First time in the guild.

Raze slowly walked in the entrance, amazed at what he saw, there were teams of explorer here and there, he looked around the whole place, seeing stairs that went down, 'Guess I gotta go downstairs...' He thought, walking towards it, heading down to the first floor.

Upon reaching the end of the stairs he saw two bulleting boards, full of paper sticked onto it, he looked at them for a while, 'Looks like Pokémon are asking for help from explorers here' He thought again, looking around him, seeing an entire other room, and more stairs heading downwards. He decided to hang here for a few seconds, to read the bulleting boards.

It was another beautifully sunny day over the town of Grassveil and Faye the Meganium had just finished a stroll through the town's many shops and stalls, having talked with many of her friends as she returned to her guild. Wandering through familiar halls, the Grass type discovered an unknown Pokémon amidst familiar faces.
It was a Pichu, its eyes transfixed on the Bulletin Boards.
Immediately the guildmaster waddled over, a warm smile on her face as she spoke:
"Hello, dearie! My name is Faye. Is there anything I can help you with?"

A voice had caught his attention, and he looked at where he heard it coming from, seeing a huge pokémon towering over him, he took a step back, but the warm smile on her face comforted him, "Hello." He smiled back at her, "My name is Raze, i've been looking to create an exploration team." He said to her, "Do you know where I have to go to do so?" He asked her, eagerness filling his eyes, he was so close to become what he wanted to be.

The Meganium chuckled, a glimmer in her eye as she heard of the Pichu's plans to join this guild.
It always was wonderful to hear that there still were Pokémon who wanted to dedicate their lives to helping others, exploring new places and forging friendships.
"Indeed I do know. It's quite nearby actually. In fact I think the guildmaster is in this very room."
While she knew that it was a bit mean, the guildmaster enjoyed occassionally playing games like these.
It was fun to see the young Pokémon look for the guildmaster and help them relieve their fears and worry about Faye being of a higher status. After all if they met her thinking she was a normal Pokémon maybe it wouldn't change as much when they actually found out.

Raze tilted his head slightly, looking around trying to find the Guild Master, but not finding that seemed that they were the Guild Master, he then looked back at the Meganium, "Are you the Guild Master?" He asked her, it was his guess that she would be the Guild Master, He looked at her smiling, "What do i have to do to create an exploration team?" He asked her with a curious look on his face, with small sparks of electricity sparking from his cheeks, as he immediatly convered them with his paws, "Sorry... I'm not that good at controlling my electricity" He said to her.

Once more the guildmaster chuckled. It didn't happen often that Pokémon were able to guess her identity right away.
"Indeed. You're quite percepticve, dearie. And don't worry, the signup process doesn't take long at all and is quite easy. If you'd like we could start right away. Then you should be able to take on your first mission by tomorrow already, sweetie."
Witnessing the Pichu's embarrassed situation about not being able to control his sparks, a nostalgic smile appeared on the Meganium's face.
"Oh, don't worry, dearie. Quite a few Pokémon struggle with their abilities. With a bit of practice and time you should be able to control them soon I believe."

"Thanks for the compliment" He smiled warmly, looking back at the boards, "That would be nice, I would like to start right now" He kept looking at the boards.

"I hope you are right, it happens so often, by the way, what are these, it looks like pokémon asking for help for various things, and..." He curiously asked her, looking back at her, "And the other one have pictures of other pokémon" He didn't look at the Outlaw board to much in detail to know that they were bounties.

"Oh, you're welcome, dearie. Now then, if you would please follow me to my quarters? We can start there."
She then found herself a bit surprised at the Electric type asking about the mission boards. If he was hoping to join the guild, shouldn't he have at least some knowledge of its workings? In any case a question had been asked and of course the Grass type would answer it.
"Those are the mission boards, sweetie. It's where the requests of our guild's clients are posted as well as some by the Grassveil Police force. Many Pokémon need help with one thing or another so we've made it our mission to help these Pokémon."

"Ok!" He nodded at her, as he stood there waiting for the Guild Master to lead the way.

"Oh, I see, that's great, I didn't know that explorers did that" He smiled, he always liked to help his parents, so helping pokémon in trouble would be even better, as he almost began daydreaming about the places he would go, but he soon snapped out of it, since he had another reason to create the exploration team, and that was to help his parents, so he set his head straight, "Let's go" He said cherrfully.

"Well then, let's get going, shall we?", she asked the young Pokémon before beginning to turn around and slowly walk into the direction of her quarters. When the quartet finally arrived in front of the doors to the guildmaster's quarters, the Meganium opened the doors with her vines and began to speak anew:
"Is there anything I can get you? Maybe you would like a spot of tea, sweetie?"
With these words the Grass type walked back into her quarters, opening the path for the other Pokémon to enter. The guildmaster's quarters themselves weren't anything special. One of the walls was taken up by a few bookshelves, a variety of tomes in them. A second wall was adorned by a rack with a few bags of different sizes hanging from it. A desk was placed in the middle of the room, a few things on top of it. Additionally there were some less noteworthy pieces of furniture. But perhaps the most striking thing were the plants strewn across the room. There were quite a few potted plants of the strangest kinds sitting around, all of them looking extraordinarily healthy.

The Pichu went inside after the Meganium, looking around the room, "No thank you" He replied politely, with a smile, looking at the plants next, plants that he have never seen before, he walked slowly to one of the potted plants "I have never seen these plants, they so healthy..." He kept observing the plants, but then walking back to the front of the desk, which was slightly higher than him, "This seems like a good guild" He said to her.

"Why thank you, dearie.", the Meganium responded. As for the plants - they come from a place quite a distance away from here. I am quite a fan of plants."
Now this was interesting and warmed the Grass type's heart a little. Few Pokémon had previously shown interest in this hobby of hers. But now she should get the Pichu signed up first.
She then proceeded to retrieve a rather large tome from one of the shelves behind her, flipping through the pages until she had reached one that hadn't been completely filled yet.
If the Electric type were to glance at the pages, he were to see a variety of names next to their teams and a few statistics.
"Now, my dear, first I would need your name if you don't mind."

"My name is Raze" He replied kindly with a warm smile, he almost couldn't countain his exitement, let only he had to wait till tomorrow to start, but he kept his cool and just smiled, as he looked at the shelf behind the Meganium curiously, but decided not to ask, it was probably private things or information about the other exploration teams, and stood on the tip of his paws, to look at the tome she had on top of the desk, not quite seeing properly because of his small size.

"Very well, dearie.", the Meganium chuckled while writing down the Electric type's name into the book.
"Now this might take a bit longer, but feel free to take all the time you need. The next question would be - How would you like to name your team?"
Now this was going to be interesting. Had the Pichu thought of something already, or would he need time to cogitate first?

"A team name...?" He tilted his head, he hadn't thought of needing a team name, "Hmmm... let's see..." He stood there for a few moments, thinking of a good team name, "Maybe... Thunderstorm..." He whispered to himself, "Yeah, Team Thunderstorm" He smiled as he looked at the Meganium.
