Lotions are special items that can give a variety of temporary effects when applied to a character. Lotions are consumables, and excluding a few specific instances, can be used at any point.

Grindstones- Free!
Grindstones are needed to make nearly everything in the shop. To "make" a grindstone, you simply need 1 Gravelerock or 5 Geo Pebbles. No poke required!

Status Lotions - 30 Poke
Status Lotions allow for the player to ignore the appropriate status ailment from 3 rolls. It is recommended to use a lotion before a status is inflicted. Using one lotion after another negates the effect of the first lotion.

Pecha Lotion: 1 Pecha Berry + 1 Grindstone
Cheri Lotion: 1 Cheri Berry + 1 Grindstone
Rawst Lotion: 1 Rawst Berry + 1 Grindstone
Aspear Lotion: 1 Aspear Berry + 1 Grindstone
Persim Lotion: 1 Persim Berry + 1 Grindstone
Chesto Lotion: 1 Chesto Berry + 1 Grindstone
Deux Lotion (Protects from two random status; same limit of 3 rolls): 2 Lum Berries + 1 Grindstone

Monotype Lotions - Poke Based on Potency
Monotype Lotions overwrite a character's typing to a single type. This means dual type Pokemon will become monotype. These lotions are applied automatically at purchase and are only applicable to one thread. To remove the effects early, use a Cleanse Orb.

Type Lotion: *Appropriate Gummi for type* + 1 Grindstone
Random Lotion (For every 3 pages, you must reroll for a new type. Your initial type will be rolled by me. Types are numbered in the chart): Wander Gummi + 1 Grindstone
Reverse Lotion (Refer to Reverse chart): Wonder Gummi + 1 Grindstone

Because Burmy needs to be in specific locations to change cloaks (Trash = civilization, such as the towns and maaaaybe the temples. Sandy cloak = rocky/barren area, such as caves, deserts, canyons, and other such places that have little plant life. Plant cloak = forests, plains, and other places with lots of plant life) you'd need to go to those specific locations to have Russ change his cloak. Even then, the dye color would stay, so if he went to Grassveil and got the Trash cloak, it would appear a mix of oranges, yellows, browns, and reds instead of pink. If he went to a desert it'd look like he'd be wearing desert camo, I'd assume.
