With his teeth clamped down upon the Seadra's snout, it could only allow a few bubbles to slip through the large, gaping open it had for a mouth. It swung its head about wildly once he had directed its attack away from Iji, relentlessly attempting to shake free its attacker. Tom, who could feel his heart beating to the muted rhythm of the battle, would dart away prior to his partner jetting forward and attacking. Their continued onslaught was enough to slowly make it reconsider its ability to come out of this in victory, and it became more hesitant and cautious than prior.
Zip, zip, zip.
The duo demonstrated some good, old fashioned Totodile power by one darting towards the opponent and swimming away after attacking to allow the other to have their turn. It was succinct, precise, and well timed. Though it was impossible to visibly sweat underwater, Tom began to feel it well up at his pores as they continued to wear the Seadra down. When Iji made a comment about their progress, he would give a curt nod and affirmation, "Let's just hope we can keep this up! Let's finish this guy!"
Ice crystalized upon his hand as rage bubbled through his veins, and once more Tom darted forward. He would pull back his clenched fist and smash the frosted hand directly into the Seadra's face, causing its snout to point directly towards the heavens. It seemed to slow for a moment, as if it might never redirect its body and continue to allow the power from the hit to direct its movements; however, it would straighten out in a jerky fashion before spewing forth black ink to conceal its escape.
They had won!
"Alright!" Tom would cheer with relief.
