Jak

Jak has been traveling for quite some time. 
He has gone through plenty of places during his travels. None have seemed to satisfy his need for safety.

As he continues to travel. He is coming close to having no supplies left from the start of his journey. A journey for a new home.

Jak used to be part of a small town or one would call it a village of pokemon. The town's name has been long forgotten by Jak. Only thing he remembered was that he had 2 best friends there. They have gone missing ever since the last raid that forced them to flee their home.

Jak sighed as he neared another town. He was unsure of the town's name however he did not wish to enter it. He decided he would skip this one and head to the next town.

As he started to skip around the outskirts of the town.

Jak noticed an absol walking alongside the border of the town. 
It seemed to be alone. Jak wonders whether or not to ask about the area. He decided not to. 

Jak then heard a sound from behind him. He swung around to see a mudkip was growling at him. Jak became a bit worried it might be feral. Jak growled back hoping to scare it off. It was not falling for it. "Please... don't do this. "Jak uttered in a slightly fearful tone. 

The mudkip then picked up mud with its paws and threw it in Jak's direction. He attempts to dodge the mud but some of it hits him. 

"Stop!" he shouted. He started backing away slowly.

After having bid the adventuring Lucario known as Noel goodbye back in the misty hills, Deimos had found himself heading to what appeared to be a settlement... Well, town would be more appropriate. Honestly, he was only heading to the town to see if there was any ghost type Pokemon there that'd have been interested in the Reaper Cloth he'd collected back in the hills.

In silence, he procceeded towards the town, only to catch glimpse of a Pokemon being attacked... A Charmander at that. Deimos let off a sigh, it wasn't any of his businesses, so he probably should have just left it alone... But, he decided to at the very least do something, without drawing attention to himself.

Focusing on what appeared to be a Mudkip, Deimos triggered Future Sight, and then started walking back towards town... No need to get involved any further than that, especially in a noticeable fashion.

Jak
As the pokemon continued to come towards him. He decided to attempt to run behind a nearby object in case it decided to throw more of the mud at him or even shoot off some kind of water attack. He knew it would be quite painful and dangerous to him. 

As he attempted to get around one of the objects another bit of mud hits him. 
"Gah!" he cried as this one was a little more of a direct hit. 

He was noticing his energy was weakening so instead he attempt to get as close as possible to it to scratch it. 

As he got closer something odd happened. Some kind of odd wind occurred. It was full of energy and then the mudkip got hit with something. He immediately passed out.

"What in the world..." He said to himself.

He then sighed with great relief.
He looked to where the absol was and he noticed it was gone. 

'Odd.' he thought

He then decided to venture towards the town instead of its outskirts because it was obvious some feral pokemon were hiding along its edges.

After that small... Skirmish, for a lack of a better word, Deimos walked into the town. He sighed, already hearing quite a bit of noise coming from the people within the town. Glancing around, he tried to spot anyone that he'd figured would be interested in the Reaper Cloth, but to no avail at the moment.

"Hopefully there's someone that'd be interested in this cloth... Or at the very least someone who could turn it into something usable for me" Deimos muttered to himself, before resuming looking around the area, he was going to explore the town one part at a time, regardless of how people react to his presence.

Jak
As Jak walked into the town he noticed it was quite crowded at the moment.
He then noticed the absol just going into the crowd and Jak did not see the absol again.

'So the absol went here.' Jak thought.

He was sure the absol helped him out there and he wanted to thank it.
He however was not going to just search for the absol. He simply hoped he would run into it again at some point in time. He had to continue to search for a new home. S

So he continued to walk to the opposite entrance on the other side of town. He did not bother to look at the shops since he had no money.

Deimos sighed as he entered a more crowded, noisy area within the town... How is one supposed to sort out anything with so much noise occurring... Times like these are when seclusion sounds much better. He looked around through the crowd, but all he could identify were water types, no ghost type Pokemon what so ever... He wasn't really all that surprised though, who could blame spectral Pokemon for not being here?

With a sigh he walked out of the crowd and headed towards the other side of town, he was going it'd be quieter, although he partially doubted that it truly would be.

Jak
As Jak continued through the town. He thought he saw the absol again but just continued.
After reaching the other side of the town. There was the absol. He decided to walk up and thank it.

He walked up to the absol and hoped not to startle it. Once the absol notices him he would thank it for the help.

"Hey. I justed wanted to thankyou for helping me outside of town. My name is Jak. You are?" Jak introduced himself as he thanked the absol. He hoped he guessed correctly on who helped him.

Upon reaching the next part of town, Deimos sighed as he started looking around once more... Once again, nothing but water types and the occasional Dragonair... Nothing that'd be able to make use of the Reaper Cloth. He felt a change in temperature, although very slight, thus causing him to glance around once more, now spotting the nearby Charmander.

As the Pokemon spoke towards him, instead of immediately responding Deimos took a moment to think. 'Why is there a Charmander here, and why does he think I helped him? There was no evidence to suggest it was me apart from Future Sight, but that doesn't mean that it had to have been me... I don't need his gratitude, especially not when I have more important things to do.' Deimos thought, making sure not to give any clues as to the thoughts that were passing through his mind.

"Why are you thanking me? I have nothing to do with whatever it is you are talking about". Deimos spoke, of course he was lying, but he had good reason, he didn't want to draw more attention to himself.

Jak
Jak immediately regretted his decision to thank him.
Jak took a moment to think about the absol's response. He came to the conclusion that maybe the absol just wanted to be left alone. If what the absol said was a lie or the truth. Either way. It did not seem like it wanted to be bothered.

"Oh. Sorry." He said as he decided to continue to the gate. He decided not to think too much on it.
'I am sure that was the same absol I saw...' Jak thought to himself.

He sighed as he left through the gate of the town. Just taking a glimpse back at the town. "That town is quite busy... Definitely not a place for me..." He mumbled to himself.

He Continued along the path and decided to take a break next to the tree about a couple meters from the town's gate.
