Sweet Tails Seeking For Fun!

Team Sweet Tails was having a relaxing break. Technically speaking though, it was only Lucerne. For now, she was the only member of Team Sweet Tails, and she knew that she should soon either look for a member or take her first mission.

'That can wait. For now, I need some refreshments,' the sea weasel pokemon though. By refreshments, she meant swimming! She was floating around with the help of her flotation sac. A soft purr-like sigh escaped her lips as she floated around without any care in the world. She was literally in heaven!

"Now, I hope I can find young explorer like me. Maybe I can recruit him or her into my team," Lucerne muttered lazily, scanning around with her sleepy eyes. At this rate, she might not be able to find a member at all. But, meeting some new Pokemon might be a good experience. Who knew what kind of Pokemon she would meet! Perhaps a nice Pokemon like Faye? Or a bad Pokemon who might be in the outlaw list?

"what a wonderful day!" Lance said as he walked towards small pond. He hasn't been here for a while, since he was too busy with a million other things. But now he could finally relax. He found a couple of pokemon that will soon be his team members, and he had collected quite a bit of money and items. He accomplished everything he needed to do. He then got to the pond and smiled. He was about to jump in the pond, when he saw a Buizel floating around. "Hello!" He said in a cheerful voice. The riolu then took the explorer bag off his shoulders and sat it on the rim of the pond, and he sat down, his feet in the water. "So what are you doing here on such a great day?"

Lucerne was still scanning around, until she found a Riolu approaching her. Well, the Riolu seemed friendly especially when he carried a treasure bag around. Though, she knew the Riolu was friendly when he greeted her. "Hello to you too," Lucerne said, "I'm lazing our while floating on this beautiful pond."

Lucerne slowly got out of the water and sat beside the Riolu. Her fur was all wet, and the water made her literally glittered. "I'm Lucerne. I'm the sole member or Team Sweet Tails," Lucerne said, smiling warmly.

"You're an explorer right? Do you have a team? Want to take a mission together?" Lucerne was so excited that she could meet a fellow explorer. She hoped the Riolu would go with her for a mission.

"Yeah, I have a team. I'm Lance, the leader of team mythical. I used to have team members, but they left. I found two pokemon that will soon be joining my team though, so that won't be a problem." Lance smiled when Lucerne asked if they wanted to take on a mission together. "Sure! I'll take on a mission with you! Have you picked one out yet?" Lance asked. He wanted to know what mission they were doing, so he could be prepared for it."

Lucerne was glad that the Riolu was very friendly toward her. She was glad that everyone was friendly toward her.

That aside, she shook her head. "I haven't picked a mission yet. In fact, I've never picked a mission before," Lucerne said, scratching her head, "From the way you ask, I take it you haven't picked a mission too." Now what would the Riolu said? Perhaps he had a solution for this. But either way, she could ask Faye if she didn't know what to do. She's a nice Guildmaster after all.

"Oh...well, I ain't too worried about picking a mission. I came here to relax, not to worry." He looked at his reflecion in the water, then looked back at Lucerne. "Hey, I'm just wondering...why did you pick Sweet Tails as your team name?" The Riolu liked the name, but he didn't understand why Lucyrne choose that name. There must be a reason why.

Lucerne kicked the water lightly, creating some ripples. Since the Riolu came here to relax, she didn't want to bother him with mission or exploration. She knew how annoying it would if their rest were disturbed. Just like when someone disturbed her when she was swimming in the sea.

When Lance asked why she named her team 'Sweet Tails', she chuckled lightly in embarrassment. "It was because of my tails. You see, I couldn't think off a name, and at that time, my tails was swaying left and right. Instinctively, I picked 'Sweet' from...sweet and 'Tails' from my tails," Lucerne explained. Now, his team was team Mythical right?

"Um, mind telling me why you picked Mythical for your team name?" Lucerne asked back.

"It was the first thing that popped into my mind." The Riolu blushed a little and smiled. "You're one of the first pokemon who has ever asked me that. Anyways, I think Sweet Tails is a great name!" He happily said. He grabbed his bag and looked through it, and pulled out a pecha berry. He split it in half and gave one half to Lucyrne. "Do you want some?" He friendly offered. He liked pecha berries; not because they heal poison, but because they taste really sweet.

Lucerne couldn't help but giggle. His reason and her reason were similar, which was quite funny since the Riolu seemed to be a bit more clever than her. Appearance can fool someone though, so perhaps she was fooled by his appearance. She was happy that the Riolu praised her team's name though. Of course, everyone will be happy if their are praised.

When Lance rummaged his bag, Lucerne stared at the bag curiously. What did he have in there? Something good? Or, something bad? Either way, Lucerne kept staring at the bag. When he produced a Pecha Berry, Lucerne's eyes widened in pure delight. Pecha wasn't her favorite, but something sweet after a swim would be good. And, boy, the Riolu was a nice boy. He offered half of it for her! "Sure! Thank you Lance," Lucerne said. She took the berry carefully and started nibbling at it. It was tasty, especially when someone gave it to you. It made the Buizel's tails wagged as if they were canine's.

Lance watched Lucyrne nibble her Pecha berry. He took a couple small bites out of his, and smiled. He then remembered something. He looked in his bag once again, and pulled out his map. "Have you heard about the underwater dungons? I don't remember their names, but I heard one of them is a tower of some sort, and their is treasure at the end of it. I want to go see the treasure, but I can't get to such a place. But since you're a water type, you can get there." He smiled a little bit more. "If you want a mission, I got one for you. This isn't a official mission, so this won't affect your team rank. I'll still give you something. I want you to explore the underwater tower, and see what is at the end. You don't have to bring it back, just tell me what it is." He pointed at a big body of water on his map. "The tower should be somewhere near here." He looked back at Lucyrne. "So are you up for the challange?"

Lucerne was rather curious about Lance's bag. After all, their exploration bags weren't very big and they couldn't seem to fit a lot of things. Well, it was weird in a way. She decided to ignore it for now, and she would probably do some experiments with her bag, later. Now that the Riolu showed her a map, which was probably Wonder Map, she looked at it curiously. The information the Riolu gave was something about underwater dungeon, and then an unofficial mission.

Even though she was a water type, she shouldn't go to somewhere she hadn't visited before. "I think I'm not ready to take the challenge. I mean, it's quite far from here," Lucerne reasoned, "Also, I think, since I'm a beginner, I need to take an easier challenge. Um.. Well, easier than going there." Lucerne drooped her tails and sighed. She looked at the Riolu, her eyes showed that she was a bit sad. "I'm sorry Lance, but can I take that challenge after I get stronger? I mean, even though it's not official, I still want to give my best to every single mission I choose," the Buizel explained. She hoped the Riolu would understand that.

"Oh..." The Riolu sounded dissapointed. "Well, that's ok." He smiled. "As long as you will go there someday, then I won't mind." He got up and jumped in the pond. (After checking that his bag wasn't on his sholder) He was getting awful hot, and wanted to cool off. Besides, he liked water. He stayed close to the edge of the pool, however. He hasn't had much time to learn how to swim, so he didn't like deep parts, and the middle of the pond looked deep. He sighed, liking the touch of the ice cold water on his hot skin. He turned to look at Lucy. "You coming in?" He asked. Surely she liked water more than he did.

Lucerne smiled as she hear the Riolu wouldn't mind waiting. This meant she needed to get stronger faster so she could do the unofficial mission! But that could wait, and the Riolu said that to, physically. She followed the Riolu and jumped into the pool before she swam around freely. The water was really calming and relaxing. It was a perfect idea to choose Faye's guild, since she could swim here everyday if she wanted to. "Ah?" Lucerne realized that Lance was still on the edge of the pool. She smiled understandingly and slowly swam to his side. "Water is very nice, huh? I don't what I'll do if I don't swim. I might even murder someone if I skip my weekly swim," Lucerne chuckled. She hoped the Riolu wouldn't freak out after he heard it. After all, that was what she was.

Lance smiled as Lucy swam to his side. When he heard her say she might murder somebody if she didn't get her weekly swim, he laughed. "I'll make sure to stay out of your way if I see you with a knife." He said, grinning. "I wouldn't go kill somebody if I didn't get to swim, but I might if I didn't go on a stroll in a week. It's relaxing going for a walk. The sights, the pokemon, the plants, the items, the relaxing atmosphere..." He looked at his explorer bag, making sure it was still there. "If I was cooped up in one place, I would probably go crazy!" He laughed again, then looked into the water, looking at his rippling reflection, which was staring right back at him. He then looked back at Lucy, waiting for her next action.
