PostSubject: Nothing like Scrambled Eggs   Nothing like Scrambled Eggs - Page 2 EmptySun Apr 05, 2015 4:20 am

First topic message reminder :

Akuroma panted as he walked through the burning hot dungeon, his cloak tied around his waist. This place was a hellhole, and the Gallade almost felt like fighting the heat was going to be harder than fighting the Pokemon here. Why did he decide to come here, of all places? Well...it's simply because he hadn't been here before. A new area with new enemies and new treasures. The Gallade huffed as he stopped, bending over to catch his breath. He was dripping with sweat at how hot this place was. Straightening back up, the Gallade grabbed a couple of sitrus berries out from his bag, scarfing down the juicy fruit in an attempt to cool himself off.

Jak {20} +1 from page

The rain started to lessen a little bit. To a point where if Jak really had to. He could go out there, but it be a bit uncomfortable. The area was still covered in steam from the recent fracturing done to the surrounding rock.

Jak then noticed a few rocks rain from the sky. One heading straight towards him. "Heads up!" he shouted as he dove from the rock. The rain stinging him now. The rock the was sheltering him seemed to get smashed. "grrr, great... At least the rain is now so heavy now..." Jak said in slight pain. Each drop hitting him caused a slight hissing sound as he evaporated off him almost immediately.

Not too long after being forced away from the rocks. The rain stopped, along with the thunder. Jak seemed a bit worried about what might of went down. However it wasn't enough for him to go and investigate. He was too busy thinking about Fang.

Akuroma walked away from the unconscious body of the Braixen, the electricity from his fist dissipating. The Gallade sighed in exasperation, the returning heat and lessening adrenaline allowing the soreness from the fight to wear on him. As Akuroma began to walk through the thinning steam, he saw a crushed boulder, with three Magcargo slowly slithering away into the lava river. He pulled a sitrus berry out of his bag and began to munch on it as he watched the relatively slow moving Pokemon retreat into the lava.

As he eat, Akuroma looked beyond the boulder and Magcargo, spying a Charmeleon standing not to far off. The Gallade stared at the Pokemon, chewing on the berry slowly. It had a bag on it, so it possibly had some good items with it. However, despite the soreness beginning to disappear from Akuroma's body, he didn't know if he could keep his stamina up with how hot it was becoming. If only he knew a move that could cool himself off like that Rain Dance.

Jak {20}
Jak sighed as he moved along the river of lava. This place seemed to be filled with them. The river seemed to move very slowly, typical of most lava flows. Jak seemed to stop for a moment. Looking at a nearby burnt bush. The bush wasn't exactly what caught his attention though...

There seemed to be a few berries on it still. So he walked over to it and examined them. On this dead bush were two remaining Rawst berries... The other ones were of no good, being completely burnt.

"Heh... Not the best place to grow..." he said to himself as he picked the berries up. Placing them into his bag.

He failed to noticed the other rawst berry on the ground in the burnt bush though. He turned around to return to the path he was using to traverse the area. Failing to notice the Gallade on his side in the direction of where the boulder once laid.

PostSubject: Re: Nothing like Scrambled Eggs   Nothing like Scrambled Eggs - Page 2 EmptyWed Apr 08, 2015 5:49 pm

Akuroma watched as the Charmeleon began messing with a dead bush. The Gallade's brow furrowed as he began to walk up to the Charmeleon. However, the Charmeleon began to walk away, not seeming to notice the Gallade. Akuroma supposed that this was a lucky break, it'd make determining on if he should attempt stealing from the Charmeleon easier since he'd have more time to do so. The Gallade stopped at the bush, keeping a bit of distance between him and the Fire type. Looking down at it, the Gallade noticed not only the berry, but a few other items.

It seemed someone was trying to bury these items in the black dirt and work of the cooled lava. Akuroma kneeled down, finding several bands, a box, a couple of gummis, the berry, an orb, a seed, and a TM. Akuroma was shocked at how the Charmeleon seemed to have completely missed these items. Either it wasn't paying attention to the ground or it simply didn't care. Either way, it was a good haul for Akuroma!

Jak {20}
Jak had been traveling the path way along the river of lava for a minute or two now. Noticing the distinct lack of pokemon in the area. "hmm.. I don't like this..." he said to himself as he stopped for a moment to look all around. Feeling a bit wary over the thought that there could be an ambush somewhere around here due to the lack of other sounds besides lava bubbling ever so often.

He turned to the left, seeing nothing through the haze, turning to around he also saw nothing threw the haze across the river. However he did notice an odd seed just above the lava on the opposite side of the river. Looking around for a moment for a moment, searching for a method to get across. He then spotted a small solidified chunk of rock a little ways down. Making his way towards the layer of rock. He began to make his way across the layer of rock, about halfway across it started to crack. Being overly brittle due to cooling off so quickly from the rain.

PostSubject: Re: Nothing like Scrambled Eggs   Nothing like Scrambled Eggs - Page 2 EmptyThu Apr 09, 2015 8:36 pm

Akuroma watched as the Charmeleon began to cross the river a lava. However... why was the Fire type simply not wading through the hot magma? Certainly it, like all other Fire types, would find it similar to that of non-Fire type Pokemon wading through a normal river. Maybe it couldn't swim? Seemed plausible, seeing as how most Fire types probably avoided getting into deeper waters.

Either way, the Gallade noticed the Charmeleon's way across began to break down. "Oi, ya sure you want to be moving across that?" the Gallade called out, staying a few feet from the edge of the shore. He had a good reason to not get into the lava. He'd be toast! Delicious, Gallade toast. With butter. Well maybe not butter, but perhaps some sitrus berry jam.

(Houndour were thrown into the lava and were swept away. Magcargo left)

As the crack had formed, a Pokémon shouted from behind him. Jak turned around and noticed a Pokémon that had matched the description from what the Magcargo gave him. He then heard the ground crack some more. This time actually noticing it. "It is better then swimming in there..." Jak responded back. He then looked around the fragile slab of rock for another path across it. Noticing the section he was one was starting to crumble. "So, what brings you here." Jak asked the Gallade as he kept focus on the slab or rock.

He took another step and it make another large cracking noise. "Great..." he mumbled to himself as he looked up towards Akuroma. "Any better suggestions?" he asked the storm cloaked Gallade. He stopped moving to prevent any more damage to the fragile slab of rock. At some point he was going to either: A; dive into the lava and get the rest of the way across, B; try to get across and fall into lava, then make his way through the rest of the lava.

Akuroma chuckled, "And here I thought fire types loved lava," the Gallade said between chuckles. He smirked at the Charmeleon's question, "Eh, nothing much. I'm mainly just looking for powerful battlers." It was then that the Gallade took a closer notice of the brittle rock crumbling under the Charmeleon. The Gallade frowned at the Charmeleon's request for suggestions. "Hm... Got one. though I suggest you stay still," the Gallade said as his hands began to glow a bright blue. The Gallade slammed his fists into the ground on either side of the path the Charmeleon was taking, two lines of large, pointed stones sprouting from the ground and reinforcing the brittle rock. "How's that?"

Jak watched as the Gallade laughed, "And here I thought fire types loved lava,". Jak simply ignored the comment. "Hmm, Same as you with water. Too hot, it is too hot... Too cold... it is too cold. Same here with this lava.." Jak commented, feeling a little annoyed with the gallades comment, however he did find it a typical response from most. The Gallade then stated that he had an idea, then suggesting that he stayed still. After the response the Gallade's hands glowed a bright blue as it slammed its fists into the ground on either side of the path. Two lines of rocks emerged from the ground... Rising to support the brittle rock.

"That is better... However, I don't quite understand the help..." he said Aku with a puzzled expression. "How did you get branded an outlaw... other then the thievery that I have heard of.." Jak asked the gallade as he started making it the rest of the way across the rock to the seed. He then went to cross the path once more after picking up the seed, holding the seed in paw as he walked. He kept a distance between the gallade at first. However if Aku decided to approach him. He would remain there, remaining calm as he had no reason to fight at the moment. It also seemed the gallade might not had thought so also from what it had stated to him.

Akuroma smirked, waling up to the Charmeleon, "Eh? You know I'm an outlaw?" the Gallade asked. To think word of him had even reached this desolate area was quite incredibly to the Gallade. Then again, he did just have to fight a Braixen who was a part of the police. The Gallade was a bit miffed at this, to be quite honest. He wasn't pleased with the fact that his image was known almost all throughout the dungeons of this land. He'd have to take some countermeasures. But what? He certainly couldn't stroll into Grassveil and get re-dyed. However, that would have to be something that would be solved at a later date. Right now, he'd have to worry about this Charmeleon and see if he was going to act hostile towards him.

Jak chuckled at the comment, however he quickly stopped and just watched for any movements from the gallade. He felt that at the very moment, Aku seemed to be a non hostile. He was a bit curious for the reason he did not immediately attack. "Yes, I know you are an outlaw..." Jak said somewhat coldly. "However..." Jak said as he turned to the side facing upstream from the lava flow. "I still didn't get my answer... Why were you branded an outlaw... And why you would help me." he stated as he stared off in the direction of Furnace Peak.
~~~~~~~~
He felt that might be the next place he should search, after handling the current situation with a certain gallade. The situation to him didn't seem to be a threat. It seemed more of an issue of curiosity to him. "Anyways... I rather not fight now, if that is fine with you... If you believe in sparring, I might later though." he stated as he turned towards aku. Just as he had turned towards Akuroma, Jak noticed something fall of a chunk of rock that was previously pulled up from the ground by aku. He quickly turned towards it as he watched it fall into the lava.
It remained on the surface of the lava, shining. It seemed to be pulling Jak... Calling him for some reason. "What... is that..." he said softly to himself. "Hmm." he went to turn away and face aku again but found he couldn't look away from it. His gaze fixed upon the stone. He then decided he was going to get the stone and find out what exactly it was, as it didn't let him throw the feeling away.
He turned towards Aku, "I will be right back..." he said as he decided to just dive into the lava after the stone. Feeling it sting slightly as it was a bit hot for him at the moment. However like someone taking a shower, you would get used to the heat.
Swimming after the stone as if slowly floated along with the lava flow. Eventually grabbing it, having the feeling of it calling him cease immediately upon grabbing it. Jak then began to swim towards the edge of the rocks. He felt odd after he had grabbed it, that odd feeling of it calling him stopping so suddenly, took something from him. It felt as if it was a piece of himself. Eventually getting out the the lava flow, he looked upstream towards the rocky bridge where the gallade stood near.
He then looked at the stone for a moment and then began making his way back towards the gallade. Stopping just short of it, "So, can we agree to not attack each other..." he stated as he stopped walking. He then heard growling off to the side of him. Turning towards the side he saw a pack of flaming dogs surround them, and a large one step up in front of him.
"You attacked my pack." the Arcanine growled. Jak realizing where they came from. "... No, they attacked me." he stated in slight annoyance. The arcanine seemed to ignore his statement as it fired a large stream of fire towards both him and Aku. Jak quickly jumped out of the way as he shot embers towards the stream of fire to slow it down so the gallade could get out of the way.
Nothing like Scrambled Eggs - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Nothing like Scrambled Eggs   Nothing like Scrambled Eggs - Page 2 EmptyMon Apr 13, 2015 11:36 am
"Why was I branded? Well, lots of things. Battery, thievery, destruction of private and public property, harassment, disrupting trade between Grassveil and Rainfront, and a few other things. I only do outlawish things when I wish to, not because I'm inherently evil or some Tauros crap I've heard some Pokemon say." The Gallade thought back on many of the things he had done to be labeled an outlaw. It was quite certainly an impressive list since most other outlaws only had thievery or some form of harassment under their belt. Some of these acts probably stemmed from Akuroma's love of fighting.
The Charmeleon seemed hesitant in fighting the Gallade, despite Akuroma having shown no interest in fighting him in the first place. How would this Charmeleon know he liked fighting? Had Akuroma met him before? However, the Gallade's thoughts were interrupted when the Charmeleon seemed unnaturally drawn to something.
Akuroma blinked as the Fire type jumped straight into the lava, and after Akuroma had made this spit of land going across the lava river much safer! The Gallade was less than pleased, but once the Charmeleon had returned with a stone similar to the one attached to the Gallade's glove. Akuroma stepped back some. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. That was in the lava?" the Gallade said, somewhat weary of another stone popping up. Granted he's seen two of them before, however, those two seemed to be in a dormant state.
However, yet again his thoughts were interrupted. This time by a pack of Growlithe and an Arcanine, no doubt. Akuroma frowned, turning towards the Arcanine as it unleashed a stream of fire at him. Despite the Charmeleon's attempts to slow the fire's approach to Akuroma, the Gallade simply stood there, waiting. Akuroma simply pulled a seed from his bag, popping it into his mouth as he stood there staring at the oncoming attack. Just before the attack hit, the Gallade jumped up, nearly becoming a blur at the speed he was moving at as he landed straight on the Arcanine's back. Akuroma grabbed a hold of the fire type's furry coat and began to pull and push it around as the Arcanine began bucking, attempting to get the Psychic type off of him.
"Take care of the little ones! This one's mine!" the Gallade said with a smirk, one of his fists glowing a bright white as he slammed it into the Arcanine's cheek.
Jak looked towards Akuroma, nodding as he shot embers all around, directed towards each one of the growlithe. He was using this to determine which ones had Flash Fire. It had seemed only two of them had attempted to dodge the flames while the others stayed put, absorbing the small bits of fire he shot at them. "Fun..." Jak groaned as he jumped to the side as they shot embers with almost twice the amount of force he had done. "I am betting you love that..." he growled at the two growlithe that had fired the flames. He then noticed the other two had started making their way towards him at a startling pace as they were covered in flames.
Jak quickly jumped out of the way and fired a wicked bluish white flame at both of them, leaving serious burns on them. They howled in pain as they turned around attempting to clamp onto Jak. One with jaws of flames and the other with seriously sharp teeth. Jak just managing to dodge the flaming jaws of fire, His tail being caught by the other. Jak instinctively attempted to whip his tail around trying to throw the pokemon off him.
Akuroma laughed as he held onto the Arcanine, slamming his fist repeatedly into its head as the large fire type attempted to buck him off. The Gallade smirked as he jumped upwards, his hands erupting into electricity as he clasped them together. Akuroma plummeted back down, slamming his hands into the Arcanine's back. The Fire type was set alight by the electricity, sparks jumping off and hitting the ground around the pair. The Arcanine growled as it's body temperature began to rise quickly. The Fire type continued to endure the attack until it roared out, throwing the Gallade off while releasing a huge amount of heat and power. Akuroma rolled backwards when he landed after being thrown off by the Overheat.
Panting, Akuroma smirked, "You just became much more fun, Fluffy," the Gallade said before charging forward.
As Jak had whipped his tail to the side, he did manage to fling the growlithe off of him. Only to have the other one come charging at him, attempting to use take down on him. Jak sidestepped the attack as he fired a flurry of embers at the flaming dog. Some leaving some scorch marks on it.
The other two "God Mode" hounds came at him. He knew he couldn't use any fire abilities on them, else they would get a powerboost from their ability. They both fired a large swathe of flame towards him. He went to pull out his blast seed just as they began their attack. Hoping to use it to put some kind of damage on them, however just as he jumped away from the blast. Part of it hit him and the item he was holding. Completely incinerating it... "You little..." He mumbled as he threw the item as fast as he could, expecting it to explode at any point. However, this point never came... Instead it simply popped as it hit the ground and crumbled into ashes.
He was now getting annoyed with the two fire types. Jak then pulled out 3 green looking spikes.  The two fire types now charging towards him, engulfed in flames. "Lets play fetch!" He shouted as he threw the spike as hard as he could as he jumped to the side when the first one attempted to hit him. It struck the hound, howling in pain as it fell to the ground, sliding across the hot surface right between the arcanine and the gallade. It seemed to lay still for a moment before attempting to get up. The arcanine seemed to growl in anger when it saw one of his pack being taken down in such a manner.
The other growlithe stopped its attack just before reaching Jak, the pokemon growled and decided to retaliate against Jak's actions. This caught him slightly off guard, just before it hit him however. He put the spikes in front of him, hoping to stop it from reaching him. It didn't seem to matter as it still struck him. Knocking him to the ground and the spikes now partially impaled into the hound.
The last of the growlithe seemed to be on the side where Jak got knocked, preparing to blast him with its stream of fire. The other two remaining growlithe seemed to join the circle, as they prepared to blast him with fire. Just before they launched their flames, Jak threw a warp orb at one of them, having it yipe as it got warped away.
The other two then started blasting him with a never ending stream of fire. Jak attempting to endure the burns as he shot out a beam of fiery energy at the two. Seeming to knock them out. Dragon Rage.
Jak had several serious burns left on him after that, panting as he was on the urge of passing out. He went into his bag, and quickly got out a rawst berry for his burns. However just before that had occurred, he spotted one on the ground nearby. Quickly taking it and eating it. He didn't have the time to apply it to the burns directly, which he would normally do for serious burns.
