Relationships:

Greg first met Varda when he took a wrong turn in trying to find the Grassveil Guild, and got lost. Varda helped Greg get out by showing him the way out, while Greg helped Varda find some berries, and helped him fend off some Wild Pokemon, all while gaining insight into the others' lives.
Greg's thoughts: "Varda may not be the sharpest tool in the box, he makes that apparent, but he's a bright and cheerful person, and to be frankly honest, that makes him a very likeable person."
