A Dandy Time in the Woods! The Furfrou and the Girafarig!?

Dandy skipped along in Pecha Forest, his basket dangling on his neck as he looked this way and that for possible materials for his dyes and crafts. Every now and then he'd think he had found something possibly useful, but think better of it and continue on his merry journey in the forest. He was excited that his boutique was doing quite well so early on, and he already had possible customers for his dye business. He couldn't wait until the salon was complete to finish up his trio of customization shops.

He himself was customized, with his Dandy Trim and all. Though he had not partaken into dying his fur a different color or get an item form his growing stock. Though, then again he didn't truly care about making himself look better, to him he looked exactly as he wished. He cared about making others look the way they wanted to.

The Girafarig scanned  the ground for items, until his eyes landed on a Blast Plant. It had a seed growing, too! Eljang walked over and looked at the plant, smiling. No doubt, it was a Blast Seed. Hadn't the Furfrou said something about collecting berries? Blast seeds might be explosive, but sometimes even the weirdest of things can have an alternate use, but was he going to use seeds as well? "Hey Dandy, are you looking for seeds as well?", he asked, halfway shouting. The dog had his nose buried in the bush, and it had the giraffe go curious. "You found something?", he asked.

"Uh...Not any berriez," the Furfrou said as the Zigzagoon began to growl. Dandy blinked and jumped around before kicking dirt at the Zigzagoon as he used Sand Attack. He then half-ran half-jumped beside the Girafarig.

"Az I zaid before. I am not goodz at ze battling," he said as he looked back at the Zigzagoon, who was shaking her head, trying to clear it of the dirt.

Eljang was a bit puzzled. "Why is he reminding me now, did he-", the Psychic-type thought, but stopped as the dog made his way behind him and the raccoon appeared. The Girafarig quickly got in battle stance, just staring at the Zigzagoon with a focused look.. "Be sure to keep an eye out for more, okay?", he didn't turn his head towards Dandy while speaking. He was waiting for it to make a move. The raccoon seemed to think he was too scared to attack, and used her courage to manage a Tackle towards the taller pokémon. She ran towards Eljang in a zigzag fashion, using all the strength her small legs could bear to gather up speed.

As the tanuki-like creature approached him, Eljang wasn't quick enough to dodge, and his leg took the hit. It wasn't a too hard hit, but it still hurt. The Zigzagoon was now off-guard, and the Girafarig used the opportunity to turn around and send a Double-Kick flying at her. The Zigzagoon took a lot of damage from the super-effective move, and fell down on the ground, uncounscious.

Eljang was thinking about how he was supposed to bring the Blast Seed with him if Dandy didn't want it, but was kind of clueless. Could he carry it with his mouth? Or maybe he could lift it with psychic-powers? If he just knew how to do that...
In the middle of his thinking, he heard a noise, sounding like buzzing from bug wings, and started looking around for whatever could have made the sound. "I think something's incoming...", he said silently to Dandy.

Dandy nodded as he saw a Ledyba, Phantump, and Exeggcute come out of the bushes the Zigzagoon was in, "Yez, I zuggest we run now," he said looking over at the Girafarig. He noticed the Blast Seed, but was more concerned about the Pokemon in front of them. After they found a safer place, he'd ask for it, as he could figure out a use for the seed.

"Alright.", Eljang replied and started running. Hoofmarks were left behind him as he made his way over the path of dirt and over to a part of the forest where trees stood thicker, hoping that it might lead the attackers off. He got a glance behind him, but they were still following. The Exeggcute stopped for a little, then shot some of its many egg-like beings towards the running pokémon, using Barrage. Two of the thrown pokémon hit Eljang, but he was too busy running to check on Dandy.

Dandy was hot on Eljang's heels, doing his best to jump out of the way of the Barrage attack himself. Once he got hit on the head and nearly fell down, but somehow managed to keep his feet under him. As they ran, the Ledyba and Phantump began to close in on them, but in a last ditch attempt to lose them, Dandy used sand attack on the two pursuers. Thankfully it worked, the two Pokemon being too busy getting dirt out of their eyes to continue chasing them.

Eljang felt a glimmer of relief as the move hit their pursuers. The feral pokémon were still busy cleaning their eyes for sand, so the giraffe had more time to check his surroundings for a suitable hiding place. An old, tall Apple Tree with rocks and bushes around it seemed reliable enough, and the Psychic-type pointed his head towards it, quickly followed by an entire turn towards it, carefully not tripping over the dog. "There!", he said as he changed his direction. There was a somewhat open path through the bushes, and it led directly to the side of the tree, with rocks lining up by the bushside that created a nice little room. Eljang looked over his shoulder once while running. Yes, the pokémon were still pretty much blinded, but the Phantump looked like it would be on the move again shortly. The Girafarig looked at Dandy afterwards, hoping for him to have heard him correctly and would get to the spot before the Ghost-type had cleared his eyes.

Dandy nodded, skidding a bit as he tried to turn quickly. If Dandy was one thing, he was a surprisingly good runner. Perhaps it was just because of his species, but he was able to keep up with the Girafarig with little difficulty. Thankfully his fluffy tail had disappeared into the bushes just moments before the Phantump's eyes were cleared. The two Pokemon looked around for another second before heading back from whence they came, leaving Eljang and Dandy in the bushes.

Eljang breathed out relieved. The attackers had retreated. The Girafarig stepped a bit to the side and looked out of the bush to be sure. There was no pokémon, but among the unripened berries by the side of his face, a ripe Pecha Berry was hanging. Eljang's tail smelled the berry, and reacted quickly. It let out small, bark-like sounds, which just sounded weird coming from the tail of a creature resembling a giraffe so much. "Shhh, quiet!", Eljang whispered to quiet down the annoying body part. He then turned his head towards Dandy. "I found a Pecha Berry. Are those one of the berry kinds you seek?", he asked, offering the berry to the canine.
