A bewildered Deino wandered around aimlessly in Pecha forest, muttering and cursing to himself. It would seems he's searching for something. "Argh! Where is it? Where's that stupid exit?" Frustrated, he laid down on his stomach to collect his thoughts. "I Really wish I was a Hydreigon, maybe then I could able to see where I'm going." The Deino just sat there for awhile, figuring out how to navigate his way out of the forest. Walking around aimlessly wasn't going to fix the situation, especially when he's blind. So how is he going to find his way out?
"Maybe someone can help me? There gotta be someone here. Then again, calling for help will sure to attract Outlaws." Aaron, the Deino, had a perplexed look on his face. Eventually, he got up on all four of his hind legs as he figured that if he does encounter a bandit, or anything else dangerous, he might as well fight them. Considering that as training, he began to wander again, this time calling out to someone. "Hello? Can someone help me get out of here?"

| "I See, Let me try it out then." He sniffed a little to find the Tangela. Its rather faint, but he could smell it. "Huh, you right. He does smell grassy, but what If I want to find a a particular Pokemon who's the same species? He had to admit, he should of been more serious when his parents taught him those basic sense a Deino had to rely on. His brother could do it perfectly, but Aaron himself slacked off until now. If using his senses help him with navigation, he'll learn it. | |

| Silverdawn shrugged at the question, the scales on her back rippling strangely. "Well, from what I've noticed, civilized pokemon -that is, non feral pokemon- have more distinct scents than feral pokemon do. I suppose that is because civilized pokemon have not only their species scent, but the scent of the other pokemon they regularly hang around with, as well as the scent of wherever their home is. You just kind of learn it as you go along; its kind of hard to explain. Like your scent; it's obvious you've spent some time around my own species' line, but the dragon scent is stronger than the arbok scent." | |

| Aaron chuckled at the part where she said that he smelled like his father. "Well, I guess I have my dad to thank for that." Ah dad, you rubbed you stink all over me." Anyway, I see your point. to sum it up, I need more experience with this type of stuff." Yeah experience, but he need dedication if he ever want to learn Echolocation. Something he's sure that he'll focus on after he get to an Inn. "Is anything else I need to take note of?" | |

| Silverdawn hummed thoughtfully for a moment. "Most of echolocation is listening, so nothing I can think of currently," she stated. She then let out a series of clicks from her mouth by flicking her tongue against the roof of her mouth. "To start learning echolocation, one must first learn through clicks like what I just used. After a time, you can start to learn how to use other sounds, even the sound of your words, to 'hear' the location of objects. But that's a long time in the future, so let's just start simple: try and replicate the clicks I made." | |

| "Ok, Like this?" Aaron does as she said, and put his tongue on the roof of his mouth and back at the bottom to make a load click sound. "Ok, so replicating the clicks she made... got it!" After the short demonstration, he made a small waves of clicks similar to hers, listening closely as he does it. Although Aaron didn't get it the first time, so he tried again. after four to six attempts, he was about to ask Silverdawn on what he was suppose to do until it hits him. Maybe he wasn't necessarily listen to the sound he made, but the echo that call back to him.
He clicked one last time, this time hearing the echo of the click. "I get it now, I'm not listening to my own sounds, I need to listen to the echo. right?"

| Silverdawn nodded at the last words. "Yes. The echo is the important part. It takes time, but you start to learn distances by how long the echo takes to get back to your ears. That's why its called echolocation, after all," she said. She sniffed the air, and shuddered as the faint scent of rain came back to her. "But we'll have to call this lesson short. I can smell rain on the air; I believe a storm is coming in!" she warned. | |

| Ah a storm, while others find them to be cold, scary, and dangerous. Aaron find them to be relaxing. The way rain sound when a drip slides into the leaves, the way rain sooth Aaron's body after a long day of working out, it was something he was looking forward to. But he could tell that Silverdawn would rather be indoors by the way she warned him. "Alright then, lets go home before that happens. Wanna make a dash for it?" | |

| Silverdawn nodded at Aaron's question. "Yep. Follow me!" She said, and headed off through the forest, leading the deino to the edge of the Pecha Forest just as thunderclouds rolled in overhead. She winced as thunder boomed across the sky and lead the deino towards Grassveil Town. "I'm renting a space in Grassveil," she said. "It used to be a shop until... well, it's not a shop anymore, but its still where I live if you want to take refuge there for a while." she offered. | |

| The Deino followed behind Silverdawn, Thinking about her Offer. Should he take up on her offer? She already done so much for him. Then again he doesn't have anywhere to stay at the moment, and he wants to save his money. "I'll take up on your offer Silverdawn." He smiled. He owe her a lot for all that she was doing to her. He need to do something nice for her. The Deino sighed as another boom roared across the sky.
Being blind sucks, yes. But now, he might get around that.
