Akuroma walked quietly around the hill, scanning the area for any potential places to make his new home. Despite already having a cabin built back in the Blackspear Mountain Range, Akuroma felt that he was too isolated from other Pokemon. There weren't many to steal from in the mountains, and he knew that some Pokemon already knew where he lived. Best to find a new home, he thought to himself as he continued to walk around the hill. He had to admit, the area was idle. Rainfront town was right next door, and without a guild, it was basically unprotected. Especially since the only way to reach it from Grassveil was Serene Cave. If needed, the Gallade could simply lay traps in the cave to deter pesky explorers from trying to cross it.

Akuroma frowned as he pulled the Warp Orb out of his bag. "Huh, I don't think I've seen this type of orb before," the Gallade said as he turned it this way and that. He was tempted to break it and see what it did, but knowing what some orbs like the House orb and Sandstorm orb did, he was a bit apprehensive. A test subject would be best to try it out on, but the pair had already walked a good bit away from the Seviper and Fletchling, so they weren't much of an option.

Sighing, the Servine was nearly startled by even more Pokemon appearing. 'Gosh dangit!' Serena thought angrily. They had been provoked once, wasn't once enough?! They were trying to travel for crying out loud! Shaking her head, the Servine used Leaf Tornado on almost all of the Pokemon, but before she did, she let the harmless Spoink bounce across their path. She had seen one here once before, and they didn't attack. The rest of the Pokemon received a face full of Leaf Tornado.

Akuroma gave little mind to the battle beginning to rage, focusing more on the orb he held. As he stood there, looking at the orb, the Leaf Tornado the Servine used caused the Furfrou of the group of Pokemon to land in front of Aku. The Gallade, never taking his eyes off the orb, picked the Furfrou up by its neck before smashing its head into the orb, a bright light appearing before both the orb and Furfrou were gone. "Interesting..." the Gallade said as he stood there.

The only Pokemon left were the Fletchinder and the Gastly at this point. Using Leech Seed on the Fletchinder, the Servine used Iron Tail to finish off the Gastly quickly. Turning to the fire bird, Serena grimaced, and used Leaf Tornado, not liking her current situation. The fire bird had a type advantage against her, and she had no moves that were good against fire or flying types. This was a bit of an annoying predicament she was in, and it wasn't very good for her self esteem, either. The grass type felt like she couldn't beat the feral that was left, she glanced to Aku, despaired. It didn't seem there was anything Serena could do now.

With his test subject and orb gone, the Gallade's attention soon turned to the battle going on. It seemed the Servine was doing fine on her own. However, the Fletchinder seemed to care little of her attacks, quite easily shaking them off. It was then that the Gallade decided to enter the fray, his fists becoming coated in electricity.

The Fletchinder glanced over, noticing the Gallade approaching. It would have to take out the bigger threat, especially since it happened to know an electric type move. The Fletchinder changed targets, flying high up into the sky before decending down onto Akuroma. The Gallade groaned as he caught the Fletchinder in its attack, his thunder punch disappearing as his focus went to  defend himself from the Flying type's attack. The two were locked together, the Fletchinder flapping its wings vigorously, trying to break through the Gallade's defense. Akuroma grimaced as he pushed against the Flying type.

It was then that the Fletchinder suddenly erupted into flames, its wings beating ever faster. The Gallade yelped, losing his concentration for just a second, allowing the Fletchinder the chance to charge at him. The Pokemon's attack hit hard, knocking Akuroma over onto his back. However the Gallade quickly stood up, his arms glowing a bright green as he swung them forward, waves of psychic energy chasing after the Fletchinder.

The Flying Pokemon bobbed and weaved around the barrage of Psyshock following the first pair, getting ever closer and closer to Akuroma. It then turned suddenly diving back at him and striking the Gallade in the gut. Akuroma was flung backwards, skidding along the ground. When he finally came to a stop, the Gallade was panting, having taken quite a bit of damage from the attacks. The Fletchinder charged again, erupting in flames before striking Akuroma again and again, becoming faster with each hit. The Gallade found himself covered in burns and scratches, barely able to stand. The Fletchinder swopped around, preparing for one more attack to finish the battle.

As it approached, the Gallade chuckled, a wild smirk on his face. "Now this..." he paused as he straightened back up, his smirk widening as the bird approached, "this is a true battle!" the Gallade exclaimed, his species signature swords extending out as psychic energy seemed to explode from his arms, forming swords. The Gallade swung his blades as the Fletchinder closed in, the psychic energy and flames reacting with a large explosion, temporarily blowing the mist of the hill away and replacing it with smoke and dust.

From within the dust cload, the battle raged on, the sound of thunder and infernos erupting from within, seeming to clash as if the very nature of the two plasmas fought for dominance. All the while the Gallade's laughter rang out between the roaring infernos and bellowing thunder.

Hearing the maniacal laughter, the Servine turned. There was only a large smoke cloud from the battle stirring between Akuroma and the Fletchinder. 'He really is strong... I still think training at the dojo would be safer, though....' Serena thought. The Gallade was a good fighter, but too strong for her to fight alone by herself. She knew she was too low leveled, and the psychic type was higher leveled than Serena. This went through her head several times, almost convincing her to train with him.

Eventually the battle left the smoke cloud, the Fletchinder suddenly being flung out, the smoke of the explosion's cloud licking at its body while sparks danced around its feathers. Akuroma wasn't far behind, the Gallade racing out, one of his arms hanging limp at his side, the other raised with thunder coursing through it. In a flash of light, the Gallade disappeared, reappearing behind the Fletchinder. Akuroma slammed his fist downward, thunder bellowing out into the air as the Fletchinder was brought down onto the ground unconscious.

Akuroma panted as he stood there, the mist beginning to return as the smoke cloud mingled with it, the dust and debris settling back onto the ground. He was battered, burned, and not at all in good shape after the battle. However, the Gallade had the biggest grin on his face, this being the first time in a long while since he felt adrenaline pumping through his body. With the battle now over, however, that adrenaline was dying down, and the Gallade was beginning to feel the pain of his injuries. Taking out a couple of sitrus berries, the Gallade munched on them, the injuries on his body beginning to disappear .

"That was...... unusual." Serena told him. As long as he was safe she was ok with it, but Arceus, that was intense. "That Fletchinder was a worthy opponent, I see." The Servine muttered. In all honesty, she didn't think he needed to go all out and pretty much obliterate it like that, but she guessed that was just how the Gallade was. Shaking her head and briefly smiling, she suggested they start moving again before anything else happened that was a bit.... nerve wrecking.

The Gallade smirked, "Yeah, but not quite strong enough." The Gallade definitely had to give it to that Fletchinder. Even after having healed himself with the berries, he could still feel the ache of the other Pokemon's attacks. Akuroma was actually surprised he won, if it hadn't been for a few lucky blows, Akuroma was sure he would have lost to the faster Pokemon's barrage of attacks. At least it was a good battle, and the Gallade hoped to find more in the dungeon soon.

Serena grinned and nodded. Turning around once more, she continued walking. It looked as if Rainfront was even closer than it had been a few moments ago. "Amazing how time and distance flies, isn't it?" She asked Aku. This was one of her more fascinated and interesting questions that weren't typically asked a lot, because she read so many books full of information. All thoughts aside, this was still an amazing journey they were making.

Akuroma frowned as he saw the town, he was too close for comfort at the moment. He'd yet to determine the power of Pokemon living in and around the town. It was then that the Gallade turned, heading parallel to the town. "I've no interest right now to enter the town, I need to explore around here a bit more," the Gallade said, deciding he'd let the Servine decide if she'd continue on with him or not.

Serena nodded. "Alright. That's fine with me." She shrugged, and followed him. The Servine didn't see any harm in staying parallel to Rainfront, she could just go herself later on when she was exploring alone. Honestly, she thought traveling away and exploring more was ok, because she liked exploring anyways. Her tail swished as she walked, and the grass type drifted into deep thoughts. 'I wonder..... are Ramira and the others ok? It seems like they've been surviving in the best way they could, I guess.....' She thought, suddenly bumping into Aku. Blushing, she apologized immediately. "Oh, Arceus! Sorry Aku!" She yelped.

Aku looked down at the Servine, not even seeming to have noticed that she bumped into him. "Eh? What're you apologizing for?" Though, his attention soon went back towards the items he had spotted just before the Servine had bumped into him. He didn't move towards them, seemingly much more cautious this time. As he stood the, the red horns on his chest and back twitched, the only sign that he wasn't suddenly a statue.

In fact, he was doing something his species were known for, detecting the emotions of other Pokemon. Though it wasn't nearly as powerful as his counterpart evolution's is, it did allow him to be sure that any non-dark type Pokemon, save Serena, were around. The Gallade then began to approach the items, scooping them all into his bag. "Seems we keep finding items piled up. I'm guessing the Pokemon around here must have taken an interest in the items in their home."

"Probably." Serena shrugged, forgetting the accident about 11 seconds before. Sighing, she helped him pick them up, but gave them to him, and didn't take any for herself. 'I have no need for these items...' She told herself. The Servine was more focused on her plan that she had formed with Ramira before they fled their home town. She remembered the Zorua saying, "We'll meet when I evolve, and when you're a Serperior. Then, we can take on Obsidian Rift. I've wanted to go there all my life." The memory drifted back to the grass type like a dream. It had been so long ago since they had left...... How was Ramira getting along? Was she doing her own things?

The Gallade groaned as he straightened back up, stretching his back some. "Phew, I'm still a bit sore from that battle," Akuroma said, beginning to stretch as he stood there, his body popping as if he were popping bones back into place. This dungeon was turning out to be quite the perfect place for the Gallade. Plenty of items, plenty of potential victims, and plenty of good battlers. He was sure of it, this would be the perfect home for him instead of back in the Black Spear Mountain Range.
