(OPEN) The Moonlit Marsh

A hooded figure trudged through the muddy marsh, the bottom of its cloak partially sunk in the dank water. Every now and then it'd stop to look at the surrounding area. It's red eyes seemed to glow underneath the hood of its cloak. The marsh around it was filled with noise, despite the sun having set quite a while ago. The figure stood there as it listened to the different noises. Gurgles, croaks, and chirps (much like crickets), the marsh was like nature's orchestra.

The the hooded figure was not here to admire the music presented to it. Instead it was here looking for something a bit more physical. It trudged forward, adding the sloshing sound of its own feet moving through the muddy water of the marsh to its symphony.

It took a few minutes, but Milt finally came to as the berry core bounced off his head. He groaned as his eyes slowly opened. Everything hurt. The Aron struggled a bit, eventally pulling himself free of the ground. It was then that he realized that Akuroma was still there, looking at him. Milt didn't know how to react. Why was the pokemon still here anyway? He blinked some, slowly reaching back and pulling out an Oran Berry and munching on it. Taking frequent glances at the Gallade.

Akuroma smirked as he watched the Aron, "You've either got very little brains, some big ol' balls, or both for you to try attacking me when you're so weak." The Gallade had no reason to fear the Aron, so there was no reason to need to move along just yet. The Gallade leaned forward, the bag of items he had just stolen hanging between his legs. "So, tell me, what's an Aron doing in a marsh? This isn't exactly the best of places for your kind." The Gallade's smirk widened as he stared at the Aron. While the little Pokemon didn't seem to have much on him nor was he very strong, he had shown himself to be quite interesting, at least.

"I'm trying to conquer this dungeon by making it through. I want to do that before I make an exploration team," he explained, checking his foreleg, just to make sure that Akuroma hadn't stolen it. It was the only valuable thing on him. There was a long pause, Milt being unsure of what to say, if anything. He looked down at the Gallade's bad. No. It was the Greninja's bag. "... You stole that..." he said flatly.

Akuroma smirked, "And? He lost it fair and square. If I see something I want, I'll take it, and if the Pokemon I took it from can't defend it from me, then that's their fault." The Gallade then stood up, beginning to walk away from the Aron. "However, if you're planning on making an exploration team, then I suppose I shouldn't be hanging around you. It's bad enough that I seem to be getting visits from exploration teams and police on a weekly basis, I don't need them learning anymore about me." Akuroma now found himself quite miffed at the fact that he stayed with the Aron. Becoming an exploration team member? Bah! There was nothing interesting in doing that. Following rules and regulations, having to help Pokemon on a daily basis for nothing more than chump change. The Gallade felt that if he had become one, he'd be nowhere near as strong or rich as he was now.

As he spoke Milt looked over to the knocked out Greninja, pitying the pokemon. A Sligoo and another Froakie were at it's side trying to wake it back up while staying wary of Gallade. They were obviously terrified by the fighting and psychic type. It was as clear as the scowl on his face that the Aron didn't like Akuroma's way of thinking, but it wasn't like he could do anything about it.

Milt got up as well as the Gallade began to walk away. He'd show him: he'd get stronger, to the point where he could finally defeat Akuroma and turn him in. Sure that would take a long, long time, but Milt was willing to wait. It would be worth the wait. He dared not say anything out loud, less the Gallade face him once again and put him down for good, but he doubted that Akuroma would take his threat seriously.
