Can't go wrong twice .... right?

First topic message reminder :

Noel walked along the path leading to the ruin, her hands in her coat pockets and scarf slightly blowing in the small wind there was. The path was normal it avoided the water all together and lead right into the back of the falls.

Behind it was a towering ruin that seemed to fill the cave and only had a entrance there, Noel felt the same cold aura she did last time from this place and walked in hoping there wasn't another outlaw

Rouge slowed as he saw noel run in front to attack their foe. He watched the pupitar fly back against the wall. he got ready just in case it got up. The moment it rose up he charged, but unfortunate tripped on a rock hitting the ground hard, his bone sliding out of his hand. Rouge started getting up but was knocked back and back down by the foe. His slide ended next to Noel, immediately he started to scramble back to his paws. Rouge looked for a way to get his bone back with out being hit again.

Noel looked at Rouge for a second noticing he had fallen down, she turned back towards the Pupitar and got in her normal guard stance. Noel watched her opponent before leaning forward a bit and starting up a quick attack to move faster and get around her opponent. Noel saw the bone Rouge had dropped while attempting to attack, she contemplated for a moment to pick it up but decided to focus on the opponent for now. While she was slightly distracted the Pupitar managed to get close to her ear and yell out a screech near her, Noel raised her paws to her ears to block the noise, she quickly shook her head to rid herself of the noise and lazily threw a Force palm at the Pupitar, it lacked her normal force but it was enough to send the Pokemon back due to its super effective nature. Though not enough to faint it she did manage to deal some good damage.

Rouge took note of Noel's movements and charged in scooping up his bone as he passed it, leaning over a bit and putting one paw on the ground to try and make a sharp turn. He stumbled as he turned but caught himself keeping some of his momentum. This turn brought him on a direct path to the Pupitar. He glanced at Noel before charging in as fast as his legs could take him, jumping at the last second trying for a skull bash.

Noel turned and saw Rouge go in for an attack, Noel decided to side step out of the way so she wasn't in the way of the attack at all. Noel noticed the attack seemed to of caught the Pupitar off guard so the attack seemed to of had a good chance of hitting him. Noel still stands ready just in case Rouge missed the Pokemon. Noel stared at the Pupitar for a moment waiting to cut in with another attack if need be. Noel clenched her paw making a fist. Her fist glowed with force palm energy ready to let the attack loose.

Rouge's bone club caught the pupitar squarely between the eyes, forcing it to the ground with him.The both hit the ground hard, very hard. Rouge laid there, unsure if he had hurt himself or if he had even taken the pupitar down for good. all he did know is that there was some pain in his nose. He kept a tight grip on his club. Slowly he began to rise as the pain slowly faded, he looked to the pupitar and saw no movement, not even of breathing. This frightened rouge as he scrambled up to check that he hadn't killed the pupitar. Killing was never an option to rouge, even if by accident.

Noel let the energy in her paw fade as she saw Rouge bash into the Pupitar, Noel walked over to it once Rouge had rushed over there. Noel looked at the Pokemon wondering if that attack had done him in. Noel crossed her arms for a moment before looking at the Pupitar. Noel bent down and looked at the Pokemon, he seemed really worried about killing the Pokemon. Noel looked and saw its breaths were shallow. "It's alive." Noel said but didn't ask why he cared, he had his reasons and even Noel wouldn't want to kill.

Rouge breathed a sigh of relief, he hadn't killed it. He touched the pupitar gently, before turning and walking away from it. He turned back to face Noel, ready to face what ever was next. Rouge looked around a bit to see every way possible to leave this room. He sat down waiting for noel to lead the way and checked his club. It looked fine, no cracks, splinters, or even blood on it. Standing back up still looking to Noel, He started to feel confident in his partner and their chances in this dungeon.

Noel placed her paws in her pockets and looked around the area for anything else around them, Noel thought about using her Aura sense to attempt to find something but she knew she couldn't use it that well. Noel shook her head and looked at the area ahead of them. "You ready to keep moving?" Noel asked wondering if there was something else he wanted to check out, better to be safer rather then sorry. Noel turned her head and looked at the path ahead, nothing seemed ahead but she wasn't that sure. Noel saw the small rock that Rouge had tripped over, she walked over and picked the stone up, could serve as a good distraction.

"Ye-es..." Rouge replied immediately. He walked to the path, his club at the ready for anything as they started to move from this room into the next. Rouge cared not to spend time searching lest he found another wild Pokemon looking for a fight. he wanted to get though this place with as little trouble as possible for him and his partner. That pupitar showed this place had some dangers, but he knew they could overcome it with some work.

Noel threw the small stone up and caught it again, once she did she placed the stone in her pocket instead of her bag. Noel looked at Rouge for a moment before looking back at the path ahead. Noel had no idea what to talk about so she decided to remain silent unless Rouge had a question. Noel closed her eyes as she walked trying to focus her own sixth sense and see her way, this ended up failing, she saw nothing ahead. Noel opened her eyes and placed her paws in her pockets and continued on down the path.

Rouge was glad to get out of the cramped tunnel and into another large room. He needed not to be in a narrow pass should another Pokemon suddenly appear, he stopped and looked back to Noel, wondering what they should do. It looked like this room had a higher ceiling that the others, and looked slightly more well kept, though still old and decaying. Rouge started to look around at the stone that made up the walls of this new room.

Noel looked up staring at the ceiling for a moment, for some reason she never trusted large rooms like this, for one reason or another. Noel noticed Rouge looked back at her, guess she should decide on what to do next. Noel was going to say something but she head a noise that sounded like something hitting the wall. Noel looked down another hall and saw a Pupitar standing guard down the hall, that or it was just sleeping and ramming into walls. Noel knew first hand how bad being a restless sleeper was. "Another Pupitar down that hall, we can either rush him and surprise him or we can try and sneak past, which do you think is better?"

Rouge thought about this for a few moments, he was terrible at sneaking. He didn't want to mess it up, but at the same time avoiding this fight may be better in the long run. he decided that getting pass it with out a fight may be the best course of action here.

"Sn-ea-ak." he spoke simply. it wouldn't take long so long as they moved quickly, quietly, and didn't touch the slumbering pokemon. Rouge got ready to sneak past, keeping his bone up off the ground and close to his body.

Noel nodded and looked down the hall, seemed large enough for both of them to sneak past without hitting the Pokemon. Noel looked back at Rouge before talking. "Lets move." Noel said figuring she didn't have to say don't make noise or touch the Pupitar, she figured that was kinda obvious. Noel started walking slowly and against the wall towards the Pokemon, her footsteps made little noise as she walked hoping not to wake the Pokemon up.

Rouge nodded following behind silently, making sure to make as little noise as possible while keeping himself pressed to the wall to minimize his chance of touching the Pokemon. As they passed, he even shallowed his breathing to the point of being almost soundless, just hoping that that the pupitar wouldn't touch him. luckily he manages to get past with out problem walking as quickly away from the area as possible with out making a huge sound.
