| OoC: Here is what Chronos looks like, but he wears a suit. http://th01.deviantart.net/fs43/PRE/i/2009/130/4/3/Father_Time_by_medli20.jpg IC: Cronos sat down in front of the organ style looking keyboard as he waited for Derek to return. Just as his mind started to wander he looked up at the unwound thread and saw it wind itself back up. Derek then walked out of the gateway, before saying anything he immediately sat down on the bench Chronos was sitting on. "Did it go well?" Chronos asked calmly.
"If by well you mean is it solved?" he asked, taking in a deep breath, "Then yes. But if you mean was it easy... then no." he still didn't make any move to get up. "I had to ride a bike around a gigantic lake just to find out what was wrong." he paused and looked at Chronos, "I had to go through it more then ten times."
"You were alone," Chronos said, "You could have used your true skills."
"Yea I know," Derek responded, "But that is just as tiring." he said, "When am I going to get some new teammates?" he asked.
Chronos stood up off of the bench and Derek just slid and layed down on the open bench, "I sent out the letters today," he said, "They should all be here tomorrow."
OoC: Your post should be you coming to Chronos's mansion (yes he has a mansion) or if you want you can also add your character getting the letter/invitation. It would basically be something that your person couldn't refuse. So you can personalize the letter if you add that scene Posting Order: Me, Des, Fox, Zash, Pika, Flame (decided with random generator) |

| Josephine wandered up to the front door of a rather vast mansion. Blinking, she couldn't quite believe that this was the place she was supposed to be; it's size and formal air causing her to search through her pockets for the original letter, just to double check that the address was correct. The letter had certainly suggested it would be a larger place, but she hadn't quite got her head around that fact yet. Running a thumb along the edges of the paper as she re-read it, she determined that there was no mistake and slipped it back into her pocket, glancing around. No one seemed to be around outside and so she walked up to the front door and knocked three times, hoping that someone would answer promptly and she wouldn't be stuck outside in the cold autumn air. | |

| The streets of Yale's campus were dark. They were dark with the strain of hurting. They were heavy with unbreakable depression. They were filled with desperation. Feelings that originated from one lone figure; a figure which hurriedly bustled into a quiet dorm building with paranoid aggrivation. That figure, Juliet Winthrop, was returning to her single dorm with her mail; the most precious thing in he world to her at that moment.
Once inside, Juliet slammed the door shut with needless violence. She was a proper mess. Her cheeks were pink with the scarring of cold weather. There were strands of needlessly long red hair coming out of her once-neat ponytail. Her teeth were clenched together so tightly her breath could barely escape, and her red eyes flashed wildly with a frightening, wild look. She slammed the mail down on her small dining table purposefully, sending many items over the edge and to the floor. She screamed curses and scrambled to retrieve the items, fumbling with each and every one. She shook intensely with anger and fear.
One by one, she looked through each and every peice of mail. She did this three times over, each time getting a little more desperate. There was no sign of the letters she had been looking for, letters from someone who had been off at war for a long time. Somebody Juliet cared about, somebody she adored and regretted ever letting go of. He hadn't replied to her in so long that she was starting to believe fate had torn him away permanently. She sunk to her knees in defeat after the fifth try, her body entering an advanced state of shock...
She noticed a letter. One she had missed. The top line of the return address read, "Raynor Ayers."
Juliet gave a loud, joy-filled cry of relief as she shakily reached for the letter. She tore at it, the clean envelope giving her some trouble. Tears of joy dripped from her eyes. As the relief-stricken red-head read the letter's contents, however, she noticed something was off.
"Hello; I am not who you think I am. I am, in fact, an employer with a position I was hoping you could fill...."
Juliet never finished reading the letter. She bit her lip so hard it bled, forcing herself to turn the envelope over. The address under the name didn't match at all. It wasn't the army's address. It was a couple goddamn blocks away.
Juliet's tears of joy turned to tears of anger and deep hurt. She had been fooled. Played. Her emotions turned on her and the backlash ensued. She let loose a bloodcurdling howl of pain and threw the flimsy envelope to the best of her ability, not caring where it landed. She grabbed the letter with an unforgivingly tight grip and tore it furiously into tiny peices without any intention of reading it or regret that she hadn't. She screamed and cried out in rage; she grabbed the nearest saucepan in her tiny kitchen and tossed all the little peices into into it before setting them aflame with a match that took her ten tries to light. She watched the peices burn with a searingly hot hate, then tossed the flaming mess into her sink (filled with water and dirty dishes) and ran to her room where she continued to howl and cry into the wee hours of the morning.
Juliet emerged from her room late the next morning with puffy, bloodshot eyes and a new score to settle. She picked up the envelope and sneered grimly. She wanted to find this bastard. She wanted to look him straight in his sick, disgusting eyes and learn just who was bold enough to think that he could play Juliet Ceres Winthrop like some cheap McDonald's Happy Meal toy.
She grabbed her motorcycle keys and her helmet and tore away from the dorms, envelope in hand.
She pulled up into the courtyard of a mansion, unimpressed, and dismounted her bike, yanking her helmet off and slamming it onto the handlebars. Her still-red and bloodshot eyes plus the uneccesary helmet assault made a clear statement: she was there for a purpose. And she had far surpassed pissed. She strode up to the door quickly with heavy steps that screamed "angry", her tired red eyes dripping with venom and flashing with fury. She had been made to pine, and it wouldn't be going without its repercussions.

| White smoke of his cigarette clouded the vision of Charles Francis Martin Arthor Andrew Leonard Debilious the fourth. His scenic view of New Haven from his premium suite of a hotel with an obligatorily high number of stars. He took a long drag on his cigarette. He didn't need any of this he was already far too used to undesirable conditions but he had the expanse of money so he splurged for now. With what could only be described as god like foresight and natural talent for business management and risk, Debs had accumulated a fortune at his young age of 23 that most people would only dream to have by 40. All of which he owed to his dear late wife. He had cleaned up so nicely for her gotten the cash to make sure she could live as comfortably as she wanted though he knew all she needed was him for that. He crushed his cigarette in the ash tray and went to pick up his daily dose of mail. He flipped threw the an envelopes and such as he walked the hall back to his suite. As he closed the door behind him a certain letter piqued his interest. It was hand written which in and of itself was strange but upon further investigation he found the fact it was addressed to him by his nickname as opposed to his full name. He fetched a letter opener from his honorary junk drawer and sat at the dinning room table to open it. The opening of such a letter changed the fate of Debs life forever, for within this white folded sheets a man held a promise of such value to Debs that nothing in the world could tempt him more, it was something that he had only thought up in his wildest dreams. The promise of the safe return from the land of the dead his great beloved. The compelling part of the letter was not just the promise but within the first several paragraphs the accurate recounting of the night before her death from the diner they had gone to, the amount of money it had cost, to the sleeplessness that had haunted Debs that night and had him take a late night drive only to return to his world up in flames. By the end tears fell from his eyes and down his cheeks to splash on the table to let the words escape on his lips "a mia amore" After he had gathered himself which felt like eons to him, going threw every moment with her he could grasp within his mind like going threw a long abounded closet and finding all the the items that used to give you oh so much childish joy Debs remembered it all, their first date, their first kiss, their first fight, and especially their marriage. after what felt like a life time of tears Debs left his room with the small amount of possessions he had changing into his nicest suit and then promptly checked out of his hotel and drove to the local cemetery. He approached the grave of his forever loved wife and knelt down laying flowers across the dirt that grass even refused to grow upon. "Attende per me la mia cara amato Dedicherò la mia vita al vostro ritorno, quindi si prega di attende per me." He drove off to the mansion of his new employer leaving these words for her at her grave.

| The air was crisp with the autumn breeze blowing through and the surprisingly pleasant smell of dying plantlife all around as Brooke walked down the side of the street, eyeing the houses carefully for an address that matched the one on his letter. Despite the chillier air, he still had his hooded sweatshirt tied around his waist, opting to stick with the no sleeve black top for the time being. After all, doing what he did, he spent a lot of time feeling too hot. A bit of cold air couldn't do him much harm, right?
The teenager pulled the somewhat crumpled letter out of his pocket, unfolding it and rereading it as he did so. There were a few lines about some sort of job, having to do with time and being able to see things from other times. Probably just a theme for what he presumed was an advertisement, as he continued reading and saw mentions that he would be able to get some experience with different machinery. A Time-Travel theme for an old car show? Sounds a bit hokey, but I'll take a look. After all, it sounds like it could be fun.
Roughly shoving the letter back into his pocket, he continued on his way and finally found the address he was looking for. The building seemed to be a mansion, fairly large and nice looking, but that didn't completely impress Brooke. There were no cars around. Well, nothing except an interesting looking motorcycle that he walked over to, glancing over it. It seemed like a newer model, nothing specifically of interest. Maybe there was something inside?
Walking up to the door, he saw that he wasn't alone, noticing a curious looking girl waiting at the door along with a more, well, angry looking girl. Seemed like a strange crowd. Despite that, he walked right up to the door behind the two of them. "So...are you all here because of that letter?" He asked, trying to make some conversation. Maybe they were enthusiasts, he could talk to them about this sort of stuff. Maybe they even had their own old cars and such to show off.

| Adam arrives to Juliet's Dorm room after a long night of studying, he walks in as he finds out that Juliet was not home she must of left early to do some stuff, but he found out she left a mess of papers and other stuff. She could at least clean up her mess. He let out a sigh as he takes off his jacket and starts to clean up the mess his sister made. He starts picking up the mess as he picks up a piece of paper and a letter falls out. "What is this?" Adam picks up the letter and see it is for him, he decides to open and reads it, as Adam reads it he let's out a small grin and looks at the clock. "I better get going or I am going to be late." Adam picks up the rest of his sister's mess and puts on his jacket and walks out the door locking it as he leaves to head to the Mansion.
Few mins pass as Adam arrives at the Mansion and see that Juliet was there and a few other with her but they don't seem familiar must be something going on. Adam walks up to his sister and everyone else too see what is going on and why are many people here.

| Chronos was standing at the top of the steps over looking the main foyer of the mansion. He pulled out a pocket watch to check the timing of things. This pocket watch didn't actually work, but it told Chronos everything he ever needed to know whenever he would look at it. "Well it's almost time to open the doors," he said to himself. Chronos turned his head to face Derek who was leaning back on one of the large bookshelves a few feet behind Chronos, "You ready to meet your new team?" he asked. "Ready as I'll ever be," Derek said. He got up from the bookshelf and walked over to the ledge next to Chronos. Even though just a few days ago he was asking for new teammates, he was again reluctant to meet the new generation. He had been through this so many times that he didn't both to keep count. "You said one of the girls in this team has white hair?" he asked, "Like Rebecca?" Derek had turned his head to look at Chronos with his last question. Chronos slightly grinned and chuckled, "No one is like Rebecca," he said shaking his head. Derek chuckled along with Chronos and thought back to Rebecca, one of the older members of the Warriors of Chronos' past. "Hard to believe that was only... what... a hundred years ago?" Derek looked over the balcony in thought and then turned to Chronos, "Shall I let them in?" he asked. Chronos nodded slowly with a grin on his face, "Go ahead," he said. Once he had spoken, a light grey aura glowed around Derek and a scent of coconut started to spread from the small glow and it slowly spread through the room. Once Derek's aura glowed, there was also a gust of wind that caused the large front doors to open into the foyer, allowing those waiting outside to enter into the foyer. OoC: This is what the foyer looks like: - Spoiler:

| Before anyone answered the door, Joesphine's attention was grabbed by the sound of a motorcycle approaching. She blinked and wondered if this person had been given the same opportunity as had been described to her in the letter she had received. As the woman hopped off of her bike however, Jo determined that she couldn't be, as she stormed up to the door of the mansion with such anger in her body language that Jo stepped to the side to allow her to reach the still closed entrance without obstruction. Shortly after, two other individuals arrived, including someone who appeared to know the angry female whose rage didn't seem to have died down much in the time that they'd been waiting for someone to answer the door. One of the others asked if they were all her because of 'the letter.' Though she couldn't answer for the others she did nod before the doors were opened from the inside and they were allowed to finally enter the lavish mansion.
Waiting for the angry woman to enter first, Josephine followed shortly after, her curiosity getting the better of her. Though the outside of the mansion had been impressive, the inside just screamed expensive. As much as she'd love to go around examining the detail in everything, she was reluctant to touch anything because of how expensive it looked. Wandering forwards, she looked up to see the two men on the balcony, halting her feet as she spotted them; they must be the people who sent the letters that those gathered here had received. Quickly her attention was drawn back to the angered female as Jo wondered why she was here in such a foul mood. Surely there was a good reason for it, but she couldn't understand why anyone would be so angry, especially when these people were apparently giving all of them such a unique opportunity.

| Juliet wasted no time in marching right into the dumb foyer of the stupid mansion owned by some uppity-ass prick. She gave the place a once-over with her inflamed, sleep-deprived eyes, looking for the person who she was about to launch her fists at. Oh, it was going to feel good. So good to just let loose and free the pent-up energy within her body, mind, and soul.
"Where the hell is the low-down, thoughtless, no-good, filthy, shitty, horrible, indecent excuse for a human being who owns is house?!" Juliet demanded, her voice raising in pitch with each word she spoke. "C'mon, scumbag! I know you're here. You think you're so clever, jerk? You think your pranks are cute?!?" she continued, emotions from the night before pouring back into her voice. Her eyes stung like they were on fire and a few tears began to form in them. "Just WHO do YOU THINK you ARE?!?" she screamed; "AND WHERE DID YOU GET THIS NAME?!?"
Juliet was shaking with emotions and exhaustion now, but her eyes looked like they could melt diamond. She inhaled and exhaled deeply through clenched teeth, waiting for her answer.

| Debs rolled up onto the scene taking his sunglasses off and leaving them on the dash as he closed his car door, he had made it just in time to see other people who he could only assume were to be his co workers enter into the estate. He just made it threw the gate of the front yard when the screaming and profanities set in. He was doubtful that he would have missed it even if he had still been in his car. He picked at his cuff as he approached the doorway.
He was surprised when the person who had been screaming such foul language looked like such a nice young woman. He was anticipating an old bitter type person perhaps one also of great power such as Chronos. Assessing the situation in the instant he gather his thoughts rather quickly. " Now now, miss that is no way to start a job interview." He made a tsk tsk noise with his tongue and walked to the center of the foyer he looked up to Chronos. He produced the invitation that he had received from him. " I believe when people use to devote their lives to a lord or to an adventure they leave behind or burn their belonging, I don't have any attachment to much so this will have to do." He declared. He pulled out a cigarette lighter and lit the far edge from his fingers on fire. " As long as you keep your promise I shall serve you." He resigned himself as his invitation burned to ash.

| The doors blowing open made Brooke jump back a step, despite the fact that they had blown inwards. Well, that's not something you see any day. Could have knocked into all of us if the doors came out this way. He glanced around at the other people at the door, silently wondering if they had felt any sort of breeze or wind that would have forced the doors open. It seemed pretty strange.
"Huh...what is this?" The teen mumbled as he followed inside the doors, looking around at the foyer. It was fairly lavish, with a balcony and staircase, and several pieces of nice, wooden furniture. Which was great and all, but there was nothing having to do with his letter in there whatsoever. Wow. What a mansion... He thought to himself, looking around.
Hearing the man who had shown up late speak next, Brooke turned around to look at him, watching as he rather carelessly lit his letter on fire. "Wait, a job interview? Who's she and why is she so mad? Who are all you? I'm confused..." He had started off speaking at a fair volume of voice, turning around and looking at the others, before quieting down at the end into a mumble, rubbing his forehead.

| Adam saw the doors of the Mansion open and seeing everyone who was there open. He followed along silent looking around to see what is going on and why are there so many people here just for one thing, whatever it is he just wants to find out why was he invited to this place. As Adam walk through the door he saw his sister yelling and was wondering what the hell has gotten into her.
Adam slowly walked up to he and covered he mouth. "Juliet what the hell happened now." Letting out a sign looking around him too see the place was quite nice besides his sister yelling and what is getting her all worked up. "Now then what is all this about anyway?" He is a bit curious of what is going on here now that it made his sister pissed off. "But who is everyone here I never met anyone who is standing in this room, well besides her." Adam looks at Juliet a bit confused as he smiles at her a bit.

| As the doors opened and Juliet came storming in shouting up a storm, Derek had a face of slight shock. He had never seen someone react like this to an invitation from Chronos. Granted the reactions were for the most part always different, he had still never seen one like that of the red haired girl. There seemed to be two quiet types in the group, and Derik preferred that. Usually the quiet ones were the most eager to learn and the best companions. Then came the who told off the red haired girl and burned his invitation as 'tribute'. Derek never knew what Chronos would put into the letters he sent out to recruits. And he was conflicted about whether or not he wanted to know what Chronos had put into the letter of this one. ((Derek's reaction to Debs: here. Derek's face on the inside: here)) Then finally came the last one to enter, the tall one with red hair. He seemed to know the shouty-one, he was also the first to ask questions, which Derek never liked. He preferred it when they simply waited for Chronos to start talking. All of Derek's initial reactions led to one simple face, and one short thought, "This... is going to be a long eternity...". "Where did you find these people?" Derek murmured to Chronos, "Or better yet, what did you tell them."
Chronos simply chuckled at everything that unfolded as the door opened and the new batch of warriors came inside. "I told them the same thing as I always do." he said, "Could you close the door for me?" Derek didn't even give Chronos a response, he just waved his hand and his aura glowed again releasing the smell of coconuts, and then the doors closed behind everyone who was now standing in the middle of the foyer.
Once the doors were closed Chronos began to speak, "Greetings all, and welcome to my manor. My name is Chronos and I am the one who sent you all the letters. I am sorry if you are dissappointed with what you have found here compared to what you were told in your letters. But they were all specially crafted to get you to come for your first day.. Chronos paused for a short moment and then continued speaking, "One true thing in all the letters though is that I am here to offer you a job. And it is one I highly recommend that you consider taking. This here is Derek and has held the position for a very long time. He will be your mentor and aid in adjusting to living with the job." Chronos finished his previous speech with a gesture to Derek. "Now if you will all move forward towards the elevator, we will show you to the office and explain what it is you will be doing. But please, hold all of your questions till we arrive in the office and I finish explaining everything." Chronos and Derik then turned around and walked away from the overlook towards the elevator which was waiting open behind them. The elevator then moved down and opened in front of the rest of the group who was standing the foyer.
((Basically wherever I mention a face of Derik. the word face is a link to what his face is. For those who are interested. here are two joke faces for Chronos' reaction to Derek's faces after everyone came into the mansion and did their thing. Tell me which you like best in your post Ooc. Face 1 or Face 2)) |

| Josephine remained quiet for the most part. Normally she would have tried to calm down the woman, but it seemed everyone here was now confused on some level, and none of them seemed to be here for the same ornithology related job opportunity she was. The angry woman didn't seem like she was going to let up. This wasn't at all going like she'd imagined in her head. And now there was some man melodramatically burning his invitation in a gesture that seemed out of place next to the angered female. The only normal two of the group of people gathered appeared to be a male who knew the angry woman, and another guy who had asked a lot of questions. Reluctantly Josephine replied, "I'm just as confused as you are..."
Jo had assumed that the front doors had been opened by some sort of butler, until Derek closed them with a wave of his hand. Blinking, she glanced backward and then up to the two still stood on the balcony, her mind even more muddled with confusion than before, though she remained silent unlike most others in order to let the sender of the letters explain what was going on. When he'd finished talking, they were no more enlightened than they had been before. Suddenly she could understand the red haired woman's anger. "You flat out lied to us!" she replied, a clear tone of annoyance in her voice as she blatantly stated what he appeared to have made effort to avoid saying. The look on her face told her that she was disappointed by the man. Her interest in birds and such wildlife was not something people could use to play her for a fool; like a moth to the flame. What hurt the most was that she thought she'd finally found something she wanted to do, and could do well, only to have it taken from her mere hours later.

| Juliet's face was completely possed by the rage she felt towards this inhuman jerk. She said nothing to her brother, she merely shrugged him out of the way and have him a horrifying glare. "I have no decency to show to a man who sends fake letters in the name of a soldier in the military," she growled at him. She looked at both her brother and the man who had chastised her before continuing, "I don't need either of you telling me that my rage is ill-conceived and out of place... especially when it's NOT!!!" she screamed. "I've been waiting FOUR AND A HALF MONTHS for a single letter from a possibly DEAD MAN, and what do I get? I get this FAT PACK OF FUCKING LIES in my god damn mailbox. I think I have a right to be mad!!!"
"You flat out lied to us!"
Juliet took a second to look around at everyone in the room after she heard the girl speak. She could see that most all of them had a certain look of confusion, maybe even pain, in their eyes. A little bit of empathy creeped into her demeanor as she realized she was in a room full of people who had been deceived by the man standing before them. "You lied... to all of us?" she spat through her teeth. Her voice was lowered now, it was considerably quieter and raspy from overuse. She choked on a couple of words. "Just what is your deal?!" she demanded. "What about this.... job? What kind of job offer relies on lies to bring its applicants in?" she questioned, her voice slowly getting lounder (although not very loud because it was growing apparent that talking was paining her). "Let me tell you something; I don't know if I'm feeling the employee - employer trust here. I'm really getting a bad vibe from that elevator, let me tell you. I have people and things to go home to, y'know. So how about you drop the funny buisness and tell us the whole truth; right here, right now. Cause I don't have nearly enough trust in you or your freaky, scummy little lackey to get in that elevator. Not after all this shit," she choked, still managing to sound serious as she demanded her due of respect.
