously. He almost died once during a survival exercise in the middle of the Felucian jungle. He'd been separated from his group and was on his own for about two weeks before a search ship found him atop a hill, unconscious and with his vital signs low. Verd'ala is still haunted by nightmares of that event.
He came from a small family, having only a sister, so they grew up very close. They even went through their childhood training together. Verd'ala has come to rely on her in tough situations. Prudii'aliit is a fairly old clan; know among Mandalorians for their particular skills in stealth and subterfuge. These lessons are passed down by parents and act as a coming of age journey. When a child at the age of seventeen was finally able to evade their parents for a whole week in an event know as the Prudii'ba'jur or "Shadow Training.", they would be given their ceremonial face tattoos, making them adults in the eyes of the clan. It was not uncommon for Prudii'aliit Mandos to adorn their armor with these symbols as well.
He finished school and went on to join the army, graduating third in his class, and focusing on special operations training. He served Mandalore the Lesser in the army for a number of years until he was killed and replaced by Mandalore the Vindicated. Verd'ala then decided to leave the army with a number of honors. He found his talents still needed throughout the galaxy in the form of a bounty hunter and a mercenary. They paid better too. Occasionally he'll call on his old team-mates for a favor, but he works mostly alone now. Verd'ala maintains the hope of finding a wife and starting a family someday.

| Name: Kol Kednar
Age: 38
Gender: Male
Universe: VAR.C_0044
Home Planet: Pundus
Appearance: Put simply, Kol could take better care of himself. With a shabby, hole-ridden trench coat he's owned for at least half of his life, paired with coarse leather gloves he looks a lot more like an electrician than a warrior. He has been called tree-like however, because he clocks it at a whopping 7"3, pretty tall even for his people's standards. You can commonly find small bits of debris in his lengthy dark hair, and he has a few permanently stained marks on his face and arms. The only visually pleasing part of him is his eyes, which are a deep green.
Personality: Reincarnation and self exploration are widely accepted concepts in Kol's homeworld culture, Kol being no exception. Believing that everything is a learning and growing experience, Kol is kind and insightful most of the time. Even in live combat he comes off as unconcerned, and sometimes even disinterested.
Primary Weapon: A TYO34, or "Matter Masher" as its affectionately called by the law of Pundus. Deemed illegal for being a hazard to environmental interest, they're a rare sight. The large, blunderbuss looking device weighs nearly 150 pounds and a widened muzzle. Use is simple - 1. Press against any solid surface 2. Allow TYO34 to completely consume and break down desired amount of material 3. Stand away from target as __ pounds of unstable, super-heated material completely shreds everything within range.
History: On Pundus, Kol was raised in a pleasant home with pleasant circumstances. No siblings, always enough to eat, and a pair of caring parents. But at fourteen, Kol decided that the life he was leading wasn't the one he wanted. So he left it all behind, and wormed his way onto the Pundus's sister planet, Vonyla. On Vonyla, Kol became involved in the Chargemen's Teon Brigade, a space exploration group that was known for not always upholding interplanetary code.
For the next decade or so, Kol learned everything he thought he'd need to know. How to fight, how pilot a ship, how to identify edible and non-edible foreign substances, and can fix up and figure out almost anything that can be called a machine.
Misc: He always carries around an ounce or so of sand in his pocket, hoping to be able to one day toss it in his enemies eyes as a weapon.

| Name: Shiori Toriru Age: 18 Gender: Female Epithet: Blink Strike Universe: One Piece Appearance: Shiori stands about 5'7 without counting her shoes and has light skin, originally hailing from the cold climates of North Blue. She has tawny brown, wavy hair that reaches just past shoulder length when worn down, but is usually tied up in a high ponytail using a pale blue ribbon that she is rarely seen without. Shiori's light green eyes can be spotted from beneath the wisps of her fringe and are normally found to portray the simple joy that Shiori feels from being able to adventure upon the world's seas. Shiori is lean and athletic, due to her training with her mentors, and is capable of a certain degree of flexibility in order to land quite powerful kicks upon her foes. When it comes to clothing, Shiori generally keeps it simple. If there's one thing she won't wear, it's skimpy or revealing outfits. Instead, she prefers comfortable clothing that allows her to move around, but doesn't take away from her capabilities in combat. As such she wears t-shirts of varying colours and patterns, and trousers that are usually form fitting, but made of flexible material so less susceptible to rips and tears during a fight. Shiori's outfits are usually accompanied by a pair of grey combat boots, (though during peaceful times at sea she may forget to lace them up) and a pale blue, military-esque coat that has light brown buttons, cuffs, pocket edges and inside lining. In colder weather, Shiori isn't likely to change what she's wearing, with the exception of doing up her coat instead of leaving it undone like she normally would. She will, however, accompany her outfit with a scarf and gloves if it gets to be too cold even for her, or if she's nagged to do so by other crewmates. In warmer weather, Shiori will often shed her coat completely and wear thinner clothes. She's not a huge fan of extremely hot places, but when it's pleasantly warm and sunny she'll take the opportunity to go barefoot instead of wearing shoes. Personality:Shiori is an exciteable individual who has a sort of one track mind for adventure and loves to both hear and tell various stories. She's very positive, but because of this sometimes needs others to point out the negatives of an idea before she acts. Though reckless at times in her search for adventure, Shiori is truly a caring individual and will do anything to help and protect those she considers friends. She can also be rather absentminded and sometimes decides things on a mere whim. Shiori has an interesting reliance on her initial instincts, especially when it comes to trusting people she's just met. Mostly, she prefers to make friends rather than enemies, but as with every captain on the sea, she can't get along with everyone and will openly state her disregard for an individual if they do or represent something that doesn't morally agree with her. I feel like I should add for this RP that Shiori does not agree with killing in cold blood and unless she has some personal grievance about an opponent, will prefer to go for a knockout than a kill, which may ultimately lead to her downfall. History:- There are One Piece spoilers in here sorta so I put it in a spoiler just in case.:
Briefly; She lived on an isolated island in the colder regions of North Blue named Chime Point. It was known to be cold and snowy most of the time, but outside influences caused an especially harsh blizzard there that ended up killing her parents. Shiori herself was picked up by a marine patrol boat and was taken care of by the marines until she healed. Eventually they reached the island of Chirroisa. Deciding that she didn't want to stick around and wanting to see the world, Shiori found an opportunity to slip away from the marines taking care of her and stowed away on one of the other ships in the dock after hearing the inhabitants talk of treasure and myths.
The ship turned out to be a pirate ship and unsure of what to do, Shiori hid away and managed to live from stealing small scraps of food here and there until she reached the next island. She continued like the for the next year or so, hopping from ship to ship, though as time went on her confidence grew and she would often find herself bartering passage with stories she'd heard from the ships she'd stowed away on. She found many allies on her unorthodox travels, though not without making a few enemies too.
Eventually, Shiori grew bored, having toured a large portion of North Blue in her time on various ships. She found herself looking for passage to one of the other blues and found a ship bound for South Blue. The ship would need to enter the grand line and cross the calm belt in order to get there and so were willing to take any help they could get on the dangerous journey. Upon this ship, Shiori met the dragonet fishmen twins Dusky and Echo. The three hit it off and became great friends. Once they reached the grand line however, they found themselves attacked by a pirate ship and Shiori - having only learned how to use knives - wasn't the greatest of fighters. Dusky and Echo however, astounded her with their unique skills and mastery of Fishman Karate. When the battle was over, Shiori asked the twins to teach her.
Though they were unsure at first, with Shiori being human and not a fishman, they did agree to try. Shiori ended up taking to the art like a fish to water, so much so that over time she began to adapt it's concepts into her own unique combat style. Echo also taught her the basics of observation haki, which she continues to hone her skills in today.
Shiori, Dusky and Echo opted to travel together once they reached South Blue and ended up joining a small time pirate crew. They continued like this until news of the Battle of Marineford hit the papers. The world was shocked by the death of Whitebeard and Portgas D. Ace. Dusky and Echo, realising that their home island was no longer protected by Whitebeard's banner now that he was dead, opted to return to Fishman Island to do what they could to help. This left Shiori with a choice; she could either go with them, or find her own path.
After thinking it over, Shiori decided that it was time for her to form her own pirate crew. The crew she belonged to now had no intention of ever entering the Grand Line, but Shiori wanted to explore the world and have adventures like the ones in the stories she'd heard on all of the ships she'd stowed away on. With this in mind, she parted ways with Dusky and Echo, island hopping as she had when she was younger in her search for suitable individuals to form her own pirate crew.
Eventually she met Caim Thyodor, Hayes Kunsei and Kyuumi who became the helmsman, cook and navigator respectively, and Jacky Gabor, a friend whom Shiori had met previously on her various travels through South Blue. They form the current members of the Chime Pirates, with Shiori as the captain.
Misc:Weapons / Combat Capabilities / Other Skills:Shiori has learned to use Fishman Karate, a form of martial art that relies on the user's ability to control the water around them to deal damage to their opponents, most commonly by impacting the water within the bodies of opponents. She can also utilize observation haki, a technique that allows her to sense the presence of others and also gives her limited precognition. (Very short term. Think predicting a move before it's used.) More killing intent = easier to predict. Shiori is also a strong swimmer and makes limited use of throwing knives, carrying three with her under her coat. Side Note; Shiori has a rather inconvenient trait of being overly vulnerable to heatstroke, which to be honest is probably why she dislikes intense heat so much in the first place. It is a particular hindrance when fighting or training in hotter places, as she quickly becomes dizzy from dehydration. There's other stuff I could add but i'm lazy and her full bio needs tweaks so I just put what was necessary rlly |D

| Both of these look good.
Wolf, I am slightly curious as to what exactly Kol is. Is he a "human", some sort of humanoid alien, or something completely different.
Otherwise, all good you two.

| Pundans are more or less just big humans. Aside from being bigger and and naturally stronger than an average person, he's a person. | |
