Closer to Dreams

Zorre buzzed his wings excitedly. This was Pecha Forest, a dungeon right outside Grassveil Town, wherein lied the Guild that he was searching for. His dream was so close, he could almost taste it! He hoped he would find a team member soon, though. He had heard from others that to join the Guild, one must first have a team already made. He was still searching for a team-mate though. Perhaps he would find one in this forest. By its name, he could guess there were many pecha berries in this forest; which he found delicious to eat. He hoped he would find a lot of them.

Energy: 22 - 5 = 17

The teddirsa, serenity, was already well ahead of the scyther when it came to pecha berry searching. She loved the berries and was determined to find some while she was here. Giggling, her red fur made her stand out rather well in the forest, and even more distinguished from any other teddiursa. She was also a little curious about candy as well, though berries were the only thing on her mind right now.

Energy: 19-5=14

Zorre was unaware of the candy search going on by many of the denizens of Grassveil Town, but he had found some candy in Shadowhue Forest. He had an outside pocket on his bag that he kept them in; but they certainly weren't his goal as he had no idea what they were all about, nor was his taste in the sweet-tasting stickies. He much rather preferred the soft, tangy sweetness of pecha berries. Zorre flitted from tree branch to tree branch, only spreading his wings to glide a little, not wanting to wear them out in case of an enemy-related emergency were to come up.

After a moment she heard rustling from the trees. Odd, who was there? She looked up from her place on the ground to see ascyther going through the trees, maybe he would help her find some berries and candies? She soon called up to him "hi there! Who are you? " she bounced on her feet a bit, waving hello with one paw while sucking on the other.

Zorre looked down as someone called to him from the ground. A teddiursa was walking along the forest path beneath him, sucking on one of its paws and waving at him with the other. Zorre blinked, and fluttered down the ground, looking at the bear-like pokemon strangely. "Zorre, I am." he introduced himself. "Pecha berries, for looking. Know you, where find, I?" he asked, peering around at the bushes and lower lying branches for any of the sweet fruit.

She tilted her head, this pokemon spoke really oddly. She wasn't sure how to react to such a pokemon, he was funny though. She liked him already. She smiles as she dropped her paws to her sides, swaying back and forth "Weeellll usually they would be growing on bushes. With so many though you have to search REAALLYY hard to find the berries in the bushes. "

She giggles "I'm Serenity by the way. And I'm looking for berries to! Even candy" her eyes looked to a push, bending over a bit to peek underneath.

Zorre winced as an apple fell on his head. He glared up at the trees, wondering if it was just a coincidence or if a pokemon had thrown it at him. A couple of sharp sticks fell right after the apple, and his suspicion increased, but he just bent over and picked up the items, scooping them into his bag. He looked over at the teddiursa, seeing her pick up a piece of candy like the ones he had found in Shadowhue Forest. "Candy, what about? Found some, have I. What for?" he questioned.

She smiles as she happily picked up the candy, rather joyful that she finally found a peice. Her excitement dimmed a bit though when she found the orb and seed, though she decided to keep them as she put them away in a tiny bag. When she was spoken to, she smiles brightly to see the male had found a berry so quickly "Well you can get some pretty cool stuff if you get enough candies. Also candies can be really tasty to... though I think that they do better to keep and trade for stuff."

Zorre found a green gummi and ate it happily, loving the gummi's combination of sweet and tartness that was just amazing. The gummi was so small that it only whetted his appetite, though, so he took out an apple from his bag and ate that too. He whirled around when a cackle echoed through the forest, and a pokemon that looked like a tree stump landed on top of him. He hissed angrily, swiping at the phantump with his scythes. The pokemon flew backwards, laughing at his efforts. He growled, spotting a blast seed. He scooped it up and tossed it at the phantump. The seed exploded against the ghostly pokemon, and it cried out in pain. It glared at him, its red eyes beginning to glow with an unearthly energy. Then it rushed at Zorre, shouting in his face. He reared backwards, his arms pinwheeling as he tried to catch his balance. He fell on to the ground and then glared at the phantump, which was laughing again. He snarled, and threw the two sticks he had found earlier at its stump, cracking it slightly. The Phantom howled in pain and anger, and flew at him again, striking against his shell with all the force it could muster in its body. Zorre growled and threw another blast seed at the ghost-type, this seed coming from inside his bag. The phantump howled and then flew away, apparently giving up its pranking, for now. Zorre looked around at the teddiursa, seeing it being threatened by a tangela and a pineco. "have apple!" he shouted, tossing an apple from his pack towards the faltering bear pokemon.

energy: 14 - 3 = 11 + 3 + 5 = 19 Energy

She actually squeaked from a bit of fear as the two pokemon advanced at her, her fear turning to a bit of deterMination as she lashed out at the Tangela, using night slash on the odd pokemon as she tore a few of the tentacles as it made the pokemon cry out from pain as it backed down, she was getting weak though and couldn't hold up for long...that is unTil she heard the scyther call to her, when she seen him toss her an Apple. Smiling she took the blast seed she found and threw it at the pineco, catching the apple in the process and eating it quickly.

12-9=3+5 (apple)=8

Zorre advanced on the two pokemon threatening his new friend. He ran very quickly towards the pineco, slashing at it with his scythes, sending it spinning across the forest floor. It floated up, growling at him, starting to glow with a white energy. Zorre's eyes widened; recognizing the move from a forretress using the same move in Shadowhue Forest. He leapt at the pokemon, slicing with his scythes, distracting it and preventing it from getting enough focus to explode on him. He huffed, driving a cacnea spike in between one of the pineco's seeds, causing it to howl and back away. Zorre growled at it and watched in satisfaction as it floated away as fast as it possibly could, and then turned back to the teddiursa to make sure she was alright.

She smiles up at him as she seemed a little worn, but completely fine without any visable injuries. She ran over and huggedZorre as best as a little pokemon like her could, giggling "thank you! I've never had anybody help me before... the sapple helped out, but you helping to fight the pokemon off helped the best! " she smiles up at him as she was genuinely happy, it really must have meant a lot to her that he helped.

Zorre looked down at the little pokemon that was hugging him with all her might, surprised. He had never had a pokemon do that before to him. It was kinda nice, having someone thank him for just doing what any decent pokemon would have done. "Welcome, are you." he said. He gestured to the path ahead. "Continue, us? Pecha berry, find us? Candy, also," he added as an afterthought. He started walking, trusting that Serenity would follow. "No Team of Exploration, then, you are?" he asked, beginning a conversation while there was nothing in their path. He was still looking for another member, after all.

She smiles as she walked along beside Zorre, seeming to skip a little as she walked "well. .I was going to be, but then it kinda just... fell apart. Why do you ask?" Tilting her head, she was rather curious about this question. She's never had a question like this asked of her before, and it rather intrigued her that he asked her. Maybe he was on one and wanted her to join? Maybe he'd like to be a team with her.

Zorre frowned. Well that was kind of sad. "Sorrow to hear," he replied. "Looking, am I, pokemon for team to join." he said, looking down at the tiny pokemon, who was looking at him with a shred of hope behind her eyes. "Looking team for you, are?" he asked her, cursing his mixed up words. They came out right in his head, but somewhere between his head and his mouth, they got all jumbled up! "Team of Exploration, me with?" he asked excitedly. Maybe she would want to join an exploration team with him! That would be great!
