If it weren't for the whole being a water type and, you know, being able to breathe underwater, Ava would have been a bit more panicked about waking up underwater. The Oshawott's eyes fluttered open slightly as she groaned, feeling herself float as she found herself suspended in the water. Wriggling herself into an upright position, she glanced around at the coral around her, kicking her feet as she took in her surroundings.
Well...this is new... She thought to herself, starting to kick forward a bit, angling her tail to direct herself. Underwater, the scarf around her neck definitely seemed to take in some of the water, making the fabric a bit heavy. Maybe that was a poor choice to wear it when she had decided to...
Wait a minute. I don't remember deciding anything. How did I get here...? In hindsight, as she tried to remember things, she found that while she could remember plenty of other things, she couldn't think of how exactly she had ended up in the Coral Forests. As she had begun to move, she winced, putting a paw to her own head. It felt like it was throbbing a bit, maybe she had hit it on something? Well, whatever. If she just forgot a bit because she hit her head, she was probably only disoriented. She would remember in time. For now, it was time to explore around the area. If she had to take a guess, that was probably what she had gone there to do.

Zhu Li watched silently as the Oshawott asked for her shell, only to be given a task to do beforehand. Zhu Li herself frowned, it wasn't like the Carracosta owned the shell now. However, neither of them could really take on the Pokemon. The Oshawott, on the other hand, seemed to not care about that, pulling out her other little shell with an annoyed face. She wasn't really thinking about taking on that beast of a Pokemon was she?  

Zhu Li swam up, nudging the Oshawott aside slightly, "We'll gladly do it, do you know where this Binacle is, sir?" she asked. There was no way she was going to fight a Pokemon like this. Even if she were larger, he was no doubt stronger. Trying to protect the Oshawott during the fight would make things very difficult for the Lapras, as in this situation she'd believe swimming away would be the best option.

As the Lapras nudged her aside, the Oshawott turned and looked up at her, visibly annoyed with the larger pokemon. However, as she thought on it, she calmed herself down, returning to a more neutral expression. If the Lapras wasn't going to have her back, then she didn't need to risk picking a fight with both her and the Carracosta.

"'Dunno. Somewhere. Most likely around here. Glad to see one of you is sensible." The turtle pokemon simply grumbled out before turning away from the two of them, starting to swim off.
"I'll stick around here. Tell me when you've taken care of things." He continued, a scalchop still lodged in his shell. Ava swam a bit closer, looking up at him.

"Hey, what, I can't get my scalchop back first? It'd make things a lot easier." The Carracosta regarded her with a somewhat quizzical look, peering down at the Oshawott.
"It doesn't have to be easy, it simply has to be done. And you already have a second." She opened her mouth to argue, but simply settled with a scowl.
"Alright, fine. Let's get looking." Ava muttered, turning back to Zhu Li and nodding her head, before starting to swim down by the coral, beginning to search.
"I don't suppose you have any ideas on where to find it, do you?" She asked the Lapras, not even bothering to look at her as she continued her searching, swimming around the coral the area was named for.
