| After Sosio found herself in a strange poisoning, she and Morty left to go find a Pecha Berry. She entered the small dungeon, glancing around at the surrounding trees, covered in Pecha Berries. The fletchling wasn't well enough to fly, and Inkay can't levitate any higher. It's not like they could just take them off the trees, anyway. They fall when they are fully ripened. It shouldn't take too long to find one, but they have to watch out for wild pokemon. As much as she loved forests, it was hard to enjoy the scenery as she embraced the pain in her stomach and covered it with her wing. She needed to keep her belly warm and her head cool. Although the Venusaurs back at home didn't experience poisoning, they knew a whole lot about poisoning. Sometimes they poisoned her by accident, and she learned a lot about how to deal with it. We've gotta pay attention to every item. It should be easy to find a Pecha Berry, but afterwards it couldn't hurt to explore a little more. It would be a great way to train. | |

| "Huh, you think?", Morty wondered as he wandered through the forest, the Fletchling by his side. It had only been a short walk from Grassveil town, but the urgency of the situation certainly had made it feel like an eternity had passed. "Uh, nevermind! We need to find something to cure that poison quickly!" And for the first time since he had left his family's house, the Inkay whshed himself to be back there. There one would not have had to walk through three rooms to have any possible poison removed from one's body. But of course the only time someone actually got poisoned, it had to be miles away. Oh well, hopefully they would find that berry soon... | |

| Sosio walked slowly, making sure she did not hurt herself. Eating would be the worst thing right now... Just gotta find a Pecha Berry... She was too tired, clumsy, and in pain to notice any items. She could barely stray her mind from the piercing pain. If they ever ran into a pokemon, she could probably absent-mindedly attack it, but it wouldn't be so easy. She could use growl to help Morty, but she didn't even know if the Inkay knew any moves. He didn't even know how to battle. Walking with stiff legs, she managed to speak to the nervous pokemon. "Do you... Do you know your... Moves?" She was in excruciating pain, but she was surprised when it suddenly stopped. Huh? How did... Slowly, the pain started to come back, like a sound from far away coming closer and closer into sight. No... Don't come back... Go away! leave me alone, stupid... The pain was back, and with an upset expression on her face, she continued. (TvT v is the beak, just for a visual reference) The bird pokemon walked a little slower, upset, yet began to ponder. How did the poison even start? Why is it so weird? She had a lot on her mind, and she depended on the Dark-type to guide her through the forest. She didn't even pay attention, but she was pretty sure the Psychic-type had responded to words she didn't even say. She thought some more, a little worried, however she was still determined. He's gotta pay attention to every item everywhere. If we pass a Pecha Berry, this could take dangerously long. | |

| The further they traveled, the more the Fletchling's condidition seemed to worsen. This was not good, not at all. If this kept up, it would all be up to Morty, and without any training fighting the feral Pokémon, who probably had to do battle every day would be nothing short of suicide. Suddenly a question interrupted the Inkay's fervent search. "Well, according to my parents I should be able to use Tackle, Peck, Reflect and Camouflage if I am not mistaken. Not much in the offensive range I fear." Now Morty could just use his Camouflage to disappear into his surroundings, but doing so would leave the poisoned and weakened Flying type out in the open, seemingly unguarded. As doing so would only attract more enemies, the Psychic type decided against doing so. "So, how are you feeling? Think you can make it a bit further?" | |

| She listened to his responses, the other half of her mind still stuck on the pain. "Tackle... Peck... good... I think there will be... lots of grass and bug-types... The idea of bug types creeped Sosio out. She'd rather not see one of those gross pokemon while in so much pain. She walked along. The pain intensified. It was impossible to focus on anything. The world seemed to spiral around her, yet everything was in front of her and in place. She stopped only a moment to pull herself together, hoping Morty didn't notice, and dashed to catch up. She listened to his caring question. "Just fine... definitely... I'm strong enough... She felt a little dizzy, but she was able to walk straight. It wasn't like she had confusion, too. The bird pokemon walked along with Inkay when she tripped. She got up, and the thing she tripped on rolled along with her feet into view. She picked it up and put it in her bag, without looking at what it was. Her head hurt too much, and she was still dizzy. She would wait until her pain weared off a bit again before she would take it out. | |

| "Maybe, but I still doubt I'd be of much help. Avoiding combat entirely should be the better idea in my opinion." Between the huge trees and their leaves casting shadows over the area, Morty felt...small. How old would those trees be? How long would they live? His own life probably wasn't any more than a blink of the nonexistant eye to them. What had the forest been like when these trees were planted? What had they seen? Questions over questions emerged from the sea of the Dark type's mind. Finally a cold, hash thought made itself known. Shaking his head, the small squid tried to clear his head. This was no time for philosophy, they had to act! | |

| Sosio had forgotten about the item. Her pain did not wear off. She began to become dizzier and dizzier. Her lungs couldn't seem to get enough air. She wanted out. She tried to ignore the pain and looked forward to when it would all stop. Will it ever stop? She twisted and stretched her legs uncontrollably. Her reflexes failed and spazzed, her head beating like her heart and veins. "Avoiding... Morty..."She stopped to cough, and continued. "Stopping is what we do when we give up..."That wasn't what she meant to say. She was actually trying to say, "Pokemon hold items, and defeating them can increase our chances of finding a Pecha Berry." Maybe it was best she didn't say that. It might pressure the high-strung pokemon into battling, then he might faint and leave the Fletchling unprotected. She didn't want that to happen. Her thoughts didn't stray from her pain, and she had almost completely forgotten about the item she found. Surely the pain would disappear just enough for her to see it... soon. - This dice is not existing.

| This...it certainly was not good. The Fletchling had lost the ability of fluent speech, indicating, that the poison had already affected dangerously much of her body. Well, it seemed, that she agreed with his idea of dodging combat as much as possible, so they were going with that as it seemed. "Where do these berries grow again?" The Inkay let out a sigh. "What good is it to know all that stuff about berries if you can't remember it when it matters?" Maybe Morty's parents had been right... | |

| She could barely hear Inkay. It was obvious the pain would not go away. She took out the item. It was sharp and wooden. Great, a stick... She put it back, head and stomach aching now. "Find it... I need it... look..." Morty seemed to focus more on the Fletchling rather than finding an item. Just find the darn berry already... Her eyes hurt to stay open. She wanted to rest, but she must keep moving forward. Slowly, the corners of her eyes became clouded with darkness, closing in on her vision. Great... Tunnel vision... Now it was impossible to keep her eyes open. It killed, and her eyes hurt and were sensitive to light. She walked with her eyes closed. It wasn't a problem, really. She used to pretend to be blind or would just do one of those "If you lost one of your senses" activities. She could cope best without sight. Her bird-built feet could sense the vibrations of movement and pokemon, and revealed the surrounding through touch. It was really interesting, but it was hard to cherish the ability. If her Dark-type assistant here started to freak out because she was walking with her eyes closed, then she would reassure him. "Fine. I see with feet." It sounded like she was talking like a cave-pokemon from ancient times, but it was enough to get the point out. Hopefully they would find that Pecha Berry soon... | |

| As the duo continued to travel through the forest, Morty began to despair. The things his new friend said were making less and less sense. How had she gotten poisoned this badly anyway? Hopefully it had been an accident. Who would even attempt to poison a poor, defenseless and innocent Pokémon? Yeah, it had to have been an accident. As the Inkay thought about those things, he forgot to watch where he was going, causing him to wander straight into a tree. As he tried to recover from the impact, another sharp pain made itself noticeable in his cranium. It seemed, that something had fallen onto his head. - This dice is not existing.

| Sosio heard a strange clunking sound that echoed throughout her head. The blurred image of something falling out of a tree and onto Morty's head appeared before her blurred and slightly open eyes, and played repeatedly as she closed them again. A new sensation had been added to the fletchling's list of pains. Her ears ring, a strange feeling of being in a large room, her surroundings seeming to grow farther then her. The trees towered above her and the ground became smaller. Voices and sounds she heard would start off soft, but grow louder and louder, booming inside her head. She covered her tiny ear holes hidden between feathers, and tried to rid the pain. Stop.... stop this pain... just go away... She stepped on crunching leaves and useless twigs, only worsening her migraine. The sky above her seemed to laugh and swirl menacingly, taunting her. The world felt like it was caving in, the ground beneath her sucking her down. She began to have sudden and random spasms when the cramps were at their worst. This was the worst experience ever. No accidental poisoning the Venusaurs did to her got this bad. The cure must be found quickly, because Sosio didn't think she could take it much longer. | |

| As he finally regained his composure, Morty managed to get a glance at the item he had found. At first the Inkay was delighted to see a berry in front of hm, but his mood quickly changed for the worse as it became apparent, that this berry was not a Pecha Berry at all, but rather an Oran Berry. Of course they just had to find an Oran Berry in the Pecha Forest. "Urgh...we need to hurry!" Just as the Fletchling's condition worsened, Morty's vision was beginning to blur and his thoughts were getting clouded. Was this just stress? Or had he been poisoned as well? No, that was something to think about later. Where could those Pecha Berries be? | |

| If Pecha Berries were supposed to be so common in this forest, why would it take so long to find one? Maybe it hadn't been long at all. Maybe their stressed minds stretched out the time, becoming seemingly longer. The pain worsened once again, at an unbearable level. Her whole body seemed to throb, feeling like it was becoming an uncontrollable jellatanous liquid. She sank, her backwards knees giving in, only to straighten them again and walk more, the process repeating. Her eyes spazzed, shaking the world as if an earthquake taking place, and the usually gentle beam of light was exaggerated into a flash of lightning in her suffering mind. If only she could relax. But of course, the world wouldn't let her. Her stomach spazzed violently, creating mini seizures that pulsed through her organs and veins. Her beak began to water, but not in the good way. The corners of her mouth became slick, and her nervousness made her feet sweaty. She didn't even think it was possible for birds to sweat until now. She swallowed nervously each time the sylivia would come, only to be replaced by more. It became harder and harder to swallow, and she quickly rushed to a corner. Nothing happened but her nervous gulping. Am I psyching myself out?She stared at the wall, begging the torture to dissappear, when she noticed an item tucked neatly in the corner between her feet. She stared at it. - This dice is not existing.

| This obviously was not working. Time was running out and the progress the duo had made was barely existant. If only one of them would be in a condition allowing them to fly into the treetops high above. All those Pecha Berries would be up there, the Inkay assumed. Why did all this have to happen? Was there some supernatural entity toying with them? The longer the journey of the strange team went on, the more Morty started to believe his own theory. After all the place would have to be named "Pecha Forest" for a reason. Hopefully the Pecha Berries hadn't gone extinct since the area had recieved its name. If they did, this would most likely be the end for the two explorers. But...what were they supposed to do? | |

| Anger seared throughout Sosio. Looking for the simplest, most common item, and she comes across the rarest. She burst out screaming and ranting. It must have been another side effect. "IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT? FOR ME TO SUFFER? WELL, GUESS WHAT? I'VE HAD IT! "She raged about, stomping and tossing things over in a loud search for a Pecha Berry, even if it was the last one left. When this tantrum was over, she collapsed on the ground, not feeling much better, but at least it was an excuse to rest. All of her noise must've attracted attention, because a pokemon wandered into sight. - This dice is not existing.
