Richard sighed.
This certainly was not his season. It was brutally hot outside and while he would much rather have stayed at home, Zach had requested for them to meet up at the beach today. And how could one ignore the request of a friend? He'd just have to go swimming, whether he liked it or not.
And so he went on to pack up his things, turn off the computer and went out of the door.
Blinded by the blazing summer sun, the 17 year-old student found himself standing around dazedly at first, unable to see properly.
But after having gotten used to the sudden increase in luminosity, he finally managed to set out to walk to the beach.
It had always been a mystery to Richard.
His house was only a short distance away from the beach, in a location others would kill for, but yet he didn't care about these things at all. For him the outside world clearly was inferior to the inside world. It had fewer computers, worse air conditioning and in general fewer fun things to do.
And yet he was walking towards the beach.
What a strange thing life can be...
