| First topic message reminder : SierraIt was the day after her fateful encounter with Fang and Rally, and she became the second one to rise of the three. Fang seemed to have left, and Rally looked like she was asleep, which left the Shinx on her own to explore. With a leap from her bed, she stretched out, glad the oran leaves had helped her recover that night. Within minutes, she was out of the inn and strolling across town, seeming to wander about carelessly as she got to her senses. She was never a morning pokémon, and days like these were par the usual. Yet, for once, she was glad the town wasn't out to get her... she was a commoner, a normal civilian... which made her feel... awkward. It wasn't really like this, not back in the jungle. There were people yelling at her, most often times from the havoc she caused... at the thought of that, her mind went to Zigs, and the poké she owed him... that caused her to wince a bit. The mystery dungeons were the surefire way to find the money she needed, and she trusted her team, but... did she really want to put that burden on them? She frowned, looking up to get her bearings. She walked a long way from town, to... a small pond? By Arceus, even the sign next to her said 'Small Pond'. "Well." She mused, seeming to chuckle. "That's what I get for wandering, huh?" She shrugged, and decided to take a look around. She planned to spend most of today wandering around Grassveil, and even if this was out of the way, it was still part of the town. She kept her distance away from the water herself as she wandered around, looking over the variety of pokémon that played and rested. It was a relaxing scene for sure... and part of her mind went to how it would look like under a full moon... a dazzling image in her mind, she was ultimately distracted, blindly walking forward as her thoughts were filled with ideas of wonder. ((Aka, feel free to have her run into something or someone.)) |

| "So, do you think you deserve the punishment?" The Oshawott leaned back and let herself drift in the water a bit, floating on her back as she looked over at Sierra. "It seems pretty harsh, you know. And you said it was an accident, right? Just doesn't seem right to get forced away from home because of a mistake, even if it's part of some sort of laws or rules." She continued, kicking the water gently and turning herself around, drifting back towards the Shinx. Maybe she was guilty about it, or maybe she wasn't, but it would be interesting to see what response came from pushing different buttons on her. She already covered questioning trusting others, and doubting her friendship. She wondered, what else could she bring up before Sierra lost her temper? If she ever did? | |

| SierraHer mouth opened to defend herself... before she stopped. She closed it, laid back down, and smirked. "Mrrrph. I see what you're doing here... you're trying to push me into aggression." Her star-tipped tail swished in amusement. "Actively questioning my decisions to get me to react in a negative way. Perhaps I may make a mistake, say more then I have already, or perhaps even ruin my chances of living here peacefully." She laughed a bit in amusement. "I have to let you know that I am accepting of whatever fate I have received, and it is my responsibility to progress after my failures, and into the future. My father, a pride leader of the strongest Luxray pride in the plainslands, taught me plenty on the conduct of honor and responsibility, even if one sinks to low status..." She closed her eyes, as if remembering the words that were spoken to her many years ago. "Even the poor, the lonely, the savage... they all find their place in the world. Everyone has the potential to become a leader... even you, Sierra." There was a mixed reaction for a bit... a bit of smugness, but... a deep concern began to wash over her. It wasn't long before she buried her muzzle in her paws, seeming on the verge of tears. "Father... I won't fail you... I'm already about to be that leader you wanted me to... I won't give up now." |

| ...You DO realize that by going into that, you've just told me more about yourself than you would have before, right? It's not trying, so much as succeeding... Ava didn't voice any of these thoughts as she drifted back to the edge of the pond, resting her paws on the land and looking up at Sierra with a smile. "Well, you've got me. At least, partially. You can find out all sorts of things about who someone is by pressing them a bit. Sure, they can talk all about how virtuous they are, or how good they are at something, but until you test them you can't really know for sure, can you?" The Oshawott kicked at the water gently as she spoke, waiting to see what the Shinx would have to respond with. Alright, let's see what we have to work with...father was a Luxray, leader of a pride, somehow she ran off and ended up out of it and with this Zigs character. What happened? She seemed to have a bit of humility and submissiveness before, when she bumped me into the water. Maybe she did something that got herself in trouble? Could be a safe bet, considering she got herself kicked out by Zigs too. Or, maybe the pride got attacked by a stronger group. Showed that they weren't the toughest, everyone splits, she's on her own. Not enough information to say for sure either way, really. She accidentally burns down Zigs' place, gets kicked out, wants to repay a debt and finds herself here. Personally, he doesn't seem like the nicest guy to me, kicking her out for an accident. Maybe she's looking for a family figure to replace her pride so much that she's a bit biased and remembers him as being better than he was? It would also explain the closeness to her friends, and the little loss of temper when her "family" is insulted, after she got mad for me suggesting Zigs wasn't the best. All in all, I've got a few good ideas on her, but it's too early to say anything for sure. | |
