| "Yeah..." The Vulpix agreed, trying to brush off the slightly awkward moment. She looked back at the puzzled Shroomish, deciding to keep an eye on it in case it tried to attack them while they were travelling through the corridor. Somehow, she doubted that it was really a threat, but better to be safe than sorry. She hated it when she was caught by surprise. | |

| (Choose numbers once more) The drowzee turned to the way they had been going, only to find that the continuous hall had been replaced with stairs. Morpheus, who had become used to this unusual event as the norm, spoke, "C'mon! The stairs appeared," he took his time climbing the steps, his short legs having a bit of difficulty getting up the steps. He considered himself lucky that he wasn't too stout, or he might have fallen all the way back down the stairs. He surveyed the room, finding that it seemed to have a more cave like appearance, and had a tunnel not too far away. The inside of the rooms seemed to defy the outside appearance, but then again, this was a dream. Who cared? | |

| Lumina watched carefully as the stairs appeared, as if she was unsure that they were actually solid, but once the Drowzee starting to climb up them she followed his example. She looked around carefully, unsure of what might be coming next. If there was one thing she knew about dreams, it was that they almost always abstract and sometimes just plain nonsensical.

| - Kat carried out 1 launched of one tower :
- 11
Morpheus had been about to continue forward, but found that a strange blue and puffy bird with white fluffy wings was standing in front of them, blocking their path forward. He watched the bird, not moving closer as the bird seemed to just stare at the duo, blocking their path but seemingly not hostile at the same time. The drowzee tilted his head, "Yes?" he asked the swablu, as if it was capable of responding to him. Some pokemon in the dream tower were capable of talking, but not all. Even then, they don't actually think, its just parts of the dream.

| Lumina tilted her head, thinking about the little Swablu. She wasn't completely sure of how this dream world worked, but she knew this wasn't really Varda... Nonetheless, she had a hard time envisioning this Swablu attacking her. The Pokémon it was based off of was just too nice, even if he could be a tad naïve. The blue bird with cottony wings continued to simply stand there and stare, it's black eyes wide. "We don't want to hurt the tower. We're just passing through." She added, hoping that would convince 'Varda' to move out of their path. | |

| The swablu finally seemed to perform an action, as it began to open its beak. A song echoed from it, an eerie song. Morpheus couldn't quite understand what was going on, but if he had known, he would have known to run. This was Perish Song, a song that caused all pokemon that hear it to faint within a certain amount of time. The drowzee tilted his head, confused by the strange pokemon's song. | |

| Lumina blinked, her eyes wide when she heard the haunting song. At first, she wasn't sure what was going on, but after a few more echoing notes she had a hunch. Maybe it was trying to attack them. Some Pokemon knew how to attack others through noise or sound. The Vulpix wouldn't think that a natural song, especially one sung by a Pokémon as unintimidating as a Swablu, would sound so haunting. She swiftly shot an Ember at the small, cloudy bird, trying to interrupt it's song, but she was unsure if that would stop it in time. | |

| The swablu was struck by the ember, it squawked as its song was interrupted. Its wings seemed to fluff up as did the short fur on its main body, holding the appearance of wanting to finish its lullaby. It took to the air and flapped its wings rapidly as it attempted to run from the pokemon, beginning to sing its haunting melody once more as it echoed throughout the caves and into the duo's ears. "Something tells me that we really shouldn't let it finish," Morpheus spoke to the Vulpix, unsure of whether they should go after it or just wait here and hope it fades out from their hearing. | |

| "Agreed." The Vulpix nodded quickly. Because of the echoes in the cave, she doubted that the Swablu's song would just fade from their hearing, so their best chance would probably be to go after it. She sprinted through the caves, occasionally firing an Ember on the ground to light their way. She wouldn't think that a Swablu was an especially fast flier, but she could only hope that the same rule applied in her dreams. After all, wasn't this not really a Swablu? It only existed in the Dream Tower, and the dream tower only existed in dreams, right? ... It wouldn't be a good idea to think too hard on this right now, she needed to focus on stopping that song.
Another burst of light from an Ember revealed the small blue bird, gliding gently on it's cottony wings, it's beak half-open as it held a long note. Silently scolding herself for assuming it might be nice because it was based off of Varda, Lumina shot out yet another Ember at the cloudy-winged bird. She wasn't sure what would happen if it finished that eerie song, but judging from how much it seemed to want to complete it, the Vulpix doubted it would be anything good for her and Morpheus.

| The swablu's pitch heightened in surprise as it noticed the light from the ember and dodged the actual flame. Its song now flawed due to the pitch. It turned towards the duo, noticing Morpheus following behind the vulpix at a slower pace due to his stubby legs. The swablu lifted its wings and spread them wide, glowing itself now but somehow remaining in the air despite not flapping its wings. Power around the swablu seemed to be sucked inside of it, as it prepared a Sky Attack. Morpheus came to a halt before stopping and staring into the Swablu's glowing eyes, performing a short chant while moving his hands in a slow and methodical manner, using hypnosis on the Swablu in attempt to put it to sleep before it could attack. | |

| This was yet another attack that Lumina was unfamiliar with. She observed it for a moment, her brown eyes narrowed as she backed away, trying to put some distance between her and the Swablu, hoping to give herself some more reaction time by doing this. After a few more seconds, it dived towards her, glowing with a strange white power. But it suddenly seemed to loose focus, blinking drowsily as it tried to keep flying towards the Vulpix, but it couldn't adjust it's aim in time. It was fast asleep by the time it hit the ground, with the Fox Pokemon having moved harmlessly out of it's path.
Having not noticed Morpheus using Hypnosis at first, she approached the small flying type cautiously, but it's only response was a soft snoring. She glanced back at the Drowsee, and that was when it hit her that this was probably his doing, he had put her to sleep earlier with Hypnosis as well. "Thank you." She murmured, giving the physic Pokemon a polite nod. "We should probably be trying to get some distance away from it before it wakes back up. Or we could knock it out so there's no chance of it following us." She shrugged, having no real preference between the two. If the Swablu wasn't there to fight them, chances were something else would turn up, anyways.
