Lance was looking down at his map, barley aware of his surroundings. His team members have been gone for quite some time, so he had decided to go exploring solo. So far, he has been doing good. But the journeys have been rough, and he missed having a team. He looked up from his map to see that he finally reached his destination: Pricklemist hill. He slipped his map back in his explorer bag and looked around. "Wow, this place is more misty than I thought it was going to be." He didn't mind though...He would be able to see pokemon through the mist using his aura senses. He decided to start looking for the abandoned house that is supposed to be in the middle of the whole area.

Silverdawn slithered through the soft grass, poking around for sandy places. Her shop was almost ready to open; all she needed now was some sand and ash to make some flutes in advance for the grand opening. She was here in Pricklemist Hill so that she could collect some sand, as she heard that there was some sandy areas here and there; and this hill was so much easier to get to than the desert.

Lance kept on walking, unable to tell if he was going the right way or not because of the mist. He just keeps on walking, hoping to reach his destination. He was looking around, trying to spot the house through all this mist, and suddenly stopped when he saw that he was about to step on a ekans. He quickly jumped back, wanting to create some distance between the ekans and himself. He knew that if he got poisoned, he didn't have anything to cure it.

Silverdawn hissed in alarm as something almost stepped on her. She backed up quickly, glaring with her sightless eyes in the direction of the pokemon. She trilled, and an image of a riolu formed in her mind. "Hey," she hissed grumpily, "try watching where you're going, hmmm? You could have stepped on me and in the process poisoned yourself and broken some of my bones," she said irritably. She turned her head to the side curiously. "Hey... aren't you a Guild pokemon? Where's your team, anyway?"

"My team?" Lance said. "I don't have a clue where my team is. I came back from one of my strolls one day and they were gone." He then frowned. "They haven't came back from wherever they went, so I had to go exploring and training solo." He sighed. "I don't even have any items. All I got is poke, and a lot of it. But the shops in grassveil never have what i'm after. And I can't get far enough in a dungeon to nab something useful." He then looked at the ekans. So what are you doing out here?

Silverdawn hummed thoughtfully. "Well, I'm just out collecting items myself. I own a shop in Grassveil myself, see. It's not open yet, because I need to collect some sand and ash and gravelrocks for my stock. See, I glass-blow flutes; and when I combine them with certain berries, I can get them to have effects like berries. So... I'm searching for items. If you want, you can come with me?" she offered. The poor kid was lost without his team. She wondered what sort of pokemon they were, to leave their friend behind like that.

"Sure, I'll come with you." The Riolu said. He would be more than happy to help this ekans in her mission to find items. Maybe they'll run into the house and find a rare item. Lance then heard a flap of wings and a sound that reminded him of a xylophone. He knew one was a krickatot, but the other was unknown to him. He looked around, trying to figure out where the two noises were coming from.

Silverdawn hissed warningly, her tail rattling dangerously as three pokemon stepped out of the mist. There was a kricketot and a Kricketune, likely related somehow, and a Pidgey. The Pidgey dove at Silverdawn, cawwing loudly. Silverdawn hissed and lashed out with her tail, barely scraping the Pidgey's wing as it flew by. The Pidgey screeched like she had just stabbed it in the chest, and pecked at her furiously. Silverdawn hissed in rage as the peck stole a scale, releasing a small dribble of her poisonous blood. She shot forward, wrapping her coils around the pidgey's wings so that it couldn't take off, squeezing tightly. The Pidgey squawked indignantly and tried to escape Silverdawn's slowly tightening coils, to no avail. It screeched and pecked her on the head, causing Silverdawn to wince and slightly loosen her grip on the Pidgey. It took the advantage and squirmed out of her hold, and reached out with sharpened talon, scratching down her spine. Silverdawn bared her fangs, and jabbed the pidgey in the chest with her poisonous tail. The pidgey let out a cry of pain, and then apparently decided she was too strong of an opponent to mess with, and flew off, its flight staggered slightly. Silverdawn cast around towards the riolu, wondering how he had fared against the Kricketot and Kricketune.

Lance was delivering blaze kick after blaze kick to both pokemon, doing a great amount of damage to them, due to the move's typing. He quickly knocked out the krickatot, but then the krickatune slashed him in the chest with it's sharp arm, making him wince in pain, then the krickatune tried to slash at him again, but Lance quickly dodged it and hit the krickatune in the head with blaze kick, knocking the krickatune out as well. He looked down at the two pokemon laying on the ground, then turned over to look at Silverdawn, wondering if she was ok.

Silverdawn realized that the riolu had already taken out both opponents. "Wow, you're pretty good at this," she said. She looked around for any more pokemon, relieved to find none. She did notice something shiny on the ground not too far away. She slithered over to it and found that it was a shiny orb of some sort -a Trawl Orb. "Interesting," she murmured. "But not exactly what I'm looking for." she placed it in her pack for later usage. "Shall we continue?"

"Yes, let's continue." Lance said. He looked around again, being a little more cautious after getting attacked by three pokemon. He looked back at the ekans. "By the way, what's your name?" Lance smiled. He then looked around again. He thought he heard something in the distance, but he decided to ignore it. He looked back at the two pokemon he knocked out earlier. They were still unconscious, but they will get back up sooner or later.

Silverdawn slithered ahead, wandering around the hilly dungeon aimlessly. A while passed with no talk between the two pokemon, until Silverdawn could no longer stand the silence. "So.... I don't think we got properly introduced. I'm Silverdawn, and I own a shop in Grassveil. I make and sell Effect Flutes for a living. What's your name and what do you like to do?" she asked politely.

"My name is Lance, and I like exploring." He said. He looked curious about the items that Silverdawn said she sells. "Effect flutes? Like poisoning and Sleep and burn? Those kinds of effects?" He knew it would be great to have a flute that inflicts sleep on pokemon, or heals burns. He continued waking, wondering how much such an item would cost.

"Yeah that's right," Silverdawn replied cheerfully. "My poke flutes can do all kinds of effects that berries can. I can infuse cheri berries, to heal paralysis; chesto berries to heal sleep; rawst berries to heal burns; so on and so forth. With blast seeds I can make them cause burns to all except the user; with stun seeds I can do the same with paralysis, and such. It's really all very fascinating. Most of them are one-use; but if I add gravelrocks to the mixture, I can increase how many times it can be used before it dissolves. Of course, the more permanent ones cost more, since they are so difficult to make." Silverdawn rambled on about the many types of poke flutes she could make.

"Wow, that's cool." Lance said. "Hey, is there a way to help you?" He asked. He wanted to help silverdawn open her shop as soon as possible, so everyone will be able to benefit from her flutes. And he will make sure that he is the first customer. He smiled, then looked around, seeing if he could spot anything.
