» Personality: Giles is a quiet pokemon who worries very much for the safety of his friends. He know that he cannot do much in the way of protecting them via fighting, so he does as much as he can to throw himself into the fray and soak up the damage. This overprotective nature can get him in trouble sometimes. He thinks that take more than he can and will try and hold the line until he can no longer. With this being said he has a very low self-image. In a world were other fight for what they want, all he can do is just roll up in his shell and wait it out. Also he knows that he cannot save everyone he wants to because he is to slow. This conflict can give him extremes on the emotional scale. He will generally be fine during day-to-day things, but if he slips up, it will take him a while to get back to normal.
» Likes:
When things go to plan- While he knows that this will not happen all of the time, it makes him less nervous. Knowing about his emotional state, he tries to keep himself as normal as possible.
Water- While this might seem very obvious due to his history, it still is a reminder of simpler times.
Fighting types – Seeing how he cannot fight himself, he is in awe of those who can, and how better than go in with nothing but your fists.

Deserts- From growing up on an island he cannot understand why people would go somewhere where water is very scarce.
Desserts- He just does not like the food that is considered dessert food.
Pokemon who are too big for their britches - Being one of the weakest considered pokemon, he really hates those who will look down on others like him.
» History: Giles grew up in an archipelago a long ways away from Grassveil. Looking back on his life, he did not have a very hard one. His community was isolated from the rest of the world and they liked it that way. They could stay away from all of the rustle and bustle of modern life. It was a very altruistic lifestyle they lived. As soon as he was old enough to hold his own he was forced out of his home. A huge tsunami came and washed away his whole town. Not being the fastest pokemon, he could not out run the waves and got shoved far away from where he once lived.
He spent a long time in the ocean trying to head towards the nearest land. When he finally arrived along the shore, he could not make head or tail of where he was. Soon he had to make peace with the fact that he would never find his home, so he became a wanderer of the lands. He saw a lot in his journeys. He saw that the normal town life was not so bad. He saw the goodness in the others as he was raised to do. However he saw something that he was not used to… evil. It probably is not has evil as someone else would think but he never saw it. He could not rap his head around stealing things, not even for good intentions either.
After traveling for a little while long, he found a town where he decided to live in, Grassveil. He lived there for a while, but then the heard the call for adventure. He was torn from the life he lived and the one he wants to. Soon he learned of the Guild in town. He could travel the world with friends and still come back to Grassveil. However he was afraid of the consequences that he might face in a Guild. Now the joining the Guild is a dream that he wishes to obtain.
