Before Amnesia - A stoic warrior who is one to be feared in battle, he keeps an excellent poker face and attempts to give nothing away to his opponent. He is silent and brave, taking on any direct challenge given to him whether it be mental or pysical combat. He try to stay by Royalty's side, but when ordered away or unable to find one, he will simply wander about and give assistance to any allies he comes across silently. He's very picky about who receives the fruits that grow on him, and saves them for royalty or close friends. When met with strangers, he will try to avoid any type of conflict that wont have too harsh of a consequence on him and his allies. He thinks of nobody as a friend, just a temporary ally.
After Amnesia - A jolly fellow who remembers little of his past, showing the playful side of him that dealt more with relaxing than keeping to his duty. He happily helps any, but seems less keen on attempting to avoid conflict and more short tempered. The memories of his past being forgotten and the molding of his personality returned to complete and raw dough just waiting to be remolded whether it be through current experiences or remembering his past.

Before Amnesia -
☀ Doing his job - It gives him a sense of purpose and it brings in the money to care for himself. He enjoys working for his kingdom despite how little emotion he seems to show.
☀ Easy Challenges - As much as he likes a challenge, he likes them to be easy for him to figure out. He does not want to risk failure, as failure is just not an option now in the kindom of Victoria's father now is it?
☀ Royalty - They're what he lives for! They're the only ones who's orders he will follow without question, and feels that it his duty to protect them and assist them.
☀ Fruits - It's a weak spot of his, they're just so juicy and delicious, its practically all he'll eat! Very few people in the kingdom saw him actually eat though, as he preferred to eat alone with the Chef Octillery.
After Amnesia -
☀ Relaxing - Kicking back and relaxing is just so...well...relaxing! He likes to take it easy and not stress out so much about different things.
☀ Royalty - Although he may have amnesia, he still holds enough knowledge to know about Victoria's status. He still has the urge to assist and protect in whatever ways possibly for the young princess.
☀ Fruits - Still a weak spot, but he's a bit more open about it. Anything that grows from a tree, he'll probably try to eat it. He's less cautious about poisoning, and is probably going to get sick one of these days...
☀ Fun - unlike his workaholic previous self, he enjoys playing some games every now and then or treating things like a game. He will usually be seen around smaller or younger pokemon, as they are more likely to play. He is also usually seen as good with kids (NO PEDOPHILE)

Before Amnesia -
☀ Ignorance and Innocence - Those that are ignorant or innocent know nothing of the world to him. He feels that they have not truly experienced life, and will regard them like children.
☀ Difficult and Complicated Challenges - These types of challenges are too mentally stressful, he begins to doubt himself and will often spend longer on these than he should. Before a certain incident with a Charizard he used to be fine, but afterwards he became a bit too fearful of the same thing happening again.
☀ Failure - Last time he failed, death happened. Well, lots of death has happened around him, but it was unintentional death that was entirely on him. He will begin to grow panicked and stressed when he sees failure on the horizon, and will try to do anything to keep it from happening.
After Amnesia -
☀ Hard Work - Unless it's for Royalty, he doesn't really want to do anything other than have a good time. It takes up too much energy and his more positive out look on life suggests that he would rather have fun than to be bored and annoyed.
☀ The "better-than-you" Pokemon - he loathes those that think they are better than anyone else, especially the royalty! They're the only ones of more value than others, he equates his own life to the value of a simple peasant. He's always tempted to give those kinds of pokemon a lesson when their thoughts are expressed towards him or his Princess.
☀ Blood - For some strange reason, he gets sick at the sight of it, though he has no clue that it is because of his previous interactions in war. If memory returns it will probably induce vomiting until he's finally over it.
☀ Not Much Else - As an easy going and laid back personality, the tropius doesn't really dislike much else. He also has little memory to remember much of his life with,
» History:
Veriq was born in a simple valley where a king and a queen ruled, they kept an excellent balance in their reign, and his parents were able to feed and house him properly with a normal life. His life took an odd turn though, as he witnessed the military of the valley passing by their area they considered home one day. He was appalled by how messy it was, the king was at the front lines, marching and leading, but pokemon kept bumping into each other and things just weren't organized!
He left his parents to join the military, putting up with the horrid conditions and battling in furious wars. His loyalty to the royalty grew, until he became the stoic warrior that obeyed without question and came up with plans for the king in a more organized and effective fashion. Veriq led many successful battles with the King, fighting near him and assisting in anything he could to protect the king. However, the king's method of combat was rather...horrifying. The king was brutal to those that opposed him, and no matter how much his wife objected, he would always tear apart challengers to the throne, and set an example of them.
Despite being appalled by this method, he still remained to his duty. The tropius continued, one day plotting a flight path for a charizard, which had led him straight into an ambush and ended with the Charizard dying. The King was not too happy, nor too forgiving. The tropius was punished for his failure, being locked away like a prisoner, but instead of being objective towards the punishment for an accident, he accepted it. He should have known better, and done better.
When he was finally released from prison, things seemed to have...changed. There were less citizens around, the King's daughter had disappeared, and so had the queen. The king had ordered those who questioned it to think nothing of it, for it was no longer important. Veriq became torn, the king was royalty, but so were the queen and princess. He eventually sided with the king, and continued his duty.
Things changed even more, less and less pokemon were around, and they all seemed to be highly fearful of the king, more so than ever. When Veriq confronted the king about this, wishing to know what was wrong, he found that the king seemed to be...different. The king seemed more agitated, and upon being questioned, he had attacked the tropius! Veriq was no match for the king, and was sent to rot in the dungeon once more with horrid wounds and pain like no other.
Before long, there was an earthquake, and a boulder had struck the tropius's head, knocking him out cold. When he awoke, he remembered little, and he had awoken in a valley of rubble rather than a valley of lush life. He did not notice much around him, and remembered little of what he actually saw there. He took flight, and decided to leave the strange place he had woke up in. The only think he remembered was his position, and that Victoria was missing, and he needed to find her.
» Other: Due to amnesiac, this character can completely flip personalities and revert to his old self upon remembering things. His personality will change, likes and dislikes will change, and he will seem to be a completely different tropius. He is also notably older than most characters, but not ancient old, more like late 20s to early 30s. Some things may trigger certain memories, and his personality might conflict with the old one and may lead to some rather complicated problems...
Another thing, Don't ask why he's still level 5 please...i'd make him higher but Site rules say no and I really want this background.
