The darkness of Black Spiral

Serena walked into the cave with Noel, looking around. "It's dark in here... and I mean really dark." She said to Noel. The Snivy almost couldn't see 10 feet in front of herself. "I do know that when we get out on the other side, we'll be at the top, though." She said. That was something she had read in a book. The book had been on different mystery dungeons and their sub-dungeons.

Noel reached into her pack and she brought out her normal red scarf. She looked at it for a moment before wrapping the scarf around her neck and sighed. 'sorry mom' she said in her head as she noticed how dark it was. "Hold on" she said as she took out a blast seed and a stick and put the stick near the cave wall. She then aimed the blast seed up a little and threw it making a explosion that caught fire to the stick.."worked" she said with a smirk as she held up the new touch.

"Great. Now we can keep moving." Serena smiled. Now she could see 20 feet in front of herself. Nothing was wrong in here as long as they kept moving forward. Onward they went, and they hadn't encountered anymore Pokemon like from outside. 'That's good to know... maybe it will be straight on walking from here.' Serena thought, grinning.

"Hold on a sec" she said as she lowered her stance as her eye's turned blue. A red pulse goes around the area as she uses her aura sense to try and map the way. "There are a lot of paths but I think I know the way" she said as she lowered her stance and pointed. "There is a cross ahead go left right leads to a dead end" she said as she walked onward

"Ok." Serena said simply. She followed Noel onto the left path so they wouldn't reach a dead end. The Snivy noticed Noel had used the aura to sense which way was the right way. "That was clever, using the aura to find which way to go." She said. It was clever. Serena hadn't seen anyone else use the aura before besides her friend Aura, who, again, lived in Andalusst. Most of her past friends had.

Noel smiles. "Why have it if you don't use it" she said with a smirk as she looked at her paw and built up a small force of her red aura. She built it up but it collapsed on her. "Still can't get it right" she said as she shook her paw in order to get the aura away. She didn't like how she couldn't use aura sphere. She got so close but it always collapsed on her same with her extreme speed. Maybe she shouldn't force the move

"You'll get it eventually.." Serena said quietly as she saw Noel try to use Aura Sphere. "It took my friend Aura a long time, too. She couldn't master it for a couple of years, but it all depends on the Lucario." She said. This was also information from a book that Serena had read. Books were handy information givers for Serena.

Noel smiled nodding but she knew the reason she couldn't do it yet. Her mind was to conflicted which is why she couldn't do it every time she tried she'd imagine her father's death by the move and she'd get so mad and sad it would collapse on itself. She sighed remembering that now but she didn't care she had to put the past behind her. "This way" she pointed

"Ok. You're the boss." Serena said. She walked in the way Noel pointed, and they were off again. The Snivy felt bad that Noel couldn't use Aura Sphere just yet, and as they walked it got her thinking. 'Maybe if we trained together.... she could learn to use the moves she's having difficulty with!' Serena's face lit up briefly. Then it was back to normal.

Noel turned to look at Serena in just the right time to see she had a idea. Noel felt like it would be better not to ask and walked forward until she came across a large open area. She looked around all the caves in the walls as she sets her paw down and focused. She looked through them all but it seemed only one lead up to the top. "Up there" she said as she walked onward to wherever they were supposed to go.

Suddenly, after Noel had pointed in the right direction, a Diglett appeared. Serena's reaction was to hit it with Vine Whip, and it worked. The Diglett was still conscious, but at least she had inflicted damage. Serena hit it with Vine Whip again, and the Diglett yelped in pain. 'He's not very tolerant of pian, is he?' She thought. After hitting it 2 more times, the Diglett was out for the count. "Not very hard..." Serena muttered.

Noel was about to try and hit the pokemon with a quick psychic attack. She built up the power as her paws glow slightly with a blue sort of aura but since Serena had already started Noel cut the flow of energy from her paw. "Heh you are to strong I get nothing to do" Noel said with a small laugh as she walked forward. She stopped when she sensed something and picked it up. It was a pair of glasses. She also grabbed a orb and placed both in her bag

Serena laughed with her. "For a level 12, yeah, I guess." She said. The exit was almost so close the Snivy could feel it. 'We're almost there... Almost there!' Serena thought. She walked to the way they were headed and motioned to Noel. "Let's go!" The Snivy grinned. They were almost to the peak! Just a little further!

Noel looked ahead to the darkness of the peak. It was darker then Shadowhue and the monochrome ruins. "This is the peak?" She asked Serena thinking this wasn't right. "I can barely see a few feet in front of me even with the touch" she said as she wandered a bit around using her aura sense to guide her path

"I don't know... I thought there was light," Serena said warily. She looked around. There was barely any light to see by except for their torch. "It's pitch black, almost." The Snivy sighed. She tried walking around, but placed her feet and moved them in several directions before stepping again and repeating the process. This was difficult.
